Wicked!Love this app! Has made saving SOOOOO easy! Honestly you have nothing to lose, it’s free and so easy to use. I regret nothing and I’ve suggested this bank to everyone I know and heaps of my friends and family are with UP now 😍 You can do everything from the app, even chat with someone if you need help with something. You can track where your money is going ie groceries, rent, personal spends.. it puts it all into categories. You can get a percentage of your pay put into your savings and with every use of your card you can round up your purchase to be put into your savings, you don’t even notice the small amounts going into your savings. These are just a few examples of the abundance of awesome features UP (Bendigo bank) has to offer. I couldn’t recommend this app enough! If you don’t have it, join now. You can only go UP from here 😉.Version: 1.15.3

✨ The Greatest Mistake I’ve Ever Made ✨I accidentally joined Up not knowing what it was (probably should’ve looked into it when it started asking for my passport and bank account details hahah) and only realised when I got the card in the mail that this wasn’t the money organising app I initially believed it to be. However, I LOVE this way of banking it’s the greatest thing that’s happened to me all 2020 and I’m absolutely thriving. I love being able to have multiple savers for all my goals and see what I have to do to reach them - it’s amazing!! Bendigo and Adelaide bank really did that, ANZ truly could never. Long story short, if youre 16+ you need this in your life, it’s basically made for us AND it’s fun to use! Plus the card’s spunky - who needs a black AMEX when you can have a Fluro orange Up card???.Version: 1.15

I’d rate more than 5 stars if I could!I’ll preface this by admitting that I work for one of your competitors. Since day dot I’ve been incredibly impressed with Up. You’ve introduced a new way of banking, it’s ideal for the younger generation. You have maintained an excellent level of customer service, without EVER needing to call. My millennial brain loves this. I would imagine the staff prefer this too - working in a call centre environment is tough. I love the “Up Tree” on your website. The upcoming payments is incredibly helpful. I’ve always been horribly impulsive with money, even with a decent salary I would live week to week. Having all of these insights readily available, being able to hide and lock savers, even setting a home loan savings account has been a tremendous part of my financial awareness. So, thank you to the team at Up. 💛 I can’t wait to see more features roll-in. Particularly upcoming payments to come out of designated savers and the ability to lock a saver down (more than 3hrs)..Version: 2.5.7

Up Bank is the love of my lifeMy friends are so sick of me raving about Up Bank. At this rate they should pay me. I am free advertising. I love it so much. Up savers have changed the way I think about money. I don’t feel the temptation to spend my savings because if do, it means having to transfer money out of an allocated saver. Do I want a new top or do I want to pay my car insurance? It’s not even a question any more. And the trackers?? $300 grocery budget for the month. Up Bank lets me know if i’ve spent $150 by the 15th. I’ve never managed my savings and spending so easily. It’s stress-free money management. Also, it’s pink. Say no more..Version: 2.4.0

FINALLY A MODERN BANKThankful for Up and its creators for finally modernising banking for the average person. The app is great and the ethos is even better, I like how easy everything is to use..Version: 3.1.0

In loveI am absolutely in love with this up and banking system. Like everybody I’ve got bills to pay and would usually keep track of my money via a notebook be it either an app or pen & paper but with this banking app I simply open different savers designated for bills, shopping, personal & saving. It saves me time and with my old bank if there was no money in that account I’d pay interest yearly or a minor interest payment of 1 cent if money was in my bank but with up I earn interest monthly after simply shopping. Regardless of wether it’s 1 or 2 cents. The only drawback I have found so far is there’s a withdrawal limit which you can ask to increase either permanently or temporarily & my money goes into my account later than usual but that doesn’t worry me as I still get paid on the day I am meant to get paid. Up bank is absolutely amazing so a huge thank you to you guys for an amazing job.Version: 2.2.14

Fabulous and intuitive appGreat for those of us who depend on mobile banking over needing physical banks. The interest rate is unparalleled and budgeting and saving has never been easier or more fun..Version: 1.15.2

