✓ FrustratingGreat game but the challenges are so hard unless your loaded or like to walk miles and miles a Day and even then you won't have enough energy . Take forever to upgrade characters and weapons enough to win battles unless you want to pay.... Even when you try to complete challenges it never comes off your challenge. If you have to kill a certain amount of zombies by granades you'll use all your granades and it still doesn't knock it off the challenge. It also does fun challenges , like the farm, but then doesn't give you farm challenges to do it! Starting to get boring which is a shame..Version: 7.0
✓ Great game & conceptI absolutely love this game, I prefer this concept a lot more than Pokemon Go & other games of similar style. Though there are some issues... you get like 1 flare when you first start out your game, you can’t get anymore from crates, without having to spend any actual real money, and I really enjoy the flare option, meaning you can hop to other locations to see what is on offer. You don’t earn enough coins to counter how much it cost to upgrade a specific card, at first it isn’t so hard but when you’re waiting to save up 700 coins and gain a max of like 30 from a crate or infestation. Currently my server is running slow and I’ve noticed over the past few days I’m constantly reloading and closing the app & restarting it back up. This isn’t a negative review, simply some observations as a player. I think it’s just buggy, like maybe there’s room for some improvement to give it that full impact. But everything above aside this game is very creative in the way it differs from others and offers original touches that make it even better. Would 4/5⭐️ if it wasn’t for what I stated above!.Version: 1.0.1
✓ Proceed with cautionWhen I saw the Abraham and Eugene commercials, I couldn’t resist this game. It provided some low-key fun relaxing and demolishing walkers with squishy sound effects and without having to think too much. Eventually, though, the gameplay gets very repetitious, plus you’re going to find yourself stalled without making in-app purchases. I don’t mind periodically throwing money the developers’ way—that funds new features—but the costs in this game are too high. And then there’s the previous (as of this date) update, which broke parts of the game: After a lot of time, grinding, and putting in real-world money to build up my character and a high-level safe house, it got wiped out, and according to customer service cannot be restored. The only suggestion the rep could make was for me to do it all again. I sympathize that they can’t fix it. But I’m out, with the regret that the last thing I did before the wipeout was to give them a bunch of money for gold to upgrade that vanished safe house..Version: 4.1.0
✓ Do not trust the DevsMy entire team where locked out from the challenge board for an entire week causing us to drop two tiers. We were promised compensation and after 3 months of constantly following them up they never delivered. We all ended up quitting on the game. ✓ Great game when it worksHad this game years ago, but left as I got bored of TWD around season6 . Idea of the game is great. Particularly like the idea of the AR zombies around my city while I hunt them down . Imagine my disappointment then to rejoin and be greeted by a blank map …. For some reason the location services on my iPhone are not allowing the game to function. I wrote to the help in game and got told talk to google maps if there isn’t much to do. Something of a joke given my google maps on my phone works fine. I see from the company’s site others have the same issue . But no fix is apparent . The game just does not show up in settings /location sharing . Other apps do not this one Perhaps it’s just returning old players . So if you can get it to work it’s fun. Unfortunately if you have an issue they aren’t super helpful.Version: 17.0
✓ Fun game but a money grab aimed at whalesThey get an extra star because the game is fun. But what could be an amazing GPS based AR game is crippled by time gates and p2w. GPS AR games are meant for you to walk around, explore, and play. They completely handicap this game by allotting “energy” which you need to attack. Attacks use 1-5 energy to perform and it regenerates at a rate of 1 every 5 minutes. This means that you could play for 10 minutes and have to wait for THREE HOURS for your energy to completely regenerate. Imagine if PoGo did this. Probably wouldn’t have made a billion dollars. The in game store is a bit ridiculous too with card packs and gold packs ranging anywhere from $5-$100. The packs which drop legendary cards are the most expensive. Flares, used to call teammates to a location, are essential to team game play and cost ~$2 each in the store and have ridiculously low drop rates in game. If the game crashes during a flare or in the middle of an attack you lose he resources and basically SOL. Game mechanics and the store aside. The game is currently experiencing numerous game breaking bugs including extended mass server outages, random unexplained demotion in weekly group progression rankings, extreme lag, client crashes, etc. Heck, they can’t even fix the annoying permanent alert badge on the game icon. If you decide to play beware of these issues and I’d be hesitant to spend real world $ on the game until many if not all of these issues are addressed..Version: 1.2.1
