✓ A wonderful sequel to an amazing mobile gameSodaDungeon2 is a very good sequel to the original. I like the new content that was added and I think it improves the quality of the game. I think the gameplay of this series does get a little repetitive with it just having simple turn based RPG mechanics. But the captivating gameplay loop always proving interesting loot to collect to improve your adventurers and make your dungeon attempts more efficient makes it enjoyable. All of this coupled with an amazing soundtrack makes this a wonderful time waster and a worthy sequel to the original..Version: 1.0.7

✓ Amazing game buuuuuutI gotta say it’s a fresh feeling from other dungeon crawler and afk based games buuuuut it’s to slow. Yes I know that there is a speed up item you can get permanently, and yes I know it’s slow so you want to buy coins to get it but it makes this game to hard to play without it. This is a game I’ve loved from the first game to the next but this is an issue that only gets worse and worse every time I go into the dungeon. ✓ Never judge a book by its coverWhen I first saw the name and previews of the game I genuinely thought it was probably just some cheap game made for fun. I was heavily wrong. The game is top quality, not a single bug I have spotted so far, it’s extremely fun, the lore makes me keep going, and it’s an idle game that I Don’t go idle in. ✓ Awesome GameOne of the best mobile/steam games i’ve played in awhile. It has a great story with lots of funny dialogue and funny details. It also has some really good music and art. The gameplay gets a lot more advanced as you go further and further and there’s an awesome discord of awesome people who will answer your questions right away. ✓ I love this seriesThis was one of the first non run mobile games I was ever into and it started with the first when I was nine. It gave me something to play not only on the way to school but in free time to because I didn’t have much. Seeing a second one made now is so amazing. ✓ Played the first game and the fun and feeling never wore away.This game is a gem of the mobile game genre. The first game is unrivaled as my top 3 favorite games on any platform of all time. While this game is overwhelmingly amazing, it doesn’t have the exact same feel as the original. ✓ Amazing game! But…This is an amazong title with a ton of personality and and really fun mechanics to mess around with aswell. Making combos with your team is easily one of the coolest parts. My only issue at all with this title is that whenever applying the 10% gold increase in the dungeons they show banner ads. Which isnt the issue. But i would greatly appreciate if they could move the banners to the bottom. I wish to be able to see my characters aswell as my enemies moves. Small but very much wanted.Version: 1.2.2

✓ Great Game!I enjoyed the first soda dungeon and this one is just as well done! I would like to see some different kind of dungeons though, seeing the first 100 dungeon monsters over and over gets boring at times. Another thing i would like to see added are some script changes! Such as for the thief, is there could be a script log so that multiple thief's aren’t using their ransack abilities on the same monster that would be awesome! ✓ A Light For Mobile GamesThis game is a God send and we all needed a great mobile game that treats the players correctly and this game nailed it! I’ve always been a fan of rouge-like RPG’s and this has to be one of my top favorites. The grinding in this game isn’t that tedious when it comes to grinding, but there is a reason why I’m giving it 4/5 stars. The end game after dimension 10 isn’t perfect. What I mean is, grinding for the legendary gear doesn’t feel all that much powerful from the rare gear. It pretty much doubles the damage but there’s nothing much else that’s special that makes it legendary. Also if it does t have a gem socket, it’s pretty much useless to me, in my opinion. I have noticed that I never get bottle caps when I go into another dimension even though my brother get them whenever he goes into another one. I also am unable to use the bug report option in the menu. And I think that some of the tavern upgrades are very overpriced with some being worth 500 million coins when getting even 1 million is difficult. ✓ Quality Freemium* Game!Freemium* because while this game does have a lot of the usual things associated with bad freemium games like premium currency bought with IRL money, there is absolutely no need to ever spend a dime on this game. Soda Dungeon 2 does in-app purchases right by keeping them optional for those who want them. The gameplay loop of SD2 is fairly simple. You unlock a group of potential members to fill out your adventuring team, equip them with gear, and send them through increasingly challenging dungeons. You’ll get exp and level up, gain passive bonuses, and obtain new gear that makes reaching higher levels of the dungeon possible. And, you’ll inevitably die, and then you assemble another group to do it again. There is some fairly clever writing that should get a few laughs out of you in the game as well, which is kind of the cherry on top. Enjoy!.Version: 1.0.5
✓ Would be 5 star but....My game apparently didn’t save yesterday at all, I’d already been 2 dimensions in... iCloud didn’t save it either so I’m bummed out, it won’t stop me from playing it as long as my purchases restore however I am quite bummed about a couple hours of progress lost, RE: all purchases were restored besides the 2 dollars of caps I had gotten.... so still not a big loss but would be appreciated if I could get that back also the game needs an auto save I’m sure plenty of people had just closed out the game and lost there progress like me without hitting the exit button in the settings.Version: 1.0.3

