✓ Does not seem to work without notificationsI was very excited to try this app, but I could not get it to work. Every time I clicked on a recipe I got the “enable notification” window. Once the window appeared, I could no longer read the recipe nor get out of it. There was no way to exit out the window. I had to totally close the app and reopen. I tried many different recipes and got the same thing. As I do not wish to have notifications, I finally just canceled the subscription and deleted it from my phone. Very disappointing..Version: 3.01
✓ Con!Free to download, pay to use. You download the app for free, create an account then before you can use the app you have to subscribe for £8.99 a month before you can actually use it!! Yes the Ts&Cs say you can cancel at any time but they also say any unused portion of the monthly subscription is forfeit, so if you only use it for 60seconds you lose your first month’s subscription. Deleted..Version: 2.0
✓ Very disappointedThis app is very hard to understand which is why I wanted to cancel from day one of signing up for the seven day trial. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to cancel because there is absolutely no where I could click on that would give me the option to cancel. So here we are on the last day of this seven day trial and I will be charged because I have no idea how to cancel out of this app. The only reason I even gave one star was to be able to leave this comment about how incredibly aggravated I have been for the past week over this. ✓ ProblemI downloaded the application and not a minute into looking at the app I am getting a pop up to rate the application! I see an omelet recipe requires a subscription. I am not going to bother with the application any further. Deleting after continuing rate the application pop ups! Frustrating. 9/7 I get an update from the developer team that reads kinda snarky. I wish you nothing but good luck. I will not be using the application, I can find free recipes online. Thank you!.Version: 2.7.1
✓ Absolute misleading garbage!If you know anything about nutrition you will delete this utterly misleading app within the first 5 minutes after installing it. This review is meant for the rest who, for lack of better knowledge, might take the “keto recipes” presented here as valid. ✓ $$$I really wish these apps would say upfront...not AFTER you fill everything else out...that there’s a monthly subscription fee. It appears to be free until you get to the very end. I’m at an unhealthy weight and simply can’t afford another bill. It’s enough of a budget changer to eat better...we all know the cheaper stuff is filled with carbs. ✓ Forced notifications, pop ups you cannot dismissUpdate: looks like original issue is fixed but I see no keto plan. This just looks like a glorified recipe app and there aren’t very many. I don’t see how anyone would live on this for any amount of time. I wanted to give it a try but I couldn’t even look at a meal because it want to take over your iPad and send you notifications on everything! There is no way to dismiss it to just look at what the app offers! You cannot get around the pop ups asking you to pay $10 a month or the notifications. ✓ This app does not follow the real diet! DO NOT USEI have Celiac Disease which means I cannot eat gluten. The Keto diet is great for me and my family because it is grain free, gluten free without asking me to eat any over processed “fake” foods. The first option this app gave me was a hot dog on a low carb bun! Yuck! 🤢 Not only can I not eat that but before I was diagnosed I avoided that over processed garbage! ✓ So farI have yet to be able to have a good look at this site. A recipe popped up but then right away a box popped up over it to tell me new recipes were coming and a request to approve notifications when these new recipes came out. There is no option to disallow notifications and no “x” in the top right to close that window. In order to check out the website I have to allow notifications? WTH? And in your description before downloading the app you specify a price of $9.99/month. Not so, according to what also popped up prior to looking for a recipe. The cost was noted as $13.49 PER WEEK. ✓ Syncing across devices and $$$$$$Once I loaded the app I was really impressed with the images and recipes. It’s easy to navigate through and the videos are a great help. I decided to look at the app on my iPad only now I have to register again and signup for the first week free and use my CC again!! Plus the $amount$ to pay for the app is not the same as in the info listed on the App Store information. There’s no “help” or contact info listed. They are on FB. ✓ Recipes are terribleI’ve only viewed a few recipes, but already I can tell that they’re poorly written. The directions don’t match the food items. For example, there was a tomato soup and the directions just said to put the ingredients into the blender until heated through- I don’t know about you, but my blender doesn’t have a heating element. They say you can try it for a week for free but you have to give Apple permission to charge you after the week and I’m not even sure how to cancel my subscription so I’m not gonna bother. ✓ Keto diet appAppalling! I downloaded the free trial, realized it was just a list of recipes, and not what I wanted. I have been trying ever since to cancel it before the weeks trial was up, have contacted the app support and finally iTunes support. iTunes support were not able to find it and cancel it, there was no response from the app support and I have just been billed. ✓ Charges you without your approvalThey do NOT tell you that this app will charge you as soon as you download it. Nowhere does it say that there is a fee to just download it. When you enter your PIN or Touch ID to approve the download, it charges you, doesn’t say how much, just that payment was received. As a matter of fact, they respond to reviews saying it is free to use (which is sneaky because the charge is to download). What a bunch of thieving lowlifes. I’ll be calling my bank to rescind payment and report them for fraud..Version: 3.01

✓ Good concept, needs workThe recipes looked simple, good and easy to follow. I liked the add to shopping list function. However, I cancelled the subscription and deleted the app within 15 minutes. ✓ All recipesI need recipes for 1-2 people, not 6. (Cream cheese pancakes with berries) Never break eggs into mixture, break into their own bowl first. I had a rotten egg just one month ago & if I hadn’t followed my own advice my meal would have been ruined! (Scrambled eggs with tomato, ham, tomatoes) Picture shows this omelet resting on a green mixture but it is not mentioned. Is it basil pesto. Need nutrient count. (Breakfast muffins) Servings shows 6 but there are but picture shows 7 on plate So far I have looked at only 4 recipes and I see errors in them all. They are banking on users to forget to cancel since Apple doesn’t make it easy to cancel subscription. You’ll have to spend precious time on the phone waiting for them to pick up. I just downloaded and have nowhere to manage my account or subscription. Can’t find them. So I went to app support, basically a cheering section linked to Facebook- should have guessed as much. If your app is so great - why do you make it impossible to stop the renewal?
