✓ Subscription is unacceptableNo game should be able to have a WEEKLY SUBSCRIPTION. You are absolutely baiting for someone to accidentally sign up. Would I pay $2.99 one time to turn ads off and play this? Yes, but instead you are losing tons of money because you are trying to over reach. I think weekly subscriptions should absolutely be banned from the apple store. Now onto the game itself, it’s relatively simple and feels mostly the same through each level, but is pretty fun for passing time and getting new weapons. Would have co tongued playing if it wasn’t for so many ads all the time and the idea of people’s kids accidentally charging $20 a month for a game that isn’t advanced enough to be worth $10..Version: 1.4
✓ They love moneyThe game it self it quite fun and I can see how they could continue to develop this game it to something good. But... the monetisation is ridiculous. This is the first time I have seen a game ask for a week subscription, which will turn out to be about £20 a month. I would rather pay a triple A game on a console for that kind of price and what you get for paying that price is nothing really an extra gun and some armour, oh and no ads! ✓ Good basis for a game, terribly intrusive adverts.The game itself is simple and addicting, with a nice variety of guns to give you something to work towards. However, the sheer volume of ads is ridiculous, as well as the idea of paying £4.99 a week to get “add free” mode. It offers a free trial of this mode for three days, after which it will automatically charge you £4.99 a week if you forget to cancel it. It’s predatory, and should not be allowed. A single payment of £2 or £3 would be more reasonable. despite these issues I’ve managed to reach level 100 and unlock every gun except from the daily login guns, so I hope they sort ad issue and add more content soon..Version: 1.0

✓ Stuffed with adsI saw other reviews about the frequency of advertising in the app but I thought it was just a minor issue. Boy was I wrong, they put ads in just about every loading screen they can find, all the ads are at least 30 seconds and only a few of them allow skipping. In fact most of the ads intentionally put the exit button next to the store button so if you have big fingers or aren’t paying extra close attention it’s impossible to get out of the ad. The few seconds of gameplay that I do get without ads are legitimately fun but it’s not worth the constant cycle of interruptions I get along with it. What’s worse is that if you want to get rid of the adds you have to pay for the “elite package” which isn’t a single payment option, ITS 6$ A WEEK. I mean paying 6 dollars once is already practically stealing my money, but 6 dollars a week is just stupid. If they ever get around to fixing their add problem or even lowering the price of the elite package to a single payment system I’d definitely redownload the game but until then it’s just another ad-ridden app trying to steal your money.Version: 1.4

✓ Message to the developersHad your app for weeks and played every day for +1 hour. During this ads have continued to get more frequent. Today unfortunately they have become so frequent that It negatively impacts the experience and I’ve uninstalled. ✓ Fun but audio issuesI like a majority of Ketchapp’s work. Just like the other games, this one is quick to pick up and easy to move up in the ranking. Replay value is kind of low once the bosses become repetitive but kudos for adding Rick and Morty and many other evil movie character cameos. However this app lost a lot of credit for me when I realized that even if I have my phone on silent some ads will start blasting audio. So PRO TIP: don’t play this one at work. other than that it’s fun for the first few days. The ad interruptions are relatively low. So thumbs up to that. ✓ I love it but to make it better...I absolutely love this game and it’s the greatest one ever. Although to make it better I suggest the ability to look back at your previous bosses on the blacklist. Also when you upgrade enough of your gun you should be able to EVOLVE your new powered up gun. So when you evolve your gun the range, damage, and especially bullet count would dramatically increase.(Well an extra 1-2 bullets for snipers 2-3 for sidearms and 3-4 or 3-5 for smg’s. Also I would like to see assault rifles which has a shorter range than snipers but and lower damage but compared to the smg it would have lower to equal fire rate but an increase to damage. ✓ Great Game RuinedThe actual core game itself is very fun, fast-paced, and addicting. The concept is simple and the game overall is just really fun to play. But I can’t recommend it at all due to the horrible use of ads and monetization schemes implemented in the game that just make the whole thing an irritating and disappointing mess. Ads constantly play whenever you die (which happens a lot due to the fast paced nature) or watch a video for a retry or for some more coins. However these ads cause the game (for me at least) to slow the game down and lag a lot, which causes more deaths, and more ads, slowing the game down even more. And sometimes, the game would just completely freeze loading in an ad or closing one, and I’d have to constantly reset the game. Honestly I liked the game enough that I would throw a couple bucks to get rid of the ads.......But it turns out you need to get a WEEKLY SUBSCRIPTION of $6 DOLLARS PER WEEK!!!!! This is the worst case of money being favored over players I’ve seen in a while and it really puts a bad face on this enjoyable game. But I CANNOT recommend this game to ANYONE unless they cut the subscription crap out. By the course of two months I would’ve spent the same