Not worth the troubleI just downloaded this last week. I came home today from grocery shopping to upload my receipts. I scanned 3 receipts but kept getting a message stating “uh-oh looks like this receipt has already been submitted”… except it hadn’t. I rescanned my Walmart receipt and it finally took but had to request a review on the items I did buy. It still wouldn’t take for Meijer or Aldi receipts for different items. It says to contact support but that’s a joke. I go to the contact us ask a question section and list everything out but once you click the purchase date/receipt upload date they basically tell you to wait a week and before asking and sends you back. I tried submitting a request and where it asks “do you have a previous ticket number?” I put no but you have to have a ticket number to proceed. That’s all the customer support options I could find. Needs better support and just needs to work properly. I’m just going to delete this since I only have $0.02 and getting help seems more trouble than my times worth..Version: 3.9

Warning Hallmark NO cash backI recently put this app back on after a hiatus and once again I’m furious! It’s all good for pocket change from grocery receipts but I am a Hallmark Gold Ctown member with coupons galore yet I didn’t use one coupon and purchased $50 just to get the points to cash out. BUT, app fails when submitting receipt (always have screen shots) then it’s not in my gallery even though it was there earlier! Customer Service that’s laughable just emails saying submit receipt again - oh offer not there I can’t help you! The reason I took this app of was something to do with Swagbucks and My Points. Swagbucks didn’t hold up to their offers and I’m afraid this is the same. I’m a big big couponer and cash backer, I could and do teach classes. This app def thumbs down ☠️ Because it’s a huge waste of my time when other apps are out there that I never have issues with!.Version: 2.4

THIS APP IS A SCAM!!!I downloaded this app after seeing a bunch of videos on the internet about how people are using coupons to save money at target. I decided to try it out myself, so I did. I went to target and followed the coupon deal they had that week and scanned my recipe after checkout to get cash back from Tada. However, once I scanned my receipt, the app asked me to link my target circle account so I did. After linking my account it provided me with cash back on all my recent purchases. I thought what a score! I got 38$ back in cash back. So I went to withdrawal the money through PayPal, after doing so I received a confirmation email and was told I’d receive the money in 2-3 days to my PayPal account. The next day I went to the app and tried to log back in to do some more deal hunting. To my surprise I was unable to log due to my account being “Deactivated”. So naturally I went to customer support knowing the issue was a mistake. Customer service replied a day later saying I had violated terms, which didn’t make any sense since I had only used the app once. I emailed back asking for clarification about the issue in an attempt to provide context on the mistake. They responded saying they were not going to give me any information and that my account was permanently closed and proceed to threaten me. Overall, Tada stole money from me and their customer service made ZERO attempt to resolve my issue. 0/10.Version: 3.7.1

Customer support is not supportiveIt’s great when it works but frequently doesn’t work. The magic receipt is very hit and miss. Even when I purchase the exact thing it says to buy. Recently I bought cat litter and cream of wheat on the same receipt. It recognizes the cat litter but could not find the cream wheat. The app will not record or accept more than one photo of my receipt even though it give me the option to take multiple photos, so that doesn’t work. When I email customer service they just sends me in circles telling me to upload the offer again even though the app won’t accept my submission. I’ve tried to contact customer support several times. Tried to upload it through the tada app also and it wouldn’t work either. Sometimes they fix the issue right away but others times just deny my offer for no reason..Version: 2.7

Phone issueI downloaded this app this week and I’m very disappointed at it. I can’t summit no receipt because that are asking me for my ID, when no other cash app does. They are saying that my cellphone number is prepaid. How are you going to tell me that when I’m the one paying my monthly bill to Cricket. Customer representative is no help at all, even when I’m tell the the truth. They are saying that their system is saying that my number is prepaid. I’m not sending them picture of my ID putting myself in risk of my identity being stolen. VERY DISAPPOINTED.Version: 3.0

Gets the magic receipts right about 30% of the timeThis app is so frustrating I do not recommend it. I use it for Swagbucks and only when I need to have a magic receipt to complete my swago board. The most common thing is that I purchase the exact item and upload the receipt and the item is not found and it goes under review for 14 days and I have to pester Swagbucks every day so I can complete my board. The item is clearly on the receipt I do not understand why this app is so horrible!.Version: 2.8

