✓ PVP - Why?What’s the point of PVP? The first two battles are easy enough then every level after that enemies become almost impossible to shoot down guaranteeing your PVP opponent a win, unless they crash before you do. I’d have rather seen more campaign levels or more ways to unlock planes. Also, I paid to not see ads. Why am I still seeing ads?.Version: 4.2
✓ Great Classic Game... Poor executionI loved this style of game when I was a kid. But making everything SOOOO expensive to win and just get through it is disappointing. Also every time I use the PvP section, it immediately chooses a player and then tells me that they failed to connect. ✓ There’s issues that need addressedOver all this is a fun game. Just like the one I played growing up in the 80’s, in which I pumped a lot of quarters into. There is a few issues I have though. 1. The dog tag charger doesn’t charge when I’m done playing. When I come back to play the game, I’ve got the same amount of dog tags as I did before. To get the full amount of tags I have to restart my phone to do so. I shouldn’t have to do that!! 2. The Quest list doesn’t reset when it says it’s going to. 3. The Assault and Intercept modes doesn’t reset either. Please fix these bugs. I really don’t want to abandon this game. 1942 as always been my favorite arcade/video game. ✓ Absolutely Terrible Update - DisappointingThe new update is awful. If I knew the new update was going ruin the game I never would have updated it. The old layout was fun with a true arcade feel to it. Before the new update, It was easy to navigate between levels and earn coins and jewels. Now, it seems you have to use medals just to play and the bosses are not loading at the end of a level. Also, it is too busy and seems you have to pay for everything. After playing this game for almost a year, I’ll be deleting it now. A word of advise for the developer(s): if it’s not broken, don’t fix it. Highly Disappointing..Version: 3.4
✓ There odds are way wrongHow is it possible in the gem wheel for free gems that there are 12 spots to win 4 spots for 10 gems, 4 spots for 25 gems, 2 spots for 50 gems and 2 spots for 100 gems but yet the odds of getting anything higher than 10 gems is extremely low. Out of ten spins you get maybe one spin that is over 10 gems which is only the 25 gem wedge the odds of getting something over that is very very very low maybe 1 in 50 if your lucky. POOR POOR POOR odds. Developers need to make it fair. Shame on them for making it take months to get anywhere unless you spend your hard earned money..Version: 4.6

✓ BrokenThe game was fun when I started so I decided to spend some $$ on it. I bought planes, packs & No Ads. It was working great for about a month then the ads started appearing again, buttons no longer work and there have been no events. The game was last updated over a month ago. There has been no mention of a release date or confirmation that things are broken from the maker on their FB page. ✓ I understand ads for the free version, but…… often now it doesn’t recognise that I’ve played the ad (for bonus spins, double stars, continue mission etc), requiring me to play two or more - I just did five and it still didn’t acknowledge! As if there weren’t enough ads in the first place. Aside from that, the game is ok, but am concerned after seeing some reviews that this app is still not ad-free after paying. UPDATE: ads seem to be getting even more frequent, so I have since paid to remove ads, and as others have noted, ADS ARE STILL APPEARING!!! Rating changed from 2 to 1 star for either dishonest practice or shoddy app build. UPDATE (9-Aug-19): After the major app update, ads finally appear to be gone (THANK YOU) aside from the optional ads you can play to collect bonuses which is ok, but now… • Some levels are unplayable - enemies stop appearing after a while and then the background keeps scrolling but nothing else happens. Some levels don’t even have any enemy planes. • Sometimes the larger planes that appear from the side stay at the side, like they’re stuck. Easy to shoot, but no challenge and no fun. • The background does not cover the full width of the screen - I suspect the previous issue may be related. Can’t really make much progress now. Second, with way the rewards are structured for plane and equipment upgrades, there is no advancing on equipment upgrades past level 40 and you pretty much max out on the third plane without - as another reviewer put it- slog through days and days of daily rewards to get just one