Could be nice but......Doesn’t import artists from Apple Music. Tried re-installing, re-importing via Settings etc. (iOS 13.3.1) Manually adding an artist worked. Is this only me? Niggles: - No obvious support point on developer’s web page linked from the App Store. - Settings only visible on the Releases tab when default tab is Artists. Hard to locate. - Does the app really need to grab audio as soon as it launches?.Version: 3.1.4

Alright appThe app works well enough but it has a hard time finding artists sharing the same name. Example being I want to add Celeste the metal band and I only get pop artists as choices when doing a search by band name. Maybe if we could do a reverse search by album names? Anyways until this is fixed it’s not worth getting the in-app purchases..Version: 4.1.4

Concept was great but the app isn’t useableThe app constantly freezes on me. Sometimes I can’t do anything with it, at most, I’ll be able to change the tab once or twice before it freezes on me..Version: 1.8.0

CrashesWhen scrolling through feeds it crashes to home screen..Version: 1.4.2

Stupid subscription ststemI was excited for the most recent update “Spotify Integration!”, and then realised you have to pay?! And guess what, Apple Music is FREE to link with this app, but because I use Spotify I have to pay?! Please fix your paid features, it’s just unfair.Version: 4.0.6

Notifications don’t workThe app itself works well, with exception of raising notifications. It used to work until a month or two ago and since then nothing. Other reviews indicate the same problem. I’ve also got issues with certain artists not showing any content when they do have songs in Apple Music, but the emails I’ve sent to the developer have not been replied to. Summary: It’s a good app, while it works..Version: 4.2.6

My favorite way of tracking new releases from my favorite artists! BUT, there’s a problem…I highly recommend music fans download this app and use it to preview and save new releases from your favorite artists! However, although notifications for new releases are advertised as a feature, this has never worked for me. I’ve had the app for several months, upgraded to all paid benefits, and made sure my Notification Center settings are all checked for this app. However, I’ve never once received a notification. THe reason I’m posting only 3 stars is because after reporting the issue to the developer, he was very dismissive. I found that deserved a lower rating, and a review—explaining my experience. I guess: don’t expect notifications to work, and don’t expect the developer to care?.Version: 3.1.9

App shouldn’t auto-play musicIf you leave the app and come back, the music should pause. Especially if you had headphones in at first, switched to another app, and then came back to the app without headphones on. Pause button did not show up until I clicked another song, causing confusion since I was looking for said button. Eventually I just stared mashing stuff until the pause button showed up. Maybe also just set an inactivity timer. If app hasn’t been active app in 5 minutes, pause. Probably should always pause because of people are that into the album, they should listen in Apple Music..Version: 3.0.10

Awful?I don't get the point of making this free if you can't import a single artist from spotify without asking for the pro version and a payment. The app isn't free at all then? I thought only select features were free but I can't use the app at all now... What's the point of it without pro to search for artists you follow and see their upcoming releases. I feel like this is a misdirect in marketing?.Version: 4.5.8

Why be deceitful?Must be ran by a record label because on the outside it’s everything you’ve dreamt of but just before you sign the dotted line they let you know the app is indeed $6. WHO CARES IF YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THE APP FOR FREE IF IT COSTS MONEY AFTER YOU DOWNLOAD IT? $6 won’t break anyone but I really don’t like financial surprises of any sort because it tells you exactly who you’re dealing with. I would have purchased this had it been made clear it was $6 up front..Version: 4.5.2

Removal of ConcertsIncredible app for tracking your artists new releases. The removal of the concerts feature is irksome—I bet it wasn’t used a whole lot in 2020 but as concerts ramp up in 2021 I sure would have liked the feature to stick around—and to replace a purchased feature with a completely different feature not related to concerts at all does little to soften the blow. Additionally, the remaining concert integration (searching SongKick one artist at a time) is really not a feature, just more of a small allowance for those upset by the removal of a robust feature..Version: 4.3.0