amount of money for a game to play on the toilet, as a full priced AAA game for my PC, and only for the game to be a little more playable and for some incredibly overpowered weapons added to make the game boring. ✓ Before you downloadThis game is super fast pace and super fun. It definitely is worth money on the App Store even though it is free. The controls are simple, there is a lot of cosmetics and a lot of guns. The biggest issue I have with this game is that there is not a logical way to buy an ad blocker. Usually they run about $3 for an ad blocker. These terrible developers are charging you $6 A WEEK for some skin and a gun. Oh boy, you mean if I spend money I get a gun instantly instead of playing the game?! And a skin?! It’s like I’m playing Fortnite!!! Except there are no ads in Fortnite!!! ✓ I’m kinda sad about thisI’ll be honest, this game has potential to be one of my favorites. There just has to be more to do, objectives. Daily’s, weeklys, achievements, more coins than the “1” coin per headshot. As you continue on you should get more coins maybe 2 and beyond depending on what stage you get. And weapons should have more variety to them, more flare, different looking bullets. Have some depth into it, and the outfits are alright. But you should add bonus’ to all of them that effect your character or certain gun types differently that are customizable with currency, and please make more ways too earn the coins cuse watching an add for only 35 coins isn’t fun. ✓ Few problemsThe game is alright, I have fun playing it, although, there are times that ye frame rate drops, causing me to miss my shots. Also, I’ve had a problem twice now where, once an add is over, I press the X to go back to the game and get a respawn, or another spin on the blacklist reward, but it opens the store, and I have to close the game and I don’t get my reward. I can see what the problem is with it, that being that the X isn’t actually where it’s shown, because when I press it, it moves down slightly before opening the App Store. ✓ Its a good game but are problemsThere are problems with this game.1 this game says its free but there are so many ads that the creators put a $6 subscription that with make you OP and have it so there are no ads. I tried the free trial (witch is awfully short btw) and thought that I was op and realized how many ads there are. If you are going to make a game make sure that there are some ads but not have them everywhere.2 you have to shot the guys on your first shot I think there should be a chance that they miss but no the closes thing they have is armor that makes you a two shot and not a one shot but there still needs to be a chance that the enemy’s miss.3 the guns are not balanced. ✓ Predatory (scams you)I’d like to start off with the worst thing this app does and hat’s advertise a membership like deal, 5 dollars a month, than is right there on the main screen four buttons off from play. It gives you a three day free trial but after that you pay which is really sketchy because this game is clearly made for children. This app is made to keep people around for one thing and one thing only. MONEY. It makes you watch ads constantly and does a ton of things to incentivize you to either watch them, or stick around for after that ad. (Also the ads lag the game, literally beig annoying even when you’re not being forced to watch them) If you like simple games and are willing to watch ads go get ahead like I am, then play it. It’s a pretty fun concept, but be warned, there are a ton of predatory behavior toward the player when it comes to the company making money..Version: 1.4
✓ Awesome simple gameI’ve played a lot of ketchapp’s games and most of them are pretty fun, until they start constantly crashing and slowing my phone down. This one does occasionally crash, but hardly ever and it hasn’t slowed my phone down at all so far. It’s very simple and fun. The ads that you’re forced to see are short, infrequent, and not intrusive at all. The ads that are voluntary give helpful bonuses, but the bonuses aren’t necessary at all so you don’t feel forced to watch the ads. Edit: I changed my rating from 5 to 3 stars. This game is dead. The devs are no longer releasing updates for it in favor of whatever other ad ridden games they’re coming out with now. This game isn’t even completed. There are still in game features that are supposed to be there but probably never will be..Version: 1.3
✓ Yeah it’s okThis is a basic fun game which is essentially a timing exercise. To retain interest you unlock outfits and guns and it’s good for short breaks. We’re used to a lot of in-game ads, but in this case they cause lag when the game reloads and it can cause you to lose. You can’t take the high score too seriously regardless, mine’s locked on 1 point at Game Centre despite the game recognising my actual high score of over 300,000, but also points allocated get higher the more goes you have. I like the game for what it is because it’s easy to play as soon as it loads and doesn’t try too hard to lock you in to a commitment. Warning, don’t sign up for the thing that will rip you off at £4.99 per week..Version: 1.5