Can’t fault itAbsolutely great app and I have recommended it to my friends and family. I’ve been using it since September 2023 as we were going on holiday and it was so easy to use overseas. I prefer it over my other bank. It has awesome features great customer support 24/7 and you can create multiple savings accounts and lock them. If you want to unlock your savings account there’s a 3 hour timer on it. You can also have the option to have a mate (eg, partner) to unlock the savings quicker by sending them a request to confirm you are unlocking your savings and it will reduce the 3 hour waiting time to unlock it immediately (if it’s super urgent). I love the bonus and it’s super convenient to have it in my digital wallet. Absolutely awesome app !!! Highly recommend.Version: 3.3.8

Best online bank EVERIt’s a fantastic bank, honestly. As a millennial it has all the modern features I’ve been craving from a online bank, with plenty more planned for the future (check out their Tree of Up on their site). I’m looking forward to lockable savers in particular. Besides the functionality, I LOVE the Up branding, app graphics and animation. As I work in this field myself, I have extra appreciation for this aspect of the bank as well. The only feedback I’d raise would be to trial a sliding top menu. Ie: Instead of pressing each menu item to switch between each page, allow the user to swipe left and right across the menu for a more fluid transition between each menu page..Version: 2.2.7

Use Code - Doogle for $5 Instantly!Best online bank, best developers, amazing customer support! - great for global travelers with the wise partnership!.Version: 2.2.4

Multiple usesI signed up for UP purely for a travel card as I heard they have great rates and no hidden fees. When I went travelling I used the up card and I had zero issues with it, it was the best thing to have, now I recommend it to everyone. After I got back from my travel I am still using up to save money, set up goals to ensure that I can pay my bills and up coming payments . It’s helped me get on top of my finances and understand how much I need to put a side a month to pay larger bills such as car insurance, home and Cantonese insurance, car registration etc . It’s fantastic. Highly reccomend.Version: 3.1.1

Shocked! So I know we’ve had Facebook for over 15 years, but I never expected anywhere in that timeframe we’d be able to attach a gif to a payment. I know what you’re thinking. Why would you want to attach a gif to a payment? Is this some NFT type thing I don’t understand? Why does a savings account need an emoji? But when the previous bank allowed an 18 character description and the bill your paying wants an invoice number that makes sense for their records but goobledegook for yours, the gif represents the 20 year gap between most banks and technology. Lots of extremely well thought out functionality which should really be the minimum we expect from all banks. Pay splitting for 2up is really the last feature I think I need. Maybe the ability to flag certain transactions for tax time. But honestly, it’s all exceptionally well done..Version: 2.2.4

The best bank and banking appThe team at Up seem to preempt everything we might need from a bank. It’s the best bank and banking app I’ve ever used and prior to this I’d banked with both Starling and Monzo in the UK. It has a great interface, straightforward to use, and I couldn’t love it more if I tried!!.Version: 1.13.5

Great AppI had doubts when my son sent me an invite to join Up. Now I am reaping the benefits not only of a fantastic interest rate but of the ease and convenience of using Up. I was very sceptical of using an all internet banking system with no branches you could fall back onto if there was a problem. I did some research and found Up has to follow all the same regulations as regular banks and is backed by Government if it all goes wrong. Have found the app so easy to use so I can proudly call myself a regular upsider now. Thanks to the creators of Up for creating an option to keep the big 4 honest (if that’s possible!). Keep up the great work. Thanks..Version: 2.4.6

It has its “Upsides”!Been with Up for the last month and I have been absolutely loving it, especially over my older bank. The UI for the app is a lot more interesting than what I was using and for the most part, pretty intuitive. There is a 24/7 contact support system which is always super handy and everything is done through the app, making it easy to know you don’t have to go and talk to someone over the to get something set up and sorted. There also seems to be new features that are added frequently in the last month. If you are looking for a modern, reliable and digital bank, Up is certainly incredible. I have loved getting spending summaries, the save $1000 challenge is fun and has been an easy way to save up a chunk of money. You also aren’t forced to finish the challenge if you do really need to reach into that money as you can start over. Also compared to my previous bank, I actually get notifications now on when money gets sent to me or when I spend money at different places. It all sounds like basic sort of stuff but it was stuff that either was incredibly annoying to look for or nonexistent with my previous bank which is why I am absolutely loving Up!.Version: 2.4.0

