✓ App isn’t ready for useSame as other reviews my app simply doesn’t work. No features, buttons, or options are responsive. All it says is for me to check my Internet connection. My wife has the same errors. Fun scooters just not ready for public use due to app. We somehow managed to use the scooters, but were left wondering if we are still being charged because we couldn’t end the ride. Please please fix the app! This could be a huge hit in the valley for everyone around - especially college students!.Version: 1.0.1
✓ Connected to Internet but can’t use the appThe app doesn’t process taps and requests properly. I’m connected to Internet, but the app doesn’t detect that. I use AT&T so I don’t know if that has anything to do with it or not. Some other people have been having issues with it as well..Version: 1.0.4
✓ Terrible. Do not use this appI rode for literally one minute, got to my destination and pressed "Lock & Charge" five times. It did nothing. I had an appointment I needed to get to so I figured after some lag it would charge me at some point - no. FORTY MINUTES later, the app was still going. I pressed "Lock & Charge" one more time and it FINALLY did it. I was charged $20. For a ONE MINUTE TRIP. Please do yourselves all a favor and never use this app..Version: 1.0.16

✓ App needs major work...The scooters are fun but unusable due to major bugs with app. I’m glad I only loaded $5 to start on the app just to try it out. Like others have said the app does not function properly and any error results in a “Check internet connection” message. The layout of the app is intuitive (although it contains a number of typos), the scooters are great, this would be a great service if it functioned as intended. GPS might also need some work. I went through 8 GPS locations on my map before finding a scooter (I checked surrounding locations thoroughly)- might not be a bad idea to add a function to the app that allows users to report inaccurate locations or inaccessible scooters (as in parked behind private fence, etc...) so that a maintenance team can address the issue. Looking forward to using it again once the developers iron out the bugs..Version: 1.0.1
✓ Don’t Waste Your Time or Money on this AppThis company is a fraud, I’ve tried contacting them on several occasions to sort out a situation and have gotten no response. As neither their email or phone number work at all. As I was charged $16 for a what was a ten minute ride. However the app did not lock the scooter and it ended up running up a bill of $16. Therefore I do not recommend to anyone that you use this company’s scooters.Version: 1.0.1

✓ This app and the scooters absolutely garbageThe user interface is god awful. The amount of times this app has crashed or failed to retrieve my account is astonishing. The scooters are also terrible quality, you can start on full battery and then be at one bar within a five minute ride, plus they’re insanely slow. Any other scooter brand is miles better than this one, but unfortunately this brand is the only one that my school allows to be parked on campus. Honestly just walk or drive, you will save more money and time..Version: 1.0.10

✓ Fix the appThe other day I got on the app to see if there was scooter nearby and it said there were two so I went out looking for them and they weren’t there! I was disappointed cause the app said I was right next to them. To too that off when I finally got one I unlocked it and tried to ride it, but when I got on it rode for a second and stopped because it was low battery. Why was I not warned before? The app should have something to warn us whether they have a good percentage of charge. FIX THE APP.Version: 1.0.1
✓ Horrible appI’m just trying to give y’all my money and hop on a scooter but the app needs plenty of work. It gave me a hard time just creating an account and after all that the app would just prompt “something went wrong”. Probably for the best because I found another scooter shortly after from your competitor and that went a lot smooth and faster. ✓ SCAM - EXPLAINED BELOW9 May 2023, Northridge, CA. I want to say that TukTuk did improve their app a couple months before this review, but as of the last couple weeks, the app has been broken again, and there’s some weird things that the scooters are doing now. Let me explain: - For no reason (and I’ve had this happen on multiple different scooters) the speed of the scooters DROP after riding them for only a minute, keep in mind, I used to ride these things at 16 miles per hour no problem. But now? It drops to 9 , even 8 miles per hour, thereby increasing your ride time by double. I might as well be running since it’s so slow. And again, it’s not a broken scooter, since this happens on multiple DIFFERENT scooters I’ve tried. - I topped up my account with $10 for rides, and according to the app, both two rides came out to around $3 in the day I did them. Next day I go to unlock, says I need to deposit another 10. What? There should be another 4 for one more ride! In any case, I top it up again another 10, two rides later, it says I need to deposit more. This makes no sense, either the app is broken and not counting money accurately, or maybe they should allow you to top it up to $5 instead of 10. Or maybe just charge cards accurately, as according to what they actually owe! In conclusion, the scooters are slower, the money is being counted terribly, and the app is still kinda buggy. You’re better off investing in your own electric scooter, which is what I’m going to do now. Never again..Version: 2.0.8
