Where’s the iPad version.I am enjoying this on my iPhone 8 Plus but I can’t find it for iPad. It says it is compatible in the App Store. How do I access it please?.Version: 2.3.0

BlahIt’s my own fault I suppose. I thought I’d be able to re-edit my existing pictures on my iPad Pro. I was so impressed with the concept of the app that I didn’t see the bit about having a bigger, better, newer iPhone otherwise the app simply wouldn’t work. It was my mistake. The app is useless to me until I fork out a small fortune for an iPhone 7 or above. I can’t do that right now so that’s a bit of a waste of £1.99. My fault. I’m sure it’s a great app..Version: 2.0.1

So far, good.Using 7+......There are a few portraits I tried this on and am enjoying playing around. Can be a nice app to fix or add lighting to but am disappointed there are NO settings. Especially on how I chose to save/export the rendered photo. There is only ONE option, native to the app ”HEIC”...i never use that format so major points taken away for that! I require JPEG and TFF. It does save original dimensions tho so that's good at least..Version: 2.2.0

LackingYou guys really should up front mention that this can only edit photos from iphone, I purchased this in the hopes of editing photos from my mirrorless camera. Now, it's just another wasted purchase..Version: 2.0.2

Wonderful, but not what I expected.I paid for this app expecting to be able to edit photos in the same fashion as Facetune relight. However, it only works with portrait photos, meaning only about 10 photos in my camera roll are compatible. The app works wonderfully on the photos it is compatible with, but I was very disappointed and feel that I ultimately that I wasted my money, since I can’t use the app to edit the photos I wanted to..Version: 2.3.0

Terrible. Can’t access all of my photos, just 40 or so, instead of the 7,000+. Of the 40 available, not one is able to be opened by the app. The refund is on its way. Update 3: Received another tone deaf email from the developers begging me to change my review. So I downloaded the app once more and opened it up, granting permission to access my photos. Still can’t open any of my Portrait Mode pics. Thanks but no thanks, devs. I’ll take my money back now, thanks. Update 2: I’ve received another response from the developer. It seems to be rather tone deaf. They just keep reiterating that the app only works with photos taken in Portrait Mode. Here’s my reply to the developers... I know what Portrait Photos are. I know how to differentiate between them and other photos. I know where they’re stored in the Photos App. I know how your app works. Now read, very carefully - Your app DOES NOT open any Portrait Mode photo on my iPhone 7 Plus, nor will it open a photo taken in Portrait Mode on my wife’s iPhone 7 Plus. Until the app is updated, you shouldn’t ask me to update this review. Update: Received a canned response from the developer, but it completely misses the mark. Yes, I understand the app is only going to use photos taken in Portrait Mode. But there’s just the one glaring problem, dear developers: Your app won’t open any Portrait Mode photo! Refund please. Pronto..Version: 1.0.4

How can I have my money back? It’s really disappointing. I expected a more professional editing and tools (something like Quickshot), but instead I got a few light dots that create some weird effects. I wish they had a “try before you buy“ version! My recommendation is to completely ignore that app..Version: 1.0.2

Great app BUT not clear limited to later phonesClearly, this is an amazing app with bags of potential. However one glaring omission - it’s easy to get excited and buy without realising it’s only for phones with portrait cameras. Mea Culpa - I only read the Story, not the main app page before buying. I didn’t read ‘portrait’ as a ‘proper noun’ and realise it was referring to Portrait mode photos taken with later iPhones. Clearly the devs have documented this, but I only saw the help documents after buying. Have requested refund and will definitely repurchase with an upgraded iPhone. Chose two star as I feel this issue needs highlighting, and yet it is still a fab app - but for me right now, it’s just not workable.Version: 2.0.1

Ripped offApple showcased this on their AppStore, so I bought it. It just didn't mention that you need portrait mode photos to use it. That information should have been mentioned. Annoyed.Version: 2.0.2

Bad but potentially goodThe tech is there. Too bad it doesn’t work on most of my photos. It also only recognizes 1/100th of my photos, even new ones I’ve just taken. It would be better if it had a camera helper to take and store compatible photos but it doesn’t. Will be trying to get a refund until problems are fixed.Version: 1.0.1

Won’t open any of my photosI seem to have a small selection from my library and those that I can see aren’t suitable. I’m sure it’s a great app, just can’t use it.Version: 1.0.2

Don’t buy unless you have the right phoneIt’s my own fault. I read a great article about this app and immediately bought it. Well, I foolishly didn’t read that it doesn’t work on an iPhone 8. I imagine this will be great if I ever get an iPhone capable of using it. Until then, I’ll never forget to read the fine print..Version: 2.2.0