Used to be goodIt just keeps on crashing after the last update.Version: 1.4.1

Good start but needs work to show future releasesI like that it can show recent stuff released and easily links to Apple Music to follow my library of artists. But it'd be even more useful if it knew about future/pre-release availability, too. Didn't seem to show any in the feed for me when I know there's some coming in January you can see now..Version: 1.0

Brilliant but flawedA great app when it works but the synchronisation between versions is awful. I am fed up marking albums I have already done on my Mac. For someone who has paid up for all services I expect better..Version: 4.5.6

Concerts not loadingThe concert page won’t load for me. Have tried restarting and redownloading the app. I gave this app two starts because this is a major feature that is not working. Hopefully it can be fixed soon. It would also be nice to have a the ability to search festivals that include artists I am following around the US..Version: 4.2.6

This isn’t the correct artistI’ve noticed that singles from other artists (who I don’t know and do not follow) with a similar name or the same name are appearing under the name of the real artist. For example, the artist QUIÑ, there is a rapper with the name “QUIN” and his music is showing up under her releases. The same thing has happened with Offset and I’m sure it is happening with other artists as well. I don’t know who these people are, but they pop up as if I’m following them. Please fix this..Version: 3.1.4

No future releases tab!!I'm really confused as I see referenced in the description the supposed function to view future releases by switching between released and upcoming. I see no such tab only 'Releases' tab which is only showing past releases. App seems great for what it does yet missing the key feature which it promises to do!!.Version: 4.4.4

Not free at all..Forces you to provide payment in order to sync your music tastes with the app.. However you can manually transfer all of your music but who has time for that when there are other apps out there that will do it for free.Version: 1.0.8

No Spotify artist integrationPayed for What seemed like complete Spotify integration but it only links you to Spotify to listen to releases from artists you have MANUALLY followed.. Would not recommend for Spotify users!.Version: 4.0.1

UselessI never seem to find anything in the upcoming tab. I also noticed the recent Spotify integration, but that costs £5.99. Given its unreliability with Apple Music I can’t gamble on the purchase. It’s a shame as I was looking forward to using this app..Version: 3.2.5

Extremely Disappointed with latest DowngradeIt was an update but it’s actually a downgrade. To add the latest “great” feature, Follow Labels, Concerts has been removed. Who follows entire Labels? That’s completely useless! And now to find a concert you have to select artists, then select an artist, then select the menu, then select Search Events! Which then takes you to the Songkick website! And then it only shows you events for that artist! So if you want to see concerts near you, you have to then enter the city or cities you want to search? That’s a huge amount of effort compared to the old PAID way where the app used your location and showed you events for multiple cities within selected miles from you. So Concerts is useless now and that purchase was a waste of money! You might as well just download the Songkick app and save yourself a bunch of steps! This app just lost half its useful functionality and half its value. 2 stars because the Releases feature still works well..Version: 4.3.0

App Always crashes on iPhoneALWAYS crashes.Version: 4.6.5

AlrightOnce I open the app, it will show all the new music. The problem is that it promises to push notifications yet it does not. I find this extremely annoying as this is why I got the app. And yes I have notifications turned on..Version: 3.1.0

Mark all as viewedVery handy app, but just stumbled across a rather disappointed design flaw. I open it after several months and there were heaps of Latest Releases to check out. Awesome. I filtered it down by one artist via search, checked out their latest albums, then used the option to Mark All As Viewed. Unfortunately, this didn't marked the items in the filtered state as viewed, but every single Latest Release. Now I've lost all the Latest Releases and have no way to discover what's new, which defeats the whole purpose of the app. It would be good if you could fix this as I'm sure other users may accidentally do the same..Version: 1.0.7

Original SE & SE2Can’t handle this app well. I hope my purchase here works in a yr or two; when I upgrade. I still haven't, but Apple Music has. This app was still helpful, but hardly a savior..Version: 4.6.3

UpcomingSeems like a good app, however the upcoming page doesn’t work as nothing loads. i know of artists that are releasing songs in a matter of hours which aren’t up on this yet. is slightly disappointing as the whole reason i got this app was to be able to be notified when an artist was planning on releasing new music.Version: 3.3.7
