✓ Great way to browse my moviesIf you have a large collection of movies and don’t like trying to pick one out by shuffling through the discs, this app is for you. ✓ Ok app needs improvementThis app is pretty good but there are multiple interface niggles .. 1) interface is confusing! 2) filters are hidden too deep in the interface, it’s a basic need to search with different criteria. This should be a Home Screen feature. 3) Sort category divider titles too small 4) Missing cover arts display as unreadable small text 5) Not easy to create a watch-next list 6) Favourites don’t sink between devices 7) Deleting search’s when you want to try a new search returns you to the Home Screen 8) collection display preferences are oddly at the top of the collections screen and not in settings It’s not all bad, but could be great, lots to recommend too!.Avid listneroonyVersion: 3.25

✓ Rip OffThe basic logistics of this app are fine and work well with my collection. However, every time they decide to make a new version of this apps no make the previous one obsolete, you will be charged yet again for the “unlimited” service they provide. I just upgraded my phone which means the previous version I was using is no longer valid but I can get the next step in the app for a 50% discount... even though this has already happened twice before. ✓ Exact same app, charge againThe dev claims to not charge a subscription to use the app, but this is not really true. While the dev isn’t suggesting you pay every month, instead just pay again for a bump in the version number... Bought v2 (PRO) of the app a while back and got a notification from the Dev informing me that due to a bug in iOS 13.1 v2 will not work as it did, thus being forced to pay for the app (£4.99) again, which is equivalent to a subscription. ✓ No adult titlesThis is a great app. I’ve used basically every other system, and besides dvdprofiler (which doesn’t have a desktop version for Mac, which was my dealbreaker), this runs the best. Very easy to use, good layout and nice online collection view. However, and this may sound silly to some, but you cannot add adult titles to the database with their Mac software, be it ios or os. They told me on their forum that Apple does not allow for adult content to be used. However, basically all other apps do this. I was told to get the windows version (which would require me to get a new computer). So I basically paid money for something that I cannot fully use. That aside, and I’m sure that won’t be a problem for some, this is a very good sorting app. If it were free, I would rate it 5 stars, because I could have walked away with no commitment. However, after buying both the iPhone and desktop software, and not seeing anything about not being able to catalogue adult titles, I can’t give it the full rating that it should deserve..GeoffreypaulVersion: 3.22

Do not purchase thisJust downloaded this app and started adding some movies and thought it was such a wonderful app but one of my DVDs is Areo-Troopers and there is no picture for the cover so I went to IMDb and took the picture and cannot add it and it’s impossible to add import the picture to the cover of the logo! so it’s a complete waste of money if some movies don’t have the picture of the film and you cannot add. ✓ Great app ruined by a buyoutI am a My Movies 2 user and bought the app from the original developer to catalog and archive all my movies that are in boxed storage. Once the new developers bought this app they have essentially voided my pervious purchase with constant pop ups that they may not support version 2 in the future. And now, when I open the app my collection is blank until it populates from a server. I bought version 2 to keep a database of my movies on my phone. I don’t need new features or to have my collection uploaded to a cloud to be deleted if I don’t an update I don’t want. This is a good app with a garbage business model. ✓ Unhappy to pay again...I’m sorry this is just wrong. You’ve made the older paid pro version no longer work. Forcing me to either pay $5 more now knowing it will happen again in a few years or having to start all over with another database. I’ll be finding a new database or will just program one of my own. ✓ Poor Customer ServiceI downloaded the app, attempted to register a username, however every name I tried came up saying ‘username already exists’. After about a dozen attempts and getting no further than the register form, I cancelled it with the aim of returning later. I received an email telling me I’d registered and to help get me started. I replied stating I do not have a username yet as I cancelled the form. When I was told of one of my rejected attempts being successful, I informed Brian at Support that there was a problem registering and the form had not told me this name was accepted. He informed me I was lying and that everything was fine. So if there is a fault they will flat out deny it and not improve issues you report..LERUGVersion: 3.21

✓ This app is goodThe only thing I do not like is when I update my phone to a different phone, after paying for this app, it makes me pay again. I’ve paid for this app three times. I like it for the convenience of it keeping my movies in alphabetical order and helps me keep track of what I have, compared to writing them down in a notebook. ✓ Premeditate rip-off!This app is a scam, I already had to purchase it twice: once for iPad and another time for iPhone (the very same app) and now I had to purchase it a third time... it's the very same up and they candidly admitted on their website to have performed this move so that they could make more money and they could "legally" go around the fact that the App Store does not allow them to charge for updates. This is extortion and the app is exactly the same as the previous one, it does nothing major new, they just change the background colour. In my view it is not a new app, it is just an update. Obviously they took the time to let us all know that the previous app will no longer receive updates and/or support, in fact forcing you to re-purchase. I have stopped repurchasing this app and it’s now glitchy and it barely works. Would you pay a fiver to just have a different background? This is a rip off. I honestly advise to avoid this app, there are plenty of alternatives out there which will not charge time over time for the very same thing. I feel really ripped off. A while ago I wrote a review of this app and I had noticed that there were quite a few negative reviews, all relating to the very same issue. One day I opened the Apple Store and I accidentally noticed that this app had ONLY 6 excellent reviews. Mine was gone. Why? Why an app with an average rating of only two stars with at least 20 reviews, all of a sudden has five stars with only 6 very questionable reviews and no changes whatsoever to the app? My review was deleted 23 TIMES this way (I will keep changing the number as it will be deleted again), as have the other several honest negative reviews.
