✓ It’s cute but very hardThis games is really cute but needs some improvement Like with the little coins 24 ads just to get one little coin? And also when your cats are fighting it gets really annoying with how slow the cats walk to fight the other cats and with the fish to level up your cats we need more because i can’t level up my level 5 cat or something that needs 16 with 14 fish. ✓ So. Freaking. Adorable!!!I discovered this game on my iPad a few weeks ago, and it is the definition of cute! 😍 I really have no problem with this game. The art is adorable, the graphics are smooth, the concept is clever and the storyline is amazing! Even if they may not completely make sense, the fights are adorable, and (part of) what makes the game awesome! As a proud cat and RPG lover, I’m glad I found this game. I tap my target and press attack, and sometimes it says missed, and when they attack me I get distracted, and I clearly am not distracted, and it makes me lose😢. Please fox this! ✓ Nitpicky problems but otherwise amazingI was looking for this kind of cute game and I was not disappointed. It has a beautiful art style, hilarious voice lines and a cute story. It’s pretty short, but it can be pretty hard in some areas, and you can always restart the game, or set goals like collect every cat or get 3 stars on every level. I love this game, but there are a few annoying problems, and they are reflected in most of the reviews: if you get stuck you lose your turn, the opponents hardly miss, and you can get stuck with blocking attacks every turn. There are two more glitches as well, the one where it says it’s one cat’s turn and it commands another instead, and (this only happened once) when I pressed the move and nothing happened. I was still seeing the cats bob up and down, but no moves. However, getting over these minor cons, I really think this game is really good and I recommend it completely..Version: 1.0

✓ Fun but hardSo this game is great and fun and i would recommend it except for one thing, this is very hard one problem is that the cats in the back of your party have trouble attacking because they get stuck behind the other cats, then if you don’t put anyone in the back you will be defeated faster. ✓ Fun but repetitiveThe fights are hard. Even if you have really good cats. Most of my attacks miss on the harder levels when the enemies barely miss, this can get frustrating. You’ll end up trying a fight, losing, trying to level up, fighting again, continually until you finally defeat the enemies. Then do it again. The game has some fun aspects, though. The art style is cute and the overall story is fun to play through. I’d be fine with the fighting being challenging, but the way it is is a little much..Version: 1.0

✓ Grrrr.It looks beautiful. I just got it today, but there is some flaws... For example in order to get a coin each day you have to 25 videos. Also there’s this creamy-like cat which looks cute but whenever I try to attack it, with a leaf or flower, it sends it back, which makes me really angry. It goes on for a long time and just when I’m about to win I die because I can never hit it or if it doesn’t touch I take damage and I also miss. Maybe I said this too early because I did just get it today. But right now I’m really frustrated. ✓ Great, but some problemsThis game is splendid, it’s addicting & very fun to play. The battles remind me of Pokemon, and I like that. Obtaining cats and battling cats is very fun, I also really enjoy the dialogue at the ends, middles or beginnings of the battles. I just really dislike how much grinding you have to do. There is quite a large gap between some of the stages. Especially in the city, it took me nearly 3 weeks to get to the boss, and I think part of that is because of how difficult it gets. It’s either it’s incredibly difficult or it’s pretty easy, there are some levels for me personally that are in between, but I would say only 1 or 2. I would love it if this game could just make the battles less frustrating, otherwise it’s amazing. 8/10, great job.Version: 1.0
✓ Very good, but I have some suggestionsIt’s really fun, and has a nice art style and visuals however I think watching 25 adds for 1 coin is a insane amount of adds. One thing that’s really annoying is when you accidentally press the flee button, there’s no “are you sure you want to flee?” So I end up losing that game because I accidentally pressed the flee button. The final problem I have is one time I was going against a opponent, who had 2 hearts. I had 6 (2 cats were ok the battle field), then the 1 cat blocked, or my cats missed EVERY SINGLE ATTACK, and the other team won. ✓ Amazing ❤️Hello! I think this game is great! It’s cute, has a good story that's pretty long, and moves continuously as long as you’re able to pass levels. The fighting is a bit weird, I would like it better if the cats took turns attacking and then moving back to their spaces, so it’s not a bunch of cats scratching and pushing each other in a cramped space. It’s not super hard, especially if you have a cat with Think (they can tell what action would help the fight or automatically win) and mostly using actions and not fighting as much (especially on more end-game levels, nearly impossible to win with only fighting) Anyway, I definitely recommend it, especially if you like story games and/or cats. I love cats, story games, and the Warriors series (I renamed the cats to have warrior names lol) Wonderful game!.Version: 1.0

✓ Fantastic gameBeautifully designed game. The art, story, music, characters; everything is so appealing on multiple levels. Winning combat is incredibly satisfying though sometimes encounters are quite difficult and the mechanics of what attacks will ‘miss’ or not aren’t all the way clear (however that could just be an issue on my end). Leveling up is rewarding and the process of grinding isn’t even that tedious because of how lovely the game is. The only real criticism I have of Wholesome Cats is that, like I said earlier, some of the battle mechanics are confusing. I don’t mind the difficulty curve between areas but I wish there was more clarity to why attacks land vs when they don’t. Overall, though, I can’t get enough of this game and I will continue to recommend it to my friends. :^).Version: 1.0

✓ WE HAVE A WINNER!!This is a simple, silly and fun game to play whenever you’re bored and lying around. I originally found this game on my laptop and I fell in love with the cute graphics and ridiculously silly one liners. It is so easy to get addicted, I have spent hours going back and forth over Half-Moon Isle getting fish and new recruits. On my laptop, I always thought it was fun albeit a little clunky, but the app version is SO much smoother. However, don’t play this game with the expectation of intense gameplay or deep storyline, it is ALL👏🏼JUST👏🏼FOR FUN👏🏼. My only complaints are that I never can be able to link my devices or even create an account, even if I receive the email and verify and that so much of the game is down to chance, especially if you are stuck with a rubbish team and use up all your gold trying to get better members. ✓ Needs ImprovingI feel like this game can just be too difficult if you don’t get the right cats with the right actions. I think a way you could really improve the difficulty without making the game overly easy is by letting you still get the cats at the end of a level by replaying the level. A way to balance this out is to keep it so that you can’t auto complete a level with an action. That way you don’t just miss out on cats because you were unlucky or didn’t have the right action. I feel like I can’t complete this game without deleting it and retrying or spending money. Also, daily rewards would be awesome. Overall this game is awesome but it’s way to difficult for me to fully enjoy it..Version: 1.0
