✓ Was a great gameUpdate. I thought I would give the game another go but get increasingly frustrated. One robot in the game has spoilt this. Yambushi owners absolutely hammer whole squads. Where a top scoring player will get 1-2 million damage a player who’s probably spent cash on the game will wipe out entire squads and cause 3-4 million damage. The prize boxes are a joke also. Save up for 100 to open a medium box (and that takes some time to do) and you get rewarded 30 keys back, absolute joke. Sort it out developers I loved this game when I first downloaded it but then the new version arrived. When you play a game for so long you work out the weapons and robots that suit you and your style of play so you spend time upgrading weapons, as you do. Then the developers decide to change the weapons with no thought or warning so the weapons you’ve spent weeks upgrading are basically rubbish and you have to start again. The introduction of squads is great until you come up against a squad of pay to play players and it’s game over in a matter of a minute. As you get either put in teams with ridiculously powerful robots or against them you can never earn enough at the end of battles so can never upgrade your robots. The game has been completely ruined by greedy developers. Time to delete and go back to war robot.Version: 1.1.11

✓ War Robots’s greedy, buggier cousin.Looking for an alternative to War Robot’s obnoxious p2w monetization practices? Well, how about a game brought to you by the lead game designer that was responsible for all those changes to War Robots? As one would expect, RW isn’t any different. New content costs a $100 a pop, pre-existing content is crippled to sell new content, ridiculously long and costly upgrade times, the much hated workshop, imbalanced matchmaking, etc. All of this delivered in a game with numerous ongoing bugs that rarely get fixed (and often made worse when they are). Sadly, as much as there is a market for value-based competitive mech game, Robot Warfare isn’t that game. Best to give it a pass..Version: 1.1.8
✓ Don’t spend moneyI have been playing this game for a while now. Long enough to have a 9 bot hanger and almost maxed out on most of them all from hours of grinding. It is a decent game but my advice to new players is to save your money. You are only playing with a handful of real players who will dominate you with 4-5 overpowered bots (yamabushi) which would make you want to spend money to keep up. Like many p2p games you will never be able or be willing to keep up because of updates and deeper pockets. Sometimes you will go up against a cheater using a hack or a programming glitch where the yamabushi will stay permanently invisible while shooting at you from cover. How can you fight back against that? Not to mention that player has 2-3 more yamabushis. The game is constantly kicking you off mid battle. Response from the developer is lackluster and virtually non existent. Imagine if you spent months grinding or tons of money for upgrades to play a game that only work half of the time..Version: 1.1.10

✓ Matching is terribleI switched to this game from Robot Wars. I really like the gameplay, graphics, and pretty much everything about the game except for opponent matching. I’m not sure if there is such a thing with game but matches are just not fun when you get obliterated by players that spend enormous amounts of money and have invisible hovering beam shooting robots that kill you in three hits. I’ve already spent a lot of money on this game and don’t think it’s fair to be forced to spend even more just to have fun and be able to compete. Not everyone has that kind of budget. Maybe the developers can write in some type of leveling field so we can get the most out of the game..Version: 1.1.11
✓ Dec 2020Bit laggy, high speed helps. Access to bots and guns, free and accelerated by ads, descent maps. The one snag, the game needs to have players with advanced bots or guns, not play against one week old players. There is literally times where I get killed by guns I cant even get, unless with hard cash. Its just no fun when a invisible robot with a flame thrower crushes you. I just give up now and let it play out so I can get my reward. If you leave, you lose that reward and progress so.Version: 1.1.10

✓ Game PlayI play this game on my phone, it has unlimited data/et. Al. And yet the login screen says i have a problem with connecting with my ‘server’..(really).. I am also color blind, and as such, i cant distinguish between a targeted ‘bot’ and my crosshairs. (Dad told me; nvr come to me with a problem, w/o a “potential “ solution.”) Here is mine: allow players to pick a different color for their crosshairs, like ‘yellow’. Too create a clash of color between the targeted bot n our crosshairs. Other than THAT, i would give this 5 stars. 😎.Version: 1.1.11

