✓ Excellent Movie Database!!My Movies is a fantastic way to keep track of all your films on disc or downloaded from an online account. It’s easy to add new titles by either scanning the barcode or searching for a title. You can also mark titles as loaned out so you don’t forget who has borrowed that dvd when you’re looking for it. ✓ Well used App, though bad Rating feature!A well used everyday app for me as I am a Movie Guy! Now as for the Rating feature, before you could only rate the ‘Movie’ title, but now you can rate the ‘Disc Title’ too which is very good, however I have had continuous problems with this feature and I have contacted the app team for help & support although I haven’t received any help... & all this goes towards the fact that when rating a movie, it rates the movie but when clicking on the movie the rating that you see next to the title is the disc title rating which comes first-above the movie rating when clicking on rating! (This is where you get to see both your ratings for each movie title). Though it is wrong & they should be the other way around❗️This is why I do not get to use this newly missed feature😣 I can’t rate my disc title first because this will be the rating shown for each title I click on! Although a lot of help has been added with an update of being able to add more letters/digits when typing out a sentence under a ‘watched’ title. Now I have up to 3-4 lines of writing! Whereas previously it was less than just a line!.Version: 3.27

Just scan to add most of mine are own for keeps but I like that you could us it to keep track of movies to lend out or on your wish list. ✓ I’ve been using the app for 10 yearsI’ve been using it for ten years to keep track and organize all of my movies. My collection is large, so it’s a great app for making sure my films are in alphabetical order. Sometimes I lend movies to friends and family members, and with this app I can mark a movie as “out” and attach the name of the individual I lent it out to, so that I can keep track. Sometimes I even forget which movies I own (which is a luxury, I know), and instead of digging through my blu-rays, I can simply grab my phone, open the My Movies app, and type in a search for a movie by title. I’ve purchased the My Movies app on four different devices (iPhone, Samsung, MacBook, and Kindle Fire) and I still use it on all of them to access my library across all of them..Version: 3.21

✓ Extraordinary appI don’t often write reviews. But, the functionality of this app, combined with the exceptional customer service finally prompted me to write this one. I have a modest collection of movies - about 2,000. Most of them are physical copies, but I am also developing a sizable digital only collection. This app made it exceptionally easy to add all my movies into it. And, now that I’ve been working with it for about 6 months, I’ve come to rely on it. I know that my one wish is ridiculous, but I use this app so frequently (I love to collect and watch movies) that I use it almost daily to decide what I’m going to watch. I wish I could just select it and have it play instantly on my big-screen (for those that I own digitally). LOL! Yes, I know. I’m way lazy. ✓ Updated Review. Indispensable!The app itself has great features. There is plenty of information about each film. My only problem is with the multi-scan feature. Every time I scan multiple movies they disappear when I go back to scan more. So I’m scanning each movie individually which is time consuming up front. Once movies are scanned in it won’t be hard to add additional films as you go. This may be something I just need to figure out but I won’t upgrade to the Pro version unless I can find out how to get the multi-scan feature to work. Update: After using the app for a year, I find it is indispensable in keeping track of my collection. After extensive use I’ve found that my scanning issues were due to a learning curve and even adding titles I’ve purchased digitally are easy to add. UPDATE #2: This developers of this app continue to provide quality updates. I’ve discovered many filters and other days options since I last reviewed the app..Version: 3.26