✓ Loved it but deleted itI loved this game and merrily shot the zombies, however there are issues. As you get stronger, the coin making infestations become ludicrously hard and are impossible without grenades regardless of weapon / hero combination and the grenades seem really scare unlike batteries! You can’t buy grenades using coins which would be REALLY useful you only get them from crates but as I said, I keep getting batteries. Building has annoyed me as there are lots of buildings close to each other UNLESS I want to build then it won’t let me as there’s something too close. Didn’t seem to stop others. Fix the balance issues and let me know, then I’ll return but sick of going into a low level infestation (low, low, VERY HIGH) and getting wiped out as I have no grenades!.Version: 1.1.1
✓ Fun to begin with!This game was so fun to begin with and I still do enjoy it now however I have found that since hitting level 9 I’m struggling to progress in anyway, the coins you earn are just not enough to keep your character guns and perks upgraded enough to complete the missions especially as the hardness of the levels continue to go up but there’s not enough coins to level the characters up, I love the fact I can speak to the rest of my group and I love the challenges but the fact I can only complete a few missions because of the lack of coins and rewards is really letting it down for me.Version: 7.0
✓ Better gaming experienceI also had ideas “123boy777” stated. More interactive play (more sightings) to battle. Lesson the amount of drop offs needed to update something! The gold needed is already too high! Allow friends to assist with battles. Allow us to see them if they’re in close proximity or on your roster. Weapons strength during high or very high battles are inadequate against walkers (roamers, ferrals, etc.). Have a button or option to press for help within an infestation or fighting walkers or raiders. The AI’s helps is ineffective at times. Also make it so that you can roam further than just a couple inches within a block. Provide the ability to change or delete warehouses. Make it possible to add warehouses within close proximity. Being able to use more than one gun or switch within an infestation or walker battle not a raiders battle. Reload time is horrible weapons power is useless against zombies they’re meant for. It’s crazy being able to fight an encounter far away yet not be able to select a cache or warehouse or place a warehouse in the vicinity!.Version: 2.0.1
✓ Actually like the game, but...Beginning to hate it. First, you actually get penalized for spending money on the game. If you buy energy, you’re not allowed to pick any up that you find (same goes for all power-ups). Secondly, there are sooooo many glitches; they try to appease you by giving random free-bees to make up for them (pretty often actually), but it doesn’t make up for what you’ve wasted. Then, they keep “playing” with the settings; one day everything is easy-peasey, next you have trouble doing anything...consistency makes a game “understandable” or “fair”, if you will, inconsistency makes you want to quit and walk away, at least it does me... *****Update***** This was fun, still is if you want game-play controlled by the developers, not you. They constantly manipulate the controls so that what you need is hard to find. Once you meet their goal, what was hard to find is EVERYWHERE. You’ll see what I mean. I played for a long time tolerating it, but things are frustrating enough these days, I don’t want my games to make things worse. ✓ Too long a down time!!!I was enjoying this game a lot. We had 4 level 4-7 holdings built invested hours of time playing only to lose EVERYTHING when the game was down for days. Now I am seriously disappointed and unwilling to start over again when I may lose all my shelters, warehouses, armories, and trading posts because of the developers. ✓ Change of OpinionThis is my second time reviewing TWD Our World. My first review have the game 5 stars, and I commented that I had not experienced any of the bugs or issues that so many others had been complaining of. It’s only been a couple of weeks since I wrote it, and now I’m thinking I jinxed the game on my devices. As of late, I am constantly dealing with glitches, freezes, and connection issues, like multiple times per day, and even sometimes per hour. I play on both an IPad 5th gen, an iPhone 11, and iPhone 7. All devices are fully up to date, and have plenty of free memory. The problems occur across all 3 devices, so it’s not an issue with the devices themselves. My internet connection speed is good, wifi connection is not bogged down or overburdened with other connections or streaming, and router has been reset. It’s not a problem with how it’s configured either, as the game had been working flawlessly over my WiFi until just recently. The problems persist when I’m using cellular data as well. Considering all of the above, I think it’s safe to say it’s not a hardware problem on my end, so I can only surmise it must be a software issue with the game. Anyway, I still love this game, but I could love it more if I didn’t have to keep dealing with all the problems it’s having..Version: 9.0.6

