But, when I’ve noticed the lives countdown is less than half a minute away from generating a new life, I’ll wait so that I can have one more go, but when it gets to 0 it doesn’t give you another life, I feel this has cheated me out of a fair few lives and it puts me off wanting to come back to it..Version: 1.28.0
✓ Fun until you actually start playingIts fun for like the first 100 levels or so, but as you get into it you literally have to use boosters for everything. There’s a difference between challenging and intentionally making it impossible. I’ve been given the same bubbles 10 times in a row, or you will be given 15 bubbles in a row that are completely useless. Endless was great because you can at least get free boosters to help you when the game becomes impossible so you can actually pass levels, but they just ruined that with there last update. Used to be able to clear like 250 lines with a decent amount of difficulty, but feel good about it because you at least got some stuff to help you with the regular game, but they really want you to spend money in this game. And the stuff to spend money on is really, really expensive. It’s a shame how easily a fun game can be ruined by the developers..Version: 1.22.1

✓ Too many adsWe’ll see if the developer will actually let this review appear. I’ve written it two other times and they censor it. I used to love this game. But something changed. Now the number of hours has sucked all the fun out of it. I just sat down to play after not playing for a long time because of the ads. I’ve spent more time watching ads than game play. I played one level and passed it. On the next level I chose to watch a 25+ second ad to get a bonus. I was thinking maybe if I voluntarily watched an ad I’d get less ads forced on me. But I was wrong. I finished that level and passed it and had to watch a 10 second ad before I could proceed to the next level. I played that level and completed it and was presented again with another 10 second ad. That’s it for me I’m out.Version: 1.26.4

✓ Good but...It is a well made game, however I have an issue with having to wait so long for gate keys. The amount of time that you’re forced to wait is far too long, unless of course you want to spam your Facebook friends with notifications or fork out money to speed the process up. This game is just another cash grab aimed at making you spend money to advance quicker. Also, the aiming mechanic in this game is lagging compared to other similar games. It doesn’t feel at all fluent and at times it can be difficult to make more trickier shots because of this. It just has a heavy feel to it which effects gameplay. I would rate higher, but unless these issues are fixed I won’t be playing this again..Version: 1.13.1

After 2178 levels, the app crashes as soon as I click on this app. Not even 10 minutes of trying to play the game and the battery of my phone is from 90ish% to 23% and it makes my phone really hot. ✓ Cute and very fun but ads are annoying.If the game didn’t have ads all the time and also this mechanic where you have to wait 3 hours to “unlock” a gate. The price point for the in game power ups and currency is also too high for me to justify throwing down some cash for it. I miss the days where you could just plunk down cash up front and then not deal with ads/in game purchases. But alas; its mobile gaming in 2019. That being said, it’s not more unfair than other freemium games... it’s just that freemium models are inherently crappy. Otherwise, simon’s cat is an adorable character and the bubble popping is fun and relaxing (I like to play it while watching movies at the end of the day). The animations are cute and I really like them. If it weren’t for the freemium scheme and the annoying gate thing I’d give it 5/5 stars. ✓ Very cute fun but too expensiveVery cute, challenging game. There are some nasty obstacles. I’ve made it to level 169. Right now I’ve encountered squirrels and they are frustrating. I’m still not sure the most efficient way to get passed the flies. I’m not a gamer. I’ve spent $4 on games to bypass ads, etc. If you win, they give you boosters until you lose and then you’re stuck. The in app purchases are too much! The purchases do not get me what I want. I’d like to be able to buy owl vision forever rather than just getting it for a few levels. 70 coins for 10 bubbles is not a good deal, considering how hard it is to earn or buy coins. ✓ UMBERELLAS!I enjoy this game as a diversion and a way to relax my mind. The o my criticism I have is the absurdly high amount of umbrellas I seem to have built up without being able to use! If you take up special offers, or but the “packages” of items they inevitably include umbrella shields. But only about (as an estimate) 1 in 25 games actually needs these shields. Which leaves me with a stupidly large amount of umbrellas built up, and a stupidly large amount of $$ wasted as a lost investment. So frustrating!.Version: 1.20.1

