✓ Exclusive content makes this game/anime hybrid worth my timeAfter playing this game to level 70, I feel like I have near encyclopedic knowledge of the “Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?”anime. I know all the characters and their backgrounds which make me appreciate the anime more. There is also 10 times more unique content beyond the anime’s episodes. I really find the thought of seeing new decent quality content motivating me to play. It does a good job of allowing you to power up a new level one character to full strength relatively quickly too. ✓ My Favorite Gacha/Anime GameI’ve been meaning to write a review for months now, and it’s about time I did. I’ve been with the game for a year now (ever since the 2018 Summer Event and I’m a free to play player). The game is really fun to play. In the beginning the game is a little slow because of the tutorial and you constantly running out of stamina, and earning iris to pull for newer units can hard to come by once you first start. This struggle doesn’t last for long however. They’re always releasing newer units, and the units are never too overpowered. The devs also make it easy to earn iris by doing daily quests, and special bonuses when they’re running a special event (you’ll definitely want to participate). If you’re looking for a game to just enjoy because you watched the anime/read the manga then this is the game for you..Version: 6.4.0
✓ Needs workI like this game. But it’s been over a year since this game came out and some functions still haven’t been added. I heavily suggest to add in a raid function to skip repeating the same mission over and over again after already s clearing it. This would save so much time on quests that need to be grinded like every event quest. You’ve already s cleared it and chances of failing that quest are practically impossible unless you use a weak team. Maybe also add in items to boost character stats permanently or give us characters that go beyond 6 stars. Because honestly fighting quests that are level 100 is almost impossible and far too difficult for the average player. Casual players don’t pay for micro transactions in games like this especially when they have to grind all the time. If I didn’t like danmachi so much I would have quit this game the moment I beat the main story for bell just because this game is such a grind. This game could be better and more accessible to casuals if you just cut out the grind and give us something to make characters stronger after level 80..Version: 6.2.0

✓ Good but could be betterThe game is fun and the stories are good, but it can be hard to get good characters and getting the same character is not uncommon. Getting the same character isn’t that bad of a problem because the game gives you a lot of valis (in game currency) from logging in daily, doing quests, character quests, event quests and straight up giving you 11 free characters weekly. But getting good characters is hard once you have a team of rank 4 characters and keep getting lower rank character that art even worth ranking up. So then you end up fully relying on your one beast of a unit and pray to god the ai is dumb enough to completely ignore the one guy that’s killing them. TLDR fun game with crappy RNG down the line.Version: 8.0.1
✓ There's always a gacha.This is a really well-made game; however it suffers from the same critical flaw as all gacha-based games—there is really no game balance to speak of, and you will never crack the top tiers without spending an insane amount of money. The game is really only fun for free-to-play if you are willing to accept this going in. Gameplay is complex and varied, storylines are extensive, and there are frequent crossovers with other franchises. But, the gacha model is not designed to produce good, competitive game balance, it is designed to produce profits by constantly churning out newer, more powerful units that obsolete the old, and unless you have those units by luck or by buck, you can't compete and you will find yourself very frustrated. And unfortunately the pricing of the in-game currency in this game is outrageous..Version: 9.2.2
✓ The best app gameThis is by far my favorite app game I’ve played - and I have played dozens over the years. The events and voice acting that are constantly added create such an amazing world for just an app game, and it made me appreciate Danmachi far more than when I saw the first season. While it held a specula place in my heart then, the app game truly cemented its place as an all time favorite. I recommend this game to anyone - long before I ever spent money on Danmachi I was already placing in the top 500 players in arena and record buster. It is easy to progress and get good units in this game - they practically throw currency your way - especially when you’re new..Version: 7.1.1
