✓ Decent game spoiled by in-your-face monetisation attemptsThe game itself is good: simple but engaging gameplay, cute graphics and a nice easy control scheme. Unfortunately the whole experience is spoiled by all the ways it tries to trick you into making in-game purchases. The price of upgrades in “sweets” (the in-game currency) rises as you gain levels, faster than you can earn sweets in game, so the only way to obtain most upgrades is to pay real money to buy extra sweets. The game keeps directing you to do things in the store (“Choose your new collectible!”) which require more sweets than you have. And so on. ✓ ObstaclesI give this three stars for the obstacles. Some are piloted like the anvil others are not like the lasers and death balloons. So how is it possible that the unpiloted obstacles can zoom in front of me and kill me. It’s triggering to get a near 3,000 M run then hello says the laser or death balloon. Another issue is the videos for doubleing your candy it never works. Possible cause the devs what you to buy the doubleing bot. ✓ BugsIt’s a great game to pass the time, but recently I’ve had to stop playing because whenever I tried to change my contraptions, the screen would stop working properly and when it would work, it changed all of my contraption levels, especially the gold ones, back to lvl1. ✓ Enjoyed it but it’s all gone wrong!Was loving the game, but now it’s all gone wrong, I couldn’t use it as the contraption menu would block my whole screen. Then I got a golden yo-yo and so the pop up to tell me it was available made me open the contraption menu, so I couldn’t plat at all. Uninstalled and reinstalled all items apart from my golden yo-yo are gone (contraptions, collectibles etc) and now sweets collected don’t appear or count so I can’t even try to progress again. ✓ Cute game, but buggy with too many baited “gifts”I like this game p, it’s very cute and fun to play. However, it has some serious bugs. First, some of the ads crash and you lost the credit you would have gotten for watching/playing the ad. Second, it reset the tutorial on mine and it kept making me go back to the basic glider. This also killed all the experience I earned one level, making it so I have to re-earn all my 6->7 experience. Lastly, there are presents that you can grab, but if you grab 2 or 3, 1 or 2 of those you have to “pay” for. Again, cute and fun game, just has some issues that make it unenjoyable..Version: 1.2.3

✓ Good Game But...So I think this game is really fun but what annoyed me is that I started playing on my iPhone. I then downloaded the game on my iPad. For some reason my level in the game transferred (7 cannonball) but my candies didn’t and I couldn’t access the store or any of my gliders. My other complaint is that when you collect multiple presents, you can open the first one but it makes you pay for the others in candy. If I collected it, why do I have to pay to open it. Also, I think the lunchboxes that you buy for 50 candy should come as a bonus or something you can collect in intervals because you can only get one piece and you have to watch an ad to get more. ✓ Why the change?Developers: why did you change it? This game was one of my favorites for many reasons before your last update. The white is too bright, and the black looked better, especially on the collectible icons. The daily present used to give three or so gifts, such as some candies and a puzzle piece or two. Now it only gives you 5 to 10 candies and you have to watch a video to get another present of 5 to 10 candies. Finally, the play again screen that shows up after a run. I really liked the way it was before, with the smaller play again section and the other side that showed what collectibles and gliders you were using. So if you could change it back, I think your game would be enjoyable once more..Version: 1.3.0

✓ Endless runner with endless adsI hope you like your whimsical Jet Pack Joyride rehashes with a LOT of ads and overwhelming chaos. I feel like there’s no making progress in this game. There’s plenty of peril to prevent you from flying very far, and there’s very little you can do to stay in the air very long. Time to watch another 30-second ad! ✓ Constructive feedback I hopeI like the game. The flights are fun and it runs smoothly. The issues are all to do with the extra stuff. The system of buying new kit is elaborate and quite confusing. The biggest problem though is that it can take almost a minute sometimes to go from crashing to playing again. If you have gifts (no idea what they do or why i have to watch puzzle animations), then a high score, then candy count up, and numerous other animations, it’s so laborious. I know that many successful iPhone games have lots of reward mechanics that are largely meaningless (e.g. explosions, bonuses, and point count-ups in candy crush and similar), and it’s probably quite important for how you hook people in and then monetise the game, but I think you’ve got the balance wrong. If you could streamline the process from crashing to flying again, and perhaps clean up slightly (or simplify) the non-flying part of the game (upgrading, gifts, etc), then the game would be much stronger. tl;dr I like the flying. Please can I fly more and spend less time watching animations and clicking, just to get back to the point of flying!.Version: 1.1.9

✓ Amazing gameThis game is super fun to play, I played probs half an hour the first time I opened it up. Sounds awesome looks awesome, plays great. But past the half hour mark you’ll notice the only way to progress is to collect candy, which is near impossible to do. Every obstacle you hit, you lose candy (not to mention they follow you too) it’s difficult to get over 2 candy in a run and if I have over 10 I’ll immediately kill myself so I can collect them. ✓ Help Please..?Dear Developers... While playing my favorite game, a problem popped up whenever you wanted to fly Ava. When it gives you the option to fly the Ava contraptions or the plane races, it won’t let you go into any of them. The more you click the buttons for either game, the surrounding screen just gets darker and darker until the background is black, and you’re stuck with the two game modes frozen on your screen. ✓ Monetization Tactics Ruin a Fun GameThe way the developers decided to implement micro transactions into the game is so abrasive that it ruins the app. Games where you are encouraged to stay alive as long as you can benefit from a system where you can try again immediately. Here, you have to wait through 3 screens that can barley be sped up and a menu that asks if you want to watch ads for more in game currency. Pick up more than one present in a game? You have to pay to open it with in game currency. So many tactics and distractions just to tug at your wallet or get you to watch advertisements. The game itself is fun with but has some flaws. It’s hard to judge altitude. Maybe put an indicator on the left hand side or make the steps in the sky more distinguished. The recovery system requires you to tap in order to regain control, but after you tap it feels like it requires additional taps in order to get your contraption to work..Version: 1.2.3

