✓ Great Drum Sound ModuleThis is a great sounding analog drum machine style module. Assuming you know what you're doing in terms of opening as an Audiounit as well as recording, Ruismaker offers circuit level digital algorithms that provide subtle differences in each hit - similar to Roland's ACB technology. I don't know that they go as detailed as Roland, but they certainly sound just as potent. I use a USB interface with iPad Pro, and Ruismaker works at 96k perfectly..Version: 1.1.2

I am in support of developers embracing the AUv3 standard, especially when it sounds this good. Lots of consistency and simple, but powerful control options. ✓ Flexible analog modeling, great plugin!I’ve bought all the Bram Bos plugins minus the Ruismaker FM and boy howdy they all sound great, this is no exception. The Euclidean sequencer is stellar, I’d use it all the time if you could only adjust note resolution to other divisions! Maybe a ratchet option too? Much love to the Bram Bos team..Version: 2.2.2

✓ Great drum soundsIt’s so easy to reach for BB audio units because they’re so immediate and elegantly designed. These are all 5 star apps, but as an audio unit it’s not possible to switch active pad for live tweaking without triggering the pad. It’s also not easy to tell which pad is which sound while in audio unit mode because the labels don’t come up until you trigger the pad/sound. If the (kind of pointless) numbers beneath the pads were replaced with abbreviations instead of numbers, and if there were a way to switch active pad without triggering it I’d use it twice as much and I’d immediately come back and give this 5 stars..Version: 2.2.2
✓ Love it!Great sound, super simple interface. Works great in GarageBand. I think I found a small bug, which is when it's in "punchy" mode the level of the module tends to creep up. A thwack on a louder instrument will bring the level down. Not a problem when the compressor is engaged (phat mode)..Version: 1.1.4

✓ PERFECT drums!!I owned Ruismaker FM previously, but thought I’d give the OG a shot because I actually prefer analog drums over FM. Best drum-related decision I’ve made yet. This drum synth is solid, surprisingly flexible for what it is (a large collection of preset engines for each percussion instrument that can be individually rearranged into drum kits and individually tweaked) and stable. I mean, it’s Bram Bos. Buy it..Version: 2.2.2

Just exactly what we've been wanting.This audio unit is truly amazing - yes, I know they're widely available on PC's & Mac's, however AUv3 Audio Units are a fairly recent development on iOS devices, and deserve to be looked at in a different light, largely because there are still so few of them. Maybe it's due to SOME developers NOT taking iOS music creation as seriously as they really ought to! In any case, this AU App certainly is worthy of special mention as it is a five-star, TOP DRAWER (wait for it . . .) DRUM MACHINE Synth!! YESSS! It has an easy-to-use, elegantly presented User Interface, with powerful drum synthesis. ✓ Excellent drum synth just got epic!According to the description, there are no samples, only synth circuitry emulation in this app. Having given it a go, I have to say: the sound is really nice. Thick, punchy kicks, live snares, musical toms, it's all there. Now works as standalone! Awesome, fluid sequencer, save, midi, all kinds of junk. So great! Don't hesitate on this one!.Version: 2.0

✓ The best. The best! THE BEST![update 25-Aug-2017] wow, Bram Bos has done it again! This was already one of my favorite and most used apps. No there is a brilliant sequence generator that is inspiring and fun to use. Thank you!!! If you're into 808, 909, and other retro drum machine type sounds, and you have an Audio Unit Extensions supporting host like AUM, ModStep, Cubasis, or even GarageBand, just get this! I've not used any of my large collection of retro drum machine emulation apps since getting RuisMaker. It's just so easy to dial in the sounds I'm looking for. It's amazingly CPU friendly. It's fun, inspiring, and effective. Since it's an Audio Unit Extension, you can run as many instances as you want at a time. So, you can have more than just the 8 pads, or you can have multiple kits loaded and switch between them mid-song. As for performance, I tested 8 simultaneous instances in ModStep, each playing a different kit, and each running a heavy pattern at the same time without my iPad Air2 breaking a sweat. It's just killer. You won't regret getting RuisMaker for an instant..Version: 2.0