DisappointingThis app keeps deactivating me. It takes a long time to build up cash back and it seems like at least once a month I get a notice that I have been deactivated. And it is not easy to get the issue fixed. There is no way in the app to contact customer service. Now customer service has gotten back to me but they are requesting a copy of my government approved id and other personal information. Honestly for how long it took to just get $20 back it is not worth the trouble. I just deleted this app. So many more apps that work much easier.Version: 3.11

Don’t useThis app is horrible! I have been having issues with it since day 1. It never gives me the cash back for the produce. I have even submitted a claim and they said my bananas don’t qualify for the banana cash back. I was able to link my Walmart account but it never scans my receipts. It just says No recent receipts even though I do have recent receipts. I will not let me link my target account at all. I tried for a week straight. Constant problems getting my creditQuite frankly I don’t know what’s going on in the beginning when I had an issue in dispute I got it resolved in under 30 minutes now where I am missing Credit it is taking over a week and I still have had no response I have been given an email saying that the credit has been awarded to me but I have not gotten it yet and anything more than two cents credit my receipts are constantly rejected and I can’t get anyone to reply to any messages for help quite frankly I don’t know what’s going on I know websites are busy and it takes longer to get help but this is quite frankly ridiculous. Then some store locations that I have to use before when I go to collect my credit the screen goes blank and I can’t picture any of my receipts or even the items that I have bought there must be some serious technical issues but again I can’t get anyone to respond to me and when I do the only thing I am asked is to leave a positive review because the dog is such a great website while nothing is being done to solve the problem I really wish someone from the website would get in contact with me help me with my issues and fix the app so that way it will continue to work properly.Version: 3.2

Tried again found the link for in store redemption and this time a button to upload a receipt. Used it. Said I needed to verify by email first. Went to my email and there’s a button that reads upload your first receipt so I press it and it takes me back to the page where it tells me I need to verify my account and puts me in an endless loop of frustration..Version: 2.6.1

Broken System - Identity verification is fake or doesn’t workI used to like this app. I’ve used it for several months and didn’t have issues until the past couple of weeks. I’m also worried that my information as been stolen and sent out. I’ve done exactly what customer service has told me to do. Click the link to verify my identity. I’ve clicked the link and performed the verification multiple times. They keep saying that they never received it. Either their system is broken or they are lying. I’m super unhappy with them. All I have done with the app recently was use their magic receipts offers and redeem cash back for awards. Don’t use their online cash back either. Because that will also get you deactivated. Apparently, using their system is considered suspicious activity and at any point in time, your account might be deactivated with no reasoning. All the customer service response is the same. If you’re lucky, they will easily open your account after review the account. But if they ask for your identify verification, tough luck since their system is broken. The 3rd party forum that they use to verify your identity does not actually send your information to Tada customer service or so they claim. This is the situation I’m in right now. Ongoing issue unresolvedI’ve been using this app for months and one day was asked to verify my account, which I did, but now every time I try to upload a receipt, it says I need to verify my account. Phone numberI deleted this app because it never would let me into get points. It wanted to verify my phone number. And when I would enter my phone number it would tell me that my number was a prepaid number which I assure you it is very much not! So, I got tired of messing with it and just deleted the whole app. I think it could have been a good app, but it’s just not worth my time if I have to explain that my number isn’t a prepaid phone! Unreliable redemption and customer serviceDo not rely on the app to honor a redemption because it’s very hit or miss. My recent redemption issue is for a $9 offer for which I uploaded a very clear receipt. I did not receive credit for the item, but I received the few cents for the general receipt. I’ve attempted to contact customer service numerous times and I keep getting a form letter that my request was sent to the wrong place (there is no other place to send a request) and detailed instructions on how to upload a receipt. Then they close my case. I know how to upload a receipt. All I want is to talk to a person. Anyway, I may have to delete my account because the frustration is not worth it. Customer Support is UnhelpfulThis app seems like it would be a really good app. I use swag bucks and have no issues with it, I've used it for a while. But I just started using this app and have had nothing but problems so far. I was trying to submit receipts and kept getting the “Uh Oh” message, and the only people to contact are Customer Support. After submitting two requests, they finally answered me and said they couldn’t help because it was their department. So they provided me a bunch of unless information that didn’t at all help with the issue. From other reviews, I can see that this is a reoccurring issue, so logically you would think that they would have a department or support for this issue. They immediately shut down my account and tried to get me to provide my drivers license to reopen. Does not workThey say that it isn’t a valid retailer ever time I upload a receipt but Kroger is clearly listed as one of their valid retailers. I bought the item and followed the instructions, making sure it was correct-size if product and everything and they refuse to accept the receipt. Very disappointed. ScamI downloaded this app, as I was told it was a good app to have. Well after accumulating enough money on it to cash out, I tried several times to do so through my PayPal. Needless to say, it wouldn’t ever go through. Finally I decided to try again after getting close to $25. Yes $25 isn’t much, but I wanted to make sure there was no issues before accumulating a larger amount and something going wrong. Well it finally started to go through, said it was pending and 2 days later my account was deactivated!!! I reached out to customer service, and received an email saying they’d be back in touch with me between 15 to 30 days. After a few days I received an email saying I needed to prove it was actually me and proof of ID… Well it will be 2 months on the 9th of October and STILL NOTHING! Works Less Than 25% of the TimeMost of the time, submissions result in an “Uh Oh” screen, where they tell your image is unclear, no matter how clear the image or how many times you re-upload. Then, when you seek help from the linked “Help” page by creating a ticket, they send you an automated message telling you that you’ve sought help from the wrong page. They message tells you to click on the “Request a Review of My Receipt” option on the page never offered in attempting the upload, because the app didn’t recognize your offer as legible enough to complete the upload to begin with. At the close of the automated customer service message, they say: “This ticket will be closed and remain closed after this response.” In other words: “We didn’t help you, we’re not going to help you. Don’t try to contact us again, and we’re counting this matter as resolved to falsely boost our internal ticket/response success rate.” This week, I submitted five receipts for about $18, and got two approved for a little over $6, despite meeting the exact store/size/count specifications. I effectively lost $12 through this app plus travel, buying items I wouldn’t typically and traveling to store locations I wouldn’t have otherwise for a non-benefit..Version: 2.8