✓ Really good catalogue for your movie collectionI really do like this app and like the look of it too. I just wish it would also include cover for other media in my greater AV collection. The app works well across platforms with the pc (Windows) version but they offer different experiences. As a catalogue, the app is way better to use than the pc version .... and the barcode scanner is a dream to use .... but I think you need both to get full functionality. If you do have/use both versions, they sync well so you can have benefit of both but with associated inconvenience. It is possible I have not yet fully mastered the app as yet, but it would be good if the poster/background artwork options available on pc were also available in the app. I also like the way it syncs with my iPhone so I have easy access to my catalogue when I’m browsing on the high street.... I have had a few embarrassing “senior” moments in the past resulting in the occasional 2nd copy of something 😳 My only gripe is that, whilst focussed on a movie collection, it would be good if it included provision to catalogue other media such as CDs. I was actually looking for a means to catalogue my entire AV collection in one place and I am still looking for an equivalent of My Movies for my CDs. ✓ Good app but...I do love the app hence the 4 stars but paying £9.99 for the app and being asked to pay again for a newer, updated version which, from what I’ve seen is only a slight improvement from its predecessor, is slightly unfair in my opinion. On top of that, all previous versions are no longer supported so if it stops working or bugs out, the devs won’t fix it. This is an app we’ve paid for and should benefit from ongoing support. Tried the free version but was sold on paying to support this developer as they got it right. Scanning is easy as and does what I want; just give me a way to quickly scan physical disk to catalogue so when I am out and about I don’t end buying something I already own. I am one of those people though who collect vhs, not just to take up space on my shelves but to watch them. Is there, and if not can there be, a section where you can categorise your movies as vhs as majority of my movies are not DVD, blu-ray or 4K? I see that when you go to add a title the first window you can put vhs as the type, then when I move on to the next section the type automatically changes back to DVD and I am unable to tell if it is a vhs or not. I have been putting in the notes section that it is a vhs but if there was a more visual way of telling besides that it would just boost this app to the next level. How the app is at the moment though it is absolutely amazing and has made my life all that much better as it has helped my organising all that much more. Thank you so much for this.Version: 3.25

✓ Almost PerfectLoving this app, as it was a breeze to scan through my DVD collection using the barcode scanner, and adding my digital copies of things was straightforward too. It looks great on screen, and the different filters and viewing options allow you interesting ways of looking at your collection. A couple of things: I would love an easy way to make albums or folders, a simple way of grouping titles together. I know there is the “category” option in the metadata, but selecting is a bit cumbersome, and inputting that information takes quite a few taps. It would be great if there was a sidebar with the ability to make folders, and you could drag and drop onto them. Apart from that though, I’ve really appreciated this app for organising (and discovering!) my collection over the summer..Version: 3.22

With this easy to use app I’m able to verify that I do/don’t already have a particular movie in my collection. Also when I lend a movie out I can keep up with who has what! If this app had a function to allow users to make a one page pdf with a thumbnail of the movie and a description next to it in list format, this would be a perfect app. The ability to make top 10 lists that I could then save and share, would be incredible. ✓ Must have movie collection app for collectorsA really amazing app that gets information from IMDb allows you to use your phones camera to scan Collection. It makes the whole experience of putting your entire collection into a database simple easy and fast. Also there is support where you can report titles that are not known in the database for them to be added at a later point. Once your collection is in the library you can filter them by genre actor etc. I would say that this is the best app that I have used and I have used many before of which they have not been nowhere near as good as this one 5stars 👍🏻.Version: 3.20

✓ ConfusedA good app but my question is. I installed the free 50 movie limit version Mymovie 3 and paid the in app £9.99 upgrade. I notice in the app store there is a pro version for the same price. Are these identical apps. If I tap on the pro version it asks me to pay again. I cant cancel the current version for a refund (even only installed for 1 hour) so I can purchase the Pro if it has more features for the same price. It is confusing. Update to my review, I have since learned the Pro version is basically the same with family sharing which I don't need. I find there are so many options to play around with, but it’s great to have them all. The developers do a great job of taking feedback from the community to update the app. The ability to scan barcodes (even in batches) makes it really easy to add titles to your collection. There tons of information on the movie titles. And, if you see something you know is missing, you can provide the info for the database to be updated. It’s a great app for any movie collector (or if you just want to keep track of movies you have seen). A new version comes out every couple of years or so and I’ve upgraded each time (and will continue to do so)..Version: 3.17

Also great communication and customer service if you need to contact. Only feature I’d add that would be an improvement is the option to randomly pick a movie if you’re trying to figure out what to watch.
