Intermountain Health UT/ID for Positive User Reviews

ExcellentI am grateful for Dr Beckstead’s expertise & professionalism. He listens, he is thoughtful, he is very knowledgeable, he is thorough, he is attentive. He educates himself & is open to new understand & research, he is very familiar with others expertise in the medical community. He is honest & he does what he says he will do. On top of all that, he helped save my life by acting timely and effectively. The others on his team are also amazing. I went in, he recommended an x-ray. It was late in the day, but the x-ray was taken within 15 minutes, read by the radiologist, posted to my MyHealth medical record, and Dr. Beckstead sent me an email - all within about 1 1/2 hours of the time the doc recommended the image! Truly Amazing! Thank-you Dr. Beckstead & your Intermountian team!!.Version: 5.15.3

Self servingI have to say I’m impressed with how easy it was to get myself tested by using this “self serve” method. Everything from the step by step instructions to the final submission went very smoothly and seemed to have the patient’s convenience in mind. The only negative feedback I have is that this may prove to be a little difficult or possibly even impossible to do for an elderly person who can’t navigate a computer very well. I did have to go to the App Store and install a QR scanner as manually entering the website address sent me to a dead end page. Other than that, it was an easy, convenient and fast way to get results..Version: 5.17.0

It is what it isI really love this app, it does need some TLC though. Trying to schedule an appointment on it can be a bit of a joke. There are only two options for types of appointments with my ob-gyn, and neither one is just a follow up appointment. Follow up should be an option for nearly, (if not all) the providers in your system on the scheduling portion hands down. It was really odd scheduling a “prenatal” visit when I’m 23 weeks along and this next visit will be my 4th for this baby…… just saying. The notes/ records section is a bit confusing, really feels like there may need to be some type of FAQ tab or little explanation italic I’s bubbles or something. I don’t know how the crud to get rid of a provider I no longer see on the main page. Kinda seems like that should be an option Other than that, I’m really happy about this app and that my records are easily retrievable..Version: 6.5.0

It’s Great but Could Use a Few Fixes. My favorite thing is being able to see the results of any labs that I have done without needed to contact the office. I have multiple chronic conditions and it just makes it easy to track everything. I also love that I can send a message to my doctor and set up an appointment all from my phone because I tend to forget to call my doctors office if I have to wait for it to open. - There are a few things I wish could get a small fix. I have to open and close the app a couple times in order for it to let me log in. If I accidentally minimize the app and go back into it the message I typed is completely gone, and sometimes when im selecting a doctor to send a message there are multiples of one doctor. For example, I need to send a message to Dr. John but when I open the messaging screen there are 2-3 different options for the same doctor and if I choose the wrong one, it’ll never reach him..Version: 6.7.0

Dr. Falk is excellent!I was so pleased with my visit with Dr. Falk. She is very knowledgeable and approachable. I have many health issues and she was able to address them and give me hope that they can be resolved. I realize that I have to do the work in changing my lifestyle, eating better and more exercise but she gave me some great ideas and was able to address some medication changes where o am being over medicated. I recommend her highly!.Version: 6.3.0

Quick and Reliable ServiceWe’ve used this app for emergency room practitioners several times now. Most of the time it’s extremely quick to begin speaking to a provider, but when they’re busy, the estimated time is accurate, and you get to wait from the comfort of your home. Each provider has been very knowledgeable and informational - Much more than my experience in brick-and-mortar emergency rooms. As a mother of 4, I highly recommend!.Version: 6.5.0

MammogramThe medical staff member responsible for doing my mammography study did an excellent job. Because of other health challenges I have, her job was made quite a bit more difficult. She handled my situational challenges with a kind and professional manner. What could have been an awkward and embarrassing process went very smoothly because of the way she worked with these challenges. She is to be commended (and given a raise 😊) for her top notch work..Version: 5.13.0

Stay home and get seenVery easy to work the app. First time users will need to take a few minutes to register but once that is done everything else was easy. Great service! Loved the fact that I didn’t have to go to a clinic while I’m sick and worry about getting others sick. I was not able to select the pharmacy close to me (something with the App) but the provider was able to fix that..Version: 6.2.0