✓ Worth itIf you’re a fan of Danmachi, or gacha games, this is a game you should consider playing. The iris (the currency used for gacha rolls) is generously distributed throughout the game, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to roll the character you are looking for. The rates for 4* are also generous in comparison to the competition. You’ll receive iris as you go through the story, complete missions, rank up, ‘bond’ with other npcs, etc etc. the combat is admittedly not something to write home about, but that’s not really the main appeal with gacha games anyway. These games are all about the waifus, let’s not kid ourselves. That being said, there is a certain level of strategy that can be implemented to complete story or arena modes that you are under leveled for. Overall, it’s quite the polished mobile gacha game. And especially if you’re a fan of the series, or interested in becoming a fan, there’s no point in not picking this up. Something to hold us over until the second season comes out..Version: 3.1.0
✓ It’s pretty decentOn iphone there a few problems I have with things like crashes(once in a while after switch between apps) the friend system is a little hard. As in to get friends you have to follow them or enter this long random number. The game play isn’t bad its standard game play for this genre. The game is still missing a few features that are sure to come in the future as in crafting and rampage. There are a few mistranslations and some parts that arnt translated at all, but these are rare and minor. Not too many complaints at this time. I’m gonna keep playing it for a while. ✓ Please add more quests, and add an orb per quest?It is becoming impossible to get enough orbs to get the character you want at a high enough limit break lvl without spending a ton on orbs. I’m a dedicated gamers who pretty much never misses a day to game and get stronger and I’m limited because there aren’t enough orbs to gain through questing to keep trying for the characters you need, and I can’t be the only person having this problem. I mean there’s only 3 level areas. To get a character you need to go through like 25-40 levels if you’re doing them on s and getting bonuses for clearing the stage fully in that lvl and if you’re lucky enough to get the right character you need. You used to give a round 5 orbs as all purchases with orbs are based at lowest units of 5 that should have stayed the same..Version: 4.0.0

✓ Love it but not the recovery processIf you get this app be sure not to uninstall it. I had it for months. Got to level 78, was nice and rich, had over a dozen adventurers nearly maxed out and cleared all of the main story and went on to part two. But I uninstalled it to get space for a different app. I came back and tried to recover my account but was expected to remember details from almost a year prior. How much iris I had, what level I was, what chapter in the story I finished last, what date I started playing, what date I most recently played. The names of the characters in my most recent party (out of five parties I couldn’t remember which I used last) and screenshots cants be trusted I guess. So if you uninstall the game without making a notes about your detailed progress don’t expect to have your info recovered even if you give them the name of your profile, level, ect. I’m still gonna be playing it despite all that. It’s a good game. Just sad about the characters I lost and how much time was wasted..Version: 8.2.0
✓ Pc?There’s a lot of downloading involved, which there should be if you want a good game. But this is mobile so it’s kinda slow, and there could be a lot more added if it were on pc, or even console. The game has a lot o work off of, so they could potentially add a lot to this. It could be a much larger game with more hours of gameplay, and story. There could be more main quests, and side quests; more items and things to gain to have a freaking if determination or excitement. Lastly I’d like to see this game not be a turn based game and maybe be something more mmorpg like, perhaps something like WoW or Diablo, or maybe take a more difficult approach like Dark Souls or Blood Borne. ✓ If you like Danmachi play this game.So I have have been playing ftp for like a week and this is one of the best gatcha games I have ever played. It is so good I wish I had bought the starter pack (you only have 3 days so I can’t now), and I never spend more than 5$ on a free to play game. As to what others have said, I have played 80+ hours and have never run out of stamina! I don’t even see how you could unless you purposely refused to do quests or any story mode, AND also did like no pvp and just grinded Falna and exp books. PvP is fair, I am ranked 150 right now and haven’t bought any gems which is cool. Best part though is the voice acted story (though this does make it pretty large), which is hilarious and pretty action focused. 5/5 game..Version: 3.1.0

