Agenda: Notes meets Calendar for Positive User Reviews

Has everything but one of the most used features in the name of the “Notes App”Where are the check boxes? Everything else is great, even without the premium. I don’t think premium is even worth it, but are there checkboxes?.Version: 17.0.2

Great AppThis is a wonderful app for keeping on top of your notes. Highly recommended for a busy life..Version: 4.0

Simple, but so many options! This app really has great features, I love being able to organize notes and projects this way. The text formatting is so great, and organizing notes, adding due dates, and being able to put specific notes and to do lists from multiple projects on the agenda is so convenient. I get scheduling, note taking, and to do listing all in one place. I would love to see just a couple more features: support for handwriting notes (eg with apple pencil or other stylus) and linking relevant documents/attachments to a project. If I could do those two things I would probably never use another note taking/to do list/scheduling app again. Adding new themes/color schemes would be nice too, maybe different color themes or a dark mode. I’d love to see what new features come out as development continues :) Great app! Keep it up!!!.Version: 1.3

I’ve tried so many note/project organization apps...This one is simple and feature rich! Effective for organizing things the way you want, for the tasks for those projects that matter. You really can organize everything here! Work and play, and everything in between! It has a GTD task similarity, but implement it’s own unique note-taking flair and presents it in a way that’s relevant to the task that matters with ‘On The Agenda’. Loving it! Honestly, it took me so taking many months to find the right note-taking / project management app... Apple Notes was great with all it’s improvements, but just too simple... Notion was just too much having to ‘manage’ little things, felt more like a social media/ webpage blog ... but then came across AGENDA through Apple’s Featured App... downloaded it, used it for free for a few hours... and WOW! Even the free app itself is really FEATURE RICH! But because I saw how good the free app was, I bought premium first-day because I knew I had to support such a great development team for the great work they did on a FREE app! So use it for free, or support them, your choice. But this app is priced fairly for the things you get... it’s the real deal in so many aspects!.Version: 11.1

WowI don’t write very many app reviews. But I figured I would since I am loving this app so much. I’ve always struggled to properly take a meeting note, and to find the effort to store it somewhere that made sense. I’ve now been using this for two weeks. I have two separate sections set up. One for home and one for work. I use it mainly for work currently. It has made me 1000% more organized. It also ensures that I capture everything that needs to get done. My workflow is that for anything that comes out of a meeting I mark as a to do item. Then at the end of the day I go through all my meeting notes and transfer the to do’s to my to-do app. Once I’ve moved them over, I mark the note as complete. It is a game changer. Also one a recurring meeting, the ability to click on the notes from a previous meeting, that is worth its weight in gold to me..Version: 12.0.2

Wish the text layout was betterFantastic app but the text layout is holding it back. Headings need to standout more and bullets need more punch. Could take a few hints from Bear on this. Love the tagging and project structure though. Very comprehensive application.Version: 9.1

Brilliant appFantastic note taking app where you create the potential of what the app can be! The UI is great and for me the free version is far from limiting. Definitely considering paying though..Version: 1.3

Perfect! This app is so good it's insane. I've tried all sorts of apps for my tasks from sorted to things 3 and omnifocus but this is by far the best I've come across, especially for my workflow. Can't believe nobody thought of doing it this way before. Love it! Just wish it had a way of sorting by tags. Other than that, no complaints..Version: 5.4

Productivity EnhancementI really really want to love Agenda. Coming from an Evernote user, Agenda takes an interesting approach to task, notes, calendar, and history for all these. I sincerely appreciate the workflow and layout. While it’s not entirely intuitive (i.e. formal GTD system), I had no issues picking it up and getting going. That’s probably one of its best features; the ability to work it the way you want. The ONLY reason I deleted the app, is the lack of image support. I imported some notes from the stock notes app, then realized that all the images would not come over. I understand that it’s a focused note/task/history app, and images may interfere with that method. An image is sometimes the quickest and most convenient way to get info down. I can completely see myself coming back and subbing to Agenda in the future if image support is implemented..Version: 1.3

Almost BrilliantI love it, please keep developing this, I look forward to a later version, but for now it’s relegated to my trash 😞 Simply because of the way it syncs, if it wasn’t for that I would have bought the full version but until that’s rectified and I can use it across my home and work devices, it’s just not for me, even though it is awesome 👏.Version: 3.0.1

Great appI use Agenda almost every day at work. It’s reliable and easy to use. I’ve subscribed since it was created and plan to do so for the foreseeable future. One day, they’ll support text in different colours and it will be perfect. Until then, it’s almost perfect :) Highly recommended..Version: 9.0

Great App, Has a lot of PotentialBeing able to pin Documents to your various posts, however, the documents should be active and not just something to view..Version: 5.5

Frustratingly close to perfectI really like the premise of this app: the ability to file notes to a date is a fantastic idea and I love that it syncs with Calendar. Unfortunately, there are two areas that it really falls down for me: importing and stylus use. I would love to be able to import documents, agendas and plans, annotate them and file them. Then there is the Apple Pencil, a great tool that is ignored by this app. I will continue to use Notability for these features. Sadly, I can’t then import my notes from Notability and file them in Agenda! Hopefully these features will appear down the track!.Version: 2.2.1

Exciting to have Agenda on iOS!I’ve been using Agenda on MacOS for a couple of months. I’ve tried various note taking and to do apps over the years, and none of them really worked for me. I’ve found Agenda to be just the right mix of structure and flexibility. It’s taken a while to find the way of organising things and using it that works for me, but now I’ve cracked that it’s really working for me. I can’t see myself being without it now. And now the iOS app is here, the missing element is complete! Agenda on iOS works smoothly and elegantly, and it’s great having my notes with me wherever I go..Version: 1.2

Good idea but could be expandedI love the combined calendar-notes function. Buy for my notes I also need to insert images and use handwriting. Then the app could be an actual ultimate notes app..Version: 2.1.3

Pretty decent but buggyI like the concept and the pricing model. But it's definitely bugger than average in general and super buggy when used with SwiftKey. I'm not sure what kind of non standard stuff they're adding to their text fields, but it's the only app I've ever had problems like that using SwiftKey. The autocorrect is completely bonkers, it will straight up refuse to output some of the keystrokes I enter (like "..." For instance... It will only let me add one single period 😅). I'd most likely pay for this app, but as it is, I'm considering un installing it instead. Bummer!.Version: 3.0.1

