✓ Great game! Just one thing....So! I like playing this game when I feel really creative or is just plain bored..overall great game. But, for IPhone XS Max users, there is a “swipe-up” sort of button on the bottom of our screen. When I am toggling through different color choices (for every category, ex: hair), I have to continue swiping down and up when I’m on the bottom of the color options. This might be hard to understand, but my point is certain phones such as the IPhone XS Max, are harder to be creative with due to lack of color options, which isn’t the developers fault, but, it would be nice if you can use different ways of picking colors. An example of that is making it so the color options can be on another tab and that it could be horizontal, not vertical. - Just an average boring teen -.Version: 2.31

✓ Awesome! But could use more substance...I love this! The art and animation of the character is stunning, kudos to the artist for putting in a lot of time in order to create this. My one issue is that I seem to get stuck with using the same features over and over. Just a few more options, especially with hair and clothing. I know this could be a lot to ask from the artist but the added variety will further increase the versatility. Some features I would personally like to see is options for curly/kinky hair, more masculine or androgynous eye shapes and clothing. ✓ Some Things Could Be Added/FixedI love this game, it’s really nice to be able to make my characters, and come up with ideas for future ones. The art is beautiful, and there are many different things too choose from! The only small problems that I have are that it’s kind of hard to make dark skinned characters. When you make the skin darker it keeps some parts white, so it doesn’t look that realistic. I also saw that some of the bad reviews had that they didn’t get what they purchased for, I’m not sure if they’re lying or if it’s already been fixed, but if it hasn’t been fixed then it is a problem that should be looked on. It’s really easy to get stars for free by watching a couple 30 second ads, so I don’t have any problem with that. I wish there was more curly hair options, and a bald option. Other than those small things, this app is amazing for creating characters, and I would highly recommend!.Version: 2.31

✓ Gorgeous, Simple, Flawless! ...AlmostI downloaded this game today, and I love it! The design is incredible, it looks beautiful! Every little detail matters in the artwork and it looks great! The controls are simple and easy to get used to, so you’ve also done a great job on programming it! This game would be perfect except for one small problem. When I save a portrait, effects don’t save when I reload it. I know the effects aren’t supposed to save, but I think it would be helpful if you could do this. I’ve worked my way around it by screenshooting a look when I’m finished to avoid loosing it. And one more thing, sometimes the game crashes and doesn’t save my look. It’s not such a major issue, but I would appreciate it if you took the time to fix this. ✓ Amazing, but....This app is truly awesome! It really helps put a face to a name when creating characters, and even help with designs and ideas. It has been really helpful but it is a bit limited in a couple of ways. One of them is the face shape. If it were possible to change the face shape of the model then I would undoubtedly have given it give stars instead of four. It would be really nice to be able to change the face shape to add a bit more distinction between designs. The second reason is weight. I would absolutely love to be able to make heavier characters but you can only go so far in this app and even then they just look a little bit bigger than normal. If these things were improved upon, I would definitely give this app a five star review. Other than those couple of things, this app is by far the best I've ever seen..Version: 2.31

But, I just have some suggestions, and to start, maybe try and make some more of the hairs? Because I have a few OCs(Original Characters) with short hair. Almost like guy hair pretty much. And wanted to be able to make the character in this app? Also, maybe add some guy features? Like smaller eyelash hair and things you could put on a male avatar. ✓ Love it! But one problem...I have been using this app for about a month now and I love it. One of the best apps that I have ever played. I love making my own characters and I love how you don't have to pay money to unlock more. The only problem is that every once in a while a character get completely erased. The name of the character is still there but the image of my character is completely gone. It turns back into the default avatar. It's pretty annoying since I have to do my character all over again. ✓ Mostly l love itI really love this app because it’s so great for visualizing and creating characters and I love that you can adjust all the features but other than being able to adjust them the features seem somewhat limited like there are no noses that are wider without adjusting them and there are no lips that are thinner so if you end up adding more things in the future I’d suggest more types (like shape wise) of noses and lips, maybe dreadlocks, braids and curly bangs in the hair section, possibly more types of accessories like more necklaces, piercings, headbands, possibly some more makeup options, and maybe in clothes some head raps like a hijab. ✓ Great! But there are a few bugs.