Easy to useHaven’t had the opportunity to cash out yet with this app due to not enough earned. It’s a couple pennies here and there but add up slowly, it’s a free app earning just a little on purchases you’ve made any penny pincher would love. It would be nice though is on a receipt if you’ve bought the same item multiple times you get multiple rewards for that item; which they don’t do. Other than that it’s an ok app in my book. Still unsureI’ve had this awhile. It’s been hit or miss with the entire process. It’s an easy concept until the receipt hits a “snag” and it has to be looked into. Customer service was about the same. Last year this app was downright awful. I bought the Gatorade, scan, receipt problem. Waited for a few and it wasn’t credited, so I circled the item on the receipt, took pics of the bottle & receipt together. Waiting again…. Loved The App BUT Recent Issues FrustratingPrior to about a month ago, I would have given this app 5 stars. You could submit a receipt and no problems. Now EVERY offer I encounter an issue. It seems like they stopped listing offers as say “buy 1 get $1, buy 2 get $3”, now they read buy a MINIMUM of 1 item get $3, but they credit you as the old way and only give you $1. Then you have to submit support tickets. I’ve always had success with their support; however, they really need to fix this as it’s misleading if they are crediting a lesser amount. Either go back to the offers reading buy 1 get a lesser amount, buy 2 get the bigger amount or credit the correct amount for a minimum of 1. Waste of time.Have tried this app 3 times now and never got a thing. App has no option to load receipts. Anytime I load thru the app I get 2 cents, no matter how much I bought. Conveniently this happened as I was waiting for a gift card redemption to process. Still haven’t heard from customer support. Not sure if this app is worth it!I’ve had TADA for a few months and thought it was decent. No issues. I was getting a little money back. I finally got enough to cash out for $50 Walmart gift card. I received the gift card 2 days later. I was at Walmart going to use my gift card and I had to log in to get my gift card, which then it states my account has been deactivated! I could NOT use my gift card. I have a ticket in. So I will update IF this matter is taken care of in a decent time frame and I don’t lose my gift card. Use Ibotta, don’t waste your time on this trashThis app is garbage and the customer service is practically nonexistent. Misleading offer amounts- you have to buy multiples to get what they show, and even if you buy multiples, they still only pay for a single, and that’s after making you wait weeks and reach out to the “help” desk 10 times because they can’t get their crap together or understand simple descriptions about their errors. Everything that they say should happen in 48 hours sits in “pending” until you open another help ticket and their response is always the same- blame the user and ask for information completely irrelevant to the situation, screw up more with their “resolution”, then pat themselves on the back because they think they’re doing a wonderful job. Do not use this app!!This app is a scam. They shut down my app and required me to submit my drivers license. I have never had to submit such personal information to any app. So I refused, and they eventually reactivated my account. Believe the Negative reviews-Horrible AppNot sure where all the positive reviews are coming from. I’ve used Ibotta, Fetch, Merryfield, Receiptpal and countless others without many if any issues. This app is a joke…any brand chips, any brand oranges….submitted app with chips and oranges on there and they were denied. Resubmitted to be verified and they were denied. No explanation why. Go to the apps I listed above and you’ll have less issues. I truly believe customer service just hits denied and doesn’t even look at what needs to be verified. Maybe they are in another country that’s never heard of Lays chips or Florida oranges..Version: 3.12