✓ Cheats in every match nowAs the title says. In every match now past a certain level, there’ll be at least one player in an unkillable yamabushi that can just keep dashing and regenerating health or not take damage. It’s a plague that’s ruining the game for everyone else who isn't so pathetic. It. Asks the whole thing pointless. Jurassic Monster World has the same problem - fun for a couple of months and then unplayable. As soon as you see a Bastion robot (Optimus Prime rip-off) you may as well log out. But of course I haven’t been playing long enough to build an invisible robot and can’t afford to buy one before I can build it. So the people with money dominate the field. The glitches in aiming with the free robots make it difficult. Switching targets turn the robot into a bobble head and the joystick gets stuck walking u have to let go and become a sitting target to get it unstuck. This game is way too expensive for these types of glitches and disadvantages. You are not allowed to see what levels of robots you are up against so you have no idea how to upgrade to fight the enemy..Version: 1.1.8

✓ HexAfter playing war robots I switched as a lot of people were saying this is better. I’m pretty sure the same person who made the matchmaking part of the game, has to be the same person or a very like minded individual from war robots. As it almost every game being a level 10 going up against level 35 players. Takes no consideration of garage power levels of robots and weapons. And somehow these overpowered players end up in these lobbies almost every match. When you do give feedback or report a player, there is no response. There should be a report player function when you press on their name in the lobby. As mentioned by other players the game constantly frames and freezes in the heat of battle. Or freezes then crashes is a regular one. Update. Sent at least 4 emails and the only response is from your bot. And yes I am talking about your game, it’s just as bad as war robots. Fix the matchmaking system and maybe you might have or keep a larger player base. Till then enjoy the same slow demise war robots. ✓ Just bad / sadDefinitely not just a pay to win but also a pay to play! The weapons you can buy with game coin outright are horrid junk! The good stuff you have to work for and then build are the only ones worth having. Guns like the Spectrum, look in the shop at available parts. ( there are two separate entities closely intertwined, also confusing ) Now, if I recall you can build like 2 and start a third. After that you need to start hunting the inventory (shop 2 ) to buy the parts you need to build the things you need to compete at the most basic level. Upgrades, parts build times and upgrade times are inordinately longer the further you progress. You can speed it up a little if you want to watch a video or you can spend gold, both crappy solutions. The free things you’ll are not! Nothing’s free; Watch the Video and they’ll give you for example 3,4 or maybe even 5 gold to save for a bot or weapon that cost 1400 gold to buy outright. I’m unwilling to spend tons of money for a mobile game. To stay competitive in this games it’s almost a requirement. While they are fairly liberal with good which is nice. It’s grind if you want the nice stuff. Upgrade times on gear is reasonable compared to other games and graphics along with controls are nice! The concept is simple and nice kill or be killed. They are doing a lot of nice things but I can’t help the game balancing needs reviewed. Also the AI is horrible. There’s a future here and maybe I’ll wait to delete to see how things are handled. ✓ Was a good game but….. play at your own riskFirst I played the game for 9 months. Got there dealing with a lot of hackers and the devs didn’t do anything to stop it. If you hack. You’ll love this game. That’s what the developers seem to support with no assistance against it. I would take screenshots and send to support. Which never replied back other than the auto reply. After 40 support tickets and no help. You get the picture. A few moths ago my robots just disappeared. Menu and no help from them. I can load the game. But cannot attach it to an account or get a player I’d. All the buttons and functions and robots are missing. Tried emailing support but there is no way to contact them. They can reach me via email but they don’t respond. On their Facebook they responded but wanted my information over the open chat. Obviously I wasn’t doing that. So. Their assistance halted again. I spent $15 for a better robot, but that automatically put me in battles with the same robots that must have all been close to max upgrade because then I would only survive 60 seconds. So don’t bother spending your money on this proxy game. I would land in amongst 3 of my team mates and somehow draw all the fire. Surely my team mates have already taken fire and it would benefit the enemy to finish killing at least one of them? I’ve read elsewhere that you’re playing