✓ Harem Roguelike Dungeon DefenderHave to admit, it was a little off-putting at first knowing the game pretty much has nothing but female characters. If you can get past that aesthetic though, then there’s a lot of content here for $3. Rogue-like deck building game more similar to Slay the Spire on PC. ✓ What a gemAmazing game for people who love the grind and dungeon building. Its like an idle game crossed with dungeon keeper. My favourite thing is the prestige system, I play to unlock things and try new strategies, would love more ways to craft, like 2 silver stars made from one silver star. Please please add extra star levels for all buildings and units, being able to work towards silver star (6star) things is so amazing, but I feel once I hit enough of them theres nothing left to upgrade till the next run. If we had a system that went from Bronze 1 to gold 5 with each additional star being a mix of the stars below it would add endless tactics and planning even after unlocking everything. ✓ Great game (and no required microtransactions)The gameplay has a fun loop and is pretty easy to pick up but takes work and learning to master is great. What really has set this apart to me is the content that has been added FOR FREE and the fact that you can earn all the gameplay elements in reasonable time via gameplay. Play the game more? Earn stuff faster. Play a bit each day, earn the stuff. And not talking you wait three days for a single little upgrade like the main basic upgrades and monsters and rooms are easily unlocked within a few hours and then more play can unlock a lot of the others quickly. You Need to pay only if you want cosmetic stuff OR to unlock stuff early. No need to spend anything otherwise, don’t want to spend anymore than to get the game? Don’t and you can enjoy everything at a good pace and free updates with new modes. This is how mobile gaming should be not the microtransaction for basic gameplay wasteland we live in. ✓ Great gameReally enjoying this game, haven’t stopped playing since I bought it. Only suggestion I have is maybe make some more artwork for each of the Dark lords? When drawing a dungeon card, I thought the character therein looked like Lilith, (rest, train, ect) naturally when I played another dark lord I was expecting a different look in the cards, but they look the same. My only advice would be to those saying it's too hard or too slow a grind would be to go on the reddit page and read some of the guides on there if you're struggling. ✓ Fun game but why does it crash?I love this game it’s fun to play and sink some hours into or just play it while waiting to play other games. After the last update I noticed my game would crash whenever I tap a tile to move on and I’ll have to launch the app again. ✓ £3 for well over 30 hours of gameplayI'll start this review by saying this game has incredible replayability for just £3 In addition to it's unique lewd art style, the game has incredible depth and strategy behind it with simple mechanics that can be evolved into advanced strategies. When you first play you will be hooked by all the rooms you're finding, the monsters you're hatching, and the relics you're earning. Eventually you will start mixing and matching your traps, battle rooms and monsters to find an enjoyable strategy that works for you. It is only a young game and is no stranger to flaws. The biggest problem I have with the game is that the damaging traps are very underpowered and scale terribly, simply levelling and buffing your monsters provides way more damage than traps, the best traps by far are the debuffing ones, mostly hunger and curse. These traps allow your monsters to deal huge amounts of damage while receiving far less. My strategy is to pair these techniques with Tania's 'burning will' ability, which essentially applies a stacking double damage boost to all monsters. Using this strategy I breezed through to day 100 on all 10 difficulties. Another issue I have with this game is that you can only earn 1 rebirth level per game, of which you need over 100 to unlock all the permanent upgrade items. And at potentially hours per a single run, it will take a very long time to unlock all the game has to offer. This rebirth level gain cap also leaves no desire to go for high scores on runs, since your rebirth payout will be the same and you will only earn 1 pack..Version: 1.2.2

✓ A great game with some problemsThe game is very worth it for 3 dollars and it has great pixel art and a good concept. But it relies heavily on luck where the beginning gift can screw you over with a buff for the enemies, lose gold, or just be very unappealing. The event spaces are crucial but they can also be elite battles that don’t give relics like regular elite battles. My least favorite thing is that the enemies can just move through your troops towards you and 2-10 of them will destroy you. However the battles are very fast paced so when you die it takes about 30 min to go back to where you were earlier. Overall, very good game..Version: 1.2.1

Still a few translation hiccups for English-speaking players (couple of un-translated descriptions in “Event” choices, making them even MORE random...). Only one balance issue that seems a bit too punishing: dungeon expansions always happen at the far left, leaving your master exposed until a battle room can be built and defenders put in place. Have lost numerous games in Round 1 of a new chapter, only because a hero slipped through to the empty back row. Also: the obsession with tiny, bouncing, pixelated breasts is pretty childish and one sided. Maybe add a few male dungeon masters, to at least PRETEND you acknowledge female gamers, or even gamers over the age of 14? Game is too good to have its appeal be limited by such silliness; plenty will dismiss it from the screenshots alone, and others will uninstall at the first jiggling bosom..Version: 1.3.7