An excellent app, the future of all banking apps.I have only been using Up for the last week. It is a truly excellent app and banking experience. It took me mere minutes to open an account, verifying my identity and issuing me a digital debit card through the app. The UI is great and easy to navigate. I am still learning some of the functions but thus far have opened a 2Up joint account with my wife, set up multiple saver accounts with auto transfers and looked into the brief spending insights that have been generated so far. The saving accounts let you allocate cool and meaningful icons next to them. I have a profile pic set and my own Up Payid. In the joint account each transaction will have the profile pic of the spender attached to it as well as an icon from the business if available. It may not sound like much but it is an easy, modern user experience and so different to the other banks I use. I highly recommend trying it..Version: 2.4.11

Looking for YNAB replacement, changed my whole banking process!!I was looking for a cheaper alternative to YNAB which is over $100 a year and I went down the rabbit hole that is the internet and found locally run UpBank! Not only does their app integrate tools to help you budget, but every part of their philosophy and app feels polished and is clearly made by people who actually use the app as their daily driver. I feel way more in control of my money as well as it being less effort with automatic transfers into savers that doesn’t feel like a dinosaur to do! It will even tell you your upcoming bills! I wish I had have discovered this sooner. If you’re skeptical, sign up and just try it for a few pay periods!.Version: 2.2.2

Great features, suffering from reliability issuesI’ve been looking for a fintech/neobank that can help manage my family’s budget in a “buckets of money” approach and Up is just what I’ve been looking for. The big banks have been adding budgeting features taking an informational approach. But with Up, you can effectively create unlimited sub-accounts to allocate your money according to your budgeting needs. I would have given 5 stars to recognise the above along with other great features but a star had to be knocked of due to a number of minor issues I’ve encountered. - My debit card could not be activated for Apple Pay. Support team had to cancel the card and reissue a new one (so two received in mail) - Some payments have shown an error with little explanation. It made it uncertain if funds were transferred - My partner received two cards in the mail despite no activation issue like above - Card info services (where you can view card number, expiry + cvc in app) were unavailable just prior to click frenzy Overall I’ve been very satisfied but cautious as there have been a few hiccups after only a couple weeks of use.Version: 2.2.1

LOVE LOVE LOVEI have been a upsider for 3yrs now and must I say this is honestly one of the best internet banking apps there is! Hands down the best maintenance times and communication, this bank is never down for long due to them always being ontop of it, they make paying to other people easier, they have a cool card and the most unique payments section. You can send gifs when receiving or requesting which make it funnier! The new slice option makes split playing a breeze, personally I think everyone should get up, my entire family now use it and it’s just made it a little easier for us all.Version: 2.3.0

Better than the big fourI’ve been a longtime Westpac customer and their app has always bee horrendous. Most apps these days give a good amount modern features but they lack the easy of use. The UP Bank app makes transactions actually labelled as the shop name opposed to the business name for example. Even when someone sends you money you get their name and not a bank showing as the sender. If you really want the official details of anything you can tap in for more for details but I like how the app gives you information that is straight forward rather than making you have to think what that random transaction is called because you don’t know what the business name is. Round ups is a very nice feature to save money without doing anything. There’s so much packed into the app that makes banking a lot smoother. Other apps just make so many layers before you can actually get to where you need to go. The downside to banking with UP is that a lot if the physical banking is done at the post office which can be busy. The speed of processing money is a bit slower, so instead of processing of transactions being completed in the morning, you’re expecting it to finalise in the afternoon..Version: 2.4.5