✓ Loses appealIn game - the main challenge is to progress a series of ‘boards’ by completing a range of missions. These are all based around a quota system wherein you reach the quota for, say, a class of walkers killed with a particular character backing you up. However, the games algorithm begins excluding elements of the game if you need them to complete a mission and the weekly challenge is nearly finished. The result is a disproportionate experience relative to what you need at a given time. This only happens when you are close to finishing a mission and there is not much time left. It leaves a sour taste and is a bit too cheeky for me to maintain an enthusiasm for the game..Version: 5.0.0

✓ Bad customer service and mis leading purchasesProtect yourself TURN OFF IN-GAME PURCHASES!!! This review is for TWD Our World customer service. At first you will believe they are well written and polite however at closer look you will notice they copy and paste very generic apologetic brush offs. I have spent an insane amount of money on in game purchases. By most part the cash purchases are legit. Although the percentages are not accurate. My biggest frustration with the company is the poor layout of special purchases and the Re-utilization of icons to sell other stuff coupled with a shady format of in game gold purchases adjacent to cash payments. If your kids play this i highly recommend turning off in-game purchases to avoid a mistake. The customer service personnel WILL NOT pay you back or pay the difference. The only authority they have is to shallowly apologize for the mix up and tell you they will forward you concern to the programing team. It pains me to put one star because, I enjoy the game still. Even though there are many crash glitches, roll backs, loss of resources during roll backs and the customer service is deeply buried..Version: 1.2.3
✓ Great premise but not sure about its futureThe game has a really solid concept- walk around, shoot zombies, rescue people. But after playing it for three weeks... that’s it. There’s nothing else to do and it has grown stale for me. As this games challenges require active members we are struggling to hold our weekly challenge tier. ✓ Paywall is worse than Mexican border..Ok, first of all, this game is a great concept. Enemies are well-balanced, AI actually does work, and shooting is solid. But there’s just too many obstacles to enjoy the game. I’ve played this game for a bit and have it a chance. Everything revolves around coins, but it’s gonna cost you to get decent upgrades. There’s also gold bars which is the paid currency, which is used to get boosts, card packs, extra characters, etc. That’s cool but it feels like it’s almost forced if you want to get the good stuff. You wanna hold more coins/weapons? You gotta buy them. Then there’s this handicap in-game called energy, which will cost you to use to fight. You can only play for so long until you have to either wait to regenerate energy (which takes awhile) or you could do what they want you to do and spend money for more. So essentially you gotta pay to pay to play (yes.. I said that right). This game has great potential to be successful but not like that. They need to look at another similar game *cough* PoGo *cough* and take notes and focus on the fundamentals..Version: 2.1.1

✓ This game is really a walking dead.If you’re reading this to find some sort of perspective if this game is worth downloading or not, then you have come to the right place. I have playing this game for two months and I enjoyed it. But this game is already dead. Promises of certain updates are not met EVERY GOD DAM UPDATE. The game is now completely boring because of the lack of actual new features. All you literally do in this game is go around zombies. There are no goals except for the clan board challenges where all cheaters benefit from. At the moment this game is right below where Pokemon Go is located. Both game at this moment is trash. It even shows in the numbers of players of this app. There are 7k+ players in this game but that doesn’t include the players who have already forgotten or deleted this app already. I WOULD NOT bother down loading this game. Wait till it actually is playable with more contents. Two stars because its fun. ✓ Time-Gating GaloreYou should have taken a leaf out of Pokémon Go’s book. Unfortunately with the energy and time restraints you’ve put in the game, there’s not a lot of playing you can actually do. After 4 infestations you have to either wait around for your energy to come back, one point every five minutes (which is ridiculous in itself), or buy energy with real world money in order to continue. It’s a huge buzzkill. This kind of thing really goes against the core of what real-world exploration games are supposed to be. Yes, I can clear out infestations by my house but then they don’t show up again for another eight hours and infestations are the only consistent way to get upgrade currency in the game, so by putting huge, unskippable time blocks on local infestations, you are again, being corralled into just shelling out real money in order to continue and skip a different kind of wait timer. LiterallySince the most recent update, whenever I open the game, and after you click the ‘I won’t walk into