But there’s a bug or a glitch or something that makes it so that at any random time the car will not correct it’s course and just cruise straight into a wall and there’s nothing you can do because if you try and drift again it has no affect. ✓ Good game, insane VIP optionI have been enjoying this game, it has a very nice challenge aspect which definitely pushes you to get better at the game to complete the next challenge and also gives you the ability to skip the current challenge if you cannot compete it. The issue I have is with the VIP option, it’s £2.99 to remove ads, pretty standard for this type of game, but £5.49 a WEEK for VIP privileges, which is ad free and an extra 200% bonus on daily bonus and 200% on each level up, even at £5.49 as a one off that’s steep, if you kept that up for a year that’s almost £300! You could buy a console, games and annual membership to online services for that. The game is not worth £300 a year..Version: 2.1

✓ VIP subscription is a rip-offThis is an OK one-tap game. The ads are annoying, occurring after every round, but not so much that the £2.99 ad-free option is tempting. But it’s the subscription option that falls into the category of “blatant rip-off”: £5.49 a week (roughly £25 a month) gives you extra gems (the in-game currency) and three cars (car selection is purely cosmetic - doesn’t affect gameplay at all). This cost is explained in literal small print of you go on the VIP subscription page..Version: 2.0

✓ Decent game. Poorly priced.The gameplay is simple and enjoyable. The concept is basic and it’s fun trying to cling on to the road. The average player will get into it pretty quickly. On the downside, it’s completely unenjoyable without removing the ads. The percentage of time spent watching ads is somewhere around 30-50%. To remove the ads costs about $5. I would’ve happily removed the ads for what the game is worth - about $1-2 (comparing to other similar games). It’s not worth the asking price of $5..Version: 2.3

✓ Was great: stupid mistake ruined itWas a thoroughly enjoyable, simple yet challenging, absorbing game. Then some genius decided the best place to put the advertising panel was in the SINGLE WORST POSITION IMAGINABLE: at the bottom middle, the place where you would control the game with your thumb. It is the only position where your thumb doesn’t visually obscure the upcoming track curves. Now the game is just too frustrating to play, as you either try to play with your thumb blocking your view, or play just above the ads and continuously crash out as an ad loads (because you accidentally hit the banner) and you lose control of the car for a second or two. Do they not have UX people to advise on decisions like this? Shame, I’ve gone from #1 fan to frustrated beyond belief. Now going to delete..Version: 2.3

✓ Fun but a couple of problems.I would rate this 5 stars but there is a couple of problems, one is that in the middle of you being in a game of sling drift an ad just randomly pops up and that forces you to crash, another is when you get three perfects in a row, it goes into “fury” mode and it changes color, I disapprove of this because it can be distracting and it can cause you to crash, my last problem is the lack of cars you can get with gems, I played the game for a day and I unlocked every single car you can get with gems, I did not get the cars you have to watch ads to get because it’s really not worth it, but, I would love to see more cars added into the game (that you can get with gems), otherwise, the game is really fun and it helped me get through a long road trip. I found this game by playing the ad demo and found the demo quite entertaining and easy, before realising that the app was actually much more frustrating, making every possible outcome negative. ✓ It’s fun but please readI love this game, it’s really fun and unlike other games. I definitely suggest it for a quick fix for boredom. The problem is that the ads shown are for apps that are violent and not appropriate for all ages. The ad is for a shooter app, and shows someone shooting people in the head with blood splattering everywhere. For an iPhone app, it’s kind of realistic and scary for kids who may play this app thinking it’s just a fun game. I get the need for ads, and there aren’t a ton of them, but it just isn’t ok for an app rated 4+. I play cpu games that are interactive open world fun and they have cheaper sub prices than this. Save your money as the rewards you get are pointless for $24 a month. It doesn’t matter what you choose, you’ll be forced to watch a 45 second ad either way. It’s become so annoying that it’s only bearable to play this game in airplane mode to avoid the ads. Another problem is that when you restart, you resume at the speed at which you crashed. This means that, when you resume your game after crashing at level 130, you immediately go from a stand still to the same speed you crashed at, which just makes you crash immediately again. Finally, the cars are blacked out when you want to buy them but you also have the option of buying a random car for 250 jewels less. Either way, you won’t be able to see what car you buy. Why doesn’t the app let me see the car I am about to buy if they also have a random option as well. With the way it’s set up, they're both random and it makes the app redundant. Asking players to score an exact amount and then crash is the dumbest thing I’ve seen in a game in a long time. Players could be on their way to their highest score ever. There are only 4-5 challenge types that repeat with higher requirements as you advance. The one that requires you to score an absurd amount of points and the one that requires you to crash at another absurd amount are just terrible. The game is fun if you’re just trying to pass time. You will be in the middle of an epic run when your twitch reflexes are tested by a 10 frame input gap generated by 2 cartoon balls at the bottom of the screen trying to find love. Those that master the art of anticipation will be overwhelmingly satisfied by this complex and interactive challenge. First I think it would be cool if the multiplayer was real people, that would make the game really interesting. As for the bug, its a small one, when you turn off the sound and vibration when you open the game, and then close it, and then open it to play it again, the game immediately turns back on the vibration, which consists of the drifting , crashing, gems collected, and opening sound. ✓ Glitch in premiumSo i unlocked all of the cars and i got bored so i got the free trial for premium And at first it was great the cars were Awesome and i was having a lot fun using them until My game crashed and kept on crashing every time i got on it had never done this before so it’s ironic that it happens right when i get premium. So i got to 167 score but i died so i wanted to continue and maybe even make 200 so i clicked Continue and watched the ad assuming that after i would continue but when the game continued it just completely glitches out and just goes on and on with no control And this keeps happening whenever i die and hit continue Again it’s ironic this happens right when i get premium i’m definitely not paying y’all for premium after the free trial if this is what i get from it.Version: 3.2.0