A quick note to the devsI love what your team is trying to do and applaud your efforts. I do want to make a note that the app doesn’t give a great first impression. The intro splash screen is not necessary for a note-taking app. Past the intro screen, the animations when starting a new project and generally tapping any buttons are somewhat slow and feel unresponsive. I would like a snappier feel as note-taking, especially on a phone, usually needs to be done quickly. I do like the fact that you provide a tutorial and include the option to skip it. Best of luck guys!.Version: 2.1.3

I’ve been looking for this app for years!I can’t believe someone took everything I always wanted from personal time and info management and put it in one single application. The description they give about managing the past, present and future is very spot on! (Although a bit too philosophical though lol) I used Dynalist for info management but was very annoyed at how you can add dates but no calendar entries. I was looking for an app that could be as easy to use as Dynalist but with that capability. That search ended with Agenda! You not only delivered what I wanted, but even more. Agenda definitely makes life easier! I use this app with Fantastical 2 since both connect seamlessly to Calendar and Reminders. It’s just crazy how much order I can get with almost no effort... The app is so good sometimes I catch myself spending my free time looking at my agenda notes just for pleasure lol. Thanks Agenda!.Version: 11.0

The best tool to prepare for meetingsIt took me some time to understand the concepts in Agenda, but once I figured out how to use it in a way that suits me it become irreplaceable..Version: 10.0.5

Fantastic App, needs more share menu optionsLove this app! Answers many needs I had. Would love the ability to share to or from this app on iOS.Version: 8.0.2

Brilliant, simple, beautiful, fascinatingThis changed the way I think about projects and access information. It makes notes smart with a cleverly simple twist. It’s more powerful than attaching a date to a note; it teaches me to think more about how notes relate to each other as I create them, assign them to past and future days and link them to each other. The Agenda view is excellent and the app is superbly designed (the dark theme is gorgeous). It’s a top-class app in terms of performance and polish. Yet, I think its best feature is that it quietly nudges my note-taking habits away from one-off thoughts and toward connected, progressive ideas. It makes all the difference..Version: 4.0

Like Notes, but better interfaceI’m sure there’s a lot of integration with my calendar that I haven’t explored, but I use this primarily as a beefed-up version of Notes with a better interface and a dark mode. I’d like to see them start to eat Evernote’s lunch a bit more - support for tables would be very handy indeed!.Version: 5.1

Meetings and Management TasksAs an IT consultant leader with back to back meetings, I love the idea if tying notes to meetings. Only Agenda and Noteplan have this setup. Noteplan is really good, but needs some quality control and usability cleanup. My only two “issues” with Agenda is real estate/screen space management. Too much white space, especially on a small screen laptops. Perhaps option to tile notes? The second one is tagging is a bit behind time as you can’t tag a specific portion of the paragraph or page. Otherwise, great application with live syncing with Reminders and calendars..Version: 11.2

Agenda was built for business owners with TONS of notesI came from Bear app. I was a power user. Sorting notes by hashtags seemed great. Until I had collected over 1000 notes in 2 years. Until I needed a structured process for not just taking notes, but thinking forward. Have you ever had that one idea, which you quickly noted... but never followed through on? Here’s probably what happened - that note got buried. Never to be seen again. Agenda changes that. Create an idea, set a FUTURE date. It’ll show up on your date based “newsfeed”, aka Agenda. P.s. I LOVE the payment model. Pay once and you OWN the app + and get free updates for a year. A year later, YOU choose if you want another years worth of updates. This is a beautiful model compared to making users “rent” apps that rarely get any updates. Keep it up Agenda team, you 💯!.Version: 6.0.1

Please add support for Google CalendarI would prefer to keep using Google calendar. I know Apple forces it's own apps for maps, email links etc. But if there is an option it would be great.Version: 5.0

Works like my own mind! This was so easy to learn. I dumped everything swirling around in my mind into notes and it’s organized like a timeline! Very little effort. I am even make notes for a future date as a “to do”. Such a relief to have it out of my head and stored on my Mac, my iPhone and my iPad. The best anti-anxiety remedy! Instantaneous syncing so I’m good to go from one device to another on the fly. The text styling is wonderful. Make a text note or a checklist, bold or italicized. Love the Calendar sync. I can plan in real time with my other commitments. I bought the full program and don’t regret it at all. Looking forward to future developments..Version: 4.0

UnlimitedThere are so many features. Unbelievable! Just try a test run of the premium version and be prepared to be blown away by what all is available. The best part of all the incredibly versatile options is that it's not right in your face or overwhelming at all. You don't have to know anything about all the technical and extremely individually suited preferences options, if you don't want. Easy to jump in and get things organized, yet at every turn there's opportunities for more. Agenda never stops upgrading, putting out new features, enhancing, and giving top notch support. I'm so glad I've continued this far with Agenda in their journey, it just keeps getting better and better..Version: 13.0

So far so goodI really like how it will link to my calender. Taking notes by date is what I was looking for..Version: 4.0

One of the most comprehensive productivity tools I’ve come acrossLike most folks, I've spent more time than I should trying to find an app (or bundle of apps) that allow me to easily manage my time. Reminder lists, to do lists, note taking apps, calendars, etc etc. I’ve been using Agenda for nearly a year now, and can verify that not only has it met my somewhat lofty productivity and time management needs, but it continues to grow and develop new ways to integrate with more tools and into more of my regular tasks- making it a one stop shop app for nearly everything productivity related. Plus, it’s lightweight enough to work on any device efficiently and effectively, from a MacBook to an iPhone. Great tool and a great app. Thank you!.Version: 6.0.1

Finally I found a replacement for my previous note appInstalled Agenda some time ago after also downloading quite few others as my previous note and management app, which I had used for many years, was no longer being developed or supported. It took me a while to get grips with the power of the app. Its integration with other apps and its ability to tag items for searching is its real power. If like me you are looking for an integrated management organiser, this it. Persevere and give it some time to understand its power. Really relieved to have found Agenda. Fantastic app!.Version: 9.3.2

My favourite note taking appI love how simple, but powerful this app is. It has replaced my other note taking apps and task management tools..Version: 11.2