(This is an edited review) I downloaded this app a while ago, and yes, there were a few bugs. Mainly with the tabs not working correctly, and my characters not keeping their saved skin tones. But, since my last review, all of the bugs that I experienced have been fixed. Within this app there are several nice touches, such as the unique art style, creative filters, fun-to-mess with hair color gradients, a very cool multi-colored eye option, movable facial/body features, etc. Some may say it’s still a tad low on content, but I say that if nothing else were to be added, you could still get a widely diversified cast of characters. -Bugs/Issues- (updated) 1. One of the only things I can say that is bothering me, now, (and this isn’t even necessary to change) is that there isn’t a hair-color-match button. So far, I HAVE found it surprisingly easy to match the eyebrows/hair/bangs with a little slide-tinkering, but it would be a convenient little option, if at all possible. This is far from game-breaking, however, and I’d quickly and gladly recommend this app to anyone looking for a nice avatar creator. In fact, I already have. Nice job! :).Version: 2.31

✓ One Little ThingI do recommend this game if you like being creative like me I also recommend the men version as well. But that day the day I downloaded this game I thought I could make any character I want but then I realized that you have to pay for some things but on the men’s version the stars aren’t even a thing. But the thing I find most annoying is that you don’t even get a daily reward instead you have to watch an advertisement or pay yourself but you don’t on the men’s version. ✓ This app is great! But..I really loved the idea of this app, the description and everything really drew me in. When I downloaded it I was so excited, and when opening it the app looked even better than I expected. I customised the eyes, etc and it worked flawlessly until I tapped on the option for 'bangs'. That was when the app closed, and even after multiple attempts it still closes. Not always 'bangs' but some time after. I hope this is fixed as I really would love the app if I could use it. ✓ Best App Ever!I downloaded this app because I am a writer and artist, and I am always making characters. Let me just say, this app is SO AMAZING! The graphics are incredible, cartoonish but still semi-realistic. After downloading the girl version of the app, I downloaded the boy one because it was just that good! Some people might complain about having to get two apps to do boys and girls, but I love it this way! I can easily separate my boy characters from my girl ones. I honestly don’t have any complaints about this app. I do not like to spend money on apps, but the options they give you are so amazing! I never get tired of them, and the graphics are so well made! I really hope that the developer comes out with many more of these apps because I will download them all and use them all the time. There are a few features that you need these stars(mini currency) to unlock them but you can watch adds to get 5 each and the amount of stars needed to unlock some accessories are never over 100 stars. You can also buy stars which for $0.99 you get 200. And the other deals are fair as well. It’s full on customization and gorgeous graphics. I spend hours playing it I can’t put it down. I, for example, have a pretty unique hairstyle. Half shaved on one side (well it grew out now some now, but you get the gist!). Speaking of hair, add a feature where you can make the bangs and actual hair the same color! It’s so frustrating to get the correct hue. Also add more features to the body, such as birthmarks on the neck or shoulders, face even. Beauty marks and more scattered freckles. Add more clothing too! I tend to use the lacy tank or no shirt at all! But I love the power you have over the creation. (Also can there be a feature where guys can be made too? (Please read)This game fun and addicting but I think the makers could update the game to earn stars for you (the currency of the game) while you are off doing something else because you can watch 20 videos per day and earn 5 per video (100 for all of them) and that is often not enough to buy the best clothes and/or items. ✓ Brought back so many memories <3I used to play this all the time as a kid and I was and still am absolutely in love with Angela He’s art style. Is just so pretty and It has heavily influenced my art too! Recently I found a screenshot