But I can’t, because in order to progress in this game you have to shill out a *lot* of actual, real world cash, and you get very little in return for what you’re buying. They have ways you can “earn” coins, but it’s such a small amount as to be useless— you can watch an ad and get one coin! The problem is that to buy more balls-which you *will* need— you have to spend seventy coins. Seventy. Not seven, seventy. Scoring seems very unbalanced at times, with many levels being almost impossible *not* to complete with top marks, then suddenly finding a level that requires every boost you have to achieve that third star, before going back to another dozen that you can play with your eyes closed. ✓ $$$$$$$!!!!!!!!Incredibly fun and addicting, but OUTRAGEOUSLY costly to keep playing hot streaks, tournaments, etc. Also, the “watch ad” option fails as often as not & one has to shell out a coin for the bonuses.* No explanation of the flying, shot & multiplier-stealing but possibly coin-giving bird is ever given, to my knowledge, nor of the multiplier system (which is much more obvious, of course). I have spent hundreds of dollars on this game and I have never done that before, so that is a testament to its entertainment & addictive qualities, but why can you offer a membership price, or the line? And there really should be many more ways to EARN coins in app. The piggy bank is also far too small and $4 to open it early is absolutely INSANE. ✓ So many pop ups!I’m rating this game 3 stars - it’s fun and mind numbing after a long day of work, which totally makes it a 5 star game, but the ads that are WAY too long and the 6+ pop ups every time you open the game are just too much. Open the game, choose play (duh, what else would you do???), get to the in screen map and automatically get notified about every time based thing that is going on or has ended and you have to click out of each of those. And maybe a new one has started so you have to click through all of those. Then any in-game ads for booster packs. And don’t forget the request to link to Facebook or the request to send you notifications for game updates (who would make that choice????). Then to play a game you get the option to choose boosters before you see the level. Then the option to get a random one within the start of the level. And then when you’re done an add that could easily be limited to 10-15 seconds. That’s a LOT of extra nonsense that is not actually playing the game and it wears me out. Basically, that is a blatant lie! I have played MANY levels on here where it is simply impossible to beat the level, even with using the power ups. For instance, I just played Level 84, used the Owl Vision, Triple Swap, Umbrella and watched the ad to get extra bubbles. Guess what? Still lost the level and was prompted to spend in fame monies to buy even more power ups. Tell me how that’s not rigged? Especially when I get 6, YES 6!, blue balls in a row when there is no place to play them except on each other!! Also, playing them on each other does NOTHING to advance the game other than waste throws. Bottom line: the game is rigged...and now deleted from my phone! ✓ Brilliant and then boom! Forced social mediaJust another pop game, just with Simon’s cat. Third game I’ve tried of his, third time I get horribly disappointed. I don’t want to give social media access. Was fine, just excessive pop ups are you sure and then level 40... on several timer quests, you need three keys. Either pay up, wait 4 hours per play for key or give us all your info. For shame Simon. Edit. No Technically no one is “forced” go give out social media. It’s just extremely unlikely you will pass these quests without it. Hence you are forced if you want to play the game. ✓ It started off so well...But I’m left very disappointed because once you get to a certain level you have to ask friends for keys to be able to play further levels. Annoying when you don’t have Facebook to do this, or if you don’t like harassing people with notifications just for a stupid imaginary key. 🙄 Fear not they said, there is an option where you can do a level to get a hold of one of these imaginary keys every 4 hours! (You need 3 keys to open the next level so 12 hours of you do it back to back) This is all well and good if you haven’t just earned unlimited lives for a certain amount of hours. You can’t play any levels during that time as you have to wait 4 hours each just to do a level for another key so unlimited lives are also a complete waste of time. You earn them for NOTHING. There is a 3rd option however!!! ✓ Definitely Fun But—This game is fun and well designed. It would be great for kids, teens and even adults when stuck in the car or waiting for an appt. except for one thing. While you do have to buy coins all games require some purchase. However on this one you have to buy playing time. It will freeze for anywhere from 4 minutes to several hours. “The cats are too tired to play” so you use coins to get a few more games. Then it freezes