Life changing at workOverall, I’m thrilled to have this app!!!!!! Nothing else is like it exists (linking note taking to calendar events) and it’s an indispensable for keeping my work organized. I am more than happy to pay for this application and I love not being forced into subscription pricing!! That said, I hope the iOS version eventually gets to the same level of polish as the Mac version.... The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because text entry on iOS is frustratingly inferior to the Mac version of Agenda. For example, I am constantly recorrecting style assignments that render incorrectly or seem to change on their own, and simple things like setting my text insertion point at the end of a line (using touch) is crazy hard. I fear these iOS shortcoming are so fundamental that they threaten Agenda’s long-term survival. If I hadn’t tried the Mac version first and experienced what the developers were capable of, I would have given up on the iOS version by now over text manipulation and rendering problems. Because I mainly live on an iPad, I hope I don’t have to suffer this silliness much longer..Version: 3.0.1

Ramping up to greatnessSince its its release only a few months ago tremendous improvements have been brought forward. In particular on additions, and new commitments to expansion of the url/X-Callback scheme, I wrote on their Community Board: "oh the things we will do! It is great to see the rapid progress being made (even though everyone wants “more” the hard work is more than evident - so thank you!)" Heartily recommended. Give it a try - I find that it is among the very small handful of "Productivity Tools" that can truly increase your productivity..Version: 2.2.1

Apple pencil supportWould rate 5 stars for handwritten notes using apple pencil please.Version: 9.1.3

Powerful AppI particularly like the ability to import notes from Apple Notes, making the switch over super easy. The forum the developers have created is also quite useful for finding neat work-flows that add to the functionality of the app. It would be nice to see some tighter integration with proper task managers, such as Things 3 - but to do it right would take both apps working together. Imagine being able to insert a “Tasks Panel” at the bottom of a note that has your to-dos from a meeting, and the list is automatically synced between Things and Agenda so checking it off in one, checks it off in the other. Again though, this would take Things creating a system and Agenda implementing it. Would be a powerful addition, though..Version: 10.0.2

HELP... RECEIVED!!Revised... upgraded to 5* simply because of their superb customer support. Additionally, after emerging myself in their product description screens and checking out the feature set, this should quickly become my go-to tool for all the massive note taking that I do. Great concepts and I’m hoping to soon report how much it improves the existing tools I use today. Evernote and Dropbox users pay through subscriptions to get basic vanilla ice cream without the toppings. I personally have been a less-than-satisfied paid user for both Evernote and Dropbox apps for about a decade. Time will tell, but I can imagine using Agenda with ICloud storage to replace both Wherevernote and Dropbox because of Agenda’s generalized organizational, time-stamping and tagging capabilities. And to those looking for organizational ideas like I always am, if you haven’t checked out the online following on their support page, you’re in for a real treat! Thanks again, Alex, appreciate the help! ___ Cannot login to post my issue on the blog. It says it cannot verify my login Paid for app premium features, but app features will not load. Keeps asking me to login. After logging in, asks me to pay for premium features (which I’ve already done), so I click restore purchase. Then it asks me to login. And repeat. And repeat. And repeat..Version: 5.0

Greatest App ever madeFrom daily routines to gym notes to diaries and journals, I can do all of that here. 😊 thank you 🙏.Version: 5.0

Exciting!I really love this app. I’d been dreaming of something & I think this is it. iPhone was so basic upon first arrival & Apple has done a wonderful job sticking to simplicity. That said I felt it was time to ratch it up a notch when it comes to productivity as I felt so pulled apart when trying to move from calendar to notes back to calendar then over to reminders. I fell like this work, to bring this tools together while still having independent uses for each, while also trying into built in apps (like adding to calendar) is unprecedented in iOS. This app rocks! Kudos I hope apple buys your framework & just integrates it..Version: 2.1.3

Love it but slow syncingAbsolutely love the app functionality but it seems to take a while to sync across devices. Today I made some changes on my Mac. It’s been at least 15 minutes and the changes haven’t appeared on my iPad after opening the app. My iPhone was much quicker about syncing. There’s no background app refresh syncing so won’t start until I open the app. This makes the widget pretty much useless since it won’t automatically update. This normally isn’t an issue since I’m normally creating notes on my phone but when I move to any other device, this shortcoming becomes much more apparent. Speaking of widgets, I would love a large one with relevant notes that shows not just the titles but also some of the content of the note itself. Great job with the subscription model that lets you keep features. It definitely creates an incentive to subscribe at a later date without the fear of losing current functionality.Version: 16.1

Love itAmazing app. The sample notes related to Nepal warmed my heart. Lots of love from a Nepali. Keep growing. ❤️.Version: 2.2

Just one more thing...This is a nice note taking app. It’s sort bare bones in terms of ways you can organize the text, but that’s fine it makes things simpler for me. But one feature (at least in the Mac version) I would like to have would be to be able to write text next to an image, not just underneath the image. Something similar to wrap text. So I’m able write notes about the image itself, separately from the rest of the notes. That’s the one thing I would add to this already solid app..Version: 4.0

The simplicity is incredibleI’m coming from Awesome Note. I’ve used it since the iPhone 1. It’s great, but it lacks work flow capabilities. Agenda slipped right in and was perfect! Just the right amount of things you need. Nothing extra, nothing fancy. The syncing isn’t something I even think about. It’s. Just. Amazing. My only request to the developers is maybe adding swipe to delete notes in projects instead of dragging over to the trash can. It makes single hand use a little difficult..Version: 12.0.2

Version 9 takes it to 5 starsAgenda’s calendar focus is a time saver compared to other notes apps. Its other features are good too (I use the premium version). It’s a pleasure to use on both MacOS & iOS (and it syncs reliably). However, the lack of bin had stopped me from using it more widely (it was just too risky for some uses). However, version 9.0 has sorted this out. Agenda now deserves 5 stars. My rating is not just for the product “as is”, but also for the aggressive product development..Version: 9.0

Took a while but......finally got it. Going to stick with this for all notes in 2019 and you should too..Version: 4.0

Awesome app but needs some fixingSo I have been using this app for a couple of weeks to replace my notes. It’s great for organising notes under different categories, associating notes with a specific date, love the layout, love the functionality. But I’m getting a bit annoyed on how if I writing on bullet points or Bold (for example) if I make a mistake and have to erase it, it goes back to normal body text (or erases the bullet point) and i have to add it again. While I understand the functionality behind it, people make mistakes and having these features disabling after every time I write something wrong, can be really frustrating. Another thing that I noticed is that when I’m taking notes while on split screen (agenda on top of another app more specifically) sometimes it does not show what I just added to the note, but if I move it up and down it appears. This is just a minor bug. I would love to see this fixed, as it is an app that I’m enjoying. For reference, this is all on my iPad Pro 11”. Haven’t used it that much on the iPhone..Version: 4.0

