✓ UP lacks fundamental services and does not meet consumer expectationsIn our current society, it is of consumer and industry standard to offer 24/7 and fast response times, especially in dealing with urgent and important matters. UP is the king of dragging matters out, I’ve had the worse possible contact from UP. It’s like they don’t remember your a customer. Additionally, their buggy app will cause you to always see funds missing and reappearing or just missing and not appearing, without explanation too. I just recently had a payment of over 100 dollars taken out of my account due to a ‘Osko glitch’, causing my account to reside in negative figures making the account unusable until further resolution from UP Bank staffers. The live chat just takes hideous amount of time for a response and the call centre just puts you on hold for hours. This simple issue has yet to be resolved and I am still in complete confusion as to why and how UP has made two back to back mistakes, in incorrectly charging me, then giving me a automated response, which did not answer my problem. ✓ It was Over before it even StartedWas sent the Link from a friend, Installed the App first on my Android and attempted to Signup. Continuous Unexpected Error message displayed upon entering the Verification Code Sent to me..... I then proceeded to install it on my iPhone to see if I could get it to work....to which I just received the notification that I have to many Failed Verification Attempts....To be honest I’m probably not gonna waste my time attempting it again so to make sure this doesn’t happen with your other potential customers you might wanna get on to that pretty quick.....Seemed like it would of been a decent app to use to which is a shame......UnverifiedUserVersion: 1.8.1

✓ No Good Customer ServicesI have been actively using my Up card and online services for more than a year now. Honestly, it is one of the best user friendly and great design banking app to find whatever I want easily, provide split per % option and many more great features. However making good product is the first phase, unfortunately sustain a good customer services is another part. My account has been stolen and two unauthorized payment has been taken from my account 2 days ago. I have disputed the transactions and reported to the CS team immediately, deactivated my card and I am still waiting the CS service to respond to me what to do. I haven’t received any comment or feedback about two days and still no answer.. I was literally planning to move all my savings, our family budget, regular bills and subscriptions payments to UP account. After today, sorry if there is no guarantee to keep my money safe in the account, I will not do that anymore. Especially in the banking industry, I need a response….Ozan AnılanVersion: 2.2.12

✓ Great but Clunky user experienceI love Up. Love the creativity love the vibes. What I do t love is how hard it is to navigate. There are so many tabs, tiny words, accounts, information and options for transfers that default to wrong accounts. It just needs some help to make it more simple, take away all the steps so there’s a much easier user experience. Some suggestions: Have all of your accounts on one page one under the other or on your home page (much like commbank). Take away the tiny slider and tabs at the top. Make a drop down menu to the left to navigate other pages. I just feel like everything I want is behind three other steps. I have tried to transfer on the spot so many times and accidentally transferred to the wrong account because it isn’t clear. Would LOVE to help make this app better becuase I do love the concept!.EzzymooVersion: 3.3.2

✓ Lacking modern banking services, useless customer supportNot only are you unable to use online bank statement verification systems standard across most all banks online or physical, the customer support staff are condescending and useless. They will tell you their ‘future system’ will be way better but no timeline and doesn’t help customers currently in the slightest. Regularly has massive outages on app including the inability to access your card information for extended times with shutdowns of customer support centres so they don’t have to deal with complaints. The interest rate for savings account has steadily dropped to <10% of inflation this year so you’ll literally lose money with Up bank. This bank is a gimmick at best, a dangerous waste of time and potential security risk at worst. Do yourself a favour and go with one of the many other better ‘online-only banking’ options out there..UpbankisshitVersion: 2.2.17

✓ Customer Service and Interest Rates declinedI used to love this bank and this app. Recently, things have taken a turn. The customer service portal is completely useless. I lodged a fraudulent charge 5 weeks ago and have been asking for updates for 3, which is entirely unacceptable. I haven’t even gotten a response other than “someone will contact you soon” nearly 20 days ago. When I first joined this bank, it had really competitive interest rates. Now my other two accounts have higher rates, and given the level of service I receive, I am very close to transferring all of my money out of up and into one of my other accounts. Do better!!!