Best Banking App on the marketI have accounts with just about every bank that offers a good digital solution and Up Bank is by far my favourite bank/app, both in terms of ease of use, feature set and regular deployment of new features. Love the roadmap on the website! Make the map interactive tho that’d be amazing. There are a few things that’s are still lacking like no integration with well known budgeting tools like pocketbook or investing apps like RAIZ and no ability to deposit cash thru Bank@Post. Not sure if they use open banking APIs yet which would really help the former but hopefully they will soon. The lack of options to deposit cash is a little annoying though - it means I have to have an account with a traditional bank for this contingency purpose. Anyhow overall fantastic app! The sign up process was the smoothest I’ve ever seen..Version: 1.8.1

Hands down best mobile banking appHad my doubts when I first joined Up. The app took some getting used to but after a week or so I can say this is the best banking up I have ever used. It’s full of useful insights. It’s actually well thought out and there’s some fun aspects to it like the weekly saving goal to reach $1000 with a little pig sitting in a banana chair on a beach, makes me laugh each time I see it. Gives new meaning to piggy bank. Real time updates of payments and all. Being able to split my salary without thought into my saver accounts is peace of mind. I’d love to be able to ad a spending account with seperate card though. This app keeps your savings goal on track and makes me aware of how much I’m saving or spending. Well done team..Version: 2.4.31

Banking in the 21st centuryAbsolutely love up. Makes me so excited to save and achieve financial goals. The best bit I love is being able to automatically split every paycheck into the separate saver accounts. Every fortnight I spend 10 minutes reviewing what needs to go where which sets me up for my goals for that fortnight. Then when pay hits it knows where to go! I’ve been able to schedule and set up automatic investing and even put reminders on my quarterly payments that are scheduled. I even have my mortgage with Up Bank. All of my savers act as offset accounts and it’s great having everything in one place. I could go on forever and I haven’t even had time to mention the great overseas exchange rates and no fees! What can’t you do? Not much! And if there is something I can’t work out or something is not working quite right I can always message the team and get a quick reply! Finally I have never had a bank pay for my coffee! You guys are the best, keep it up!.Version: 3.2.0

Easy bankingGreat e-bank. Easy to open your account, they respond to any enquires quickly. The savings account gives competitive interest %. Thank you Up!!!!.Version: 3.3.2

Helping me save!!I have been with Up for over a year and they have really taken this to the next level today! As someone who isn’t amazing with my savings I feel like up has read my mind with the newest saving feature where you can lock your savings. I have been searching for an account where you can freely deposit into but can’t withdraw from that’s not a form of term deposit. I love the idea that if you really need it, you can request to access it after waiting 3 hours so that will halt those splurge spending moments. For the first time in a long time, I finally feel like I have the means to get my savings in check so thank you Up!!.Version: 2.4.0

Amazing banking appJust switched to Up via the fastest and easiest process ever, and within 20 minutes all of my regular payments were switched over ready to go. Card is set up in Apple Pay and a plastic back up on the way. This little bank does every day banking tasks better than any major bank with a much slicker and useful app interface. It is an absolute pleasure to use and I like seeing that they are committed to regular updates and new features. Loving the spend tracking and round up savings features, just two examples that are way ahead of any other bank that’s for sure. Well done all, I’ll be an Upsider for a long time! Do yourself a favour and switch to this bank immediately!.Version: 2.2.20

Fantastic App but don’t like having to spend money every month to qualify for interest ratesI absolutely adore the Up app, the interface, their folders, round ups, being able to lock your account, and save up schemes, I think it is an absolutely fantastic banking app that is revolutionary compared to the other big banks, however I do not like having to make purchases every month in order to earn interest, i feel like this is promoting consumerism and in direct opposition to my savings goals. I prefer to use cash so as to monitor my spending and so when there is a requirement to make purchases in order to gain interest i feel like i lose control of my spending and it makes it harder for me to maintain my savings goals, hence i will be moving my money back into my NAB saver account despite how much I enjoy the Up interface. i will definitely be keeping my Up bank account and if they ever get rid of the monthly transaction requirement I would be very quick to transfer my money back over to Up bank!!.Version: 2.4.13

The best bank, best appYou’ve never felt like banking was fun & worthwhile until you’ve used this app. It’s not just the best in Australia, it’s one of the best in the world..Version: 2.3.2