server bots and only one or two real players, which seems probable when players with elite bots haven’t changed their name. ✓ A total waste of time and money!This site cannot stay up for any length of time. CRASH,CRASH, CRASH! Cannot even operate the opening window without the site crashing and closing down. Full game without the site crashing, impossible. They seem to know about the failures while using the site, as it will allow you to rejoin the battles, if it can connect you again before everyone else is still playing. Seems to not be compatible with iOS products. Spending money to improve your team would be a total waste of money, as you wouldn’t get to even use your improved robots before it crashes again and you have to go thru the process to rejoin the game. ✓ It could be the funnest game ever.The matches start randomly and when you enter a match it could be half way done and your team is almost all eliminated. The matches almost always uneven. You have to go against people with way better robot mechs then yours. They are on a level so much higher then what others are its not even fun. You just respawn and bang, one shot and your out of the match so its extremely un fair. Its wicked expensive to play with good mechs. Some one could easily drop $10,000 dollars on this game, easily. But here is the worst part: you can pay to upgrade your mech but then they put you in with players that are far superior than your that you'll have to upgrade yet again. This game could be super fun but like the other kid said “all they care about is making money” and not improving their product . ✓ Good game in generalThis game is ok it has decent combat mechanics, I love how you can go to 1st person, and great weapons in general! ✓ I like the game!!!They simply released it to early. There is really no way to justify these developers charging for anything in this game if there servers drop you 4 out of 10 games. I just cannot support it. Otherwise, if they fix that huge issue they may have enough players stick around to fill out a match without using AI. The games has come along way since I first played it, but they are dropping in new content and bots that are crazy OP. Not even funny OP. I literally have seen 3 of the $100 bots die only because the player discounted from the server. They need a test server to iron out how OP the new content is before it drops on the live server. Players are not really sticking around so you will literally play with and against the same guys 3-5 games straight before it shuffles or you disconnect from the server. You can expect to see the same players and bots in a 1 hour sitting about 20 times. It works out if they are not better than you. Fix the server issue and then the Hacker issue. ✓ Has PotentialAt the end of the day you will realise you normally have matches with 1v1 or if you are lucky 2v2, with other teammates on both sides being AI bots. Deciding factor of the match is mostly who has more progression or bought more from the store, as you can be matched up with someone a lot less equiped, or a lot more equiped. However, the worlds are never updated and it gets quite boring to play. I’ve been playing off and on for years, and made the mistake of purchasing coin, only to be disappointed due to a lack of prompt updates and the algorithms seem to never match you with your similar level of opponents. It’s frustrating. The only draw it seems to have and/or offer is to play and upgrade, but every upgrade only puts you into more unequally matched scenarios. Like one round you’ll be placed with people with very low ranked uploads and beat the opposing team well before the time limit. Then the next round you’ll be the low ranked team and get killed before you have a chance to play. It’s quite annoying. Not sure if the makers really care to provide logical and useful updates an longer. So, if you do end up downloading not waste money purchasing anything. It’s a rip off..Version: 1.1.11

✓ Game is good, but group manager needs work.Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great game but I noticed that lower level players are being put up against higher level players a lot of the time. I’m currently a level 17 but I’m being put up against level 35+ which is an unfair advantage. It gets frustrating when I can play a good game in one server against about the same level players then the next server, everyone is 10+ levels ahead so I barely can play half a game without getting demolished. ✓ Great game for those that want to play without a massive commitment.I moved from War Robots to this game as the pay to play element was ridiculous! Since the last update Robot Warfare have gone down the same route. It takes over a year to upgrade a robot to the highest level and you can have up to 10 bots to fight with. You will never play to a decent level unless you pay yet you will be dropped into battle with those of a much higher level. Very little contact from the developers. DO NOT PLAY!.Version: 1.1.11