Not clear that you must have 7 plus or betterThey do say you need the 7 plus or better BUT, i got it from a review and didnt read the details since i had read the review. My issue is they don't check on download to make sure your phone is compatible. You want it? Sure we will take your money even if we know it won't work on your phone. My 1 star is for the lack of a compatibly check before the purchase not for the app itself.Version: 2.1.4

It is okay. It’s a cool app and a good idea, but limited. Must be portrait mode, must be iOS 11, and must be the original photo, which unfortunately are very few of my photos. If I was given the choice, I probably wouldn’t buy it again. Cons outweigh the pros. However, I will continue to use with future unedited portrait mode photos..Version: 1.0.4

Major MEH because...Major meh because: It’s a fun tool, BUT simply doesn’t do a good job finding all the portrait photos in library. That is actually a deal breaker for me, a huge deal breaker. I’m also not entirely sure why the “portrait mode only” restriction. Anyway, so long only a fraction of my portrait shots show up in the Apollo library, I can’t, in good conscience recommend this app. Bummer, as there is definitely potential in it, the creators of this app just need to show their love for this app and care about their users.Version: 2.3.0

Won’t load my imagesReally impressed with the tech! But the on onboarding is rough. Spent allot of time trying to figure out why it wouldn’t find my photos. Force quitting the app seemed to help. Now I’m trying to figure out how to save with depthmap enabled so I can upload to facebook in 3D? Looking forward to future releases!.Version: 2.2.3

Can’t access my full photo libraryWhen I open the app only limited photos are shown in app.Version: 1.0.2

Great but still flawedGreat when it works but bombs out big time on iPad. Also, it doesn’t like to work on anything older than ios 11. Some results can be spectacular though, depending of course on how well you captured depth data..Version: 2.2.0

很差 没法用它会自动筛选出来人像模式的照片,其他的照片根本不显示,非常浪费钱.Version: 2.3.2

Warning..they don’t mention it won’t work on IPadNo where does it say you have to use images taken in portrait mode on an iPhone 7 or later. I watched the demo and read the blurb, it looked brilliant...and bought it. It does not work at all on an iPad. Big con. Won’t trust this company again..Version: 2.0.1

Waste of time - and moneyI wish I’d read the reviews, but the limitations of this app are horrendous. I take 100s of photographs, but this app could not handle 10% of them. When I finally got it to actually accept a photograph, the results were okay, but nothing special. A waste of £1.99 as the app was deleted immediately..Version: 2.0.1

Waste of moneyFor starters, this app is only as good as the portrait technology is, which as we all know, is not that great. All of the flaws that we see with jagged edges are simply enhanced, only to make a questionable image only worse. Beyond that basic, Apollo just isn’t all that great at what it’s supposed to do with lighting. E for effort, and something like this might end up being brilliant in the future, but for now, don’t waste your money or time..Version: 1.0.2

Does not work on iPhone 7When app is a featured app is says buy but you do not find out it only works on 7plus and later until you try to work out why there are no photos to use, iTunes you ripped me off Shame on you for advertising like this.Version: 2.2.0

I wish it would be activated for all photos...I think this app is amazing. I was looking for this kind of app, but I'm a iPhone7 user, so I can edit only portrait photos that my friends sent me. I think this app is great for editing real camera photos as well, so please change it and get more users!! (I'm an international student anyway, so I'm sorry that my English skill is poor).Version: 2.0.2

Where’s my library?Had to reinstall after it crashed. Offers limited access to photos, and even then they won’t all open. Provides no option to access library portraits. Extremely frustrating. The four pictures I got to work are quite stunning, however..Version: 1.0.2

Shouldn’t be possible to buy it on iPhone 7It’s a complete scam. It doesn’t explain that this app will never work on photos taken on iPhone 7. Why is it even possible to buy it then?.Version: 2.0.1

Annoying Help Tips & Limited Photo AccessI persevered through the non stop help tips that take a great deal of effort to disable. You get the ability to mess with a handful of your photos which the app decides on. No idea how to get a new photo into it and if I turn the help tips back on I may smash my phone. The actually functioning of the app is fine but far from amazing. Needs UI help to be a joy rather than a burden to use..Version: 1.0.1

Maybe this is not for meI’ve tried to get this app to improve on the portrait photos I’ve taken but it kinda made my photo looking worse. I tried a few times to test each features but always ending up not liking the effects. I think this app is not intuitive to use and definitely cannot edit any photos quickly..Version: 2.1.4

DO NOT BUYThis app is not worth 2.99. I bought it based on a news article review. I now suspect that was a paid article as this app is useless. I am not a notvice with no photography skills either- just do yourself a favour and do not buy this app. The developer has asked for more detailed feedback... The app makes photos dark, the light it shines on the subject is an unflattering colour and it generally ruins any photo not wanting a moody light..Version: 1.0.4

