✓ Best Identify Theft Protection, Except…Considering this app is free, it completely takes the effort out of protecting my identity without having to pay for protection. The only thing I wish was possible is if the app would allow you to back up your data to iCloud if Advanced Data Protection was detected to be on, and maybe the ability to one-time purchase the remaining identity theft insurance coverage. (Not everyone has 40 friends to foot the bill, and not many friends will believe this is legit. So, what can you do to fix that? It’s quite simple, really. In a world where corporations are selling and tracking personal data we all need protection. The ability to remove old social media posts in a world of “ cancel culture” is another level of protection and becoming a necessity. In addition preventing all of the major players like Google, Facebook, Messenger and Instagram from tracking you secretly and sharing your data with advertisers and other forms of data mining is an added feature that is awesome! ✓ I like the app, but…It’s really a shame that features that used to be free are now paid. I have been using Jumbo for a while with little problems, and have always liked that it was able to easily clear my history from various services. I understand that people need to make money, but I don’t like that I now have to either pay for services that were once free, or (presumably) give up those services. Edited - Jumbo pushed a message out today stating that customers who were already using their services will have free access to Jumbo Plus (which includes some of the features that were previously free). ✓ Digital Footsteps in the right direction!Im very big on digital privacy and security. So I use end-to-end encrypted messengers, VPN services on all my devices, password managers, and encrypted email services. Im more than happy to have found this amazing app, and with the upmost respect, It is valuable. ✓ Very TrustableI’ve never been a big fan of ad’s, but the Jumbo ad’s were different. I’ll admit, I was skeptical about it at first, but as the ad’s kept popping up, I decided to go and read some of the reviews/thoughts about the app in the App Store, and it was then I realized that the app was helping to protect a lot of people. I’ll admit, when looking at the reviews, I would see one that says the app is horrible every now and then just like every other app/game out there, but around 95% of the reviews were about as positive as they come. In a world where companies are making it seemingly harder for users to know what privacy settings they have set and what information is being shared this app makes things really straight forward to protect yourself . I checked multiple emails, whereas 2 had no problems and 1 had 12 problems. The problems were old and are against the point. My point is I trust this app even without the upgraded plan. Unlike Lifelock and other apps, Jumbo keeps your privacy and data protected and safe. Here’s a quick story, I had my personal data stolen in 2019 which led to losing thousands of dollars from a scammer. My data had been leaked online from the Sony leak which is how the scammers got my personal data. A friend of mine who is in the cyber-security world told me about the Jumbo app and how it can help monitor and lock down your privacy and data security. I went into the appstore and downloaded Jumbo and instantly felt better. I scanned my email address for leaks and sure enough found the source of the lost data. After that, it was easy to know which accounts needed to have updated passwords. Jumbo even allows me to enable 2FA on my accounts, archive social media posts, it alerts me when my OS needs to be updated on my device and generally keeps me protected. I’ve tried a lot of solutions out there since my hack in 2019 and nothing is better - Jumbo is #1 and I love it. Also, when I had an issue, I messaged Jumbo’s support team and they answered that same day and fixed my issue immediately. It’s so rare to talk to genuine and real people these days for support. ✓ Reliable early warning system for data breechesI’ve used Jumbo for a few years now and find it comforting to know it’s checking for sensitive data exposure. At the start, Jumbo found handful of passwords that had been compromised. That set my hair on fire, but I was able to delete or change sign-ins before any damage was done. ✓ Some kind of problem has arisen — but Jumbo isn’t at faultPreviously, when using Jumbo to scan Facebook today, I got locked out of my FB account - FB keeps asking me for my phone number ... which I had never given them. And FB keeps saying it doesn’t recognize the browser I’m using. I was locked out of my FB account. Basically, the problem is that FB will lock you out if you choose to use a VPN and you don’t want to give them your phone number. This isn’t Jumbo’s fault. They responded quickly to my inquiries and steered me to a help page, which meant I got back on FB just in time to notice a family member had died, far out of state. I commend Jumbo for helping me and I wish I could continue using their excellent app, but I can’t do without Facebook right now. All that said,I wish Atelier all the best. After using Jumbo for just two days, apps went back to displaying as they should (the background of my notes had changed at some point; using Jumbo fixed that). I turn it on and the VPN connects. After that, my internet runs like molasses, my Swann and Wyze cctv apps won’t open videos, etc… I always end up turning off the blocker and removing the VPN. I try it after every update hoping it would be fixed but it always turns out the same way. I run IPVanish VPN when I’m traveling and their VPN doesn’t slow my phone down, so I know it isn’t a natural characteristic of VPNs to run THAT slow. ✓ Didn’t know I needed this App like human needs waterWith todays day and age with technology every one’s for sale meaning the data the phishing and advertising the analytics all make up a profile.. ✓ Seems to work. Easy UI. Frequent vpn perf issuesI like the app a lot. Consolidating the cleanup for apps is nice. The blocker tracking is very helpful. Causes some confusion in 2FA with which Authenticator is in charge of an app. But workable. The biggest complaint I have is frequent vpn performance issues. Sometimes response times for simple stuff eg email is incredibly slow sometimes no response. I’ve been waiting for email to finish checking mail for 10 minutes on an iPad. I shutoff the vpn on my iPhone 7 and it comes back immediately so there appears to be choke point in your vpn architecture. ✓ Glitchy in need of fixingDownloaded and purchased Pro plan for family but when family members went to log in, they were also asked for payment. Contacted customer support via the app & the team was really very responsive. Managed a work around to fix the original problem, but a few days later when the free trial ended the payment wasn’t able to be processed as (according to the Bank) the company details didn’t match the purchase authorisation, so the purchase was declined by my bank. If it could remove my “likes” and “comments” from other people’s posts that would be an ideal.