Absolutely the BestThis is the best tool ever. I receive many requests and tasks every day. Agenda allows me to quickly create reminders and calendar meetings to allowing me to make a few clicks and then have piece of mind that the tasks will never be forgotten and my day can be scheduled accordingly. COO Stephen.Version: 4.0

Ok but needs enhancementsThe experience of editing is not good, also make widgets!.Version: 10.0.5

Great way to organize my work!Honestly at first the app was a little confusing, but after using it for over a year now for my daily journal at work I don’t think I can live with out it. Really good job. If there’s anything that I would like to see added it would be being able to ask Siri to add notes from last spot including time of. Also if it could be added with Apple Watch. Thank you for not making it a monthly subscription..Version: 13.1.1

Wonderful app, needs collaboration / sharing featureI use this app for planning trips etc, it is really nice. A few things I would like to see are Collaboration features (like how nots work) Maps integration (putting from/ to address would add a map) Project grouping Adding time for dated objects.Version: 6.0.1

Timeblocking + Notes = AwesomeI’ve always found time blocking to be the most practical way to organize and manage tasks (for me, at least; YMMV), and the ability to create and attach detailed and flexible notes to those events in my calendar supercharged this approach for me. Plus, the ability to keep all the premium features released during my active subscription period is an awesome idea. You never feel shortchanged, forced to maintain your subscription because you need some of the premium features for your workflow..Version: 10.0.1

Great app, needs a few tweaksI love that the notes are pinned to dates and tasks can be added easily but it needs a way to create recurring tasks and events in the app..Version: 2.1.3

Great app. But further room for improvementA tag browser will be very useful. And the ability to insert images Location tag will be useful too.Version: 2.2.1

Unique but needs one featureAgenda is unique among App Store apps. I have been searching for a calendar based note taking application for a while and Agenda is the only one that I have found that comes close. There is a need out there for it and Agenda addresses that need. However one of the features that I and others have been wanting is support for Apple Pencil and handwritten notes. The ability to add handwritten notes would make it so much more useful to me. I like the app but I doubt I will invest any more in it until support for Apple Pencil has been added..Version: 2.1.3

Will keep posting until review sticksAgenda is among the best note taking apps, usually reliable, not too complicated and with a good set of free features. I would buy the pro upgrade, but not at almost £15. At a time when the world economy is on its knees, this is too much. Nic.Version: 10.0.4

Great! This app is awesome. It’s EXACTLY the kind of app I need— a notes app synced with my calendar and reminders, with capabilities to add images, links, and even tags within the note. That being said, it would be really nice if this were available for Chromebooks and Windows. I don’t have a Mac, and I’m probably not taking notes on my phone in class or a professional meeting. That extra feature— along with the ability to sync all those notes— would make this app pretty much perfect. I would be willing to pay to have universal device syncing. All in all, this app is an amazing versatile tool that anyone could use, and I highly recommend it..Version: 6.0

Great improvement for your Notes!I enjoy note taking and Agenda definitely brings it to the next level!.Version: 17.0.2

PLEASE make it available on WINDOWS!The app is amazing, i love the time centred approach, the UI is clean and easy to use. Please we really need this on WINDOWS.Version: 13.1.1

PromisingI liked it enough to pay for it. I like the idea that I can write meeting notes and items for next meeting quite effortlessly. I use drafts a lot so it would be nice to have the ability to create a note in agenda from drafts in a future version. Copy and paste is best option for now. I’d like to be able to search and just snippets of the notes where the tag is found and be able to search for the unfinished tasks. I’ll stick with it. I love apps where the developers are adding cool new features regularly..Version: 2.1.3

Doesn’t show up in App Store search. Take period out of name? This is a heads up for the devs/App Store publishers of this app: If you type in “agenda” in the App Store search engine, the app does not display as a result among other apps with “Agenda” in the title or description. It could be because the App Store name “agenda.” has a period at the end. Just a guess. Also I wanted to email the devs directly but I couldn’t find any contact details other than the support forum. You might like to make it easier for users to contact directly. Admittedly I haven’t used the app itself yet. But I’m excited to try it and possibly recommend it to others, as soon as it will actually show up in the App Store search results when my friends want to check it out!.Version: 13.1.1

OMG! Fab u lous!!!What a fantastic app this is. I took some time to think about the features (some of them anyway! There’s a lot) and how I might use them. It really is worth spending some time to get to grips with it, because it is, imho, truly amazing. The ability to group your projects / notes in whatever way is appropriate for you and link notes to calendar items or reminders is just awesome (or link many other app items - I link some stuff to things 3 as it can be used as a great document repository for your todo items in there). Tagging is well executed too so you can find stuff easily. Better than anything else I’ve tried. I have never felt so organised with my work stuff. I paid for the full iOS version (I can still see everything on my Mac but I tend to use my iPad & iPhone more at work) but the free version still allows an awful lot of awesome stuff. Absolutely love it, great in app support forum too. Highly recommended. Peterw.Version: 9.2.1

Excellent but I’m waiting for more featuresI’m a physics PhD student who’d love to use this all the time but i have a few features that would make it killer for me. First, I really would be over the moon if LaTeX equation rendering were added. No note apps have this, and it would really set it apart academically! Second, it does need the ability to include images and pdfs Third, the ability to archive notes and projects is a big missing feature App performance is great on iPhone, although not as good on macOS Mojave, but that’s not so relevant Overall it is an excellent stress free note taking app that lets me organise notes without feeling overwhelmed, but it does have some missing killer features that would make it a 10/10.Version: 2.2.1

Daily planner/Bullet JournalI love this app. I use it as my daily planner/ bullet journal. It’s helped me be so much more prepared for the day and very productive. I’ve come up with a layout that’s perfect for my needs. Of course there are quirks and bugs but the support team is pretty quick in fixing them so far. I’ve been using the app since the beginning of the year. One thing I would like would be a he ability to create sub folders inside of projects. For instance, with me using Agenda as a daily planner I create a plan for every day. I would like to when I finish whatever month I’ve completed to put that month into a folder labeled after that month. I hope that makes sense (lol)I think that would extremely helpful. Other than that great app!.Version: 5.0