Ne fonctionne pas sur la dernière version du IPadPro !Ne fonctionne pas sur la dernière version du IPadPro !.Version: 2.2.0

Feel cheatedI downloaded this app because I love taking pictures with my iPhone and enjoy photo editing apps as well. However, even though the description said the app would work on my phone, after I paid £1.99 and downloaded it, I discovered that in only works with portrait images which are taken with an iPhone 7 and up (which I don’t have). It won’t accept any images in my iPhoto album. So basically I just threw away £1.99 for absolutely nothing! Worst app decision ever..Version: 2.0.1

Limited XR functionalityDespite what it says about compatibility this app only works on iPhone XR portrait mode pics of people. The promotional pics and videos suggest otherwise, disappointing..Version: 2.2.0

A little warning would have been niceLooks like a good app, but I wouldn’t know because I can’t use it. I checked the apps compatibility section and it stated “compatible with iPhone and iPad.” It didn’t say that it must be iPhone 7plus or newer. So, I have to keep this app until I get a new phone. I have decided to update my review since a company rep emailed me whining about my first review and trying to make me out as unintelligent. I checked again and the App Store still says compatible with iPhone. You have to read through the fine details to discover it only works with certain iPhones. After buying iPhone X, i can now say with confidence that the app is extremely ok. You can do interesting things with the app, but your customer service skills need some help. Also, dont email me again unless to you are prepared to apologize..Version: 1.0.4

Not able to see all my picsIt can only see limited photo in my phone. Wasting my money....Version: 2.3.2

I like it but....I like what you can do with this app, but is there a way to switch off the annoying prompts very time you pick a tool? Addition to review: 24hrs after purchase and it won't let me edit any pictures. I get an error message on every picture – even images that were fine yesterday. Not impressed..Version: 1.0.2

Be careful where you download this fromI downloaded this app off the feature description Which did not mention it was an app for exclusive portrait photos...specifically later iPhones post 7s Just lost 4 bucks.Version: 2.3.1

BEWARE: YOUR PHONE MIGHT NOT BE COMPATIBLE WITH THIS APPOh, sure, NOW it says very clearly after I have purchased it that it is “not compatible with my device”. Where was this warning when I was clicking BUY? It seems a little dishonest, and I am very disappointed, I know it’s only $.99 but I want my money back. If you’re reading this review to determine whether you want to get Apollo for your iPhone, please be advised that it only works with phones that support portrait mode, which is only the latest phones. Determine if your phone is compatible first before making the purchase. I really wish I could use this..Version: 2.2.3

Amazing but needs improvementPlease put a landscape mode and other modes I’m disappointed because I love to light photos cause I’m a graphic designer for advertising..Version: 2.3.5

Don’t botherWaist of £1.99 just deleted it.Version: 2.0.1

Check your version of iPhone b4 you buy this appI was so excited about the app that I did not realise that it only works on iPhone 7 upwards. I am sure it‘s an amazing app and hopefully I will be able to upgrade soon so I can actually use it!.Version: 2.0.3

Cool app - bad UIWhat this app does is very very cool. The problem is the UI has some huge issues. Tool tips show every time that function is selected. There doesn’t seem to be a way to take a new photo to load into the app (and new photos taken with portrait mode don’t seem to show up for me). The UI is laggy as well. I ca. Understand that for dragging light pins around but the intensity sliders also don’t feel at all like an iOS app in their responsiveness. Hopefully the UI will be updated and improved because for me it’s a huge downside to an app that is doing very cool things!.Version: 1.0.2

No.pointI'm using an iphone x and can only open one photo out of 5000 photos, this app is useless..Version: 1.0.2

Absolute rubbishThis does not work! Save your money. Out of all my photos none of them load. Hundreds in portrait mode but still none load. Complete con if you ask me!! 🤬.Version: 2.0.2

Super StyleLove it. Cool idea. Hey developers - anyway you can provide an option to retain the depth information in the exported image? That way I can perform additional depth editing in other apps after I re-light in Apollo. Thanks..Version: 1.0.4

VERY UNHAPPYSo I pay for this app. With my hard earned money. In the description, it mentions it helps re-light photos with a brief emphasis on 'portrait mode'. IT DOES NOT STATE IT WILL ONLY WORK ON PORTRAIT MODE PHOTOS! Guess what? I opened the app and it gave me access to 13 pictures. 13?? I see a 'where are my photos?' link. It led me to this. WHY IS THIS NOT FRONT AND CENTER? WANT MY MONEY BACK🤬🤬🤬 Q. I can’t see all my photos in the Gallery. Why don’t they show up? A. Our algorithm can only work when there is depth data in a photo. That is only possible in portrait mode photos. The photos in your gallery are filtered to show images reported to be portrait mode. Moreover, your photos must be taken on a dual camera on iOS11 or greater. If you can’t see anything, you probably don’t have any portrait mode photos. More information can be found here.Version: 2.0.2