✓ Fun gameOnly reason I give it a 3 Star is because of 1 thing. When you are playing and you complete a level. If you unlock a gun at the end of that level/blacklist it automatically equips it. So when you have a really high score like myself and are using a sniper and get to 30k points then swap over to a nighthawk thing with no range and no damage it ruins everything and there is no way to stop this. Please fix this. Also the rate at which you obtain coins in my opinion needs to be increased just a tiny bit. I’m at level 230 and haven’t even unlocked half the things. ✓ Ads.This, like all other Ketchapp games, is full of ads. Usually I don’t mind their ads because they would always play after you lost a game; however, Mr. Gun plays thirty second, non-skippable ads after you beat levels. I found that I was getting them on an average of every other level, which is the equivalent of an ad for every minute of gameplay. There is also an ad bar on the bottom that never goes away unless you pay for the premium. I found that this ad wasn’t very noticeable while playing, so it isn’t that bad. Ketchapp needs to make money off of their games - I get it. However, when you have a ratio of 2:1 for gameplay/ad time, you are becoming greedy. As for the actual game, it is a simple game that most would play to just pass time. Although it may be simple, it is fun to play. If the ads weren’t so relevant, I would definitely rate this higher than three stars..Version: 1.3
✓ It’s just a Ketchapp game. Chill.When I looked at the reviews for this game, it was just some guy who just hated the ads. I do agree with him though. Ketchapp will place ads around every point in every game they have, whether it’s after dying or even for coins. Here’s a tip for you people who obviously are the average population, turn your wi-fi off. Without that, ads cannot load other than a few which the app has saved. There are only banner ads saved on the game. With the wi-fi off, the game becomes much more playable, making it ideal for times without it such as in a car ride or traveling. Now then, let’s talk about the actual game. Mr Gun is very fun to play, despite the unbalanced guns. I find coins somewhat difficult to get, and the guns pretty expensive. These are some fun challenges for me though. This game shows to be the typical Ketchapp game: 1. In it for the money. 2. Simple to the point of frustration. 3. The popular “Harder than it looks.” I don’t hate this game, in fact, I love it. I am currently on level 201 and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. While the gameplay is simple yet fun, the gameplay is marred by the barrage of advertisements that show up, appearing after more or less every attempt. If you die you can add to your in game currency by watching an add, in addition there is also an advertisement strip running across the bottom of the screen. Yes, at its core the game can be played for free but prepare yourself to spend more time watching adverts than actually playing. Personally I’m okay with a one time fee to remove adverts altogether if the game is good enough, but the asking price here is absolutely ridiculous. This is a £2.99 game at a push, the utter gall the dev has here to ask for £4.99 per week subscription to remove adverts is just obnoxious. And for that reason this game is getting 1 Star. This sort of business needs to be nipped in the bud as it really is not okay. All in all it’s a simplistic and satisfying game to play, but it has been ruined by the sheer amount of adverts as well as the developers avarice in order to remove them. ✓ Ad overboard and bad transactions.This game has a simple and fun premise but is ridiculous with its ads every time you do anything. For example if you miss in this game you lose the level makes sense, add an ad after I lose would be fine if the gameplay lasted for a while. But here levels last for like 20 seconds and will lose a lot, which is the point of the game. So to get rid of the adds how much do you need to pay? 6$ EVERY SINGLE WEEK! this game is not worth that much. ✓ Excessive Ads Ridiculous Payments**Turn cellular off in settings and turn off WiFi while you play to get rid of ads** I enjoy the game a lot however playing an ad every time you beat a boss is overkill. Luckily there’s a work around or I wouldn’t play it at all. Even though you can skip after 7-10 seconds a level only takes maybe 25 seconds so it’s way too much, 2:1 game:ad. Second the $6 a week subscription for a second life, one gun, and no ads is just absurd. Make it a one time $2 or $3 and enough people will actually pay that to offset cutting back on the ads. The game itself is pretty fun but there needs to be a way to earn more coins, other than watching a 30 second ad for 35 coins. A decent gun is 750 coins, that’s 22 ads. Who wants to watch ads for 11 minutes to buy a single gun? You get 10-15 coins on average for each game, that’s 50-70 games for one gun. Let’s be honest, that’s on purpose. ✓ Pretty nice gameThe game by itself is actually pretty neat. It’s pace, and excitement for high headshot streaks is fun. Yet all the advertisements are very obnoxious. They did make it so that some give you beneficial things in the game. Watch a video you live again, watch a video you get a extra spin after clearing a round hopefully getting you a cool gun, but for the most part I’m literally just turning of my internet connection when playing this game. Side note would be that you have all these entry level weapons that get outdated whenever you get one of the better guns later on. I feel like that will change as they are bringing weapon upgrades into the game where you’re probably able to fix just that problem..Version: 1.4
✓ Not bad but not good.Mr Gun is not a horrible game I enjoy it when using the toilet/smoking a smoke. ✓ Good game, ruined by adsIt’s a brilliant and fun game, but of your going to play it turn your wifi off. It plays an ad during the loading screen and when you start your first round it will lag because it is trying to load a ad. The worst of all though, it offers voluntary ads to continue after you die, and nearly every time you say ‘no thanks’ it'll play an ad anyway that’s the most scummy thing in this game..Version: 1.4