Perfect for my workflowI have been using Agenda on my Mac for a few months now, and having an iOS companion app is wonderful. I use it now on my iPad and iPhone. And the ability to link info out of Agenda directly to a calendar appointment is sweeeet! I am not a power user of the app by any means, but I love creating projects with simple checklists that I can then move to calendar tasks with ease. It is exactly what I need to keep track of multiple projects and multiple checklists. I also use it like a simple text editor, often composing information first in Agenda, then transferring it to a document, email, or text. I love the simplicity of this app!.Version: 1.3

Amazing App!This is an amazing app with a lot of features. I highly recommend this. It works as a great agenda. Some of the features are the same as Microsoft OneNote, but Agenda has a lot more..Version: 5.0

No Other App Like This OneThere are still rough edges here and there. I like the tagging system but auto completion of tags would have been nice. There are some typing errors with tags sometimes where you have to go back and rewrite the tag as mouse moves unexpectedly. URL links are little too sensitive sometimes so that it makes it difficult to edit the notes. Apart from all these negatives, there is no other app like this one in the App Store. Agenda is a note app that can completely replace your note and todo app. It has become my go to organization tool. Agenda is where all my information goes by default including todos. It integrates with Apple reminders and calendar app nicely. It’s still a 5 star app for me and totally worth the premium it charges. Any updates and bug fixes would be icing on cake as it’s already pretty good app...Version: 9.1.3

Getting better all the time! This has become my go-to for planning and note taking. They seem to clearly listen to customers as features I’d like seem to appear with every update and palm rejection for pencil was a big one for me. Keep it up, fantastic..Version: 9.1

BrilliantThis app just keeps getting better and better. Will be definitely buying the next 12 months of new updates when my sub runs out, and both iOS and Mac. Patiently waiting for tables though..Version: 11.2

Unbelievable potentialIt has one of the most functional and beautifully designed UIs I’ve used recently, and the crossover of task manager/ journal/ calendar/ planner is an exciting new idea in a sea of me-too personal organiser apps..Version: 1.3

Note Taking and Planning Just Got AddictiveI once hated taking notes and writing plans on paper, keep searching through paper work and never finding what I needed. With Agenda I am now loving it so much I am get addicted to it, it brilliant as if by magic I updated my notes on my iPad and I had Agenda open on the iPhone then my iPad updates appeared on the phone seconds later. Great App!.Version: 2.2.1

Just amazing...This app is utterly amazing. I’m a strong Calendar5 guy, but this is winning me over. However, the ability for Agenda to sync with Apple Calendar and Reminders makes it compatible with Calendar 5 and probably most calendering apps that do the same. THE ONLY DOWNSIDE is that Agenda doesn’t have a PC app or browser integration. O man this would just make it. I love my ipad and iPhone, but having it for PC would be great. A workaround I discovered is that if you buy the Reflector 3 software from AirSquirrels.com ($25 CAN) it allows you to screenmirror your ipad or iphone to the PC. It’s a little cumbersome to start up but then you're away. Don’t waste your time with other mirroring options, this one is the best I’ve tried them all. Still PC integration would be appreciated. I have not had any crashing or any of the issues described in other reviews. They must be user specific. Great app. Thanks..Version: 9.3.2

My favorite app!I use Agenda on daily basis on iOS and macOS! I won't be able to handle my work efficiently without it! No monthly subscription, which is a really good point! Keep up the good work guys!.Version: 14.0.1

SuperLovely App works well I have it on all three devices iPad, iPhone and iMac, the app is a god send for workers, I’m a gardener and book starting time, work and customer on the agenda, booking in my workload, and as I do my gardens I then fill in the time spent what I did and the cost, then take them off the agenda as I’ve done them, only the work that needs doing is on the agenda. At the end of the month I look at last months and heh presto a list of customers with gardens completed, and prices charged, I just copy the information down into my numbers app, it’s simpler than before when I used evernote or onenote after I’d completed the garden, and now is my much preferred method, and it’s reliable seems like it’s made for those who book their work in, and it’s not expensive..Version: 1.3

No timestampOf all the things they did, they overlooked auto timestamp. The notes automatically set the date but not time. So you will have multiple notes for each meeting with the same date but not sorted with time. Doh! And it was supposed to help with daily task journaling (like the Franklin Covey system). You can do a workaround however, by linking your notes to your calendar events. But that is bothersome and time-consuming especially if you need to create the calendar events to do this (e.g., you received an impromptu phone call which you need to log notes for, to refer back.).Version: 11.0

G8 APP but......My only frustration, probably because I am missing something, how do I increase the font size??.Version: 8.0.2

Loving It!This is definitely the missing link for me :-). I like it much better than the calendar app alone where I had to remember which items went together or forgot things when I made a note and forgot to put them in my calendar. This just makes it it easy for me to make sure I’m ready for each Doctor’s appt. or vacation by doing a quick rundown of the scheduled items or reminders leading up to it with the written notes to remind me why I put them on the schedule in the first place! Lol..Version: 9.1.3

Wow... I’m impressed.Read quite a few reviews claiming the app is redundant, but I gotta say... it’s quite brilliant. Simple enough to get work done fast and easy, but deep enough to sketch out beautifully detailed projects. I’m using this on Mac and iOS and it’s super slick. One of my favourite parts is the touch at support. Great app overall!.Version: 5.5

Brilliant appSeamless integration with my calendars has been a game changer. The “One the Agenda” and “Today” features are really great, as are the in built to-do lists. I highly recommend giving this app a try, especially if you use calendar events to run your week..Version: 14.1.1

Great app so farBeen using this app for a few weeks now and I love the fact that you can attach the note to a calendar event. It’s simple to use and elegantly done. The fact that it syncs between all my devices is another bonus! One request / question - is it possible to attach a photo or image to a note? Often times in our meetings we would doodle on a white board and it would be great to be able to add that image to my notes. Or the option of adding a handwritten note would also be awesome!.Version: 1.3

A real agendaThis thing actually works like an agenda. It’s not just a calendar but it combines the power of reminders, notes and all sorts of other powerful stuff. Did I mention that the search engine rocks, the interface is very well thought out considering how many features there are and that the developers seem lovely? For some people this may be overwhelming but for me it is absolutely awesome. I can just shove everything into what feels like a good old notebook. And then search for it, or browse it chronologically..Version: 14.0.4

