Reminder not usableThe app is okay. I’m glad that they put one out finally. Aside from ordering or viewing your order history, the only thing the app can do is remind you to take your medicine. As long as, that is, you take yours either daily, weekly, or monthly. If not (like every two weeks), then you can’t use the reminder feature. It needs more customization..Version: 2.1.0

No one pays attention to the fine detailWhen I originally signed up for Accredo because I had a new prescription, I gave a representative my new insurance information as I stated that I have another policy that’s being canceled. After the preauthorization, they shipped my first dose. When it came time to get another dose, they said my insurance information was expired. I gave them my new insurance but apparently nobody listened or paid attention to what I said so I had to go through another preauthorization in fear of not being able to have my refill in time which scared me because the type of medication is life-sustaining. After I thought everything was said and done, I spoke to a representative after I gave them my new insurance information for the second time and they said everything would be OK. I spoke to a representative from Dana Farber and when she called on my behalf to Accredo, they said that I was supposed to call them to give them my information. Again, nobody pays attention to the fine detail and unfortunately I had to get another preauthorization. Finally after stress and all the issues that I went through with the help of a representative from Dana Farber, I was able to get my refill. This is sad and unfortunateAnd nobody should have to go through this stress especially when we are all diagnosed with cancer and that Accredo should understand that. Overall I am not happy and I am not satisfied! I hope this doesn’t happen again when I need another refill..Version: 2.22.1

Always a problemSince I started with this prescription I have had problems with Accredo. It has been the same prescription for years now. At the beginning problems with Accredo not understanding my payment vehicles via Cimzia and SaveOn, then Accredo not understanding my prescription and always wanting a doctor’s pre-approval even for a refill even though it is obvious nothing has changed, and now Accredo not wanting to fill my prescription because Accredo did not understand my SaveOn program as if something had changed when it did not. All in all Accredo seems to be inefficient and no thinking seems to take place when it comes to processing my prescription. As a patient I am behind by almost 20 days in taking my prescription and Accredo is responsible for me being in pain due to this latest delay and inefficient individuals or processes at Accredo..Version: 2.27.0

Crappy company with a crappy appThe company makes its money by delaying expensive medication to patients by making patients reorder recurring prescriptions each month, when it should be on auto. I should have known that their app would not make ordering easier. After calling their “24/7” line to speak to a pharmacist and finding that no one was there, I tried the app, but couldn’t log in, despite entering a prescription number starting with 9 zeros and about six other digits. These people are the least sincere people in healthcare, which is saying a lot!.Version: 2.4.1

I would give no stars if I couldThey’ve wrongfully charged my card thousands of dollars twice. 8,000 dollars total. They can’t even give me an explanation as to how it happened. After the first time took my card off auto pay to insure it didn’t happen again. I’ve spent probably hours now on the phone with them. They couldn’t even immediately give me my money back and blamed my bank they said three to five buisness days and I called my bank and they said acredo just hasn’t put the money back yet. I couldn’t even pay for my groceries they’ve left me with no money twice during a pandemic. My insurance won’t cover my medication unless it’s through acredo and when I ordered my meds after the first accidental charge I asked the woman several times how much it was going to cost and that I couldn’t be charged thousands again. My meds were supposed to coat five dollars. She assured me it wouldn’t happen again. Honestly this has been such a nightmare I’d rather just be sick then to have to get my meds from them and keep dealing with this..Version: 2.13.0

Lag and clunky appFace ID will not work on an iPad, but Touch ID would when it was more prevalent on older devices. Responses when navigating screens are tremendously slow, but not nearly as slow if you have to speak with customer service to refill a prescription. When their order system is offline for maintenance or unavailable this app does not inform you that is the case and just puts you in a login loop. If I had a choice I would never use Accredo because of this poorly performing app and their tedious customer service processes. Cigna bought a lemon and has done nothing to improve it during their ownership..Version: 2.23.0

Flawed and PointlessAccount information displayed on the app does not match actually account information when speaking with a pharmacy rep. Rx scheduling data is not real time. Unpaid balance is almost always wrong, usually higher than what is owed. App will take a payment even when one is not needed. Reps on the phone will tell you otherwise, but they are wrong. Cannot see copayment cards linked to a patient’s account. Often the app will prompt to call the pharmacy and then you’ll give up hours of your time fighting with the reps on the phone. What is the point of using this app if you will need to call anyway..Version: 2.25.0