Amazing app amazing bankI have really enjoyed using Up Every time I think of another way I would like to control my finances I find a new feature that I love. Customer support is great if you need it and everything is so up front and open. I receive messages if there’s been an issue even if it’s not impacting me personally and I am loving getting the oh by the way your savings interest is going up messages - I’ve received two of those and only been here a little over a month!!! I have one feedback and that it would be nice if Up could be more accessible to people who are unable to drive and do not travel. I have two friends that wanted to join but can’t due to drivers licence or passport as only identification options..Version: 2.4.17

Best Bank and Banking AppI’ve been searching for a good bank with reasonable fees and a great app and tech to manage my money and Up is the best I’ve ever seen. The app has an amazing UI but is still feature-rich and informative. I especially love the multiple savers you can create within your account to save money for different things and the auto-transfer and round-up features have allowed me to save a lot more than I could have in other banks or apps. I’d love to see an iPad specific version of the app soon, and maybe web access to our accounts. My biggest wish is for Up to be available in every country so I can have local accounts in the countries I frequent but the no international transaction fees make up for that. If you can’t already tell, love the bank and the app and highly recommend!.Version: 1.15

Was looking for a budgeting app - found my new bankI was looking for a budgeting app to keep track of all those direct debits and subscriptions that seem to leach your bank account. Came across UP - I am in the financial industry so I did some research into who was behind this. Bendigo and Adelaide bank are who seems to have the money. So it’s secure in that sense... my NAB app did recognise Bendigo from the BSB. With Google tech - you probably couldn’t ask for a better tech behind the scenes. Felt like within minutes I was set up - I was in que for an account for maybe half hour? I was thinking with this being new maybe I wouldn’t get access for a few weeks. Did my first transfer into the UP account from NAB and milliseconds later I had a push notification which I have been jealous of from my partner who banks with CBA. Money in account, cards in the mail but you can add your card to apple wallet from app. I’ve been seeking Apple Pay from my 3x lenders! I actually just opened an account with ANZ to have Apple Pay. (I may close this account now) Seems like they have some tech savvy people behind the app. Too early to tell how the tracking of spending will go. Looking forward to seeing the round up saver. Thinking this will be my bill paying bank account for sure. But to be honest so far so very good!.Version: 1.0.0

Love it so muchSo easy to organise my money and focus on saving without stress!.Version: 1.15.2

My new daily bankerI actually didn’t realise this is a bank until after I signed up. I thought it was a fee free savings account that transfers your round ups from your usual bank. But this is even better now that I know it is a bank! It has become my daily spendings account and I LOVE the round up feature and ability to have multiple savings accounts. The app is clean, simple and to the point. Great that it has no fees as I had initially wanted to use Raiz for the round up feature but think the fees are ridiculous and would end up going backwards in savings. Instead I use spaceship for putting my savings towards an investment portfolio but for the round ups feature UP is the way to go! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.Version: 1.19.0

The best!Honestly this has made managing my everyday finances so much better.Version: 3.3.0

I’m finally in control of my budget 🤗This app has been a game changer for me. So many amazing features that make it so easy for me to track and manage my finances. I’m great at making budgets but notoriously bad at sticking to them… until now! Up makes it so easy to split and organise my money in to “buckets” and create trackers to make it easy to see where my money is going. I also love how you can categorise purchases and see trends in spending. Customer service is fab too. Any time I’ve had an issue or a query it is very quickly solved via the chat in the app with their friendly team. So much more I could say but honestly, just give it a go for yourself. I promise you’ll love it!.Version: 2.4.9

Incredibly UsefulAs someone who doesn’t really like having to navigate through the bureaucracy of a bank and dealing with various people, I found Up to be such a great service. It’s made it super easy to set up different savings accounts, see my spending habits, change my details, and to see my transactions with friends, all without having to speak to another human. It’s evident that user-friendliness was a top focus during development, as it took me less than 10 minutes to set up my account. Figuring out how to use the app was also intuitive, so even the least tech-savvy individuals will have an easy time with Up. Overall, I could not recommend a better service for those looking for something different to their regular experience with banks..Version: 1.18.3

