✓ Pretty goodThe app is still missing a few items. Sometimes I have to go to the website to complete certain items. However, I have better success scanning in and getting credit for receipts on the app. I’ve earned lots of gift cards over the years from MyPoints. It’s not that hard. I think MyPoints is much better than most other companies in this category. Their customer service could be much better though..Version: 1.6

✓ ScammersThey use your personal information and read your phone operations in the background, I do not recommend it to anyone, to delete your account you need to contact the support service (which does not work), that is, the account cannot be deleted, in addition, they do not award points for completing tasks!! Scammers!! Initially, the task was to play the game for 3 days, then it changed to get a specific level and wait 7 days, now the level is the same, but the waiting time is 14 days!.Version: 2.6.1
✓ This review still in processI only downloaded this because it was a offer from Eureka ( a great survey app that pays instantly to your paypal) its a good app so far I just wish in order to get the Welcome bonus you can buy food to redeem it. Anyways I just redeemed my points for a $25 Mastercard my only issue is that it’s not instant. I like instant but atleast I got $25 coming my way anytime soon. It said it usually takes 2-3 business days (10 at the most) so we’ll see. Overall still a good app, reminds me of Ibotta..Version: 2.3
✓ Scam - Be AwareThis website/app is a total scam! I signed up a service through MyPoints, followed every direction, the website shows it’s tracked, I provided screenshots when I open the ticket, yet the only thing they’ve been doing is copying and pasting template responses that has nothing to do with the service I signed up. It’s ridiculous the customer service person doesn’t read a word in my communication. Let alone working with the service provider to figure out what’s wrong. There are many other more reputable rebate sites (never had an issue with those competitor sites!) do yourself a favor and avoid MyPoints at all cost..Version: 2.0
✓ It’s a scamEven if you somehow are able to complete a survey (good luck) your points mean diddly. I earned points from the various ways available and they won’t let me redeem my points. (Yes I’m well over the minimum requirements for withdrawal) I’ve used this app in the past with no problems, but now it’s just a piece of garbage that will waste YOUR time and only benefit THEM. Customer support is a joke. Oh, btw and now somehow I can’t do surveys anymore. It reset me back to Zero and says it costs 80 points to “unlock” more surveys. THE SURVEY DOESN'T EVEN WORK….. ✓ Account suddenly deactivatedNot sure what happened but I was using this app and was getting a fair amount of surveys and enjoying it much more than other online survey websites, when all of a sudden I went to log in again through the app and it told me my account was deactivated. I tried then logging in through the internet and it said that my account was under review and they would get back to me in 48 hours. It’s been almost a week and I haven’t heard back from anyone. I’m not sure what happened as I had about $5 worth of rewards to redeem, but it logged me out and seems to have deactivated my account before I could actually redeem it. If someone could contact me about this, I would definitely be willing to change my rating or review of this app..Version: 1.5
✓ Long time memberI have used MyPoints for several years. In the last year I have upped my game. I ran into a few bugs, but in the past few months it has been horrible! I can no longer take surveys and many of the receipts I submit are sent for review or rejected even though I have been careful to buy the correct item. I just made a special trip to the store for the one item I needed to complete a bingo board and it is up for review which takes 2-3 days and the game only lasts 2 days. I fear their days are numbered if the service doesn’t improve drastically. Blame it on the economy!.Version: 2.2.1
✓ Will no longer allow surveysI’ve been using this site for years. My information changed recently (husband retired, income decreased, etc) so I have been answering survey questions according to my current situation. Suddenly, on the page where there should be surveys, I get a message that says some of my responses are inconsistent with previous responses so they are restricting my access to surveys. So I sent them an email that some of my info actually HAS changed and they just keep sending back (3 times) an automated response that they are unable to reactivate Gold Surveys on my account. It also looks like they have deleted all my streak points for meeting my daily goal 24 days in a row up to that point this month. I’m very disappointed since I have been on this site for many years and have never answered surveys dishonestly..Version: 1.6

✓ Amount of points I didn’t receive!As others noticed, some surveys that are completed should be given the points promised but instead users only get 5! I have this problems too. Plus the receipts I scanned, items on them that should be counted weren’t count, if I asked for review, I never get back anything! My purchases also didn’t counted. Especially from best buy/Macy’s (big bucks!). I started Mypoints a decade + ago and over the years, they made it harder for customers to get points unless you buy what their sponsors offered! Surveys are too lengthy for pre qualification and then it just got dismissed with no points though that’s you first one for the day. Receipt scanned now is only 2 points instead of 3 before, if you have items qualified for points on one receipt, it limited to only 10 items but not all will be counted!! Overall they’ve became worsened with amount of points they owed users that are very concerning. I would not recommend this app anymore to anyone like I used to..Version: 2.4