Finally on iOS!I’ve been using Agenda on my Mac for a while now and I honestly love it. It’s the most logical way of organising my life and it’s simple and streamlined without looking cheap. The only reason I hadn’t cancelled my Evernote subscription was because there was no Agenda app but now I see no reason to keep it. My main request would be integration with Google Calendar as I don’t use the regular calendar app as I can’t seem to find any way to change the default..Version: 2.0

Best note-taking app for workNotes are attached to dates and calendar entries so you can easily find notes from meetings or other events. iOS and Mac versions available. I have tried all the major note-taking apps and now only use Agenda. Note: does not take handwritten notes yet..Version: 4.1

It does everything you wantOnce you spend a little time looking at the features you realise that the app has everything you need and more for fast, comprehensive and attractive note taking..Version: 18.0

Three Stars just from the feature list.Probably another star or two after using for a week or so..Version: 1.3

Great appThis brilliant app, which I have on ios devices and a Mac, will replace both DayOne and OmniFocus - and, I believe do a better job because it brings a lot of information together in one location. It links to my calendar and allows me to create calendar events - I have the subscription version. If it introduces the ability to add images and documents, it might even replace my note app, but I do like Bear..Version: 2.1.3

Link to iPhone featuresI noticed that I do a lot of note taking when I am sending text messages to people, I usually go back and forth to my messages to get information, dates and times from the messages. It would be a great to be able to pin those messages into Agenda, so you could open up your project and see you contacted and when and go straight to that conversation in your text messages from Agenda. Cheers Derek..Version: 5.0

PhD + ADHD friendlyIt’s the best app I have found for organizing not only myself and my general agenda, but also for each and every one of the projects I’m working on. Very intuitive. Easy to use. Fast to adjust to. Really worth it..Version: 13.0

What I’ve been looking forHave been following these guys for a while. It’s a great app for brining structure to my unstructured thoughts. Looking forward to inline images and files. Collaborative projects will make this app complete for me (until I then get even more engrossed and then think of something else😀) Works over iCloud which means I don’t have to worry about multiple sync “services”.Version: 1.3

Notebook and Daily Planner had a child.I love Agenda because not only does it have all of the appropriate features to be a Daily Planner…such as adding events or written plans to your calendar, sync feature with your other calendars, sorting by date—but it also has the proper features for a notebook. The ability to have Headings, paragraph formatting, lists or outlines, and tagging keywords or topics for school. I like the category feature…I can sort by category and subcategory which I love. Suggestions: more personalization options such as colored font and other fun features! But I love Agenda, thank you!.Version: 13.1.1

Exactly What I’ve Been Searching ForI’ve always wanted an electronic app/program to take over what I do in my paper planner. But calendar apps never allowed for my lists and planning. I love that I’m able to integrate my ICal planning with the lists and notes on Agenda. Very happy with this app, and even happier with the ideas from the developers allowing things to carry over in the paid version and what not..Version: 4.0

Lovely butI don’t want to delete old projects, I’d rather have the facility to archive them. Clearly I am an otherwise happy user..Version: 6.0.1

Encrypted note-taking app that is a work of artAgenda has always been a great app, and I absolutely love it every time I use it. The polish, aesthetics, and attention to small details make it truly a work of art in the form of a note-taking application. What initially held me back was the lack of end-to-end encryption for keeping my notes and thoughts private. However, with the recent rollout of E2E iCloud Sync, I immediately upgraded to premium and have been using it daily for a few months now. Here is what I love about the app: - It is marketed as a date-focused notes app (for dated meeting notes, for example), but I have been using it almost exclusively for taking undated notes. It has replaced and improved upon everything I used OneNote for. - The app is a joy to use, and the navigation on iOS and Mac is amazing. I initially struggled with the always expanded notes, but this changed once I realized that navigating within projects only requires clicking on the title of the project. - It has amazing quality of life features beyond navigation, including shared notes, pinning and sorting, tags, exporting, markdown, and every one of these features is implemented beautifully. Here is what I want improved in this app: - I prefer to keep work and personal notes separate (important for context setting), but this app is such a joy to work with that I have started using it for storing non-work notes as well. I would like there to be profiles in the app. This app has quickly become one of my most used and beloved writing tools. Not only has it replaced my OneNote usage, but with E2E encrypted sync (with Advanced Data Protection enabled), it has also replaced Standard Notes for keeping personal notes..Version: 18.3

I finally found the one...I have tried a number of the various to-do apps and both Evernote and OneNote as a way to track my work across multiple projects. Not one of them even comes close to Agenda. The simplicity and clarity of the timeline and keeping the various history of each project together and to bring them forward or push them back in the timeline as needed is brilliant and able to link direct to Calendar. A great product which has made a huge difference..Version: 3.0.1

The best native app for journaling!Agenda is not just another note-taking app. It’s a purpose-built journaling app for people who go places, meet people, and get things done. In Agenda, dates, events, and people are first-class concepts (meaning the app understands and integrates with them). Its lightweight note “card” format is very practical for day journaling vs. the classic “document” style format. Cards can collapsed and expanded, marked as active, completed, or even split and merged. Keep up the great work Agenda team, this app is one of my favorites!.Version: 14.0.3

Excited to see what's aheadUseful app, but there are some missing features that would be very useful to me. For example if I am in a meeting and I setva checklist of things to do, it would be extremely useful to have individual due dates for each if I chose and for those to go into a view which showed all tasks, from there to be able to mark them off and also view the original entry they belong to. Also hand writing support would be very useful too. Currently I'm having to hand writevin another app, copy the text into here. For to-dos I'm writing my meeting notes in here and then copying checklist items into another app and it's becoming combersome and confusing. Another really important feature that's missing is a created and edited date per note. If I go back and want to see when I created a note, or want to search for notes by created or edited date I cannot. This scenario often comes up for me anyway, and should be separate to the pin on agenda feature. However pinning on the agenda doesn't seem to work right now. I think your doing an excellent job, and have a fantastic product. I've recently been working on an internal tasks, to dos and notes web application for my company and know the hard work that goes into these products. You have a unique product, and I think it's great but could really really do with these features. If any of these are at the bottom of my to do list it would be handwriting as the rest are really needed for my work flow and I can imagine others feel the same..Version: 2.2.1