Speciality RXAbsolutely horrible experience with this app, with phone calls, just trying to get medicine that I need daily to survive is so time consuming. I receive numerous phone calls for each prescription. Each phone call less than minimum of 45 minutes and I’ve actually been on the phone for 2 1/2 hours trying to just get a refill. An automated system calls me, then transfers me to somebody who has no idea why I’m calling them but I didn’t call them they called me. When they finally figure it out I have to transfer me to somebody else because they have no access to the information that the computer had called me on to begin with. In this day and age it is the most ridiculous use of technology, they really need to revamp their processes..Version: 2.22.1

Worst experience trying to get a specialty medicationI would give negative stars if I could. I have had more back and forth calls than I can count, just in an attempt to get my specialty medication. It took two full months just to get my new specialty drug. I finally did receive the loading dose for my new prescription and now I am going through hoops again just trying to get a refill for it. My doctor’s office has called Accredo multiple times and I have also. Once one issue is fixed, Accredo comes up with another reason why they cannot send me the medication I need. I have to wonder if they are trying to purposefully prevent patients from getting their specialty medication - is it because it is expensive? I truly do not understand. I am beyond frustrated and disappointed in the customer service and their lack of concern for helping patients. If Accredo reads this, please fix the very broken workflow that prevents patients from getting their medication. There are so many barriers. There has to be an easier way..Version: 2.20.0

Not a good pharmacyOn more than one occasion, I haven’t received my medication on time, in both instances I was at least a week past when I last needed to take it. I tried to refill my prescription using the link that I received in a text message from Accredo and found out four days later that it never did anything. Accredo is a mess but unfortunately it’s the Specialty pharmacy that my insurance insists we use. Given any other options, I would jump ship asap..Version: 2.27.0

Really bad service and delay of medicationAccredo specialty pharmacy service is unbelievably bad. My doctor was able to locate any other pharmacies to send prescriptions but accredo, after trying phone numbers and addresses etc. Had many calls with accredo and everything was assured by them that they would reach to my doctor immediately by “patient rescue” action. And my doctor never heard from them. And then every time when I spoke to them the agent had no record at all on previous calls so I had to describe again. Eventually I ran our medication for more than a week so I had to ask my doctor to send prescription to CVS which worked immediately. But Cigna would force me to use accredo. I hope they fix the problem so I would be able to get medication this time. Finger crossed..Version: 2.5

Not impressedMy pharmacy got switched to acreedo for some reason about 3 years ago and it’s been nothing but issues. Every time I have to order medicine it’s a whole ordeal to get it on time. My copay assistance never gets billed so I always have a $3 thousand balance and my shipment gets canceled. I ask what the issue is and then all of the sudden they can get it cleared up. I ask for help to get this resolved but get no answers on why this is happening. If you have the option, don’t use acreedo..Version: 2.19.0

Great for orderingAs a MS patient, I find this(as well as so many more)app very useful. I however find it extremely disappointing that I’ve written in about this since January, and you just updated you app so much that you had to robo call me to let me know how great it is. It is absolutely amazing, that so many apps out there (of which yours is too) do not use landscape mode. It’s a easy fix, and would REALLY be helpful to those of us who really do need the help. Awful!If I could give a negative number of stars, I would. I’m not sure if it’s a problem with the app or the company, but I have to call multiple times every month in order to get my medication. The delivery date keeps changing to a later date after my order has been placed. I have missed my medication because of it. Every month I spend at least 30 minutes on the phone with the representative telling me there are no protocols holding up the order, so they don’t know what the problem is..Version: 2.12

Decline in serviceI’ve been using Accredo for 5 years. The past 6 months have been full of headaches including a billing debacle that took at least 5 phone calls to straighten out. Half the time, I can’t refill my prescriptions from the app and have to call, why have that feature in the app? When calling, I have to authenticate with the auto attendant and then provide the exact same info to the rep who ultimately answers the call. App bug caused me to pay when I didn’t oweThis app has a bug with account balances not being an accurate view of what the customer actually owes. This caused me to pay for a prescription I did not need to and almost pay a second time that I didn’t need to either. It took an hour long phone call to finally work this out The app seems to show a balance even if that is expected to come in from your insurance or copay assistance program. The website shows the correct information for me, don’t trust this app for balances, make sure to go to the website for an accurate picture.Version: 2.22.1