again. Buying extra bubbles is expected but the frequent freezes were very frustrating. Never had a game stop as often as this one. ✓ Purchases DO NOT remove adsI have been playing this game a long time. Several weeks ago it started that when I make purchases the “any purchase removes ads” statement stopped working. I would purchase and then hit the watch ads feature on the game and it would make me watch an ad. When it was finished, it would not give extra “boosts” but instead take me to the ap store to purchase the product of the ad. When you hit done to get out, it basically shuts down the game. And I’ve helped you out in this regard a few times. But what I really can’t figure out is why you really, in the end, don’t want us playing your game. The last time I cleared a gate level, the time to play again was 20 minutes. I came back and it went to over an hour, waited again and now it’s over two hours. The game starts by loading the Simon’s Pass screen….. and that’s it. You cannot move past this screen, nothing is clickable. ✓ Ad free to ad every game…?I used to love this game. It was so relaxing and I liked the ‘Simon’s Cat’ videos so it’s a win win. I’ve been playing for awhile, playing the main game, events and dailies and it’s always been ad free. You can watch ads for boosters which I’m completely okay with and like that choice. Well now all of a sudden I’m getting an ad at the end of every game now. It’s hard to relax and unwind when you have a sudden ad pop up. ✓ Unfair coloursThe game itself is fairly addictive but some of the levels like others have said are considered to be easy but are impossible due to the game deliberately giving you without a lie 20 pink in a row 4 tries over so not allowing you to pass the level with any skill or strategy or even treat boots but having to use multiple game boosts like the multicolour ball to get through the other colours. A bit of luck is considered in these games but these levels make the game no fun to play.Version: 1.15.1
✓ Not fully Colorblind-Friendly, but otherwise great!I've been told the colors are blue, pink, green, and yellow, but l can only distinguish three. I was doing just fine telling them apart by the treats inside and memorizing which animals they correspond to, but I was suddenly introduced to the question bubbles that change color and it's been turturous trying to guess if I can use them in a combo. If the green was darker, more saturated, or if the bubbles' reflection patterns were different, then it would be easy, but as it stands it's impossible to complete many levels. Apart from that glaring color flaw, the levels are cleverly made and the gameplay is smooth and enjoyable. This would be a mainstay game if I had any chance at a fair opportunity..Version: 1.31.0
✓ What developer wants you to stop playing?I saw this on an in-game ad and thought it looked fun and the animations made me laugh. I played for quite a while enjoying the levels until I hit a gate that needs 3 keys. You can play for keys but must wait 4 hours in between plays?! The first one was beaten easily enough, but the second one (after waiting to play it) can’t be beat by me so far. You can buy a key for 70 coins ( which I haven’t earned yet), or connect to Facebook (which I don’t want to do) and ask friends for keys. Starting out the interface was nice and clean but is now cluttered with free gifts, timers, event countdowns and the like. I liked being able to watch an ad to earn extras on some levels, when it works. Half the time the loading wheel spins to select view ad and the button never appears and it just goes into the level. I understand the developers want to make money from the game and to some extent I will spend a little here and there and watch ads when I can, but I haven’t even been at it a full day and I’m hit with pay to continue or wait 8hrs (if you pass the key challenges)..Version: 1.14.0
✓ It’s fun, but...It really is fun, despite being another bubble pop game, it manages to be 10x more entertaining than the average bubble popper. However, it’s incredibly hard to get the currency in this game. I mean, 1 coin for an ad? That’s insane. Honestly, it wouldn’t matter if there wasn’t literal road blocks that require ‘keys’ which you either have to buy, or you have to wait 4 hour intervals to play a incredibly hard level three separate times to ‘earn’ them that’s without a doubt to frustrating you into buying coins with real money. ✓ EnjoyableFun relaxing game just wish they would complete more new levels and a faster pace. When they have the challenges to earn more coins newer users can complete Way more stars than someone up in the 5000 level when they are only releasing 20 levels at a time. Plus sometimes new levels don’t load and you have to go in and do an update to get them to Loan which is kind of a pain. My phone is set up to automatically update but it doesn’t work in this case. That ended when I got up to the first “locked gate.” It’s a progression