AmazingThe best bank I have ever had the pleasure of being with. Only stopped using them since moving back to NZ :( Please make available here I would switch back in a heart beat if I could !!.Version: 2.4.8

Easy to use, Intuitive, AestheticI’ve been using up for the last 3-5 months and it’s been amazing to help me save for my goals with the added bonus of high interest rates and no overseas charges. Only a few of my friends have it but it makes it so easy to send money to and from and it’s a really intuitive interface. Used to be with St. George and hated the app, the interface, the customer service and all the above but UP has exceeded all my expectations. I love how many savers I can have open and how much control I have over my finance - it also breaks it down really well! So many people ask what bank I use and I love recommending it. Keep UP the good work you guys, loving it..Version: 3.1.1

Top NotchI used to be a huge CBA fan for their mobile app especially on apple iOS. Since coming across UP bank, especially their roundup feature I’ve never switched back to any of other banks for my everyday banking. Now in the future if UP launches new features like investing like RAIZ has, and Cashback offers like HSBC does, I don’t think I’m ever going to switch back to any other bank. I also came across SharkTanks episode of QPay, and my first reaction was what is new in your offering when UP is doing everything already and going in all the right directions and even more. UP needs to focus on investing side of banking where it can offer their customers micro investing! Loving it, cannot recommend it any less. This is alternative to big4!.Version: 2.5.6

Better Banking ExperienceI have been a Commonwealth and HSBC customer. I started Up bank in frustration with HSBC not having payID upon recommendation from a mate. I find the instant payment system works best on Up. I did not have to deal with any issues in a year. I was not charged any penalties. I felt that I am in better control of my finances having multiple saver accounts dedicated for expenditures of any sort. I hear some grumble about online app banking as unsafe. I disagree. All banking services of recognised Australian banking is online in the background be it a brick and mortar or online. I think it’s time people give a go to neo bank and try Up as an example. Up has just personal accounts and a home loan service only compared to big banks. But it is a big bank too who owns and run it..Version: 3.3.5

Best and easiest banking app everSeriously nothing else compares to this bank it is elite tier. No funny business like a lot of other banks I’ve used, every element is straight up and simple to use. Even got my grandad on it and he loves it. The transactions are almost always instant compared to many of my friends with big banks where it takes a day or two to process. The savers features are awesome and the app is very well done making access to every part a breeze. And to add the cherry on top they have multiple schemes that earn you money by signing your friends up I got 100$ from getting ten mates to sign up and they each got a tenner too. Absolutely cracker bank 10/10.Version: 2.4.0

Never thought I’d have a good thing to say about a bankThere are two products that I’m obsessed with the first being Notion, and the second being Up Bank. I never thought I’d have a positive thing to say about a bank, but since skeptically opening an account with my first neo-bank I’ve since closed all my prior bank accounts. I’m a designer by trade and believe that good design is only achieved when designers listen to the people they’re designing for. This is something Up does well and why they have such an excellent product. Do yourself a favor and cancel your accounts with the big five and get an Up Bank account. I swear I don’t work for them, but I’d love to ;).Version: 2.2.4

I love the lock feature for the savings accountsI especially love the lock feature which disables you from spending your savings, which has been a huge life saver. To add to that feature I would recommend having the choice to extend the time instead from 3 hours to more however much the person wants. Another feature I would like to see is you can’t take your money out unless you reach your goal , lets say you want to save 20K for a car but you don’t want to have the ability to take that money out. This is basically impulse protection. Besides that this is the best banking app I’ve used. Wish you you guys had a credit card especially an interest free one like some other big banks have..Version: 3.1.0

Gave me working Apple Pay in minutes!I love it. Basically installing this app gives you a savings account with a BSB and also a Mastercard debit card. The Mastercard is physically mailed to you but it functions instantly through Apple Pay. You can also withdraw from an ATM. I paid for a coffee using my iPhone for tap and pay about 4 hours after signing up with the wait only due to the time it took to transfer from my commonwealth bank account. You tap and pay through your iPhone using the finger print sensor or Face ID for security. Internally the app really helps you to organise bill payments and allocate savings into blocks they call savers. You could have your pay transferred in. Now I can come out of the surf with my Apple watch on and buy a smoothie without going back to the car to get my wallet. This system will be disruptive to bricks and mortar banks..Version: 1.0.7