✓ Contraptions upgrade issueSo after the latest update all of my contraptions — except the fidget spinner which is the only one I had upgraded after the previous fiasco with the contraptions screen — have gone back to level 1, regardless of the fact that all of them except were at the level of my rank when I bought them, e.g the saxophone which is 5th on my list was at level 5 when I bought it and is now on level 1. I also had to spend a great deal of hard earned candies upgrading the fidget spinner back up after prior upgrade fiasco, which I was going to overlook until this latest issue. Ive also noticed the bonuses have been dramatically dropped, a level 15 contraption used to have 170% bonus on candies and since the latest upgrade, it’s only 70%. All the “buddies” have similarly had their bonuses dropped. Considering how difficult it is to get candy in game and currently being at level 15 all remaining contractions cost around 41,000 candies which equates to around £84. Is there anyone who’s going to be forking out £84 for one single contraption? I mean, seriously, try and be at least a little realistic here, especially considering you’ve screwed the accounts/data of pretty much everyone that’s downloaded the game! It’s a shame as this would be quite a good game otherwise. 😓.Version: 1.1.9

✓ Really really really annoyedI was ready to give this 5 stars. I played it at EGX yesterday, got one of the highest scores and loved it and got the game as soon as I got home and recommended to my friends and they got it and we all played. I got to about level 11 and even paid for the double sweets machine and 500 sweets I liked it that much. I go to play it today and it has all my data saying my best runs and best scores etc yet it's started me at level 1 again and I can't access any of the contraptions I unlocked and I have 0 sweets (which I paid money for). This is not on. You've essentially taken my money for nothing. I either want it back or sort the game out so I can access my account as I left it yesterday! Update- Game is still not sorted despite emailing support. Nothing unlocks for me despite being a high enough level, cant buy anything can’t use the stuff that I paid money for. The red bubbles filling up the experience bar are cute the first 3 times after that it’s totally annoying. I get it you guys made a cute animation. Can you kill that or give us a fast forward. ✓ Exceptional Game, with some exceptionsIn all honesty, I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game. Awesome for wasting free time, and didn’t push you through a pay wall to continue to have fun. When trying to click “fly”, the glider and planes on the race screen would ghost and duplicate and not actually load into the game. ✓ Once great game ruined by developer greed.I like many grabbed this game when it was featured as the game of the day and back then it was fun. At th time I did feel like the rate at which you aquired sweets (the in-game currency) seemed a bit high, but I enjoyed it and even purchased some sweets from the store as a way to top the developer. Sadly since then the developer seems to have realised their 'mistake' changing the game in a way that removes the previously relaxed nature of the game and makes it more of a grind - pushing you to the in-game ship for sweets. First patch reduced the rate you earned sweets in-game (exoected, but the reduction was maybe a bit too far) and since then their appears to have been another patch that makes it so taking damages reduces the sweets you get. This now means that a single play of the game that would have once earned you 250+ sweets can now end with you sadly not having earned a single sweet..Version: 1.1.8

Of course when they make sure you crash after a few seconds you get to go again if you watch an ad. ✓ BuggyThe game itself is great but buggy af. When flying the saxophone, music enables despite I switched it off in settings; and the most annoying thing is that you get interrupted with an error message from time to time, and it steals the focus. I think this is because I use custom DNS which enforces parental control and blocks ads. Adjust that error message prompt please..Version: 1.2.2

✓ Glitches real bad...I loved the look of this game and for like the tutorial, it was super fun! i loved it so much! although, when i reached level 2 and the new gameplay mode because available, every time i tap the screen, it loops, another layer of the same animation adds each time i tap anywhere on the screen, and it gets to the point where instead of you seeing the little take-off area in the background of the game mode option screen, it adds on layers so many times that the whole thing starts to get darker and darker to the point where everything is black!! i have deleted it and re-installed it and the same issue happened, is this a recent bug? or is my phone just not coping with the software? it’s an iphone 11 so it should be fine but i really need help on this haha.Version: 2.2.1
✓ Good startThis is a fun game. It's fun to play and great to look at. I just have 2 issues with it : - I feel like the various items you can acquire should have more informative descriptions. What they do is often unclear. - The mechanic of punishing the player is a bit too harsh considering some crashes are almost impossible to avoid. I like the idea of giving players incentives to focus and play well, but this could be toned down a bit..Version: 1.1.5
✓ Great game but keeps crashingI love this game and the graphics are cute the gameplay is fun but it keeps crashing. I’ve tried relaunching when I crash but it just keeps on crashing at startup, game is great I want to continue playing but I can’t due to it crashing and frames dipping..Version: 1.3.0