on my phone of an oc I made using this app and that made me want to play live portrait maker again, so that’s what I did lol. The fact that you can customise all the colours and features of your oc to your liking is great. ✓ A few problemsSo I'm absolutely in love with this app, but there are a few things that I find are lacking. For example, I would like to have seen better clothes, lips, and brow selection cause I've been using the same stuff over and over, so I would have liked to be given more options. ✓ Need a few tweaks, but overall goodI’ve tried a couple avatar makers in my life, and I’d say this is probably the best one I’ve came across so far. Even then, I think there could be a few changes they could make I’ve noticed that as opposed to the portrait maker for boys, this one doesn’t have ears. Even though most of the time the long hair covers it, I still find it a bit disturbing when in trying to make a girl with a pixie cut I also noticed that there’s only one type of frame for the glasses. I’d suggest making a few more, add a little more personality. Instead of only Harry Potter glasses, they could also add Ray-Bans, etc, so all the glasses wearing characters don’t look similar. ✓ I only have one tiny issue, and the game is great! 💛💛The game is absolutely beautiful!! Ive loved Angelas art since 2016, but only just now found out about this game! I was a little worried when I saw that some items need points, thinking "oh god, Im gonna need to spend money to enjoy this game, arent I?" But since youre able to watch ads for points and buying points is extremely cheap, I dont have a problem with it. But something Ive noticed is when resizing things or turning them, sometimes it looks a little weird. For example, when resizing the eyelids/eyelashes, that part changes, but the eye under it doesnt, and with a dark skin tone and light eyes and vise versa, its really noticeable. That makes it so I can only give myself a certain range with resizing the eyes. Its a small problem though, and whether or not its fixed wont affect me, but with how great the game is, the only things that can be fixed are insignificant. ✓ LOVE IT but...OK don’t get me wrong but I love this app, the animations are adorable, and I love all of the different choices and many different varieties you can make, but there’s this one problem I’ve been having, and I don’t think it’s a glitch. I've got to say this one with all the changeable skin/manga/drawing/illustration effects is a super great use/improvement of Unity. ✓ Great just one this!Ok, so I love the details that are in the game, especially in the hair and eyes. But the thing is I have my own character design with colours, right? So I love the fact that you can have any colours that you want in the game, it’s just that my colours on my character specifically the hair is a hard to colour to find. Not really hard but yeah. It would be so cool if you add a feature where you can import a picture and click the colour you like. That way it’s not that much time consuming and you can have fun making your character in a different animation style. I don’t really know if this is doable but yeah. And example of what I’m talking about is ibisPaint X. When you import a picture on the app you can also click ‘eye dropper’ and tap on the colour of your choice. It’s great for when you’re editing and drawing virtually. Please, please please can you add this feature if you can. I spent more than 10 minutes trying to find the hair colour, I obviously found things close to the colour it’s just that I want it to become perfect. ✓ Beautiful but annoyingThis app is beautiful and I use it to brainstorm character designs for my art and writing. It’s a wonderful tool to be able to see them in a semi-3D space. However, the ads to unlock certain features don’t work. Not even an error message, it just doesn’t show the ad so you can never use those things without paying real money. I’d be happy to watch the ads if they would actually show but they don’t. Unrelated suggestion, some different shaped noses, lips, eyes, and jaws would be fantastic. I understand that you guys as the creators need to have some things for sale as it is a free app, and it is also highly appreciated by me that you have the option to watch ads in order to get a smaller amount of stars to get things, but for some reason it won’t work for me. It asks if there is connection and I know there is, since I’m at home and I can watch ads on my other games. I use this app to make some of my OCs, since sometimes I’m too lazy to draw or animate them, and I love all of the free options, but sometimes I have to compromise my OCs features for other, less accurate things. ✓ Best creation app!This is by far my favorite character creator I’ve ever come across. I’m so excited for future updates to allow for even more customization. The luminosity of the bangs’ highlights tend to spread a bit to the forehead, but besides that everything is perfect. I hope