✓ Haven’t received my Visa card yet.I love my points, but in May I turned in 15,000 points for $100 Visa card. I didn’t get to activate as my husband went to the hospital. I actually forgot about it for a while. Then the bills were coming and I remembered I had my $100 and it wouldn’t let me activate it. I have messaged them through Facebook and nothing. I’ve been trying to get my card for several months and nothing. Very disappointed. Just wish they would actually answer me and help me. If I don’t get it soon I’ll be canceling my account and telling everyone that I got to join MyPoints to deactivate them. ✓ Rating MyPointsMost of the time, I enjoy using this app. However, there are some aspects that I dislike. When I attempt to do a survey, I want credit for the attempt, whether I receive the five points or not. This isn’t always the case. Also, when doing the Bingo activity, I’ve printed coupons, but not received credit for it. Also, sometimes when I perform a Watch activity, I don’t receive credit. ✓ The worst!!The points for receipts NEVER works! It is so difficult to get through customer service. Even if it is an approved store and the full receipt is there, clear and in focus, you get not enough store information. I agree with the surveys. You can fully complete a survey (verification at the end) and then inly get 5 points because you did not qualify. Sometimes you get no points. This is a waste of time, not worth one star Update: you will spend ten plus minutes on a survey only for it to crash or kick you off and you get no points. ✓ These people THE BIGGEST FWRRIS WHEEL OF LIES AND RUN AROUND!!I left an earlier review they responded like they cared and wanted a “ticket number”. I have been going through a circus of bots, redirects to their FAQ page, resubmitting my information, they DO NOT FIX THE PROBLEM round and round, verify your phone number, use their AI software to verify your ID, verify your PayPal account this crap has been going on for MONTHS. It is fraudulent, misrepresenting what and how they pay, who they are you go down a rabbit hole for discovery points that never appear, regardless of what you send them as proof, you are in a useless chat bot World, they do not pay I could probably send them DNA, arrive in person at their headquarters’s with the IRS and FBI in tow and ready to verify me. They would send a bot out to ask what the freaking ticket number is! Keep in mind there is no ticket number and when a bot can’t handle your concern they tell you it will take up to 30 days for a response, I am going on four months for a resolution. ✓ App never workedI created an account for MyPoints but I was never able to log in. I tried multiple times and never had success. I then requested a new password but never received an email to reset my password. I submitted a support ticket for help accessing my account and I was told I “my account would remain close after non-compliance for unauthorized activity.” If I was never able to actually log in and use my account, how could I be non-compliant? ✓ Cannot shop through the appI use MyPoints to get points for shopping. I’ve been using the full website for over 15 years and loved it. This mobile app is... useless. When you click through to a store and try to shop, the checkout buttons are impossible to get to, or are hidden altogether. Some work, some don’t. Mostly... they don’t. Just this week I went to a certain shopping site (after clicking through the mypoints app first) but all the checkout buttons were hidden so I had to refresh and load the non-mobile version of the website and it must have kicked me off Mypoints. Missed out on 1000 points. Basically, most shopping websites become impossible to navigate once you click though MyPoints..Version: 1.5
✓ Where are the videos?Why does the website show that videos can be played in this when they can’t? Complete false advertisement. Why did you stop supporting Daily Scoop if you were not going to replace it with something in the main app? This is the ONLY reason I downloaded this app to begin with. I avoided downloading it before because of all of the horrible reviews and given that the only things available on the app are shop and pointless surveys, I see why. ✓ Magic receiptsI have belonged to my points for many years now. Last year I downloaded the app to my phone and everything was fine. It was so easy to use the magic receipts for in store shopping. A month or two ago they did an update and magic receipts are no longer easy to use. Tonight I can’t even submit my grocery receipt which would have five items on it. I have been able to upload my receipts since the update (with difficulty) , but now it won’t let me do that. I’ve closed and restarted the app and even turned off my phone. Usually when you want to submit a receipt, you first select the store. Then the products you bought. And then upload the receipt. Now when I click on submit receipt, nothing happens. If they would correct this and better yet make it as easy as it used to be, then I would give it five stars because the program itself is very good..Version: 1.7.1
✓ Mixed BagSo, my actual rating is 2.5 stars. I have not experienced any issues with the actual app, however, my rating is influenced by MyPoints as an operating business as well. I have issue with trying to get my daily goal and completing surveys that say they are 7-12 minutes to complete and in reality, they consist of a 7-minute qualification survey then the actual survey takes at least 15-minutes. I would say only 25% of the times are close to being accurate, the rest are way off. And, the discover deals...some will say "you must indicate 'yes' to get points," but yes to what? And why can't the Perk points always be posted and posted correctly. Too often they are wrong or not posted on time. Inconsistency is very off putting!.Version: 2.6.1

There are many surveys that I complete more than half of them and then I think I have moved in to the next question only to find out I didn’t qualified to complete the survey. So I spent roughly 10 mins going through questions only to get 5 points. Then they tell you to compete a watch activity but they are currently unavailable all the time. ✓ They will deactivate your account when they owe youI used to like this app. I bought the items they promoted and then submitted the receipts for cash back. It works well for the first couple times. And then recently when I reached the amount for payout, they deactivated my account saying I violate their standards. They didn’t tell me what standards but instead tell me my account will not be reactivated. So disappointed, I didn’t violate any standards. I just follow their buying guides and then submit for rebate only. My account is just reaching the threshold for payout, and there is no way to take my money back. Be aware of it..Version: 2.1.1