Promising, but still needs lots of work. This is a very promising app. It allows you to create and organize notes and sync them with your calendar. This last feature, which is a premium feature, is really useful. However, at this time the functionality is limited and some really basic features are missing. There is currently no way to include images or files, although the developers have promised this as an upcoming feature. The last thing is that it seems the developers are only focused on the Apple ecosystem. It would be nice to have an OS independent Web interface, but I do not know if one is being planned. Despite these shortcoming, I plan to keep using it and hope the app will mature to fulfill its potential..Version: 2.1.3

Brilliant Powerhouse In Place of the Calendar Note fieldI have always used the note field of calendar entries in Outlook and iCal to keep items that I want to cover in a meeting or critical info for an appointment. The trouble is, this gets a bit buried and is very limited. Agenda adds this capability and much more with every version release. Some use Agenda for note taking, but I use Devonthink and Typora for that, with Agenda filling this wonderful spot of being my ‘agenda’ for meetings. Great app and the free version will even meet most people’s needs. Five stars!.Version: 14.1.1

PerfectI love this app. I’ve tried a lot of productivity apps, and this one fits perfectly in my workflow. I use spark for email, Apple reminders, and now this for notes. It integrates perfectly on IOS devices and MacOS devices. The linking between the three apps just works perfectly on all of them!.Version: 16.1

A great appThe app is great and helps me a lot! but will there be a windows desktop version? i have on my phone and my ipad and i’m wondering if you’ll make a windows version..Version: 2.1.3

Does not follow Privacy practicesUpdate: I swear there are only 2 apps on my phone that have asked for calendar access, and neither one was Agenda. But maybe it is an Apple problem, maybe Settings/Privacy doesn’t update immediately, maybe it takes awhile. And I have removed the app now so I can’t check. Sorry if I jumped the gun. I installed this app and it asked for access to my calendar. I permitted it and when I saw it brought up all the calendars shared with me, I wanted to rescind that decision. But when I went into Settings to turn sharing off, it was not listed as an app that had requested access to my Calendars! Bad behavior.Version: 13.1.3

I firkin love this appUsed them all, still use a few essential ones like DEVONthink, sometimes go back to Notability. Discovered Agenda by chance through a bundle that promoted premium for $5. Worth every penny and will keep renewing. Brilliant developer, extremely well thought out app. Integration is at a high level. This is what the macOS is all about. I wish I had discovered Agenda sooner, …maybe because I didn’t look around, being satisfied with my work flow. Glad I did, bundles are great for discovery.Version: 16.1

Similar to a things 3 but significantly cheaperI always found Things 3 to be the best app for getting yourself organized, but could never convince myself to spend the money to have the app on the IPhone, Ipad and Mac (I have it on the phone only). Had they bundled it, I’d probably have fall for it. Enters Agenda, that offers a similar set of features for a fraction of the price, even for free for some more than basic features, and even offers a well thought price structure when purchasing the app for the phone, the iPad and the computer. Well done..Version: 1.3

Good solid clean app.It is a good solid clean app. It works well. I think it would become really useful if one could attach files (in particular PDFs) to each note. Is this something you are planning to add in the near future?.Version: 3.0.1

Great! Lots of useful features, smooth. The Note emphasis on this calendar app make it super valuable in my use of calendars, but Santa please bring us a (perhaps scrollable) calendar widget in addition to the awesome Note widgets we have already..Version: 16.1

Tried a bunch, this is the best yetI have tried a bunch of different note taking apps and had mixed success with most. Agenda finds the right balance of being really simple to use but still offering good features. Easy to keep organized if you like to plan it out or to move notes or projects around if you want after the fact. I don’t use linking to events at all but I like using the reminders for action items after meetings. On the Agenda is great for meeting preparation: make your notes ahead of time, assign it to the right date and it’s there when you need it. Excellent works folks, keep it up!.Version: 7.0

Small issue with the appI’m having an issue where the notes I be putting from my Mac are not syncing with the app on my Iphone at all.Version: 17.0.2

Quality App & Free? I bought it...Without thinking because this approach to sales is just so classy! I want to reward this behavior as much as possible! And the APP? It’s perfection and easily worth the upgrade to premium! It is exactly what I’ve been wanting from a notes/tasks/etc. standpoint! Wow! Devs... Congrats on your app release! Wishing you lots of luck and $ 🤣. ONE LAST THING...when you get around to making improvements or adjustments...can you please incorporate the black theme? Please? Now that I’ve experienced iPhoneX’s OLED screen...my eyes have been spoiled! Your app is beautiful but just imagine it in pure black on an iPhoneX? It would be a stunner!! Congrats again! Love it!!!.Version: 1.2

GreatThis is a great app - full integration with Apple Pencil to draw notes would make it awesome.Version: 5.2

Must Have App!! Especially forI can’t say enough great accolades for this app. I use it for taking meeting notes and organizing it to the respected meeting. You can link notes together and create reminders within your meeting notes. It does a great job syncing between my phone, iPad and work computer. I have my notes available at all times and I’m able to have forefront all the projects that are priority. Adding documents, images and links is a snap. Also minimizing agenda items that are complete, but there to review if need be. You won’t be disappointed!.Version: 9.3

Innovative productClever integration of notes, tasks and calendar. For me the key things that would make it perfect are Apple Pencil support for hand written notes and sketches and the ability to set reminders and repeating to dos - both common task manager features..Version: 1.3

Lovin’ itI downloaded Agenda a while back, played with it for a little and thought: this is really great, I just wish it fit my needs. I took another look tonight and decided my earlier self had it all wrong. I came back to look at Agenda because it’s beautiful. I spent longer looking at the capabilities and realized I hadn’t spent near enough time with the app earlier. I could say I’m impressed, but the truth is, I’m excited about using it. I did buy the premium features and I think it represents a good value. But the real kicker—the thing that let me know I had made the right decision, was the music that plays when you get the premium features—literally felt like a party. Awesome job, guys. Don’t ever take that music away! Thanks for a great app!.Version: 12.0.2