Or add one or two more different characters with their own set of episode lists. You’ve added so many more characters to the game with season 3-4. ✓ Thank YouAfter completing Argo Part II, I wanted to congratulate the writer of it. It truly was an exhilarating and touching storyline that I’m happy was made. I enjoy the extra bits of lore that come from these events, but this one really felt special to me. ✓ Love & hateLoving the game and how it actually follows the story and gives background info on other characters Hate how I did the update for the new chocolate event and every time I go to the gacha store or even go questing, I immediately get kicked out of the game. I’ve closed all my other apps and then rebooted the game, gets kicked. Rebooted phone and made sure no other apps were running prior to playing game and I still get kicked anytime I tap on quest or any of the bottom buttons. ✓ More than a game....I just had to take the time to write this review after playing chapter 46 of the Danmachi/Date-A-Live crossover. This is more than just a review about the game itself....I am more impressed with the all the new content & stories that the game creators add that help the world & characters of Danmachi to grow & feel more than just your run of the mill fan service anime series when I saw it on Crunchyroll. I have to especially give praise to the voice actors (seiyuu) more than anything else. They give great performances that give 2-dimensional characters with no movement more depth than some 3-dimensional actors in most Hollywood movies I’ve seen lately! I’ve only spent about $10 over the past year on the in-app purchases and wish I could give more to help support the development of the game, but my current financial situation makes that complicated. I do wish it were easier to get the more stronger characters with out spending too much money on Iris (even though I was able to get Eren during the Attack on Titan crossover without spending much money and he’s the strongest character I have). Despite that, I will continue to support this game (as well as the 2nd season of the anime) as much as I can in the meantime and I look forward to more new game content in the future!.Version: 6.2.1

✓ Addicted to this game!I have been a fan of the show for a little while and stumbled upon this game a few weeks ago. Ever sense my friends and I have been playing nonstop. The game is similar in gameplay mechanics to Nintendos Fire Emblem mobile app but rather than hustling you with micro-transactions, this game leaves you plenty to do a few weeks in and gives you enough free currency from completing tasks as to not pressure you into buying anything to continue having fun. The only things I would want to see change for player convenience would be that when opening pages to browse through characters, shops and episodes, the page after refreshing, takes you back to the top rather than where you left off. (I.e If I’m midway on episode 21 and then beat quest 21-1, The screen will automatically scroll back up to episode 32, causing me each time to have to annoyingly scroll back down to 21 to complete the rest of the quest list), and also adding an auto skip option for quests that have already been S cleared. I’ve seen this implemented in much older games of this genre and would love to not have to sit through a 30 second fight sequence when I’m grinding for items, but everything else about this game has proven to keep me coming back despite the minor issues! ✓ Best free to play gameThe best part, I can access everything in the game without paying a dime. This game rewards you with crystals very generously, which you can also pitches with money, but there’s no need to. I’ve seen complains that having energy is a problem but I don’t have that issue. It’s true you run out of energy quickly but the game rewards you with energy replenishing items to the point where I could play hours and be able to use the items to keep my energy up. The game is simple enough to just jump on whenever but makes you think about the party build later in the game which is a great learning curve. ✓ Good gameplayI find the downloading process a bit annoying but if you have the time to set your phone down and leave for a while whilst it downloads and the patience to download it a few times once you get to the game it is amazing personally I have had to redo the whole game but that’s due to my stupidity once you get in the game tho the only problem I would have is the prices are incredibly high for buying in game currency but that does reduce the pay to win factors and at the start it is easy to get stamina and as long as you stockpile at the start and keep stockpiling you should almost never run out of stamina and then if you do the daily quest will help with the 250 plus stamina you can get and the events you can get more stamina restoring items you don’t need to use immediately so basically it is awesome not that hard to earn free game currency but still challenging enough to make it fun the graphics are great and the game isn’t buggy for me not many freezes and many different and fun storylines there are side story’s that don’t follow the anime and make for interesting story’s great if you have a patience level and know how to stay relatively calm the game also has competitive gameplay with ranking systems and competition you can join a group and help it rise to the top and so on.Version: 9.9.0

