✓ 3.5⭐️: Would be 5⭐️ if it wasn’t so tedious to change Nour’s fate!I should start of by saying that the game itself is 5⭐️. The game has an incredible social message and you feel connected to Nour and Madj throughout the game. However, there should be an option when replaying a scenario that you have already played to rewind and choose the outcome from there. There should be “checkpoints” you should be able to revisit to change her fate. We should also be able to skip text once we’ve already seen it in a previous game. I’m in the middle of my third replay, and it becomes incredibly tedious to replay all these text exchanges. The developers might feel like giving the option to skip through texts you’ve played previously take away from the experience, but it really doesn’t. We already know what’s going to be said, and it’s frustrating to have to wait to get to the important decision making. It’s like playing a video game you’ve played before and not being able to skip through long, tedious cutscenes. I think that once a player goes through a scenario, those texts that have played before with no choices should be skippable. I also think that decisions should be “checkpoints,” so to speak, that we can revisit at the end of a game if we wish to change Nour’s fate. Making it more like a puzzle we have to solve for an outcome we want is more fun than sitting through a story we’ve seen before. Until there are some changes made, this will be my last play-through. It’s just too tedious. This is a great game that needs some fine-tuning..Version: 1.6

✓ Great game, but buggy engineThis is a wonderful game, very thoughtful and teaches me about a struggle and an area of the world I’m not familiar with. By and large the dialogue is well written (the occasional autocorrect humour could be a little more occasional, and I don’t always feel the offered emoji quite fit what I would say). The pictures add another level of depth and beauty to the game. But there are problems with the engine. Scrolling can break the rendering of the text balloons, making it feel quite fragile. At least once with a picture I thought I’d locked the game because I couldn’t exit it (it turns out there was a very hard to see ‘X’ in the top left. So not actually a bug, just a slight UX problem.) But the worst thing is that having just ended the game a second time, the concluding audio will not play - this is very frustrating! Please continue to work on this lovely game, and fix up some of the bugs that detract from it being enjoyed as it should!.Version: 1.6

✓ I love it, but...Beautiful game. Original and heartwarming. But it can be quite buggy and laggy, like scrolling messes up the screen. The map is somewhat difficult to use too. **To anyone reading, this part below spoils an ending.** I’ve just finished the game for the second time, Nour was on her way through a river, but the boat capsized, and Majd was begging her to run.. Nour stopped responding, and as always, she sent a voice message to bring the ending. But i tap play, and the audio recording wont start? Last time, I had no issues. I am DYING to figure out what happened ....Version: 1.6
✓ Great idea but incredibly slowI appreciate the idea, but for a game with multiple endings and not a lot of interaction, it would be nice if we could skip or fast forward dialogue already seen, or go back to a previous moment. I just spent 40 minutes trying to get to where I was, on the fastest settings possible (because while the real time mechanic is powerful, who has all that time?) and the game ended after a couple of choices. Please consider adding a way to make it easier to go through these routes, because I can’t imagine going through the same thing over and over again at a snails pace in order to experience all parts of the story. I will probably just leave it for now and hope this will be implemented some day..Version: 1.3

✓ Educational and suspensefulThis game helped me understand and sympathize with Syrian refugees in a way that a regular essay couldn't have conveyed. Since I played over the course of two weeks, I got attached to Nour and I was sad when the game ended. I have no personal experience with refugees, but Nour's choices seem realistic and she has to make lots of risky decisions. I love the fact that there are multiple endings... but I'm not sure if I have the emotional strength to play again! Great job..Version: 1.4

✓ Amazing storyThe actual narrative is amazing and really immersive but it’s got minor problems like the map is really clunky and hard to navigate. Also when you go to read texts from previous days it only allows u to see the last few which is quite Annoying because u can’t really read through ur past decisions. Also it would be amazing if you could implement some sort of money tracking system.I would also appreciate some sort of ending library that tells me how many of the ending I have got and so I can listen to some on my older endings just so I know whether I’ve gotten all the endings or not..Version: 1.6

✓ AmazingThis game is amazing you get to go through a journey that feels so real, like half the time i had like MAJOR anxiety when she wouldn’t answer me and I’m actually waiting for her to text me back right now and I love how you actually have to put your phone down and continue with life until she actually texts you back and I think the waiting factor is really cool because it gives you something to think about and you don’t get an answer right on the spot. But I also love how you get to through this journey with Nour and be there for her throughout her long journey and I just really love this game☺️😊😆☀️❤️.Version: 1.6
✓ Compelling storyTake part in a real-time-ish text conversation between Nour and Majd, as Majd supports his wife Nour by phone as she flees Syria for Europe. You quickly get sucked into an emotional connection. It’s compelling. There aren’t a lot of decisions to make. But the ones you do make seem to have major impact on the story. My partner and I are seeing totally different stories. Can you get Nour safely settled in Europe? Don’t know if I can get / not at the end!.Version: 1.3

✓ A slow burn, but ultimately well worth it.I’ve played similar games that simulate a chat interface and work in real time, but this game impressed me. The choices you make actually matter and appear to change the path Nour takes as she attempts to travel into Europe. The game generally checks in a few times a day and never felt annoying. You can switch it to real time if you’re more interested in flying through, but the story is better told in small chunks. It’s hard not to sympathize with Nour and the plight of many like her. I felt like I understood the situation of many refugees a little better after playing this game..Version: 1.3
