✓ Fun, but...This is a very entertaining and well made game, but levels are locked behind coin requirements. Coins can be won by playing other levels, watching ads, or by spending gems, which cost real money. To unlock the full game you would have to replay levels over and over and over again, watch a ridiculous number of ads, or spend an obscene amount of money for what you’re getting. The unlock costs need to be reworked to be less punishing, currently it only exists to force players into buying microtransactions.Version: 1.1.1

✓ I’m a fan of the game and the series, but..Devs, please read this. Don’t get me wrong, I love everything about this. At first they made it absolutely free, the only method to unlock new levels was to be good at the game. Which I personally thought was way too generous. But now with the new update, it actually costs more to unlock the full game than the game’s price on Steam. $9.99 (the full game price on PC) will get you 160 gems, plus the five gems you get at the beginning of the game. Later levels will cost you 120 gems total to unlock. That leaves you with 45. The rest of that can be converted into 12,000 coins, which will unlock at most 3 new level sets, while you still need a good 30,000 more or so to unlock the rest of the game. Coins can be earned through gameplay, but you’ll be repeatedly playing the same levels for hours to get the necessary amount, or sit through over an hour’s worth of ads..Version: 1.1.0
✓ This game a great potential, and some problemsThis game has some glaring issues. For one thing the progression is way too slow. When I finish a character’s arc I want to be able to move on. But I have to spend days watching ads to get the next character. Also, the game gets STUPIDLY hard as you progress. The game is difficult for the wrong reasons. Getting all 3 stars on a level is insanely hard and is unenjoyable. I would pay money for this game on a console if all of these issues are fixed. This is still a high quality mobile title, but it has issues. My first review of the game was much more positive, but now I’m not so sure..Version: 1.1.7

✓ Hmmmm...I’m beginning to wonder if I should just delete this dumb app or not. To be honest I just don’t like how little coins you get from completing levels, not to mention that it’s way too hard to get three stars without any power ups. The only reason I haven’t deleted this game yet is that my mom let me buy a few gems several months ago. Another reason I’m considering deleting this app is that I’ve noticed that instead of creating completely new levels for characters later on, you guys just plain got lazy and re-created the exact same levels for newer characters later on. For example, the octopus and eel have the EXACT SAME levels and objectives, which is quite lazy for a game. ✓ Tasty Planet Goes Pay-To-WinIt quickly becomes impossible to 3-star levels without buying accessories for characters, and bonus levels are locked behind ridiculous star requirements. There’s a scoring system determining how you get stars instead of time, which allows them to market score boosters and other consumables. There’s also a lot of grinding to unlock new worlds with coins and some worlds require you to pay to unlock. The gameplay itself is more Tasty Planet. It’s excellent. Just sad that the free to play mechanics mess up an otherwise great game..Version: 1.1.1