✓ AmazingMemoria Freese is the Gacha game I’ve been searching for. It’s simply incredible. The game is loaded with features like equipment crafting, character dialogues and stories. You can interact with the characters you unlock and even change their outfits! The game so far seems very generous to F2P players, you can earn Iris fairly quickly, as there are many opportunities to gain some. A new gacha banner was just released where the two 4 stars in the pool are both top tier units, and you are guaranteed to get a new 4 star on your first try! You rarely see generosity like this in gacha games. I’m very excited to keep playing this as the developers have created a great game and seem to care for their players. ✓ Amazing game.. butThe games mechanics and flow itself is very well done. It’s almost impossible to run out of stamina if you play right. Either you finish enough quests to spend the meager amount of iris it takes to refill your stamina. Or you do enough quests to get plenty of snacks to basically never run out. At least until you finish every quest. I’ve basically maxed out most of my characters and a couple of them are limit bursted as-well. And I’m only a week in. Really you just have to look at what gives you the items you need and you’ll be fine. Really my only complaint is the iris pricing. Spending $20 won’t even get you the maximum amount of summons. Intact you’re forced to spend $40 for an uneven amount of iris. Which is required for paid for iris only items which will give you game breaking characters basically. I’m not saying lower the prices. But maybe put a middle ground in between or at-least weekly sales. Other than that it’s a solid game and I’m enjoying it..Version: 3.1.4
✓ Memoria Awesome!Game is great and let me just get this out of the way.... I never heard of DanMachi nor did I ever watch the anime before I played this. Well now I can say I have and its solely because of how amazing this little (Oh excuse me I mean huuuge 3-5 gigs according to some) gem came out. I haven’t put this much time, patience, or grind into a game in a long while. I have played many role playing/anime type gotchas and this one tops them all IMO. The only other games I can say I played religiously or even had remotely kept my interest for over a month or even years were FFBE,DoKKan,OPTC,And Brave Frontier. The amount of free in game currency you will get is unreal. I literally played 2 days straight and was able to pull at least 10 11pulls for free if not more.... Also I love how in this game you do not have to wait for a certain day of the week to get a certain type of mats. (I mean you can.....but you can also collect keys to unlock whatever you want and they are given out in mass). I recommend this game to anybody and everybody! ✓ It’s ok but repetitiveI spent many hours on this and I enjoyed it a lot. Unfortunately after a few months this game becomes extremely repetitive and I'm to wonder why I should even open the app at all. Also, if you want to receive good rewards you have to spend hours of grinding to become a top player. I don’t have an issue with this but it can be annoying that many people can reach your level or higher if they pay for items/characters. All it all, the game is fun and the story mechanics are decent and reflect the anime. Sadly the “events” can be a little dry and I usually end up skipping the short “cutscenes”. ✓ UndecidedSo been waiting for a bit to try this game. Got it downloaded. Then downloaded the game I thought via app switch took a quite a long time, played 30 seconds of tutorial the I had to download again for another half hour, hit a couple buttons in town as part of tutorial and I’m back to downloading again. And I got a 500 Mb/s internet connection. So I hope Crunchyroll’s server issue curse doesn’t affect the game. Giving it 4 stars for now. Hopefully the comment might help fix things( like downloading everything at 1 time instead of a bunch of times cuz it’s annoying) you definitely need time on your hands to play this game, and you’ll be downloading for at least a hour if not much more before you even get to play it..Version: 3.1.0