traffic’ button, it jumps straight to the challenges screen, and bugs out. ✓ Getting over itWhile the game itself is well thought out I’m rapidly getting over the game dropping out because it’s having problems connecting to its servers. I’m using high speed internet at home and full service 4G while outside and it drops out everywhere. I’ve missed out of some good items because halfway through a fight or just after finishing one the error message comes up saying it has to reload because of server issues. Basically your typical tap n’ shoot game, but I makes you walk.I was drawn to this due to the fact I believed it to be as advertised in the ad— something more along the lines of Pokémon GO! in that it superimposed in-game animations into the real world. I will say that it would be much more difficult to animate a bunch of moving zombies rather than a stationary Pokémon, but when I had my first encounter and realized it was just a narrow allyway of barely varying background and just a bunch of zombies that walk toward you. You just tap at their heads, and that comprises 95% of the game aside from walking and your typical rudimentary card system. I played until level 7, and even after fighting “Epic Infestations”, it became incredibly easy and boring. If you can touch a little head on a screen, you can play this game. I did enjoy the walking aspect, though the distances and GPS need a lot of work, but after walking 100 feet just to tap the screen a handful of times in the same setting nearly every time, it didn’t seem worth it. Interesting idea, and it has a lot of potential, but it’s just not that enjoyable, and wouldn’t be even if you were sitting. I did meet my daily steps easily though..Version: 1.0.1
✓ Needs some changes.Time gates and money walls will, I think, kill this game pretty quickly. Other games manage to make millions with purely cosmetic shops but for some reason the developers chose a pay to win model for this game? The game also needs optimised for iPad as it looks terrible. Getting to lvl 5 is quite hard but progress after lvl 5 seems almost non existent. ✓ Makes EA look ethicalI’ve been playing this for 2 or 3 weeks, am level 10 and up to the silver-tier challenges so I’ve put the hours in. Whilst it starts as fun and difficult challenges it aggressively ramps up the difficulty around lvl 10 to try force you to buy the “micro transactions”. I don’t mind little purchases here and there to support a game and its developers but asking £50 to buy a character card is insane. 3 or 4 character cards together is the same price as my Xbox one was with 2 bundled games. ✓ Was a great game but they fixed it for pay to winThis game has become completely unethical and greedy. The last few events could not be “won” without spending a lot of money. And they made sure of that. I play at least 12 times a day and travel while playing and during events I go multiple days without a event infestation or event to play. DAYS!!! They make it to where you can’t win without paying a lot of money. I even bought the “Bike” and didn’t even come close to any rewards because there was simply so event items to play. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! THEY ARE LITERALLY STEALING AND DONT CARE! They have ruined an awesome game and concept. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! Update: it has gotten worse. The events and prizes cannot be won without spending money. How in a 4 day event you only get one mission maybe two pop up? 4 days!?!. I’m really sad because this is a great game but there is no longer any point in playing. I have spent money and have no problem supporting a game I like, but you can’t make it to were you have to pay because enough opportunities are purposefully not given so you have no choice if you want to win the events. ✓ Slightly fixedThis game is okay and joining a team to work on missions is really what makes it. The only real issue for me is how fixed it is when I comes to the missions. If your main missions is to take down heavy walkers, all that will show up near you are slim/armoured walkers, if your mission is to complete rescues, all you’ll get is encounters... it’s really transparent and frustrating. There are next to no rewards for just being an active player, you have to rely on lucky card prizes and your teammates being as active as you are. So it’s a total grind to get anything done at times. It’s very much geared towards trying to get people to spend real-world money..Version: 11.0
✓ TWD Our WorldBrief but simple breakdown. Game is pretty good, although can be repetitive especially with the team mission boards. Some of the mission numbers seem very inflated and really a mechanism for people to spend money for energy/cards/compasses I like this game, but to achieve anything you need to spend money and the game continually flashes offers of pay for packs whilst gaming. ✓ Great concept but needs some work!Good fun and great use of google maps for gameplay but if you’re stuck at work or wherever and can’t move then it’s pointless playing really! Game devs should add missions for those of us who are stuck at work all day and want to have some walking dead fun on their break. ✓ Too many glitches & support won’t compensateI waited for months to do this review because I wanted to get