Rozeta Sequencer Suite for Positive User Reviews

Brilliant and innovativeThis app suite is brilliant. It’s also a little bit disruptive, in the way that the best innovations can be. For example, I was initially using Navichord to send midi sequences to Rozeta Arpeggio, but this was a bit CPU intensive and was causing problems on iPad Pro 9.7; however, along now comes Rozeta Cells, which elegantly solves this problem (the developer is way ahead here!). I was initially a bit miffed that I needed to buy AUM to get this suite to work, as midi audio unit plugins are not widely supported yet. However, very glad I took the plunge. I think the app suite would benefit from a clearer “how to” guide, but this is not a big issue (easily outweighed by the usefulness of the suite for experimenting, improvising etc)..Version: 1.0.4

Dream SuiteAn indispensable batch of tools I never knew I needed. And they just keep coming. This is definitely the beginning of a new life for iOS!.Version: 1.0.5

A Must Have! The Rozeta Suite is now one of my favorite music making tools - it’s impossible to not be inspired using any of the audio units and the fact that you can use multiple instances is amazing! Thank you for creating such fantastic music making tools!.Version: 1.0.5

Indispensable for iOS music making!Still great! So just get it! Please? Ha!.Version: 1.3.13

Luv-gitBrambos -nuff said If you are serious about making iOS music then you already know. -this app is the app of the year. Bam..Version: 1.0.4

High quality app for bargain priceThis is so good and after watching videos was a big reason I bought an iPad. Many hours spent jamming with the suite alongside AUM and my fav synths and drum machines. Much respect for this and the other apps from bram bos.Version: 1.2.3

GET THIS NOW. Bram Bos has done it again. This is a must buy. Instant gratification. Any chance for a piano roll module? Keep it up..Version: 1.0

Would give this 20 stars if possible!I have only used scaler and arpeggio quite extensively and I cannot begin to say what great value they are for musicians. The guy behind this is a genius. Highly recommended!.Version: 1.2.3

Great collectionThis is a great collection of useful, practical and esoteric sequencers that every iOS musician should have..Version: 1.2.1

Sooooo much funGreat set of apps.Version: 1.1

Fantastic!.If only I could do my own rhythm patterns in the drum Euclidean sequencer..Version: 1.3.3

Must haveTurns AUM into a MIDI powerhouse. Deceptively simple and yet super creative and powerful..Version: 1.3.3

Very creative pluginsI bought this to use with Cubasis and it integrates really nicely with it. You can record the generated midi to the track but I prefer just to keep the plugins running as you can do realtime transpose, pattern switching and on some of them you can set random mutation percentages so they keep generating small variations. They are cleverly thought out and are quick to produce interesting results. Highly recommended..Version: 1.1

Love this appJust a suggestion for future updates, a real time polyphonic sequencer (just for a few bars) and a AudioShare output would be very much appreciated..Version: 1.2

Where have these been all my life?!Bram Bros have outdone themselves with this suite, and I’m proud to say I own every app they’ve released. The generative possibilities are (literally) endless with this!.Version: 1.2.2

Quality!Love the simplicity and usability of each of these modules. Frequent updates too. Keep on keepin’ on👌.Version: 1.0.4

Exactly what was neededIt’s a little deep, but a really good way to learn more about how midi works and how to use it..Version: 1.2.2

Very handy midi plugsHad these midi plugs for 1 year and they’ve been incredibly useful. Everything from the sequencers, to the XY pads and the LFOs(though I’d love’em to go a bit faster so I can do S&H in time with my 120 bpm songs). A Midi Envelope would complete this suite nicely, I’d even buy it as add on or separate plug..Version: 1.3.1

Lots of good starting tools with limited workflow caveats.X0X, Bassline, and the LFO/XY controllers were the reason for purchase. Was hoping to get a similar workflow to Electribe wave with x0x because Korg didn’t provide midi out for that app. The main thing I like better about Korgs step sequencer is that the note are one touch on/off which allows you to slide across several and toggle them quickly. I would prefer that method instead of having to click the note a second time to toggle it off. Setting up the iM1 to toggle with x0x in AUM took forever to set up because they don’t list the keyboard note only the number. I made a chart in excel to resolve this, but there should be a note learn button or something so I can find the sample in iM1 on the keyboard and press it to auto learn the correct key for the drum. There is also no way to trigger the note without playing the pattern which is just another nice thing. Not being able to save preset kits within x0x is limiting as well. I absolutely love bassline and think it’s an amazing tool for just diving in to a song from scratch. My plan is to send automation info in to Cubasis, gadget, or other iOS synths via these units. There could be a bit better documentation because I couldn’t get this to work at all with beatmaker 3. I inserted it as a midi effect and the pads/keyboard light up like the plugin is working but no sound comes out of my synth unless I press a key in beatmaker. If you’re new to iOS music making this must be combined with a AUM, or other iOS DAW that supports audio units..Version: 1.2.3

BrilliantWithout exaggeration, much of the love I have for creating music on my iPad stems from these amazing apps. From the moment I launched this suite in AUM, I was using it to create sounds and tracks. They are easy to use once you get the swing, and they have depth. Bram Bos is a genius. Thank you for making these apps!.Version: 1.3.3