✓ Helpful criticismI just got the game two days ago and I’m pleased with my progress so far. Im rank 30 and I already have two 6 star adventures and the rest are 4. The gatcha system is good but the fact that paid and free iris crystals are seperated is a pain. It would be really cool to implement a system where multiple players could pick characters and team up for a co-op mode. Im not sure if its possible but a lot of people have been complaining about the amount of space that the game is taking up. Right now it's taking up about 3.44 gb on my phone. There are other games built like this one that only take up half the space. Overall i really love the game so far and we appreciate all the work that went into making this game. ✓ From the beginningI’ve been playing the game almost since it came out in the US. I can honestly say the energy consumption is low and layout of the game are pretty intuitive. There’s no ads that I’ve seen in that whole time and you can even skip or replay any cutscene. Overall a relaxing game with fun stories about the manga/anime. Super fun when the events were timed with the release of each new episode. Plus tons of crossover events too! Now the money review...it’s ridiculously expensive to get any of the (paid) iris. You’re looking to shell out around $40 unless you get a special bundle so you can spin a gacha 1 time. You need the same character 6 times to max the lvl. There are generally 6 or so characters released a month. I’ve legitimately wanted to send money to the developers before, but there’s no point to spending money on this game unless you’re dropping $400+ every monthly event and that will only get you around a 50% chance of getting the person you want enough times to max it. Soooo you generally don’t have to worry about a regular person showing up and paying to beat you. Really have enjoyed it..Version: 10.2.0
✓ A Hope for FansGuys I’ve been playing for about a week and a half. I can’t put this thing down. It’s so fun, rewarding, and has many good nods to the anime while giving some fresh dialogue and fun new fights. Pros: - I haven’t spent a dime, and find I have plenty of the paid currency & items to get more energy (if I needed to even use them) - From what I can tell drop rates for higher tiers are not unfair (but anyone can fairly easily be powered to the max level/rank, though limit breaking is another story) - Honestly I always have stuff to do and always have different kinds of things to do. I enjoy that variety - Auto fight features Cons: - I feel like you can too easily farm the highest end of farming levels (for Exp./Gold/Mats) I wish these had additional levels of difficulty so that I could farm for more resources at once - Characters are not made equally. Not everyone at max level brings the same kind of power to the table. For instance I have a 100% maxed Bell (the one you start with) and he is not even close to my roughly 80% maxed Sparkle Princess Ais - The auto fighting is nice. But you still have to enter (and re-enter) levels to do/farm them Summary: I’m a big fan of the Light Novel Series and the Anime. This game has been a fun, and new way to enjoy Dan Machi. ✓ Good gameThis game is really good and it seems easy and doesn’t feel like a pay to win game but what I would like is to somehow save your data like Game Center or to I cloud or something only way to save your data is by transferring your data to a new phone but if u delete on the phone you are using you will start over if that can be fixed I would love it also , there is this bug when it will also say lost connection to server but everything is good my WiFi and connection but it says that from time to time and is a little annoying, hopefully it can be fix but other then that this game a really good and can’t wait for more content in the future.Version: 7.1.1

✓ How to get strongerThis is currently day two since the game has been out and while your characters level up the only thing that increase with level ups is your hp and mp. In order to increase your characters stats you need to use Falna which are drops that you get from monsters. The grind for these things can take hours but when you go to fight a boss you fought a couple chapters ago and you can now two shot him you will have a smile in your face. All in all I really like this game. It makes you feel the struggle of leveling up that the anime had and by no way shape or form is this game “easy” but it is very rewarding..Version: 3.1.0
✓ I’ve played this game for over three months and love itThe game is honestly really good. You can play it casually because of the auto mode in battle. And there are always new events going on. As long as you do the daily missions you can refill your stamina. When one event end another starts the next day and always brings in new characters. It’s a turn by turn battle game that is pretty straight forward. If you care to take the game serious it’s going to take some time to build characters strong enough to take on the challenge if stuff. I’m a free player and refuse to spend money on mobile games and I’ve gotten really far in the game so it definitly doesn’t require money to enjoy and put up a fight. ✓ Love it (Pros and Cons at bottom)I've had this game since day one of NA launch and I absolutely adore this game, events happen