upgrade. So, once again, I can’t shoot the guns off the screen that I can’t see, but they can shoot me. Nothing to do but fly around until I run out of fuel or am shot down. What fun. And the rewards for the hours of ads you’d watch each day will take years to accumulate enough to advance. Update: started tracking. Watched 96 ads (mostly 30 second ads) got credit for 31. ✓ Rip Off...update wipes out progressLet’s begin by explaining that the latest update wipes out most of what you spent money and time on, basically taking your money and providing no return. Second is the many glitches of the update which include how the game gets stuck with an enemy that you can’t kill cause it’s too off screen and the level won’t end, or you just fly with no enemies and level never ends. This happens on Levels 12, 17, 22, 23, 26, 29, and 40. It may occur on later levels but that’s as far as I have gotten so far. The developers need to give back our hard earned money or fix the features lost by the update, which include my weapons lasting 30 seconds, the weapons effectiveness back to same power, the dozens of magnets, double stars, power ups, and emps (lightning strike) that I’ve earned and/or paid for and so on. Finally, provide help pages to explain the ways to earn features, planes, what other new things you’ve done, and so on. I almost think it is not included so they can take your money and not give you what is expected. I don’t mind the ads as long as the rewards actually work as advertised following watching the video. Right now 1 out of 3/4 don’t pay off. A game with nostalgic potential but reverse of update or serious attention to issues need to be executed..Version: 3.4

✓ Don’t Waste Time or Money on XP-55 Ascender!If you play this game, don’t waste your time or money trying to get an XP-55 Ascender! It is a horrible choice for game play. Even amped up it is far inferior to the F-100 Super Sabre which is supposed to be a weaker plane. I have not been able to clear a single level with the XP-55. Not one. It’s wingmen’s rate of fire is lame, even when expanded to 5 stars. HORRIBLE PLANE! Do not be temped to buy it even if the price drops to $27.00! You are better off trying to get the F-100 maxed out. ✓ Effort Needs to Be Rewarded Without GlitchesI have enjoyed this game a lot. It’s a great take on the classic arcade game, with some cool updates for newer planes, head-to-head battles, etc. That all being said, the GLITCHES AND THE SUBSEQUENT INCONSISTENCIES KF THE GAMEPLAY ARE A SERIOUS NEGATIVE AND FRUSTRATION . Constantly one is offered the opportunity to watch ads to increase their rewards, and many times there is no payoff at all. It just goes right back to where things are and it is throughout the gameplay, on gold boost and on gift and chest rewards. I GENUINELY WONDER IF IT IS SET UP AS CLICK BAIT SUCH THAT MORE AND MORE ADS ARE VIEWED IN THE HOPES OF GETTING THOSE REWARDS. Also inconsistent is the head-to-head play. Sometimes I dominate in a way that is almost too easy, other times I shoot a plan 10 times and it doesn’t explode when it took one shot to destroy the same plane the day before. This is incredibly frustrating. Finally, and not glitch-related: THERE NEEDS TO BE MORE LEVELS! ✓ Pay to playI’ve played this game on and off, and recently again for a YouTube review. I enjoyed playing up until level 30. I had purchased (with gems) the fourth plane in the line up, and sadly the grind to continue upgrading it is getting too extreme. The levels past level 30 are getting un-beatable, as my ship is still too weak at 4 stars of damage. The upgrades for gold isn’t much of an issue, but it gets ridiculous paying 800 gems to continue. Since I’m now at stages that I can’t beat (one shot kills me instantly, and it takes ages to kill bosses or higher level mobs) I can’t get enough gold/gems to continue. You basically get forced to watch ads praying you’ll get enough gems to continue. I can tell that even with the Sabre plane fully upgraded, I’ll still hit a dead end and not be able to continue. This game offers a TON of free content, and is quite fun and fair in the early game. The best way I see to get gems, is pay 5000 gold to spin the wheel and pray. As gold is worthless while you farm 750 more gems to upgrade. Otherwise, paying would be the only option, and this game heavily wants you to pay up. Overall, if you’re going to start playing this game, and not pay any money, keep in mind you will not be able to beat it unless you loose your life to playing it..Version: 6.1
