✓ Fun but crippledThis is a fun and challenging game. I play it in the morning to get my brain firing on all cylinders. My 3 star rating is because they purposely crippled the reward point system. When I first downloaded the game the rewards were 5, 7, and 10 points. There was always a good mix of rewards from each of the three levels. A few months ago they changed the reward levels to 3, 5, and 10. At that time the game mysteriously would award 3 points 99.5% of the time. This is far too often to be ‘chance’. It appears they did it in purpose. If you don’t want award more than 3 points just remove the other 2 values instead of showing us how clever you are at saddling us with 3 points. If you download this game please DO NOT watch the videos when awarded the 3 point ‘bonus’..Version: 22.1025.09
✓ Daisy’s reviewThis is the best app for boredom! (and for fun too!) When I’m bored I come on this app and then I’m happy. You can take this anywhere and everywhere so I can play it when I’m out. This app thankfully doesn’t need WiFi so its great! If your looking for an app that can change you from being bored to happy and looking for a great review this is the one! You can also compete with your friends and family and enjoy it out and about. I think you should definitely download this app as it’s a boredom free app! ✓ Buggy and almost unusableA freemium app, which cannot handle its inbuilt ad server. Every puzzle or two it launches an ad. Unfortunately too many of these cause the app to freeze before the ad can even load and you have to quit the app and restart. It gets very old very quickly. I could also do without the enforced gambling on the rewards for fulfilling the daily challenge puzzles. That just leaves you feeling cheated and wronged as you hit 5 points more often than 10..Version: 3.0.8

✓ Game good...app however not so greatThe game is good. Gets the brain working and testing your spacial awareness. The app however is very annoying! There are a number of the ad’s that pop up when you have completed a challenge that make the screen go black. To get back to the game you then have to shut the app down and re-start it. ✓ There’s a problemThis is the only way I could figure out how to make you aware of a problem. I love this game. But about a week ago when I payed the daily challenge the screen locked up on me. So I had to close the app and reopen it. Then I would get my coins and try to get the x2. It would lock up again. In did this every day for every time I finished a level of the challenge. Not just the point where I get coins but every level of the challenge. I got so frustrated I deleted the app and reloaded it. I lost everything. I had nearly cleared the entire game. ✓ Ads take too longThe game itself is good, but you only get to play a couple of games before being forced to watch or wait for ads to finish, and several times the adverts would not disappear and would force you to go to the App Store to be able to play the game. ✓ Fun Puzzle App But Too Many Ads and BugsI completed all of the puzzles in the Hexa Puzzle app which was created by the same company that created this app, so I deleted it, reinstalled it and started over because I enjoyed it so much, so I was really happy when this new puzzle app became available for download in that app. Although I really like this puzzle app, it has way too many ads with no option to skip them. It also frequently causes my IPad to ‘freeze’ and I have to close the app and restart it to even be able to finish the daily puzzles. ✓ Don’t do the daily puzzlesI played this game years ago and then deleted it because I got fed up of always getting a reward of 3 coins rather than either the 5 or 10. I downloaded it again recently and have been doing the daily puzzles again to find that I will still always only get 3 coins. What is the point in offering 5 or 10 coins if you are refusing to let people win them? The game apart from that is enjoyable and helps pass time but it’s very disheartening to play the daily puzzles, knowing that you will only end up with a total of 9 coins after completing them. ✓ Good for a while but..First of all, just wanted to say this game is really addicting. However, I’ve had it for three days and it’s become ad-filled! Every single level, there is an ad now, where as the first day, it was more like every 10 levels. The ads wouldn’t be so bad if they would actually play the whole way through. What’s happening is they’ll play maybe halfway and then freeze. I’ll have to exit the app and go back in. My iPad is a perfectly functional device, only 3 years old, and has had no problems in the past. I’ve restarted my device, and nothing happens. Just full of bugs and ads. ✓ Way too many adsThough the developed has said they will restrict the ads, I have just downloaded this app (Nov 18) and it has 2 ads for every game that I play. Ridiculous. Life is too short to waste that many minutes on repetitive ads. NOTE: The developer responded that I should send them an email. Since the person did not include where to find the email address, which would have been too easy to do it did take a while to find it. I finally found it, and sent an email with the necessary information. I received an automatic response that that email was no longer being used and to please use the mail icon in the game, which I can not find. I am not impressed with this company’s follow-through or its customer service. I thought I’d give the game a chance again this morning. Not only were there constant ads, it kept locking up. ✓ Good, but...I’ve played this game for a while and it’s enjoyable. But why has there been a change in the daily challenge coin prizes?? I don’t play the game to get the coins, but it becomes really tiresome that every time I get through each prize I get 3 coins. It’s a big con. ✓ Engaging, but too many ads between levelsBlock! is a game that gently increases in skill level while giving you a sense of accomplishment along the way. For someone who has horrible spatial skills, it’s especially rewarding. It may even