Best bank ever!!I have been using Up since the end of 2019! I can honestly say I have never been with a better bank and I will not be leaving! I love the flexibility of being able to open as many saving accounts as I would like. I love the round up feature, I have saved so much money rounding up my purchases to the nearest dollar. I have used the chat feature a couple of times and have had a reply usually within an hour or 2 and they’re always so polite and helpful. I like how it shows your available and spendable account balance, so I know how much I can and cannot spend! It makes it so easy. I could go on and on about every little feature and how much I love it but I don’t want to bore anyone haha! Seriously though, if you’re on the fence about joining Up, fall off now onto the Upside!!.Version: 3.2.0

Best bank- always raving aboutHi everyone at Up! Thank you for your hard work to bring the App out/ bank and making it happen. I’m terrible at saving, still not the best but I have been so much better. I love the functionality of this app, it has been a life saver, game changer and overall just makes banking fun. I don’t think I have anything bad to say. I love the new features you had added - the spendable: this means it only shows that I can spend until my next pay and whatever bills I have coming out. Makes my life easier. And the next thing, showing what I have to pay until my next pay. Thanks again for thinking about your customers ❤️❤️.Version: 2.1.6

I. Am. In. LoveI have been a loyal ANZ customer for over 10 years and have never faltered…. Until now. Everything about UP is just ahead of all the big banks in terms of it’s app features and all that it offers. I have used this for about 6 months now after my partner showed me, I was very confident I wouldn’t be converted but I was so wrong. I am completely converted. Everything about this bank makes my life easier but also it’s so fun…. Who would have thought… banking would be fun 😭 UP bank DID that!!!! You know the updates that banks send in an email about incoming features that we don’t read? Up uses a tree graph and simplifies it for us simpletons and I actually read it…. Because I enjoy reading their updates. They’re changing the game and I am here for it. I love it!!!!!!.Version: 2.4.30

Stable, decent features, simple to use, but not ironed out.I tend to look at the app differently than a regular user would do. My view is that from an mobile developer perspective. The app has been surprisingly good and stable, which is my #1 concern. Also, they’re quite transparent with their goals that you can see on their so called The Tree of UP. For the computer nerds like me, UP provides a way for nerds to make their own banking app (or other product) with data from your own UP account. For the non computer nerds, imagine it as importing your transactions into an Excel sheet but with your own website/app instead of Excel. Its not ironed out yet. I do find bugs such as the Face ID going in an infinite loop (killing and restarting the app solves it), send message with a GIF crashing the app (memory leaking) and the split payment page turning into a page not found (restarting app solves it). But in a day to day usage, I tend to not notice any issues. Their way of contacting is only by chat, which can be found in the app. In general, the replies are quick. I haven’t had something happening where I needed immediate contact, but I can imagine that it wouldn’t be a great experience in that case because it’s chat only, on your small phone screen. I’m sure phone calls happen too but it seems like they only want you to use that in case your card is stolen. Still, 5 stars from me. I enjoy the app. Well done!.Version: 2.4.11

Keep the UPdates coming!Thank you for adding in-app verification rather than via phone number!! Makes life a BREAZE overseas!!.Version: 2.2.8

A Fun Banking App?!I was looking for a banking app that was more functional and modern, I was jealous of all my friends who had accounts with banks that sent push notification updates when money is spent and displaying remaining balance etc. and wanted to be able to make savings accounts much easier as I am an impulsive saver¿ and need more accounts than most banks are willing to set up. Up was the perfect solution, modern UI, amazing tracking and saving features, widgets EVERYTHING I NEEDED. Plus their newsletter is surprisingly good (considering they’re a banking app) - I recommend Up highly to everyone I meet and the vibrant bank card they send is a conversation starter every time I go to pay for something..Version: 2.1.8