all the feel for the game I could before doing so. First let me say I absolutely love this game and I have the best team possible. We are very loyal and spend hard earned money and tons of time to advance in the game. We have ran into so many glitches it’s unreal. I have sent support so many messages and they always answer but they’re not very helpful when it comes to being fair. My whole team was trying to finish a board but due to all the glitches we all faced, we couldn’t finish near as fast. I sent support a message asking if they could compensate us for all the resources we had lost (that we bought with real money) due to all the glitches but was told “sorry they would work on the glitches”. I wasn’t trying to get anything for free, I simply wanted to be compensated for all we had lost but that never happened. I even sent screenshots to show them but that didn’t matter. It’s not fair nor is it right for us to spend real money (some of us over $100) and to lose half of our resources due to their errors. Honestly we have all talked about leaving this game and finding another that would be more understanding and supportive instead of greedy..Version: 7.1.2
✓ Do not download!!!!!In the beginning the game was fun, since I started with a friend. However, the gps isn’t very accurate, so you will have to move a lot more to get objectives to play. Also, if you do have an issue and report it to their customer service THEY WILL DO NOTHING TO CORRECT THE ISSUE! I had an issue contacted customer support they asked for a picture, which I didn’t take during the initial issue, then I had the same issue again, I took a screenshot video, contacted customer support again, and their reply was exactly the same. This game is definitely not free either. Like many games in-app purchases are how these games make money, but if you have an issue with something you purchase don’t expect it to work properly, or for customer support to help you in any way. You’ll get the same generic response for any issue. First an automated response, then someone saying that it must be an issue with poor connectivity to their servers, there’s nothing they can do, and finally that they forwarded your complaint to the development team, which ends the conversation..Version: 7.3

✓ You know what they say location, location, location.I have enjoyed playing this game since downloading it ,however, it has not been something that happened often, not because I don’t want to play but because nothing is happening for me to play it. If you live in a rural area as I unfortunately do and have a lot of property you will be lucky to find a couple of crates, maybe a survivor or 2 (that is if you lucky) and as for raiders, I had to drive to a subdivision about 5 minuets away for the first one I have played. Using your actual location is an interesting concept and I have enjoyed playing whenever I was lucky enough to find something, but it also makes it more difficult for anyone who is not living in a decently populated area, which I guess is what makes it have this interesting realism. Since living in the middle of nowhere is my problem and nothing really to do with the game my only complaint is I have already noticed that the amount of coins you receive for missions is very low and I could see this becoming another one of those games that you have to spend a decent amount of money or leveling up will be extremely difficult..Version: 1.0.1

✓ Needs improvementI love playing this game and have managed to level up to 8, it does lag and is a little glitchy but I could deal with that. What I can’t deal with is how hard it is to come across cards to upgrade your stuff. After a little while it becomes harder to fight the bigger infestations. I appreciate the different types of zombies and even the difficulty of it but if I can’t upgrade my weapons or my people, I don’t have a fair chance and I don’t want to play the game anymore. It’s also hard to collect coins, so t just all in all feels like the game is going to just get harder unless you PAY. Early in its development the game suffered from numerous bugs, almost of which have been fixed. However there are many serious game design flaws. The single-player experience is terrible and over in 10 minutes. You *MUST* be on a team to make any progress or have any enjoyment in this game. At this point in the game’s life it is heavily skewed towards those players actively playing a year or more. Many day one players are leaving from burn out or reaching level caps. I would NOT recommend new players to this game. I have found many remaining players to be friendly and dedicated. It’s the only reason I still play, otherwise I would have stopped a year ago. ✓ Used to be good but now it’s laggingWhen I first started to play this game it was really good. Something to do when I’m out and about. But lately it just keeps messing up. Keeps freezing and shutting down and then when I reopen the app I’ve lost my survivors or rewards but the battle isn’t there to complete again. Keeps saying problems connecting to the server. Because u have to use blue weapon to finish those quests. You could be a level 15 and out of all the opportunities you have maybe half of them are out of reach because of the difficulty. On top of that , you could breeze through the first