that one day male customization options will be added, but I understand that would take a large amount of work. For some smaller changes I’d like to see, I’d love if it were possible to change face shapes, and choose hairstyles without bangs. It’d be great to have pixie cut and shaved styles added. ✓ Having trouble trading ads for starsI’ve been using this app for two to three days now, and I really like it. The animation is incredible, the customization is various, and there’s a color spectrum so users can make the character and their clothes whatever color they want, even being able to name and GIF them. However, since I don’t want to have to spend money to get stars, I choose to watch ads instead. After an ad or two, the app no longer lets me watch anymore, and instead of it saying “18 left today”, it goes back to saying “20 left today”. I still have the stars that I received from watching the ads that popped up, but I can’t get anymore because the app won’t let me. I’m not sure if it’s because of my phone since it’s saying “Couldn’t show video.(Is there connection?”, or if it’s a glitch in the app. I have signal and the data is on, but it’s not letting me watch an ad. ✓ I don’t know.This app is absolutely gorgeous. The animation, art, and limitation to gameplay are all beyond perfect. This game is so beautiful. But I have one complaint. I just bought some stars a little bit ago. I restarted the game hoping they would appear. But they didn’t, I restarted it multiple times even trying to buy something to see if it would work and, sure enough, it did not. I don’t know if it’s just the connection to internet because currently, there is a storm going on, or if it’s actually refusing to give me my stars. I’m scared because I really wanted those stars. Honestly I don’t want to be scammed and it was used with my mothers money so if they don’t show up..I just don’t know. But other than that, it’s awesome. There is nothing else bothering me! ✓ I love everything but..This is such a fun creative app! I love making these cute very well drawn and animated avi’s. It’s exciting and fun to play with all the possibilities (which there are a lot if you take the time and really go into detail). My only complaint is that when I went to show my friends my favorite saved avi her skin tone was different, she was missing the dazzle effects, and the background color changed as well (looking very unflattering as her makeup no longer fit her skin tone). I tried to change her skin color back to a similar one and added everything back. I went back to her and she was changed again. The weirdest part about it is, it’s only that particular avi that does it. If this was fixed it’s definitely a 5 star app! I can’t wait for future updates and more to come!.Version: 1.9

✓ HAIR AND BANGS NEED TO MATCH!I love the app. Taking a character and bringing them to life is great! My only problem is that I spend like ten to twenty minutes trying to get the color of the bangs to match the hair color. I think that if there was a button to push that set the bangs to match the hair or visa versa then it would make the characters look so much better because it’s really annoying having to spend so much time adjusting the three different color options so that the bangs and hair match. I also think that there needs to be a little more variety especially with hair styles. There are SOO many different hairstyles in the world and ten hairstyles may sound great but that’s really not so many. I would love to see more hairstyles added. I like hair down but that’s more of a personal preference so I think it would be great to add more styles down and more up too but it really needs more variety not just with hair but I would say hair is the most important..Version: 2.31

Having to watch like 10 videos for a necklace is no fun at all. I use this often to help myself visualize characters I need for my stories and other creations. However, I think more effort should be focused towards more diversity within this app (and the male version of this app too). I was attempting to create a black character but failed to find the features I wanted to properly represent what I had in mind (lack of abundantly curly hair choices, varieties of different nose shapes, etc.) I think if more diverse facial and hair features were added, then I would personally be thrilled. The art is awesome, the options are fun and attractive, and it’s very cool to be able to overlay certain options over others. If you want to unlock all the features, you can either watch ads for stars (game currency) or pay for stars. I’ve unlocked most of the game’s features, but one day I did an update and lost them all. There’s no cloud backup or record to see you’ve gained stars by watching ads, so I’m at a loss. My issue is that I’m giving the app ad time while playing, lost everything, but now the ads won’t even play. Dev Team: Please look into why the ad player is malfunctioning and why I lost my things!
