Apollo is the FIRST application that enables you to add light sources to your **Portrait Mode** photos, after the photo was taken! Apollo reconstructs a 3D map of your photo which you can augment with new light sources in real time. Take your portrait mode photographs from awesome to unforgettable by selecting the color, intensity, distance of a light and illuminate your photos and selfies to your heart's content.

Apollo is the first app to use the depth data of your portrait mode photos to calculate photorealistic light and shadow. Using a proprietary processing algorithm running on your iPhone's graphics card, Apollo is able to render light sources on a portrait scene or selfie in real time.

Apollo allows professional photographers and amateurs alike to try things that are not possible in the physical world. You can shape scene lighting by adding or even removing light. Since lights are computationally rendered in the scene, it is possible to put a light source within the frame: say hello to invisible lamps!

The UI is optimised for use with one thumb, allowing you to always view the entire photo. One price, no in-app purchases and no subscriptions.

✓ Excellent applicationExceptional application. It works like a charm. After using the application for a few minutes I made a hasty judgment and gave a 3 stars rating as it could not process some of my photos taken in portrait mode. I then found out that not all pictures taken in portrait mode have depth of field data. Pictures without the Portrait icon on the top left corner of picture cannot be processed. I also found out that one could have upto 20 light sources which was not so evident at the beginning. With this app you don't need a studio - just amazing!.GilakVersion: 1.0.2

✗ VERY UNHAPPYSo I pay for this app. With my hard earned money. In the description, it mentions it helps re-light photos with a brief emphasis on 'portrait mode'. IT DOES NOT STATE IT WILL ONLY WORK ON PORTRAIT MODE PHOTOS! Guess what? I opened the app and it gave me access to 13 pictures. 13?? I see a 'where are my photos?' link. It led me to this. WHY IS THIS NOT FRONT AND CENTER? WANT MY MONEY BACK🤬🤬🤬 Q. I can’t see all my photos in the Gallery. Why don’t they show up? A. Our algorithm can only work when there is depth data in a photo. That is only possible in portrait mode photos. The photos in your gallery are filtered to show images reported to be portrait mode. Moreover, your photos must be taken on a dual camera on iOS11 or greater. If you can’t see anything, you probably don’t have any portrait mode photos.