Some folks on here are complaining about unlocks being slow, but that’s part of the gameplay loop. Unlocking new game features is really satisfy and a reason to keep playing. Surprising depth to the strategy involved. You slowly make your way to defeat the end-level boss. Win, and you get a permanent relic that can boost your game now and future plays. Lose, then you level up your Lord, sometimes even gain rebirth points that will afford you similar boost items to help you on your next game. It’s a fun little turn based game that grows on you each time you play. It’s only marred by some mistranslation of in-game card descriptions, some words don’t make sense which can spoil the strategy I had in play. ✓ Absolute top notch gameI tend to regard mobile games as relative to their medium, typically... “Great for a mobile title” and such. The realities of a digitally distributed title made to run on phones sold for a few bucks just means that a mobile game has to sell itself on the quality of its ideas over quality of their implementation, typically. This game is easily better than the vast majority of AAA console/PC games, I’d say. Despite the limits to its graphics and sound, this is a shockingly deep game with complex, balanced, and well designed mechanics that provide extensive replay value and a very satisfying experience. I’m probably going to get IAP just because it feels absurd I only paid 3 bucks for a game I’ve enjoyed more than any 60 dollar title since... probably Skyrim? Game isn’t perfect, first 12 difficulty settings are way too easy, and it’s a niche genre so it won’t appeal to everyone, but a no brainer if you like titles in this vein. Very practical to play just for cover price, but the QoL/Convenience/Cosmetic IAP makes for a nice tip jar. Really can’t reccomend enough.Version: 1.8.1

✓ Addictive rogue like Dungeonlord DefenceYou are a dungeonlord , You are trying to survive for as long as possible Each round you survive you get to choose a reward from a new monster to a new trap room or battle room or even equipment for existing monsters You build your dungeon , place your monsters , defend your dungeonlord and the further you get the more abyss points you are rewarded, these are then used to buy permanent upgrades for future games from new monsters to awesome equipment to passive bonuses... Be warned the game is ADDICTIVE , it’s a hybrid of tower defence, hero defence and rogue like .... I am a gamer , and quite frankly this game is worth buying ... the other game from the same designer is o.k , the UI is a bit clunky, but it doesn’t WOW like this game ...I bought his other game purely to support the development of future games... that’s how much I enjoyed this one. Whilst the idea is simple, there are some serious advance mechanics , combinations and extras.. the more time you invest into the game the more in depth the game becomes .. plus after you manage to get past level 100 on each difficulty you unlock the next level difficulty for future games.. I have got past hard level 6 yet ... the difficult really ramps up after round 60ish .. Buy it , play it and hate me for making you get into such an addictive game :).Version: 1.4.6