Great app!Exactly what looking for, so good! Highly recommend.Version: 13.1.1

Fantastic App for JournallingAlthough I wanted to get into journaling for years, I had a lot of trouble sticking to it. I tried several other apps but the subscription model made them untenable. Agenda has premium features but it is fully functional without premium and it is improving at a rapid pace. I have been journaling consistently for over half a year because I love Agenda so much. The concept of organizing primarily by calendar and secondarily by project works perfectly if you’re working on time sensitive projects and take lots of meeting notes or you’re trying to keep track of health issues and doctor appointments. Get in, the water is fine. Dark mode is beautiful too!.Version: 5.5

AmazingThis will be a “I have never written a review before until now” type of review, which is true as I have never taken the time to review an app I’ve purchase/downloaded in the past. After using Agenda for the past week, I decided to make an exception. Agenda is a solid performing useful piece of software. I use it for my work and personal life. For work, I created a work log so I can start my day out with knowing what I have done and what I need to do. I connect my notes to a calendar event so I can track what items came out of the meeting and tasks which need completing. At the end of the day I review what was completed and note what still needs to be done. Rinse and repeat. I do the same for my personal life. I can do this with other apps too. Agenda is different because of the ease of use and all the great features included. Excellent job guys. Keep it up..Version: 1.3

Exceptional App!I don’t often post a review but I have to say guys that this is an exceptionally good app. As a Coder myself and a productivity nerd this looks to be the holy grail of note taking apps. This takes passive note taking and makes it active note taking. Kudos..Version: 15.0

Excellent! This is the notetaking app I’ve been searching for! I’m a grad student and this app has managed to blend the organization system of my physical agenda and notebooks with the convenience and portability of an app that I can access from my phone and Mac. Instead of having to change my workflow to work with other notetaking platforms I’ve tried, I love that Agenda is flexible enough to adapt to my existing workflow and can keep everything organized in one place, from my research projects, extracurricular activities, and my day-to-day task-lists. I’m hooked!.Version: 3.0

Looking foward to new features!Hope its a great year for the dev team to provide us with the features we are all waiting for. Otherwise a perfect and unique app!.Version: 10.0.5

Great App!I found this app on the Mac App Store and loved it, so glad its on iPhone now. Really great way to organise notes and thoughts for videos and projects..Version: 1.2

Great App, but be Careful - UPDATEUPDATE This company is very impressive and I’m very satisfied with the measures they’ve taken for my concerns. They added extra measures to ensure you don’t lose the notes you’ve written when you are working across two devices. Very exceptional customer service. I’m hoping this will help myself and others whenever using this awesome app. —— I’ve been really enjoying this app for a couple months already. This has an amazing interface and great features. Dark mode looks clean and you’re able to organize your notes differently and much better than what comes with your phone. Unfortunately, their syncing is terrible. Think about it, you poor your heart and soul into the thoughts and ideas you’re typing. You finish it up and look at a pretty solid idea. Close the app, you go about your day then you come back to right before you started to flow. BS. No way to retrieve your previous thoughts. Might as well speak it. I was super excited to even pay the premium because they’re kind enough to let you own it than subscribe when I first downloaded this, but another round of lost ideas just killed it for me. I’m hoping they can fix how these notes can be backed up. Perhaps an offline mode and then it syncs back when you’re online. Idk, something so you don’t lose these great ideas. I personally wouldn’t want to use Dropbox Paper, but they’re syncing is immaculate. I want to love this app. Please fix this..Version: 9.1.3

Everything is alright but Cloud support is BadMy question if I choose to use agenda Basically i am forced to use iCloud and Dropbox why so. In my particular case i like PCloud than any other cloud space because their cloud space is pretty easy to work with and many people I guess use PCloud. I guess its time for Agenda team to include PCloud, google drive one drive and more options so that every one can use the app at their own terms. Thanks Pk.Version: 15.0.1

Issue With Templates - Fixed :)WOW! Received a response right away...and the bugs have been fixed. I’m impressed!! Everything is working great so far; thank you!! I upgraded to the paid version and when I try to save or manage the templates, it kicks me out of the app...each and every time...kind of inconvenient... Other than that, so far so good....Version: 12.0.1

Very usefulI use this app all the time. Highly recommended.Version: 18.3

SuperMade the move from Bear recently and couldn’t be happier. A far superior (and more friendly) payment model and notes platform. I’m really excited for this apps future..Version: 1.3

More and more impressedI have to wonder if the people who are giving bad reviews took enough time to learn to use the app. At first I was not impressed and did not understand the brilliance of Agenda. I even deleted it thinking it had nothing special to offer. After a few days of wondering why it got an Apple award I figured I must have missed something. So I downloaded it again for a second look. I'm so glad I did. The app is really amazing. The features and syncing you get for free will be more than enough for most users. Paying for the upgrade, a one time purchase, will help support ongoing development. Agenda's approach is unique and you'll need to spend a little time with it to see its genius. After initially feeling it had nothing to offer I now have it installed on my mac, iPad, and iPhone. I'm using it for my notes, shopping lists, research notes, and journal. Oh, and yes, for my agenda. I'm looking forward to seeing how it continues to develop. I haven't been this intrigued or felt such promise for an app in a long time..Version: 2.1.3

Version: 17.0

Great app, listens to customer feedbackThis app is part of the daily routine now. It gets better with every release. Variable spacing the best new thing..Version: 5.0

A great app or project and program managersThis app was a recommendation from a host on Macbreak Weekly. I use Agenda when I’m really trying to focus on some client issues and need to have a repository for referring to things. Agenda has often times shown me when I need to incorporate a company wide means of communicating and I do a lot of prototyping here. As an example I used to create weekly roundup for client and then the most immediate things would go into a master doc and ultimately that master doc went from being an email and is now a shared company document where my team works to deal with the most pressing issues. Agenda helps me to focus..Version: 3.0.1

Can’t believe I’ve found this gem of an appSearched nearly all evening for a productivity app and most of them want a silly expensive subscription. This app is stellar.Version: 13.1.3

...patience paid off 😄....downloaded this app, and paid straight away as I like what it does and more importantly how the business model works, yet I’ve not even able to use it. The app won’t allow me to login to my account after numerous attempts, even after resetting my password, still no joy. As I said, I’ll patiently wait for the next app update, and will then change my rating accordingly. **RATING CHANGED** 😄 Login issue sorted, thanks Drew. Cannot wait to put this app to great use. Keep up the good work team 🤝 😃 Review updated 👍🏾😃 Well done login sorted. Thanks to Drew & the team..Version: 2.1.3