✓ I got this game yesterday and it’s not that good…it’s okayOk so it was fun at first but when I got stuck I was stuck for a loooooooooooong time… Also it would be fun if you could race against real people and maybe a leaderboard? I would also like some music in the background and that screeching sound of the car drives me mad! I’m traveling so I don’t recommend this game for traveling. One last thing if you put music in there maybe you could match of the sound with the swings? But that’s all….Version: 3.3.0
✓ Mediocre time killerIt seems that tastypill has struck again. If you don’t know who they are by name, you most certainly have seen one of their games if you’ve visited the App Store in the past year or two. They make cheap, easy game with simple graphics and lots of ads in an attempt to get kids to give them money... and it almost always works. They’re responsible for games like water bottles flipping simulators. I got this game bracing for the worst. Now, I am not a professional driver, but I’ve seen enough Initial D to know what drifting is, and why it’s so cool. This game doesn’t have any of that. Instead of drifting, the car makes a rotation around a predetermined point of axis, and you control have far it rotates with your tap. It’s easy enough, and the only real fun comes when your in the 20s, speed up, and link 10 perfects in a row. Other than that, it’s a simple time killer. It’s cars are hideous, and you can’t see the designs before you purchase one, so it’s a crap shoot every time. A baby could have the same, if not slightly more, entertainment from it, but this game will hold neither of us captive for more than a day..Version: 1.9

✓ Fun Game but they are bypassing family sharing app feature by AppleThe game is very simple but really fun. My only gripe is that the way they have set up the game doesn’t allow family sharing of purchased apps. Under Apple’s family sharing, if a family member buys and purchases an app, the additional family members should be allowed to play the purchased version of the app without having to pay for it again. However these guys do not publish a separate purchasable version of the app. Rather, they allow users to remove the ads via an “in-purchase” route. This way, even though the family members download the “purchased version” of the app without ads, they will still get ads on their downloaded since the removal of the ads was considered as an “in purchase” which typically is for features of the game itself and not for removal of the ads. ✓ The worst kind of lagIt’s a fine time wasting game, don’t get me wrong. But, when the amount of pop up ads you get whilst you play the game actually causes the game to lag? That’s when I draw the line. Sure, just go into airplane mode, ok, I’ll just never collect any of the achievements or daily rewards then, both which require internet connection. Look I’m all for ads, I understand that’s how free games get their money. But seriously, don’t you think you have too many if it’s slowing down your game to the point of lag. Anyway, just my opinion, but I’m giving the game a three stars rating as I result..Version: 2.3