CommunicationI have been communicating with multiple people trying to get a refill on my Dupixent for over a week. I have spoken with several people at Accredo, Express Scripts and a representative from the Eastern Kentucky university. It was clearly a situation of the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing. I placed a refill on Dupixent and was to arrive 1 day before I needed it. I started calling and going to the website and finally saw the order was stopped. I never got any notification of that. And the saga continues. I was told the Rx was expedited later it was called urgent. It appears those terms don’t have any significance. I was o one call for 30 minutes and still didn’t solve it. Ineffective App from a Disorganized CompanyI’ve told Accredo at least 4 times now to update my communication preferences to stop calling me unless they absolutely have to. They keep telling me I can use their convenient app; the thing is I don’t get notifications (and the notifications ARE on), I don’t get text message reminders, and I don’t get emails telling me it’s time to reorder. I don’t get informed of scheduling or billing issues — I don’t learn of these issues until I realize, ‘oh hey…I was supposed to get my meds delivered yesterday and that didn’t happen…’. Once again, I get a call to reorder my meds, the wrong address is still in their records so I have to update that AGAIN, no emails, no texts, no app notifications. Is this a review of their communication practices more than it is their app? Yeah, but the app is disorganized and doesn’t send notifications and is annoying to get through and lists meds I haven’t taken in something like three years and lists the wrong address despite me changing it so there’s all of that, too..Version: 2.31.0

The worstOne of the worst inept companies I can think of. I’ve had to use Accredo for over 10 years: Enbrel, Humira, Tezspire…with very few exceptions almost every refill consumes at least one hour of my time. Minimum. Shipments are often cancelled after scheduling live with a representative. I’ve been asked MANY times if this is my “first time with Accredo.” Billing is very frequently ignored, misbilled or lost. I have literally given my third party info to a billing representative who transferred me to a scheduling representative who then had NO RECORD of the previous call or third party info. Rinse, repeat. Truly nuts. It really is an absolute NIGHTMARE. I could write quite a bit but I’m burned out on dealing with this awful company.Version: 2.31.0

There is one super frustrating bugMy doctor switched my meds, and the old med was automatically removed from my Accredo app. Unfortunately, that didn’t remove the medication dose reminder, and I think because the med is gone from my account, it won’t let me open the med reminder settings to turn off the reminder. (It still lets me change settings for my current meds though.) So now I’m get alerts for a med that I no longer take, which I cannot get rid of. From now on I won’t be using that feature in case this happens again, so I turned off my other med reminders, and I’m probably going to have to turn off app notifications entirely to stop it until it is fixed. That’s pretty annoying, since I use the app primarily to get notifications for med refills and shipping. Hopefully they will fix this. I reported the bug but I don’t know how long it’ll stay this way. I’ll update my review if/when it ever gets addressed..Version: 2.20.0

App doesn’t even show an RxAccredo is a real pain to deal with. The app is useless, it doesn’t show current active orders. Accredo calls on the phone for refills and leaves voice mails, rather than just fill the refill on a monthly basis. They don’t honor copay assistance programs from major manufacturers on refills. Every month is starting over with them just to get a refill. I just got an email that I owe a $250 copay for an in-process refill, log in to the app and the last refill it shows is from September. With sloppy business practices like this, confirm that what they send you is actually the correct medication. It was easier getting refills from Walgreens..Version: 2.11.1

UnorganizedThis pharmacy is so unorganized and every step of filling RX comes with several days of delay. The staff are not properly trained so be prepared to repeat your problem and Phatmacy issue several times. And at the end instead of following up with what needs to get done they just put your RX on hold without notifying you as if you don’t need it or it’s not a specialty drug. I’m so disappointed. Unfortunately stuck with them due to my insurance or I would have changed my pharmacy. Good luck with them..Version: 2.17.0

LackingWhen ordering you can not select a different address from your address and must edit the last one used. When entering a address the second address line will not accept any characters such as a lot number or apt number. It is also limited to 25 characters limiting special delivery instructions. I am unable to edit my order such as wanting to delete the alcohol wipes as the shots already come with them..Version: 2.14.2

TerribleBCBS changed specialty pharmacies effective January 1. It has been a nightmare. Accredo calls me multiple times a day asking for the same information. Last time I spoke with them—I told them to figure it out but I can’t keep providing the same information with no results. I am now overdue for my medication. There is no end in sight. Humira is life changing for me. I cannot believe this company is in the drivers seat to my health—-they have been completely useless. I hope BCBS will change back to AllianceRX.