Bm 3BeatMaker 3 compatible? I hopefully changed my one star to a five star please note the changes as that was a mistake thnk u!!!!.Version: 1.2

Works with Cubasis 3Awesome app and good developer..Version: 1.3.2

Absolutely Delicious!I’m using these sequencers in AUM to control my hardware gear and AUv3 synths at the same time. These are amazing creative tools not to be missed!.Version: 1.1

Stellar! (However...)Just bought it and I'm already in heaven but if possible I have a feature request. Could you increase the rate of the LFOs to 16x for tempo sync? If not just curious as to why this is not possible. Great stuff as always from Bram Bos!.Version: 1.2.1

PERFECT!!!!DOES EXACTLY WHAT IT SAYS, NO ISSUES WITHIN CUBASIS. THANK YOU BRAM BOS FOR AN OUTSTANDING APP HAVE PURCHASED OTHER BRAM BOS APPS AND THEY ARE ALL SPOT ON....... 10/10...*****.Version: 1.2.1

Worth it for Scaler aloneI have simple needs...be able to transpose or lock in scales with the push of a (midi controller) button. I tried Scaler, which was perfect except for a bug that cut off notes instead of quantizing them. So I looked for alternatives...ScaleBud, MF Scales, Xequence... NONE of these could do the simple task that Rozeta Scaler could. So in my despair I contacted the Scaler developer about the bug I was running into. Boom the app was updated and the audio glitch was fixed the next day...unbelievable. This suite is SO useful and easy to use, it’s crazy how none of the alternatives even come close..Version: 1.3.5

Wow!! Opens new creative doorsCan’t wait to explore this more..Version: 1.2.1

Took A While To Get Into but….. but now I love it/them..Version: 1.3.12

Great pluginsOnce I knew how to work them, fantastic stuff..Version: 1.2.2

Love itSuper dope app, love it and it’s a must app for any iOS musician.Bram Bos what about porting this app to Mac OS..Version: 1.1

Bram is the manI don’t know where I would be without Rozeta suite. Excellent app..Version: 1.2.3

Really great set of MIDI sequencers and tools, almost perfectRozeta is a diverse set of MIDI sequencers and tools which are really easy to understand right away. I’ve found them all to be very stable, with low CPU usage and thoughtful design. Two wish list items if there’s ever a v2, which would make the implementation perfect: 1. Wider array of clock divisions for the sequencers (two bars just isn’t enough as an upper limit for slow sequences). 2. A way to reset the LFOs, either via a MIDI note or by indicating a phase position relative to the MIDI clock. I don’t really understand why it can sync to tempo but doesn’t allow you to specify phase. Even without these two features, it’s a no brainer to buy it at this price. Truly a great value. Buy it and you won’t regret it..Version: 1.3.4

Top notch midi toolsLove this, great dev keeps it updated too. This app suite contains way more than it should, and am always unlocking secrets. Buy this, aum and all the other bram apps.Version: 1.2.1

Good quality stuffNot as feature-rich as I’d hoped, but a very welcome and useful set of tools. I know the developer likes to keep things simple, but hopefully a bit more is in the development pipeline for this one. And I wouldn’t be surprised if it is, Bram Bos is one of the most responsive and reliable developers on iOS..Version: 1.0

Very flexibleThe first thing I do when loading up aum is select multiple bram bos devices.. Cells into arp into scaler into a synth. Lfo’s running into scaler to alter semitones . Drum sequencer into ruismaker to make beats , lfo’s into ruismaker to alter parameters Finished off with a liberal dose of sequenced fx. Crazy modulation is easily available via this suite of apps which has continued to develop since release...Version: 1.2.1

JoyAdds more power and creativity to your apps! Great developer... Wish for future machines that do midi echo, dual arpeggios, and keyscale chord features like reasons players! Would be a super addition...would even iap those!.Version: 1.0.7

Well Worth ItThese sequencers are flexible, simplistic with complexities, and fun to play. Bram Bos FTW.Version: 1.2.3

Great collection of sequencersThis is a Great collection of sequencers . Good user interface experience with these. All my Bram Bos apps are great..Version: 1.3.4

If you got this far...Do it! Plug them into AUM; they take about a day to figure out, then they begin to play themselves. Don’t feed them after midnight!.Version: 1.2.2

Essential MIDI toolsA great pack of super useful MIDI sequencing tools. Easy to learn and to use..Version: 1.3.16

Essential iOS11+ music appThe reason I risked everything and went from a safe iOS and into the unknown. Very, very happy to have taken the risk, Rozeta is a revolution in iOS music, complimenting the very best of its AUv3 hosts. A suit of midi generators for the price of one, I use them daily to quickly get ideas going before opening a DAW to refine. Many of the apps in the suite have seen modifications and added features due to the devs constant conversations with music makers on the Audiob.us web site. This is the way to make apps!.Version: 1.2.1

If you make music and have an iPadYou should get all of this developer’s apps. They are all fantastic and this one takes all the cool sequencers from all the instruments and puts them in one suite with a lot of extras. It’s certainly in my “must have” category! Simply amazing.Version: 1.0.6

What just happened? There was ACP, then Audiobus, IAA, AUM and AUx, then the next thing happened, an AUM/Odessa scientific supercake, the next piece of the dream of the device-as-modular-DAW. So yes I'm enthusiastic about this..Version: 1.0