Not for 5s - doesn’t work on my iPad ProDoesn’t work on my iPad Pro. My bad for not reading the ‘must have’ portion of the advert. Usually when I buy an app I read everything about the app first then check the ratings before pushing the purchase button. However, I got no further than the sample photos and what you could do with them before thinking, ‘that’s good enough for me!’ Suffice to say that even on my iPad Pro this app doesn’t work. That’s because all my photos have been taken on my iPhone 5s. Also, I use landscape a lot. Unless you have photos taken in portrait mode, not landscape mode, then it won’t work. So, make sure you have a new phone - needs to be at least a 7 or better. Take your photos in portrait mode. Then you’ll be good to go..Version: 2.1.4

Cannot access photos taken with other appsOn my iPhone 7+ I prefer to shoot in Portrait mode using the Camera+ app instead of the Apple Camera app. Although they are Portrait photos and are filed in Photos on the phone, Apollo does not allow me to access those photos. I hope this can be changed, otherwise Apollo’s amazing ability is not useful to me..Version: 1.0.2

HmmmSays, pull up any photo from camera roll... kinda misleading people, no you can’t, deceptive on your part, but whatever , waste of money this app...Version: 2.1.1

Not happyIPhone 8 wasn’t made aware that this app doesn’t cover my phone will be getting my money back !.Version: 2.0.1

Useless app unless you have portrait mode photosTotally useless app unless you have latest ios and able to take portrait mode photos... a waste of a download!!! 😣😣😣.Version: 2.3.0

Very LimitedThe effects are brilliant, however the App only allows 20 pictures from my library and nearly half of the 20 will not work due to IOS version when photos were taken. I currently use IOS 11.4 and a iPhone X phone. I can not see any other photos other than the 20 the App chose from my library. Making this app pretty much worthless..Version: 1.0.4

HmmmmmEvery time I try to open a “portrait mode” picture it just shuts the app down !.Version: 2.3.1

Lacks lighting direction and UI is awkwardThe app has minimal usefulness as of version 1.0.1. 1) There is no way to control the direction when adding light to a photo. The light appears to always apply from above. Since there is depth data it should be possible to simulate light from above, below, behind, and front - as well as combinations. (The developer suggested using "depth" which misses the issue - it's not possible to direct the light from below or from the front.) 2) the sliders for adjusting each value - brightness, distance, etc. require multiple swipes to make anything more than a tiny change 3) the lighting is either to harsh or too subtle. It's difficult to get realistic results. BTW: It's unfortunate when app developers expect their users to learn and adapt to weak user interfaces..Version: 1.0.2

ApolloI have hundreds of portrait mode photos. This expensive app can find none of them. Deleted. Waste of money..Version: 2.0.1

?????Très louche ! Vous accédez a mes photos car j’ai accepté et votre application ne fait rien du tout .... ???????????.Version: 2.3.0

Nice but confusingThis app was really cool, it does some really cool effects with lighting, but there are some issues. 1- I wish there was a video tutorial that would help show all the neat things the app can do, even after getting the hang of the app, I’m still confused on what everything does. 2- I have the iPhone XS Max, but still, the app is glitchy, this app will freeze and crash when I’m at the photo selection screen. Other than these issues, I am really having fun with the app and the professional pictures that it creates..Version: 2.2.0

:(Please make it for iPhone 7-8 i bought this app on a iPhone 7 and don’t have the mode portrait, pls update it :(.Version: 1.0.1

Wortless - only works for PLUS phones with portrait modeI was impressed by the video preview that I made the mistake of buying this app without reading the fine print that it ONLY works with portrait mode photos. I have iPhone 8 and it doesn’t allow to access my photos at all. It’s very deceiving because in the details it’s says “works for THIS phone.” I will consider changing my review when they update it to access all my photos, since I doubt that they will give me a refund ☹️.Version: 1.0.2

Won’t access any photosThought this app would be kinda cool concept is good but it won’t access any photos so it’s absolutely useless complete waste of money I was asked to edit my review of this app so here it is this is a great concept but it can’t access any of my portrait mode photos that it has already filtered it wasn’t that it wouldn’t access my regular photos that I left a bad review I knew it would do that before hand I checked the app out first and read as much about it as I could so I already knew it would filter and only use portrait mode photos but every time I chose one to edit it says it can’t access I checked the setting to make sure it wasn’t on my end as well and I did give permission to the app to access my photos and it still can’t access my portrait mode photos that it displays when you open the app I can only access the sample photos provided with the app so once again until this problem is resolved this app is useless to me and was a waste of money and the issues are not do to user error.Version: 1.0.2