two parts or rounds of an infestation and after that they are super hard. You waste grenades and your heroes like water. Leveling requires coins which are not the fastest to acquire unless you decide to buy a coin package which is costly. Free to plays should play more to the point of a cost of a base game. They sell packages but they have some packages which offer random outcone of items not knowing what you can get within the options that they give you. ✓ Great gameI love this game. No doubt amazing. In the last week I have spent over 60 dollars in the store and I am not a big spender on games. This is by far the most I have on any game ever. Without spending game would have been just as fun so don’t think you have to spend for this game to be amazing. If I spend 60 dollars on your game I don’t want to have to search for crates with energy when I payed to play a great game. ✓ Fun for a whileThe beginning of this game was fun and an interesting take on the pokemon go style of mobile game, however the more you play the more the cracks begin to show. The levelling is painfully slow and tied to levelling up your cards, to begin with you get a steady flow of new ones so levelling up isn’t to slow to begin with. But as you get further in the amount of cards and the rarity at which you get them begins to slow dramatically leaving you fighting the same level infestations for very little reward. Every once in a while a legendary infestation will pop up but due to the lack of levels on your cards they become very difficult to points where I even had to purchase Granada’s in order to finish them. I suggest waiting until something is done about the card system, however until then I can’t really recommend this game in its current state. What caught my attention from the ad was the "AR" feature. I thought, “what the heck, let’s give it a try.” So I go to the app store, and find the game and immediately The Walking Dead: Our World, made with Google Maps. A little alarm went off but we’ll get to that later. So I download and start playing. Let’s talk about gameplay. First off, the AR feature is almost unplayable. It’s garbage. No further description needed. Second, you need walk around to find spawn points for the missions. They are easily found because they are indicated by a light shining up from the ground, but you have to be in range of the spawn point to open mission(part of the little alarm). Finally, once you open the mission you shoot the walkers with your chosen weapon and with the help of your chosen hero. Weapons and hero’s and perks can be upgraded. But the actual game play is very repetitive and predictable. It’s actually quite boring. So let’s get to the alarm. Come on people! This is quite literally a tracker for google to learn your travel habits! And the best part is people will actually pay for this via the in app purchases. So move along sheep, nothing to see hear. ✓ DecentPretty good game when you first start playing. It has a really good concept behind it and it seems like everything is fine and dandy, but there are a few things that can be reworked. First off, I feel as if I’m not getting enough from this game. I’m finding that I can’t upgrade the things I need to in order to complete raider attacks, higher level infestation, etc. I find myself buying more money than packages with my special currency and it just seems kinda unfair. I feel like their should be more variety to this game as well, along with a rework of the AI. A character can be attacked by a walker for one second and have to recover for over an hour? It’s fun, but some of the challenges are bugged or they’re so hard that nobody finishes them. Just now, I was supposed to drop off 12 survivors at Trading Posts. I had already dropped off 5 and was going to drop off 9 more. Last I checked, 9+5 does not equal 5. I didn’t get credit for those last 9. Anyway, here and there you won’t get credit for headshots or dropping off survivors, etc. Also, some of the challenges are unrealistic for the time frame unless you get someone to drive you around the city for a while. ✓ Nice game, shame about the bugs...I’ve been playing this game for awhile and everything was fine until it came time to upgrade my pistol with mods. I used the token provided and modded my pistol. This is where everything has gone wrong. Upon logging back into the game, it asked me to repeat the process. I thought I may have been booted off the server before it had a chance to save my changes. When I repeated the mod process I got an error message and was returned to the home screen. The problem is now I can’t do anything because it keeps asking me to repeat the process and it always ends with the same result. The error message. Now I am left with a game I cannot play until the game is patched and the bug rectified. I understand that there are always small problems that are incurred when you roll out new software but more time spent in testing and debugging would be nice. I have not been able to play for several days and I had just purchased a level up pack. Kind of wished I hadn’t now. There is a lesson here for app and game developers. Intentionally used math paradox, I have to gain 130k of points where doing one task or upgrading cards gives you 800points. I would have to do 10 tasks to get 8k