✓ Incredibly slow to unlock essentialsLove the gameplay but there is too much of a paywall for essential upgrades like auto-skill. This should be a basic BUILT IN feature but devs got greedy and put it in a massive lottery pool to unlock. The currency required to get them comes by extremely slow and the odds of getting the auto skill unlock are minuscule. It most likely takes dozens of hours grinding achievements (basically 100 floors) for a tiny chance to unlock some necessary features. There are lots of gameplay styles I would like to try but the grind is far to insane for the little payoff. We already paid money for the game. It’s not f2p but the way the game is set up treats you like it. Heck even f2p games give you more in game unlock currency faster. This game should add daily log in bonuses or something to help alleviate the grind. Include auto skill for everyone without having to unlock or make unlock currency easier to get and I will change my review. Otherwise I sadly would not recommend this game unless you really wanna grind for long and pray you get the right loot... Edit- as much as I wanted to give a low review for the slow grind the game is just fun even with all its defaults... still is tough to recommend for those who don’t like the grind but it is a fun game so I had to change my review. The gameplay is more strategic in how you place units, make certain rooms into traps or battle rooms, and even further. ✓ Fun idea, long grind, confusing skillsFirst off this is a good game, it rewards good planning but you also need a little luck. The vampire lord is way too op due to her self healing. The two biggest problems with the game is that first, it is way too long of a grind. A long play session MIGHT get you 10 rebirth points and even if you use those in the shop you may only get cards that don’t help you in the long run. It simply takes way too long to unlock things. The second problem is your character skills. I only have 3 characters and some of the skills feel like they don’t really do anything. Charm, for example, feels worthless. I can’t tell when enemies have the charm debuff and as a result makes higher mana skills useless if you don’t know an enemy has charm status. An indication over an enemy’s head easily solves this. It’s the same with the burn status. Can’t use a higher level skill to follow up on burn if I can’t tell an enemy is burning. Besides that, there is a minor issue of translation. Events will give you choices that say something, you pick one and it does something but differently. For example, some text boxes say “get 1 random monster” but then it either removes a monster or converts one..Version: 1.4.3
✓ NOT free to play after initial purchaseThis is an amazing game, with so much amazing content — I was forced to stop playing after the “new user login rewards month” ended, however, because so all the content is accessed via purchase with a premium in game currency, or real cash. The premium currency can only be gained through the initial login rewards period. I’ve exhausted it, so unless I want to pay (AGAIN, I’ll note), and pay through the nose (the expansions and booster packs are NOT on the cheap side), I had the pay wall and couldn’t progress any further. Huge bummer. Btw, I’m an established grown up with a real job and a decent gaming budget, and this game — which I WANT to support — is too rich for me. ✓ Game is playing okay on iPhone 6 :DUpdating my review from last time. The game crashing on startup has been fixed and the game I love is playable once more! It still crashes occasionally but nowhere near as often as previously. Also I managed to recover my lost save data! Turns out the game had uploaded my save data from before the the game breaking crashes to my cloud so I was able to download my game progress and continue from where I left off. Parts such as boss ability FX, which doesn’t show up (e.g. charm) or shows the wrong one for its effects (e.g. vampiric impulse). All of the dark lords only have a single animation for all spells and attacks which was rather disappointing. Mechanics wise it’s mostly flawless. Now for the only part I want to complain about so far. In App Purchases. I totally understand games having in app purchases. However how the hell are you going to have like 20 different in app purchases with the main add ons being $18 a piece. I sort of feel ripped off in a way. All I want is to have every opportunity to better my gameplay and you’re selling items that should be $5 at $18. I would have much preferred a bundle package that gave everything for $60. That should have included 5 successions for monster and facilities. 10 saves for monsters and facilities each. And 2 exclusion for both monsters and facilities. It should have included the skins and the items you added to it. Idk I’m a bit disappointed in your in app purchases being so costly. Oh and those gems you get when “Leveling” your main account should be awarded at certain amounts when you lose. Such as 10 for every 100 in game days you survive. With a wide range of tactics to employ, the fun novelty of being a dungeon boss, and the amount of content despite the fact that the game is still being worked on should earn it a place in the spotlight. I could continue to go on about how it makes me sick that ‘candy crush’ is more popular than this. (like why? just why?) However, that would make this already lengthy review far too long and tedious to read. So, in summary this game deserves five stars (and probably an award) and you should get it, it can take some time to work out the mechanics, but once you have it’s a hard game to put down. ✓ Utterly FantasticThis is my first ever review so bear with me, but as the title says, I find this game utterly fantastic. It starts off slow, let’s the player figure out how everything works and the importance of certain monsters and traits, then rewards the player by giving them devil stones for higher scores. Players may be turned off by the story modes thirty day limit since I too feel like it’s too short of time to experience everything, but that’s how they trick you on a marvelous way, since once you get one ending in story mode, you unlock the dark lord Luca himself to play as in normal mode to get upgrades for him in story. I can’t even begin to explain how happy I was when they said that. And before people yoke on about needing to pay money, you really don’t. They even tell you the first time you enter the shop that everything can be earned through devil stones, which I already described how to get above. ✓ Very surprising, very funDidn't know what this was when I bought it, took a chance and I'm glad I did! Combines cards, tower defense, and rpg/rogue like elements into a really engaging experience. You pick a dark lord (unlock more as you play) and then pick a card to determine what you do in that round. Then you either get an event, a battle, or a chance to upgrade yourself or some of your monsters. You level up as do your monsters and even your rooms/traps as well. You get gear to equip and relics that give you permanent buffs for your run. If any of this sounds good to you, pick this game up, you won't be disappointed!.Version: 1.3.6

There’s still a few bugs with some of the cards not quite reading as intended and a few values are wrongs, but I think the dev has proved they’re working on improvements. Absolutely recommended so moving from 2 stars to 5. Original review: The game has crashed three times in the first half an hour. Right now you can highlight the card for each day through the main map, which makes it so much easier to plan and remember the best route. (Thank you for this!!) I ask that you implement one more feature to this! I would like it so that you can toggle to “auto-enter” each day that you highlighted on the map. This would make it so that after you collect your rewards of each day, you automatically enter into the next day without needing to manually select and confirm everything. This auto-enter feature would make it much easier to grind for hundreds of days, and would be a -MASSIVE- quality of life improvement! Thank you!