stop where you either wait 4 hours to get another key, or bug your friends over Facebook for keys. No thanks. If it wasn’t for that progression stop, it would still be installed on my phone and get a higher rating. In response to the Developer Response: Just because it’s a familiar feature in these types of games doesn’t mean progression gates / time gates are a good idea. They’re annoying, disrupt gameplay, and are a quick way to drive customers away. I uninstalled the game because I don’t want to stop playing and wait for hours to continue and I’m certainly not going to bother people in Facebook for keys to keep playing. It is still a fun game BUT it is a very money hungry game. If you don’t buy points you can only play a limited amount of games before you are blocked out for a period of time and then you can play but you start over again. I don’t like games that basically blackmail you into paying for them while pretending to be free. As much as I love playing this I’m deleting it. I refuse to waste my money playing an online game when there are plenty of others for free. I changed my review to a two. I still love this game but I have never see such a money-hungry game. ✓ Stop with the Facebook already!!!Honestly, I have been an app user since the iPhone was invented. That goes without saying. HOWEVER, I have never EVER written a review for the hundreds of app’s (especially games) that have passed through my series of iphones. That said, I have enjoyed your “Simon’s Cat” pop game. Well, I’ve MORE than just played it—-I am on level 400 something—I rate the different games as I move to the next level. HOWEVER it is VERY heartbreaking that you are, all of a sudden, ONLY able to give or receive lives via Facebook. So my mother can no longer send me lives etc etc. Now I’m not just a player, I actually BUY things there....weather it be opening up the piggie bank or a seasonal special.... In any case....please go back to the way things work! My mother doesn’t “do” Facebook but she enjoys this game as much as I do. So please please please allow me to, once again, give lives to my dear mother???? I will write a review of praise as a follow up if someone from your company actually hears my plea. ✓ Alright game but so many pop-upsThis gameplay is alright but my issue is the amount of pop-ups constantly trying to get you to buy packs or bonuses or shields or lives etc. One or two is acceptable now and again but when you have to click through 4 just to start the game and then the constant stream of them between levels it starts to grate on you..Version: 1.13.1

✓ Geared towards spending cashAfter playing Crunch Time off and on for several months I can honestly say this is more enjoyable BUT AGAIN it is heavily geared to ‘encouraging’ the player to spend cash to get through ‘almost’ impossible levels when the frustration kicks in. I understand the developers need to turn a profit, it’s what pays for these and future games obviously, but please make it clear in the description that this is the case and it’s not free. After investing a significant amount of time only to find a level soaks up all the free boosts you have and not having/able to spend money to get further ones, is incredibly frustrating..Version: 1.12.0
✓ Got ridiculously hardStarted out great levels abit challenging but then when it gets to the queen bees and the water balloons where if you hit one you lose ALL your goes, absolutely not fair and I’m not paying money either, had to uninstall isn’t fun anymore..Version: 1.39.1
✓ Disappointed & out of pocket!What should be a straightforward app has gone downhill very fast. Since the last update there have been several niggles, users unable to win any tournament due to the fact that no matter how many games you play and win, they are not logged. You are unable to purchase bonus packs and offer’s because, despite the fact the money is taken from your bank, you receive no benefits!!! My first message was responded to and I got a refund, when I thought this had been fixed, alas, it wasn’t, 5 messages through the app over the last 2 weeks have been unanswered, 1 message through FB Messenger, unanswered, 1 comment directly on a post through FB, unanswered. I am appalled, disappointed and quite frankly very frustrated by the lack of input by the Developers. So much so, that I am strongly inclined right now, to contact Simon Tofield, not because he has anything to do with App development, but the fact they are using his animation, and his stories to create an App that is riddled with fault, but even more so, because of the lack of acknowledgment to any of my messages. If you really want this App then wait, wait until all the issues are resolved..Version: 1.39.1

✓ Adds lieI wanted to play the spot the difference game, in 36 levels of pop games I’ve only had one. The adds lie which they are not allowed to do.. so uninstalling. Don’t waste your time if you’re trying to play the spot the difference game..Version: 1.46.1