✓ Great Addition to Soda DungeonSoda Dungeon 2 is an app that I have been anticipating for a while now. However, as with all apps, I had my doubts. Usually remakes are simply adding one or two features and are created to steal money from users through ridiculous in app purchases. This is not the case with Soda Dungeon 2. Soda dungeon was a cult classic and Soda Dungeon takes that legacy and multiplies it 100 fold. Not only is the art, gameplay, and styles the same, but the creators managed to expand a simple concept into something that is multidimensional. If you have not played Soda Dungeon, jumping into Soda Dungeon 2 is completely fine, as the developers have taken the time to create this game for all audiences. This game is great due to its immense detail, from the pixel art to the new Ambush mechanics. Soda dungeon 2 certainty is not a disappointment, and deserves all of the hype..Version: 1.0.3

Obviously made with love, and very addictive gameplay. My only suggestion for improvement would be some kind of info button on the combat screens, so we could get some info about the monsters we’re facing and make better choices about which ones to kill first. ✓ One of the best mobile games, EVERSoda dungeon 2 is a very good game, and the high amounts of effort that was put in the game is very easy to see when playing the game. Ads aren’t spammed every 5 seconds like other mobile games, and the dark lord is actually funny and not what you would expect from other generic game where the villain is some emotionless dude who just knows evil. ✓ Really solid gameI’ve played the original for a fair amount of time and loved it, saw that this had been released and downloaded it instantly and it is a really good game for something that is just early on. I love the addition of crafting powerful items but still being able to buy some things as well as being able to upgrade items. There were a few elements of character upgrades that were a little unclear, but playing through managed to show better than tell. ✓ I can’t stand this game any longerIt’s just too good. But seriously, I played the first game a while ago, and it was fun but this game makes many improvements. Obviously it has the same animation style, but the dialogue I feel adds a great layer of fun to the game. The Dark Lord’s letters to the player and his lines during encounters are hilarious, just as an example. I’m not sure if this was in the previous game, but I love the idea that you can get rid of ads and increase the animation speed with gold. Although it does require an obscene amount of in game currency, it’s still possible to achieve without paying, which is really cool. ✓ Love the game. Amazing. Get it now. ONE STARCan’t say enough about how awesome thus game is. Every five star review totally justified. The fact of the matter is though it’s unplayable as currently designed because the app will “reset” if you minimize it, sometimes in seconds. Sometimes in minutes. Sometimes never. So in order to go through hundreds of levels you have to leave your device on, window active, for literally hours at a time. Now developers I realize this is an IOS and Apple... let’s say... feature. But it doesn’t happen with music apps. So either program the game to handle it or allow better active saving. So frustrating to have a game experience ruined because it is designed to the games own weakness. Did you happen to work on Neverwinter nights? Moving six characters though a dungeon single file. The game is clever and humorous, while still having a feeling of progression without timers and the ads are there, but most are optional and not in your face. My one gripe, is when you are selling items and you scroll to the bottom to sell junk you are never going to use, after you sell an item, can you please leave the selected item pointer at the bottom, because eventually I am going to be selling a bunch of junk and I am going to click too much and sell my best gear. ✓ Fantastic Game!I played the original soda dungeon a few years back, after looking at the game, I thought it looked cool, and gave it a download. What a great idea that was. The game had lots of content, the ability to remove ads with coins, with not much grinding, and it was an overall great time. When I heard about a sequel I was excited, but skeptical. Was this next game going to live up to its predecessor? So I downloaded this game when it came out, and on steam, played it a bit.. and I can say, this game for sure lives up to the hype! It adds new aspects and improves upon aspects of the previous game, and maintains the non-intrusive IAP, and the ability to remove adds with coins, permanently. Same as the first.I loved the first and I love the second but both have the same issue that I find annoying for a “mostly-idle” game: Progressing through a dungeon requires my phone to be on and the app to be open. I love setting up a team and having them claw their way through floor after floor (hundreds and thousands of them) but WHY do I need to stare at the screen or set it up on the charger and leave open on the counter for hours? This is an idle game. There’s no doubt in my mind. It has great mechanics and funny dialog but why it pretends to be a classic rpg I don’t know. Embrace the idle and let us progress dungeons while offline, even if it’s 1/4 the normal pace and 1/2 the pace with the clock purchase. For those wondering, it doesn’t ruin the game. ✓ Oh My Goodness...Okay. I know you debs already have a lot of five star ratings but I really love your game. The steps you took away from being a simple dungeon game really make this game stand out. The pets, characters, quests, humour, soundtrack and much more is phenomenal(the armoury is my favourite by the way:)). Some people have been saying that you basically have to leave your phone to run while you do stuff and while that is true, at least it gets me away from my phone for a little bit. ✓ Just the best game not a cash grabThe game does not pressure you into making purchases and rarely even shows you adds that you don’t want to watch in general the best part of this game is the design and the little details for example on the cooking area (can’t remember the exact name or floor number) I saw them cooking a rat in the stew and I loved it and how the mini bosses/bosses actually looked good, I really like it’s not a cash grab like many other games are and how it does not push you to make a purchase if you are a free to play player you can easily accomplish what a paying player can do All in all an amazing game.Version: 1.0.4