✓ Unannounced changes - sad timesMoved over to this game from another leading mech game perhaps a year ago now. All good up until the latest update. Try as I might, I can’t find a list of specific things that have changed with the latest (may 21) update. Though they are numerous and pretty cack IMO. I understand entirely the need to update and keep things fresh, but baby steps is better than ruining it all together immediately. I’ve spent a long time farming upgrades as a strictly ftp player. I’ve been tempted to part with cash a few times, but won’t be anymore. Getting thrashed once in a while by someone who is willing to part with hundreds in real money I have to accept. It happens. What I can’t abide by is the devs dramatically changing the stats of favoured and upgraded robots and weapons (which have taken me a considered amount of time), meaning I now have to start from scratch if I want to keep playing, because the changes, make my upgraded stuff pointless. Half the enemy “players” IGNORING the people directly in front of them and coming after me specifically... REALLY??? HALF of my “teammates” are ALWAYS walking backwards and facing the wrong way, getting IN MY WAY 100% of the time. Artificially enhanced enemy ai, with weapon damage and health amounts that TOTALLY IGNORE the upgrade process of a given robot. Bullet weapons can shoot through walls and buildings??? The game looses server sync after every other match causing you to have to reload the game every few minutes... ahhhhh NO THANK YOU! Your IAP become more of a rip off the MORE you spend? Should it not be the other way around? Robots take full damage from each other regardless of level or upgrade??? (My level 12 dies as quickly as it did at level 1 against robots my hud claims are not upgraded???) I gave this game $100 because I believed in it. I’m sorry to say that is the ONLY $ you will ever get from me. The developers know that one robot is a major problem in that it never goes out of stealth, but they refuse to fix it, so that more people will spend $40 to buy it. The developers have known about this “problem” for months but have never fixed it and I doubt they ever will. ✓ Pay to win & watch a ton of adsPretty cool concept and graphics. After level 17 you must manufacture new robots and guns. Manufactured bots have special abilities like invisibility that are extremely hard to kill with your generics, so it becomes a must to continue play. Upgrades get increasingly expensive. At this point you are also frequently pitted against these better robots and guns so you lose more than you win and make very little for your efforts. For the game developers though, that's the point. Either lose or shell out the cash. I tried. I quit. Sticking with Mech Wars..Version: 1.1.11

✓ Better w new version.The game is somewhat better since the May update to the SeaLion server. Game crashes are much less, graphics are nicer, and a few new robots helped balance play slightly. You play against more people now and less computer, so it is harder to make easy points. Then again, you get better battles. So, take your pick. The Yamabushi is still king robot. And balance still isn’t quite right. But so many players have gone that way that any reduction on the bot would be sacrificing their time & money. They added teams which does help balance against strong players crushing weaker ones. But, load a team with Yamabushi bots and they will steamroll every game. Hasn’t happened yet, but it’s an obvious progression coming..Version: 1.1.11

✓ It shows hopeHad a few games so far, it seems okay graphically not too bad, I’d expect with further updates over time things would probably be sharpened up. Comparing to similar bot games I’ve played like war robots and mech battle this is okay, I find the aiming and firing all a bit strange to get used to it all feels a bit jumpy but it’s playable. I think it shows hope that in future updates it could be the new favourite amongst the robot games as long as they don’t make purchases any where near the same price as war robots. The reason I’m leaving only 2 stars is because every time I finish a battle it loads to the next screen and just crashes, I have to reset the app wait for it to all load up and then I can carry on. ✓ Caution: Fun but an unsupported appHi, I have been a consistent player for over six months. I have enjoyed the game as it's a more straightforward robot shoot 'em up compared to war robots. Unlike war robots, it is less pay to win. Yes, money helps, but if you are willing to buy the miner (contrary to comments elsewhere it is a good deal ) and grind it to around 600K in power, you will win more than you lose. That said, there are four things that Azur could do to improve this game: 1) Slash Prices by 75%. 2) Fix the horrid matchmaking. For example, it is not uncommon for three players with 1000K power ratings to face three players who are less than half that. 3) support the product. Commit to answering players technical concerns within 24 hours. They should start with an automated reply, which did not characterize my last experience with a game bug. 4) it would be nice if Azur either sells the game or finds a backer who is willing to invest for an occasional new map, new robot, or new weapon. I know this is a dream, but, I think, this is a more player friendly game than War Robots. Really wish this game was more popular - it deserves it..Version: 1.1.11

