✓ My new favBeautiful range of overlays and textures that are easy to use and provides professional results. One point of improvement would be desirable though, the ability to set all of the overlay's blend mode at once. As I find most overlays work beautifully when changed from the default multiply mode to overlay, and having to change each one when experimenting gets a bit tiring. Aside from this one little suggestion, it's a great app. Keep up the good work!.Version: 1.0.1

It was wonderful with the first release but now with the second edition of FX plus I am absolutely loving all the options that have been added. ✓ Has been ...A great app until the recent iOS 15.1 update which, for me, killed the loading of anything but the smallest of images :( a memory issue? Upon selecting an image to use the app crashes and disappears. I've written to the devs regarding another issue but have received no response what so ever so don't hold out much hope of this getting fixed soon! I've purchased both full versions..Version: 1.1.3

✓ Very useful 👍🏼A great app. Some really good effects possible (having fun experimenting). One thing that lets itself down though is the inability to Zoom into the photo. The main selling point for me was the masking feature, but not being able to ‘zoom in’ makes this procedure a bit awkward & not precise enough. Nevertheless, money well spent. Hopefully the ability to zoom into the picture will be added in a future version 🤞🏻.Version: 1.2

✓ Great results but…The app is a joy! But for some reason the developer has it set to not download for iMac as well as iOS. Most of my iOS apps do this now, and I appreciate being able to use some of them on a larger screen with my graphics tablet as I grow older. ✓ Great App but dying for erase optionReally love this app as it has elevated some of my abstract botanical artwork easily with a quick and intuitive interface. My wish list to make this 5 star, would be to add the ability to erase portions of my layered photos and possibly even the fX layers. This would allow me to accentuate / reveal portions of the underlying photo that currently end up with unwanted shadows or glare after just the right amount of blending / dissolving. ✓ A welcome update to a great app!I purchased this app recently so I haven’t been waiting as long as other users for this great update. First about the app in general. I’ve used texture overlays in Photoshop for years. It is a labor intensive process, though, so I didn’t do it often. DistressedFX makes this process incredibly easy. There aren’t a lot of instructions with the app but there are videos on YouTube and it’s easy to learn. The only thing missing from this app was the ability to mask the effects. Well, the keyword there is “was” because this latest release added the masking ability. You can create your own mask by hand and you can also use the depth map in a Portrait Mode photo to select the foreground and background for you. Game changer!! Unfortunately, Portrait Mode depth masks aren’t always perfect. You can’t blame the app for that. Bottom line, you’ll find yourself revisiting a lot of your photos to run through this app. I highly recommend it..Version: 1.1

✓ Cube icon doesn’t respondWhen a picture is taken in portrait with iPhone camera and you proceed to Distress FX Plus window, the text “photo can be masked using depth based data in this photo” doesn’t appear in upper left hand corner. The icon for the “cube” is greyed out and doesn’t respond for text to appear nor does the arrow in the upper hand corner appear so you can flip the texture in back or front of the subject. I thought you might like to know of the problem so this issue can be addressed. I got in touch with the person who created a video explaining Distressed FX Plus and while the “cube” worked for him when he produced the video, it no longer works for him on the iPhone 15. Distressed FX is a great app and am happy with the results I get but just thought you might want to be aware of this bug. Henriette.Version: 1.2