points ;) 100 tasks to get 80k. I spend few ££ but after a while you notice glitches in game and no one cares to fix them if you still paying. I don’t report it to developer anymore because they just coming up with excuses. I build two buildings at same time, you have to level them up otherwise they are time limited. Today one of them is gone, so the whole effort to maximise building, time spend to level it up is gone and money are gone. Just image that same situation in real store? ✓ Get ready to PAY.After several weeks of playing this game as much as I can, I have come to a few realizations. First off, when I saying playing as much as I can does not mean I don’t have the time. I could easily play this game for hours at a time. But, for some mind boggling reason, they have saddled the game with needing Energy. Why? I AM the energy in an AR location based game. This is for the sole reason of making you pay to play. The family and I do after dinner walks and half of us end up back on Pokémon because we’re out of energy on this one. NOT a way to keep people playing. The other issue is similar but with the in game coins. Again, you can grind all day (assuming you have the Energy!), and you will NEVER make enough coins to even update the cards that matter, much less any of the others. This is done so that, you guessed it, you HAVE to pay for coins. I love the game. I really do. Otherwise I wouldn’t sink as much time as it can into it. It just feels a little predatory for me to put in so much time only to be FORCED to pay. It’s one thing for a developer to OFFER in game purchases. It’s another thing altogether when you FORCE me to. The player base is already dying out locally because of this. If things don’t change, this thing will be deader than a walker a month from now... Eg how about rewarding exercise? Award one experience per step and you level heroes by spending exp? Right now you are limited by your in game energy instead and to get more energy you need to wait around doing nothing for ages or pay for more - which makes it almost pointless as a augmented reality app. It’s also buggy. Right now part of our groups challenge is to build 2 warehouses and deliver survivors to them - which we did but now the warehouses disappeared within minutes of making them ....Version: 1.0.1
✓ Good Game, slow progression.I really Enjoy this game, immersive, very easy to pick up, lots of chance for upgrades but as is usual for apps these days progression is practically almost like your the walking dead... unless you pay for it. I bought a cheap package to see what i got and i managed to upgrade a couple of my weapons and companions and then it was back to the grind. Only way to get coins it seems is from infestations and they are few and far between and low on coins anyway. I will keep playing but wont spend anymore real money and if i cannot progress it will just become another dead game for me..Version: 1.0.1
✓ Too many bugsGame crashes randomly, even when I have it just sitting open on the chat. The background music is bugged, because it will play both background "songs at the same time, which is irritating. They recently added somewhat of a tutorial for new players, but all it tells you is where to shoot the walkers, but doesn't explain the card system etc. Items are very costly in the shop, plus the fact that only just recently released a "daily reward" type system, when the games been out for a very good while now. Sometimes when viewing the map there will be missions that are in range but disappear after a few seconds. They've updated this game several times, but overlook the most common bugs with the game. That chat functionality us weak, one small text field bar with no way to copy other messages from other players, abd sometimes hitting send after typing on a chat crashes the game. So many small things they could fix, but never bother to do so. That's what happens when developers are blinded by corporate money figures, and ignore their fan base..Version: 9.0.5
✓ Money Grab DO NOT GET SUCKED INThe game is like most others. Entertaining and easy at first. I put a substantial investment into it in the hopes of overcoming the initial resistance point and being able to just play. Not in this lifetime. The game puts a cap on everything making it impossible to grind credits, grenades etc. You must pay to overcome the cap or the resources you collect just disappear as the game says “full”. The only way to level is to level your cards for xp which carries a credit cost . As you eventually get the cards necessary to level an item, at a maddeningly slow pace, you will reach a point at which your credit cap is not high enough to pay the level up cost. You guessed it. You must pay to get enough credits. This means your team/weapons will remain at a power level which traps you at fights of a certain level, and ultimately traps you at that point in the game. You must pay to advance. Super disappointed. Do not play this game unless you want to spend money..Version: 15.0
✓ How do I fix it!!!Love this game but I have built three safe houses and none of them are showing on my map. I have tried via 4g, reloading the game. Deleting and starting again. Nothing has worked. Please let me know how to get this fixed ASAP. Or i will have to delete.Version: 5.1.0