✓ SeriouslyI switched from war robots to this to get away from bs matchmaking, and yet this games matchmaking is somehow even worse. From level 12 on I was matched against people at least level 17, had an entire team who didn’t touch beacons, or experienced the literal worst lag I have ever seen on a shooter, up to 3 second delay, which wouldn’t be a big deal except most shoot offs end in a couple seconds, or better yet all 3 of the above. This game was going to be my new go to game, but honestly I’d rather be fighting pay to win vs play to win on war robots then this mess, for reals. This game has a lot of potential and I prefer the way this game plays to war robots, but I’m not gonna lose 4/5 of my games because of crappy team mates, lag, and overleveled opponents..Version: 1.1.3

I say fairly because they have this feature that some of the “PAY” to play robots they have are invisible. You can still kill them eventually but it’s almost always the invisible bots advantage. All was good I was growing my little group of bots with decent guns. BOOM!!! They sent out a major update. That’s all well and good to update the performance and enhance the game. ✓ Good game - Match Making Needs FixingI like the game. The graphics are great. The maps are interesting. The game mechanics seem balanced with an interesting range of weapon types. The pay to win aspect is typical for most games and I find you can do free to play if you want to spend the time grinding. The only issue is related to match making because it pairs you up with players who are 50%-100% more powerful. That is the only issue which desperately needs fixing. Why would I want to spend money on the game if you still get absolutely wiped by opponents twice as powerful as you. Some games your robot lasts less than 30 seconds- even with a bot I spent a few bucks to get. Seriously - your income would increase if you fixed this single issue. Otherwise, you have a great game. Hopefully the devs see this. The number of live players is limited, though I suspect that would change if you made the match making so players have a reasonable chance..Version: 1.1.11
✓ Good overallIt’s a good game overall. Quick matches easy to learn. Only issues are I have been booted from the server on a number of occasions and had to reconnect mid match which kicks me from the match completely. Second is I’ve played some matches where someone, may be the same person (I can’t read Chinese) is way overpowered and can kill you in only one or two shots from clear across the map. ✓ Matching system need fixingI gave this 1 Star because the matching system need fixing, most the time the system will match top player with another strong player while other team have less and weaker player. Maybe this is intentional to get you to spend more money, as for the game play it’s fantastic, this is a PVP game so the matching system is really what make the game, if it’s ever fix then this would be 5 Stars game! ✓ Copycat!!!This game is just ok. It is just like the game War Robots but just as not up to par as War Robots. This game needs to make weapons more affordable. To even unlock a weapon, you would have to play get a minimum of 500 gold and that weapon is not even that great than what you got. The auto balance if there is any needs work. People can’t even compete with other players that have higher weapons and robots. I go through 3 robots in less than 2 minutes. The weapons kills me in one shot. To stay competitive, you need to purchase robots and weapons that’s expensive. So far this has no competition to War Robots..Version: 1.1.3
✓ Good and badThe game was more playable before the May 2021 update even though the update has a lot of good cosmetic additions and unlocked more of the special bots. Before the update it would be a 4star game. They nerfed a few things and the rewards seem to be substantially less (ie before the recent update I consistently earned 400k silver per battle, max 760k - now it is more like avg 200k). The combat hud changes are also strange, obscuring more of the field of view with icons and reticles. Some of the changes may make it more balanced, but silver rewards seem less than before making it more of a challenge to level weapons and gear. Unless rewards are weighted by level (I don’t think they are) new players may have trouble advancing far without paying real money or grinding for a year. It seems when they made it it wasn’t well balanced, then rebalancing made it less rewarding to play. I still like the core of the game play, I do recommend it for anyone who likes mech style games..Version: 1.1.11