Locked out acct. When time to redeem cashAlways been logged in so when it was time to redeem rewards over $20 I was logged out mysteriously, couldn’t log back in with current password which was never changed, and couldn’t reset my password. This third party ID verification which isn’t Tada request identification upload. I kept getting error message that couldn’t verify identification everyone if uploaded my ID. It’s very suspicious that when it came time for me to redeem e gift card that I was automatically logged out of my account, couldn’t sign back in with the current password; not wasn’t able to reset password because no reset email was sent to me to reset and change my password. Only a third party email request identification by drivers license upload to a third party website was sent. And every single time this site didn’t accept my drivers license upload or I got a message stating that my identification couldn’t be verified. Watch they reply to this review with instructions to click a link or contact them to get this resolve; which is insulting to make you feel that your issue will get resolved. Y’all be careful because something’s going on. I was automatically ALWAYS logged in and when it reached over $20 and time for me to cash out—is when the system logged me and I couldn’t get back in with the current password and could not reset it. Waste of time. Frustrating. Do not bother.This app does not work as it should. 100% of my receipts have had problems. Walmart is supposed to credit automatically and while it will give you .02 to .05 cents for a couple items, and the app simply ignores the remaining of the offers. With Publix and other stores you have to submit a pic of the receipt and then you experience similar problems to Walmart. I have 3 receipts at this moment where Tada gave me .02 cents for 1 offer, and it ignored several other offers on each receipt. And no, you can’t submit the receipt for each individual item as it stops you from supposed duplication. The customer service is horrendous. Instead of referring to the receipt pics that you have already submitted, the help desk requires attachments & has never been satisfied with format. After multiple back and forth communications, I might receive credit but it takes extraordinary effort and organization to keep things straight as you enter more receipts. Right at this moment I have 4 receipts all improperly handled by the app, awaiting responses. I guarantee they won’t be handled in one try. When I hit the redemption point, I will Most likely be deleting the app and spend my time on apps that work..Version: 3.12

Disgusting AppI have had the APP for about a week. I have been scanning my receipts and have my accounts attached. I was up to $43 and went to log in after the approved a transaction only to have it say that my account was deactivated. Of course there is no way to call or chat with anyone except to email. I then receive any email saying my account was described for not following the terms of use. I was not told how I broke the terms of use and was not given the money I had earned. I had in no way done anything dishonest. I only submitted the receipts for things myself or my wife bought. It’s like they saw I was earning money quickly and decided to deactivate my account to keep from paying. DONT USE IF YOU WANT TO BE REIMBURSED FOR THE MONEY YOU EARNED!!!.Version: 3.0

Don’t waste your timeIf I could give this app 0 stars I would. My first cash back purchase was an online purchase that they never acknowledged even though I went through their website/app. I then went to scan my first receipt and was told I needed to verify my number. For weeks it was saying I did not have a valid number. Finally overcame that obstacle and was able to submit my first receipt, so I thought. I was told there was an error, followed the directions make sure it’s clear and from the store blah blah blah… retried several times still got an error. I never leave reviews but this one had to be done so hopefully who reads this does not waste their time..Version: 3.5

Scam AlertThis is the biggest scam app I’ve ever seen. My account was deactivated after loading one receipt. I emailed customer service and it was reactivated after a few days due to error. All of a sudden my phone is getting BLASTED with scam calls about Medicare. Like 10 calls a day. This only happened as soon as account was reactivated. Then when I tried to cash out the money I had received from 1 receipt- they deactivated my account AGAIN saying in order to receive my money they needed a copy of my DRIVERS LICENSE. Ummm what!!! Tada replied that they wouldn’t give me the money I earned until they got a copy of my government issued ID. Neeeeeevvvveeerrrr!!!!!!!!! Please don’t use this app and keep your phone line and identity safe..Version: 3.11