help me to figure out how to pack my suitcase better! However, there are way too many ads between each level, and they’re long, so that diminishes the flow and fun. I understand the need for ads, but it appears that the developers are trying to get rich quickly rather than letting the game grow a following. ✓ Fun gameI absolutely use to love playing this game. It kept challenging me with every level, there was something different to keep myself challenged and entertained. Once you have beaten all of the game you can still get different levels to keep enjoying the game. At least I thought that, but for months I have had to email them several times just to get 1 or 2 levels and it doesn’t take long to get through them...and then I’m back to getting a hold of them and going through it all over again. So, enjoy playing this game until you have beaten it and then my suggestion is to delete it because they aren’t very helpful. ✓ Good game with a few issues.This is a very fun puzzle game! I usually listen to music whilst playing it and I find it very relaxing. However, my problems are with the ads and the daily puzzles. Let’s start with the daily puzzles. I love these, but I literally only get 3 coins on all of them and I’m starting to think it’s rigged. But the ads are even worse. There are way too many ads in this game. I press home twice and go back into the game. Ad. I complete a level. Ad. I close the game and go back into it. Ad. I didn’t mind that ads appeared after every two or three games since some levels were tricky to solve, which meant the game took time to play. I wish when entire levels were passed, the game would open to the level I was so I didn’t have to scroll to find my place. I’m deleting this game and giving it one star because pro-Trump ads have started to appear recently. Not only that, but once the ads appear, there is no way to get the ad off the screen. One has to completely exit out of the game and re-open the game for the ad to disappear, only for the same or a similar ad to come back the next time an ad appears. ✓ AdvertsI was quite enjoying the game tbh, but every few levels at first then every other level an advert popped up which wouldn’t get any option to close the add (I waited for over 30 seconds each time). Also, if you clicked anywhere on the screen, a safari page would open in addition to the App Store on the game it is advertising which was highly frustrating. ✓ Ad-free option a complete con!The whole family liked the game, so we decided to opt for the ad-free option as the frequency and length of the ads are very annoying! Money was taken but we still get the ads! Reported issue to developers but the just responded by saying to ensure notification were on (which they were) and to shut down the app and restart it after a few minutes. ✓ This App Is FixedI have enjoyed playing this game for over 6 months. Its challenging and fun. My disappointment is that it is undoubtedly fixed to their advantage. Specifically, theres a “daily bonus” play in which you get rewarded with either 3, 5 or 10 bonus points if you complete the 3 trio bonus puzzles. In 6 months of playing everyday i have received the random 10 point prize only twice and the 5 point prize three/four times. It is statistically impossible that out of the over 1000 days x 3 (or over 3000 possible puzzles prizes) that i have received the 5 or 10 point prize only 7 times. ✓ Daily puzzle is a con!Like many others have experienced the daily puzzle now only gives you three coins no matter what box. Why give options if it’s impossible to win big? I refuse to watch the same adverts over and over to double the winnings, I see them enough between each level. And it does t always work. I also play the daily game every day where you can win 3. 5 or 10 coins ....or can you???? The answer is no!! The game is rigged so that the 3 coins appear in whichever parcel you choose. Endless patience required!!This is the second block type game I’ve downloaded and although I’m enjoying it, I am really fed up with the game freezing randomly as well as the incessant adverts that pop up every other level. Not only are the ads a real pain to get rid of, half the time they are really loud to a pretty intrusive level. I sometimes get so fed up with the ads and noise that I stop playing. I don’t think the amount of ads is necessary or helpful to get people to play the game, in fact I suspect that many delete it due to advert overload and frustration. ✓ I did love this game at first, but....After playing this game for a while (the purchased version, not free) and really enjoying it, all of the levels disappeared except the first one. So I lost all of the progress I had made winning levels and there is only just one level to play. I thought maybe they changed the format, so that you couldn’t skip ahead and once I finished the first level again, others would appear. But I have finished all 80 games of the first level twice and nothing happens. So obviously there is a really bad glitch that deleted all of the game content except one level. So whenever it comes back I will have to win all of the levels again. Which is super frustrating because I’ve already had to do that once when my phone had to be reset since there was no way to login to keep my progress. I play the three daily puzzles, and always pick the middle prize, assuming that the placement of the numbers are random. I will say that in the last month I have received maybe one or two 5 stars and one or two 10 stars. The rest were 3 stars. So, out of 90 choices 86 were 3 stars. In the last few days, I have got only 3 stars, and I noticed that 10 stars were us usually on the left. Today, I picked the middle prize in the triangle game and got 3 stars. I picked the left prize after finishing the square game and got ... 