Extremely useful, needs some improvementsThis bit is only pertinent to the iPad version. Please provide the option for the screen to rotate to landscape. It’s just not ideal if you want to type. The graphics aren’t as nice either. The rest is about the app as a whole. (I honestly don’t know why people are leaving reviews about individual doctors; that’s wholly inappropriate.) It’s highly useful, but there are areas of improvement. First is that the app often freezes and crashes while trying to load. Second is that none of the visit notes or other information is available to download, including attachments sent by providers, even though there is a button to do so, and this is a HIPPA protected app. As a disabled person, I frequently need access to these notes and attachments and it’s cumbersome to have them sent via paper mail when they are readily available in app and SHOULD be downloadable. I also need access to message my non-medical providers, such as internal care managers within the Select Health system, who assist with patient care, prior authorizations, and appeals, as they are a connected system and work directly with my healthcare providers..Version: 5.18.0

Love having this accessI see a physician in another medical group and their online portal is so minimal compared to MyHealth+. I love how quickly and easily I can get lab work data (I get draws every 3-4 months for Chronic Kidney Disease) and how I can view trend data. I also appreciate being able to message doctors for myself or my children. Having visit summaries available digitally has also been helpful and removed the filing burden of printed papers. I use MyHealth multiple times per month and it positively impacts my ability to be informed and intentionally in how I care for my health and my children’s health..Version: 6.0.5

EffectiveThis has been very convenient with little kids. There has been multiple times in the middle of the night that we needed some thing and thankfully we were able to get a visit over the phone. There was only one time where my daughter had an ear infection that they were not able to help us. For little things that don’t require further testing. This is an absolute wonderfulperk of living in the 21st-century.Version: 7.4.0

Easy to use and navigate for the most partThe app is nice to keep track of appointments and tests as well as message the provider. I like being able to read the provider notes. Things I don’t like: I can find more providers in the Schedule an Appointment area than I can in the Find a Provider feature…that doesn’t particularly make sense especially when I use the exact same filters..Version: 6.17.0

IHC MyHealthThis app is amazing. It gives me online access to all of my medical information including office visits, medical history and prescriptions. It also gives access to many other resources including scheduling appointments and following up with my primary care physician. I was an early subscriber to this app and it’s incredible to see the continual improvements that have been made. I am thrilled to have all of this information accessible and well organized in one easy to use application. Thanks IHC For this great resource!.Version: 6.2.5

Pretty good. Login and authentication can still be kind of a mess.Pretty good. Login and authentication can still be kind of a mess. Example, on the phone app it asked me to login twice, redirected to a separate pop up, because presumably the synchronization between two different systems isn’t working seamlessly within the App. And good luck if you don’t have your password saved or forget it. Because getting the system to send a password reminder is difficult (I.e., there are a number of bits of personal data you have to provide before it will send, probably Hyppa, which is fine and makes sense), the challenge is, if there was a typo by anyone in the signup process (in my case incorrect birthdate) then it won’t send you the email. And we’re back to, good luck getting anyone on the phone quickly. who can help you with login. :).Version: 6.19.5

Such a great way to possibly save a tripI have a Halloween-worthy bruise on my arm and I was wondering if I might need someone to look at it in person. I mean, we’ve all read a bit too much on the interwebs and I was all thinking “blood clot!” Lol The nurse practitioner was thorough (asking to see it from the side as well as head on; was it swollen; are any areas below it numb, tingling, or swollen?). She even had me measure the size so she could make a note of it in my health record. Then she finished up with with telling what to look for, and how to relieve any discomfort it might be causing. She was calm and friendly. The background she chose was peaceful and cheery, so it did not add to any fear..Version: 5.14.0

Trying to create a my health app profile/accountI have been trying for a week to create an account and set up a profile and passwords. It kept telling me to call the troubleshooter line. So I did, and the lady I talk to was wonderful! I was on hold for about 45 minutes, which is crazy! You should really get some better music well you’re on hold, because it’s has so much static, and repetitious...it could make you go nuts by the time the operator answers you! Anyways, the lady was awesome & so helpful! She helped me do all the things I needed to do to get my account on online set up!.Version: 5.5.0

Connect care needs refiningThe app has been good for accessing health records, but scheduling appointments is clunky and I usually end up calling the office to schedule. The connect care timed out of the app while I was in the “waiting room” and I couldn’t get back to my visit. When I signed up for a new appointment, you can elect to have a text when your provider is ready, but when you leave the app there doesn’t appear to be a way to get back to your appointment and the text doesn’t have a link..Version: 5.19.0

Online SchedulingAnyone else know how hard it is to call in and schedule yourself an appointment to discuss your antidepressants when you’re already in the middle of a serious bout of depression? It was soo much easier to get myself an appointment through the app knowing I didn’t have to go through a receptionist. I also love that the app saves my care team and years of detailed medical records. I can even access all the surgical notes from my c-sections, including all the medical mumbo jumbo I can’t understand. It makes a huge difference to me to be able to see all my records in one place..Version: 6.17.0