Highly RecommendBeen using Up for over a year now (heard from SOTM), and must say I’m impressed with the new features they’ve been rolling out. Very innovative! Although I’m using this as my main spending account, I created personal and joint savers for short term goals. Keeping track of spending has never been easier. I like how the Up Team keeps us in the loop- there’s a record of every update, maintenance, news, etc. My partner recently joined, and even though there’s too many features for him to comprehend, he loves how simple it is to setup and use, and push notifications work for every transaction. Keep up the great work, team!.Version: 2.3.1

My savings are on a roller coaster that only goes UP!!Up is AMAZING. Not only is it an awesome innovative bank with relevant and useful features, it’s a whole new approach to money mindset - a journey. Since switching to Up I’ve stopped using pesky BNPL services with the ‘Maybuy’ feature, put money towards a house, and stopped dipping into my savings to buy silly purchases thanks to lockable savings accounts. My wish list is simple, though. First, I wish there was a ‘spendings’ account tab. While I like the ‘Up’ as my home tab, I wish I could access spendings as a normal account on other banks. And opening multiple spendings (I.e, two everyday accounts each with their own cards) would be a blessing. So I can have an account for online shopping and bills on seperate cards!.Version: 2.4.2

Standout great bankBeen with Up practically since they started. What’s not to like? The best customer service experience you can have, bank or otherwise. They always pass on rate rises for our savers. They constantly take on feedback and ideas, and they actually act on them. I really don’t have a bad word to say. The savings and budgeting features you get for free with Up are things you’d usually have to pay subscriptions for in other apps. If there’s one downside, it would be not being able to deposit cash anywhere. In todays world that’s barely a problem, but I do have an open account with another bank purely for that purpose. You can’t go wrong with this great bank..Version: 2.5.4

Would recommend so many good featuresA lot of capabilities in the Up app. I like how it intuitively copies the account details (saves time) and you can make different savings accounts. The ability to split incoming regular payments into transaction / savings accounts is really good too. A feature similar to my old ING account is the roundup feature - I like this. I really like how you can input upcoming bills and balance reflects what is actually spendable after taking that into account. It also just looks clean. The breakdown of spending categories is great. Only downside is sometimes when I go back into the app on a page that uses Face ID it keeping loops the face authentication and requires me to close the app. This is infrequent at least. I’m also going to keep my old ING account and pay some utilities from that given their cash back scheme but if they ever get rid of it then I’ll transfer 100% to Up. Overall very happy. Messaged support in app and got a human response within 10 minutes :).Version: 2.4.9

Unmatched!I had always banked with another big Aussie bank and was content. Up completely changed my view on banking and saving. I’m living overseas now and feel frustrated that other banks can’t provide what Up does. My favourite features include: unlimited savers, 2 Up, upcoming expenses and overseas card exchange rates. Can’t wait to come back to Aus and save with Up..Version: 3.2.0

Can’t Rave Enough! 10 Stars worthy ⭐️My partner put me on and I’ve been an upsider for a year now and omg! It’s actually fun looking at my banking and saving up. My ADHD mind thrives on the way everything is set up. This is the bank to use if you want an easy and convenient way to see all your savers, set saving targets, and do maybuys so you can save for what you want. Additionally, you can get a really good interest rate on all your savers even if you spend your money 🤯. Their team is responsive, helpful and polite to your queries or ideas. And as if it couldn’t get any better; for all the coffee lovers out there, if you buy a certain amount of coffee you can get one for free from Up!!.Version: 2.4.13

My favourite bank so farI find the app easy to use and love the savings that are done for me without me even thinking about it. I forget about the savings so when I’m short and need some extra cash, there’s always something there which is really handy during these tough times. Every transaction shows up straight away and I always know where my money is going. I love having that visual. There’s also no delays in money coming out so no mishaps with any charges, even when I tap and go. Everything is done in real time which is so much better than doing an eftpos transaction on a Friday, then the money disappearing from your account straight away but not actually coming out until the following week. Please don’t change how you do things. This is why I left my other bank of 15 odd years for this bank..Version: 2.2.18