3 stars. I know that long runs are possible but over time each number should occur about one third of the time. ✓ Not happy!!I love this game and have been playing for many years. However I am not happy with the change to the daily puzzle, I used to be able to go in and play the daily whenever it fit into my schedule. With the new twenty four hour clock that was added some days I am unable to play the daily at all and this in turn discourages me from wanting to at all. Example: if I go in later in the day and start with the daily game I usually stay and play a few levels, on the other hand if I try to play earlier the next day I can’t start with the daily because it hasn’t been twenty four hours so I just leave. The biggest issue with the game is the daily challenges. There are 3 types of challenge with 3 levels in each. The reward for completing them is a choice of chest that has either 3, 5 or 10 coins in. I have completed the last 3 weeks worth of challenges and only ever got 3 coins for each. The chance of that happening on a random prize is almost 1/200! I may as well play the lottery. They’re after every other level or so, plus the one at the bottom that you don’t want to accidentally touch as you’re dragging your piece to the board. ✓ Daily Puzzle BonusI’m giving this game 3 stars. It’s a fun game that definitely makes you think. Early levels are easy and then become very hard and then incredibly hard. There is apart of this game in laughable and very frustrating. Every day they provide new daily puzzles. After completing 3 out of the nine levels, 3 prizes come on screen and you select one to reveal your prize. (One prize has 10 coins, one has 5 coins, and one has 3 coins. I’ve had this game for many years and I have noticed a trend where 90% of the prizes are 3 coins. In the beginning it was funny to watch the algorithm the makers have implemented only allowing you to select the 3 coin prize. I thought this was just me and I just happen to be the unluckiest person in the world. I read a review from March of 2019 expressing this same exact concern. They recorded the last 90 prizes they selected and 86 of them were 3 coins. The app developers responded stating they would look into the problem and it is now November 21 and the app developers have done absolutely nothing to fix this problem. ✓ Good but frustraitingSo i really like the game. The adds are super annoying, but i get and understand why they are there. Im just frustrated because for the life of me i can not figure out what all needs to be completed in order to get one of the trophies. I get you have to buy some of the levels and complete those for some. Not a huge fan of the needing to buy them, but you can do that with the coins you earn, so thats nice. The one i just cant seem to understand how to complete is the one called quest master. Ive been at 13 of the 15 tasks complete for almost a month now. ✓ RIGGEDThe game is a fun puzzle but the daily quizzes are not fun! Particularly when you choose your gift. There’s a 0.001% chance you get 10 extra coins, a 2.009% chance of 5 coins then a 97% chance you get 3. I swear! Every single time I choose a gift it’s three. I believe the game either hates me; or it’s rigged. The reason is because I did triangle quiz, picked the middle gift, got 3 coins, fine. Then I did the same thing with square quiz and got 3 coins again, strange but could be a coincidence. But then! I did the exact same thing with hex stage, I got the same result. That might have been a Friday 13th day but I don’t think so because I repeated it several times, only getting 5 ONCE!! ONCE!!! Summary: if you rage easily, either don’t download the game OR don’t do the daily challenges. The only problem is the daily challenges are the only way to get coins. ✓ No fun money sinkThere’s a daily bonus puzzle every morning where you can earn coins to buy extra puzzles or hints. You used to be able to randomly earn 5, 7, or 10 coins per set of 3, with 9 bonus puzzles a day for a daily minimum of 9 cousins. It was truly random. A hint cost more than you would generally get in one day, but only a little more. And, you could try to store up coins to buy bonus puzzles once you’d completed all the free ones. Then they changed it to 3, 5, or 10 coins, and changed the algorithm as well. I have yet to earn more than 16 coins a day for weeks now. A hint costs 30 coins so if I’m only getting 9 per day (most days now), it is not worth playing anymore. And the puzzles are hard enough now that I will be stuck for days if I don’t use hints. It’s sucked all the joy out of this game. Do yourself a favor and find a different pangram game - there must be plenty out there..Version: 21.0820.09
✓ Bonuses are riggedI always suspected the random coin drawings after the daily bonus weren’t truly random, but the last update brought it to a new level. Since the update, I’ve drawn the worst bonus 6 times in a row, which is literally about a one tenth of one percent probability. I rarely use the coins so it doesn’t even matter much for me, but c’mon, that’s just poor form. At least try to hide it a little, this way it’s just insulting. UPDATE: Lowering my rating to two stars. If you’re going to give me 3 coins every single time for my bonus, stop making me pick from three boxes. It’s a waste of time. Also, I’m not doubling my bonus by watching an ad. 3 whole coins for up to 30 seconds of an ad is also a waste of time. ✓ Constant ads, constant errors, poor customer serviceI enjoy the puzzles, however I am not able to enjoy the game. I run the updates and the game will glitch taking coins earned with it. I have reported the problem only to be finally responded with its is fixed.(4 weeks later) It is not fixed. It errored the first game back after the update. They also made no attempt to rectify the situation with even giving the coins that were lost each time back. The ads pop up after nearly every game and the games are short. I have received 2 email exchanges saying they will “fix the problem” with it deleting coins, freezing, etc. No help has happened. Not a single fix, or even lousy coin given. Months of playing and repeatedly treated poorly. I will be researching the other games this group produces and maybe reach out to their advertisers to give them a heads up.