constantly and so many versions of Ais I can collect oh boy, it is a gacha so if you want adventurers ( characters) you're gonna have to grind for them or buy the in-game currency to get characters. That being said, I came from Fate/Grand Order so this gacha is like heaven. Material grinding though, is probably the most boring part of the game and I absolutely despise it. Story is good if you haven't seen either seasons of the anime, if you have then the only interesting story are Events or character specific episodes. That being said it looks like they're going off the Light Novels story with certain character specific episodes. Another thing I'd like to mention is I keep seeing a reccuring theme here in reviews : "I ran out of stamina" , I can say since day one I've yet to run out of stamina. I'm usually over the max most of the time in the 800s. To those people, keep playing story or events. They give stamina like crazy. ······TL;DR······ Pros: Good gacha rates Interesting story and events Massive array of adventurer and assists. ✓ FAVORITE FRANCHISE AND MOBILE GAMEI’ve been playing danmemo for the past 6th months and I cannot get enough of it. I’ve played many mobile gacha games and this one is definitely my favorite by far. I cannot believe how much work the develops constantly put into the game with updated content every week or 2 with new events and great stories along with it. Not to mention, the amazing art that comes along with all the units. Even if you have completed all of the quests to attain iris, the developers make sure that you are still able to get iris and pull on new gacha units. Some may say that it is hard to compete with paid players, but compared to other gacha games danmemo is very generous with the iris and you can compete with paid players pretty easily depending on your team build. One thing that I have noticed with danmemo compared to other gacha games is just how easy it is on the eyes. Other games such as bleach brave souls uses a lot of flashy lights and hard to stare at for long periods of time, but danmemo is the exact opposite. I loveeeee the Danmachi franchise and I belive that it has so much potential And is highly underrated. I cannot wait for season 3 !!!.Version: 9.4.0
✓ Fan since day one but needs a bit moreI have been playing this game since it was first released and it is by far the most enjoyable mobile game to date. There are a few things the game needs though: 1- Being able to interact with every danmachi character (I understand not being able to do so with crossovers but would be cool as well) 2- Each character NEEDS a character specific weapon (Each character should be able to build off its own strength) 3- A basic chat system for familia ( I am aware this is in the process but needs to be implemented ASAP) 4- Events need to be more frequent. I enjoy the events being two weeks long but I think a new event should come out every week overlapping each other- still get two weeks but can also have more fun 5-More chances for rainbow bonds. The beauty of this game is the ability to play without getting in over your head but the limited characters are getting out of hand requiring far too much work or money to complete (help us out a bit) Thank you.Version: 5.1.2

✓ Fun Little GameIf you’re already familiar with DanMachi you’ll be revisiting the main story from the anime, but there are a whole bunch of new viewpoints and side quests to explore! There’s a bit of grinding you’ll need to do in order to achieve these story aspects and though I wish there was a bit more control and strategy involved I don’t find the battles to be much of a detraction. Honestly, if you go about things in a smart way the grind is easily broken up into more digestible sections as you can check in to see what the other characters are up to whenever you’d like. Memoria also has special events and side activities to help break things up as well. I’ve enjoyed the past full month I’ve been playing; especially when I have some time to kill. I even went back and watched the anime series all over again since the game is pretty good at immersing you in the world and it made me want to revisit things! Definitely give Memoria a whirl if you’re a fan of fantasy rpg’s or DanMachi itself!.Version: 3.2.0

✓ Gotta spend money and be lucky to be strongCard pulling game. Best to get 6 copies of the strong 4 star characters. You can get them by spending iris(game money), but the place you pull from is gonna have 3 possible characters to get, and only 4 copies of 4 stars are guaranteed for 4000 iris (takes about a month or two to save up). It’s really luck based, but even if you get lucky, you might need to spend some money to do paid pulls where a certain character is guaranteed to be pulled. Can’t be strong and pull every new batch of characters at the same time without spending hundreds of dollars. However, I still love DanMachi so I’m still gonna play.Version: 5.2.2