✓ WORST APP EVERI’ve used this app for a few years, despite how clunky it is. After I cash in the few points I have left, I’m deleting it. Half of the time it doesn’t work (tap on a feature & the little icon just spins & spins). Then, if you need customer support, you have to use their menu that only lets you ask for help on an activity you’ve completed. General assistance with app problems-forget it! If you don’t have a “ticket number” they bounce your message back to you telling you to go back & use their special menu to get a ticket. Nowhere can I find a way to report that the app isn’t working. I use other apps for shopping rewards, and their level of customer service is really good. Not this one. ✓ Missing Activity / Missing PointsI just signed up this month & everything was going okay until I clicked through to a Promo that had high points offered and completed the ask of signing up for a $15 recurring monthly donation. I received immediate confirmation from the organization showing my payment with a confirmation number. I took a screen shot of it in case the email they sent somehow got lost in my junk folder. A few days later I noticed that the entire activity did not even show up in my Ledger at all, much less were the 8,000 points pending for it. I submitted my issue using the App, but it wouldn’t allow me to upload the photo I took as proof / confirmation I completed the activity. I am currently waiting to hear back & will update my review once the matter has been addressed & my account is properly credited..Version: 1.6
✓ Long time waitingI have been waiting a long time for MyPoints to get an app. So excited. I’ve been a member since 2000. I’ve never had issues with the web site hoping not to have them with the app. So far I encountered one glitch during a survey I clicked to actually read the privacy terms and was not able to return to the survey after reading them to agree. So that was a waist of time. The site itself is legit and does give you gift cards. Most are e-cards only now but for 19 years I haven’t not received what I redeem. Update to my thoughts... They’ve made a lot of changes to MyPoints in general that are NOT good. Not allowed to use coupons on sites or gift cards. That is not cool. ✓ Too much work & too many glitchesHas a lot of potential but not worth the time or wotk right now. This is my second time trying this app & will be removing it. A lot of work for 2-3 points. Surveys never gives you the total points. I’ve tried several at 1,000, 300’s etc… and the most I’ve gotten after what I think is too long of a survey is maybe 30 points. ✓ They closed my account with no proofI though this was a great app at first. I’ve had it for about 2 weeks. I uploaded a receipt and got almost $5 (in points) on the account. Watched several videos and almost had enough to cash out PayPal after a short period of time. I tried to log back in and it said my account had been disabled. I emailed support and they gave me no answers as to why my account was closed beside “it looks like you violated our terms and conditions”. I asked for specifics and they said the same exact thing and said the final decision was to keep my account closed and deactivated! ✓ App getting worseThe app is getting worse. I got a response to my first review to contact developer. I tried nothing works. I received an exclusive email offer for 1600 points upon completion of 10 surveys. Did not get the 1600 points. When I first joined, they said join and get a $10 reward did not get the $10 reward. I just listed the first and last problem. There are many more in between. You have been warned. I believe they have an AI program that responds to your requests. The AI program just gives the amount of points on your ledger page. so if you request more points, even if you have proof, nothing will be done..Version: 2.6.1
✓ Around and Around and AroundThe whole My Points things is great, as long as it works and you don’t need any type of customer service. I have been trying to contact an actual HUMAN for over a month now. My issue is with the surveys and the fact they have blocked me from completing surveys (inconsistent responses and “under review”, although the “review” seems to be taking months). I tried writing an email and explaining my husband took a survey so the answer went from female to male. All other answers were truthful. But, they want me to send a picture of my passport or license. I don’t just send pictures of my ID online. My bank doesn’t even ask for that. If they want to put in security questions like the bank (mother’s maiden name etc…) I’d be open to that. There are many other similar sites that have timely customer service, Rakuten being one of them. I hear from them within days when I have an issue. I will be sticking with them..Version: 2.6.1
✓ Waste of timeDownloaded the app hoping it would be a better interface than the website, unfortunately it is just as bad as the website and maybe even worse. I signed up and received the offer to spend $20 and get 1,750 bonus points. First purchase made through the website only credited me for one item I purchased and not for the full amount I spent at the merchant. Second purchase credited me for the full amount, but still have not received my bonus points. It is really frustrating that this business has no way of seeing exactly what you have earned when it comes to the bonus points. Not to mention having to wait at least 30 days for the points to be credited and months for some purchase points to be available. It seems as if surveys are an easier way to earn points if you can qualify for the survey. But, personally I would rather not sell my personal info/opinion for fractions of a cent..Version: 1.1
✓ Good but glitchyIve been doing the surveys for a while today but it wont let me verify my account. It just takes me to a sign up thing to get 10$ in which doesn't work anyways. Also surveys are starting to disappear when I go onto the app so I cant fake any or if I do get to a survey itll say “either you already took this survey or there was an error” is there any possible reason for this?