✓ Starts great but.....When you get around level 20-23 there is a no skill, no strategy robot called Hunter which just sits behind cover on the other side of the board and rains down long arching rockets until it takes you out. There is nothing you can do because you can’t get to it without being taken out. There is one in just about every battle draining the fun out of the game for everyone. ✓ Game improvement.The game is fun to play. Do you want to hear what would greatly improve it? All you have to do is update it to make it compatible with the use of a Bluetooth controller. Believe me, using a controller as opposed to using touch screen would make the game so much better & more fun! People with iPads & computers would be so delighted at that prospect, that there would be a rush of new players wanting to play the game. Using a controller is more preferred than using a touch screen, & it’s easier. Believe me. I have turned down iOS video games, because they aren’t compatible with my Mad Catz Bluetooth controller. ✓ This is a good game but......The matchmaking is totally flawed. I just played 5 games where the same two players were in the other team every game. Their robots were massively more powerful than everyone on my team and they killed 11 players each where I managed to kill 1. This is not to say that I had basic robots, or basic weapons, no- I have been grinding hard to get them all up to level 10. However, when I meet one of these pay to win players, they reduce my level 10 robot to dust with one salvo. It’s ludicrous to be honest and spoils a potentially good game. ✓ PotentialThe idea of the game has great potential. But the Ai’s are either overpowered or useless. There is a definite power gap between silver bots and weapons vs gold bought. This game can easily become another pay-to-win game, but I hope that the developers find a great way to balance out the payers vs the players. Unfair matchmaking is still an issue, as is game crashes and a lot of lag from time to time. There doesn’t seem to be much silver weapon choice in the 1st 15 levels. Player like diversity and more guns or rockets to choose from. How about weapons that freeze or overheat the enemy? NEW IDEAS- give the players something to work towards. I find it fun to grind for hours, but I expect a decent payout. I don’t want to grind for 3-5 hrs and feel I made no progress. Pixonics War robots has become a pay-to-win, it was a great game a few years ago, when the Carnage and Rhino dominated, and weapons like the taran, hydra, and trebuchet were all great weapons. ✓ And ruined by money mongeringIt was a great game, been playing it shortly after it came out. But stuff like a mech of course gotta pay real money for more or less that can go invisible, which not much of a problem u can aim. But then it has shields and hides behind hills while drone with rapid firing shield piercing guns and can warp halfway across the map with apparently no cool down is just stupid I had level 10 guns with a mjolnir (shotgun) all close range guns dropped on it and the best I got was it’s shields to half. The thing destroyed my entire team to itself all our lives and the best we did was get its shields down once combined and got it below half health.Version: 1.1.11

✓ Obviously these games are rigged!I just played two games in a row where the team I was on won by a long shot, both times the other team was down to one player and both times we had more beacons and points at the end of the battle. Yet we got the DEFEAT flag at the end. I wish I could attach a screen shot of the second game’s final score but apple doesn’t allow that anymore. I wonder why? ✓ More pay to win....The same old same old just really strange designs for the bots. Not as expensive but not as nice. Played 20 games lost 18. No free love. I think they are trying to harvest the disgruntled WR players. Normally I would be behind that but being in a slightly less abusive relationship is not for me. The weapon balance is nonexistent it is all long range BS that can not be avoided. So all the players are one trick ponies so I am unsure why anyone would use any other weapons. It is impossible to believe the developers did not know what they were doing. Again they ask players for reviews when they are at low levels and the game is fair and balanced.