✓ Great game bad bossOn Dimension eight the final boss is way to hard to stun or poison his attack that hits three people smite does way to much damage and the meditate move heals way to much health I went from killing every boss first try only losing one or two guys on the dimension 7 boss to trying two times on dimension 8 and getting him down to about 1000 health and then he just uses meditate and heals right back up to 3500 it’s very frustrating.Version: 1.0.5
✓ A very very good gameThis is like an idle game except you can go as deep into customisation of automation as possible. You can create custom scripts for you characters to perform or you can just let the computer handle it. Soda dungeon 2 allows you to go as in depth as you want or keep it very surface level, and it’s all up to you. There are micro transactions and pop up ads but the ads are very very minimal and understandable. The micro transactions will help you progress faster but are no where near necessary if you don't want to purchase them as you can unlock all the items later on in the game. ✓ Great Idle gameFirst I would like to say that the writing far exceeded expectations. It is minimal, but clever and fairly funny. Second I would like to say this game is great at being an idle game. However, it isn’t all that much fun for active playing. If slowly leveling character and collecting loot gets your brain to give you those precious hits of dopamine, then this game is for you. If you need to be an active participant in the experience, maybe just play through the main story for the humor..Version: 1.0.4
✓ Excellent Hands On and Off GameI don’t usually write reviews but I have to give credit where it’s due This game is extremely fun, and very successful with its auto battling use. The difficulty progression is well balanced where you might be over powered enough to skip a 100 levels or so but losing your top tier gear to progress the story is used well to rebalance you each dimension. Most characters are each useful in a unique way ( I havnt found much use for mystic yet honestly) and gain abilities as they level up so strategy’s are always evolving. Crazy improvement over the original soda dungeon which was also a hit for me. Love the bits of dialogue, it’s not too much but it’s quippy and tight and manages to give the world some character without really slowing anything down. Not done with it, but already looking forward to future updates that add content. Oh and the music for the kitchen fight levels. Absolutely perfect. Great job guys.Version: 1.0.3

✓ Thoughts on what can be addedThe game is awesome to play and dosent get boring. Just one thing that I think that you could add would be being able to see the level of the your characters rather than only seeing it when they level up and also how far away they are from the next level. ✓ Almost optimizedI have been playing this and SD1 for a long time now, and i have grown to appreciate their styles very much. one thing that is bugging me, however, is that there is A) no way to skip mineshafts, and/or B) a way to selectively go after certain ores and then leave the rest. i know ideally people want as many resources as possible, but after going so far in all i want is either platinum or uranium, sometimes malachite or gold. i feel the game and other users could benefit from a script allowing for certain ores to be targeted and to skip the rest of the mineshaft, both to save time and to prioritize resources for crafting/plating.Version: 1.2.2
✓ Minor bugFirst off, I really enjoy this game. It’s a good time-killer and it has a likable, simple story line. Nothing much else to say but it’s a good game. A minor bug I’ve encountered is, somehow, I can’t purchase the power forge. I completed the ruby quest and everything, but when I go to the carpenter, it’s nowhere to be found. I assume this power forge is crucial to progressing in the game because I’ve been stuck at level 300 for ages. I want to enjoy this game, but it’s getting jt repetitive at this point. I’m not sure any of these have been added yet, but if they haven’t, here they are! • A trading post, you don’t trade with other players because there isn’t a multiplayer feature yet, but with AIs. AIs would be wanting something for something else in return, like a quest but with items. • Adding to that, maybe you could add a popularity stat that could increase/decrease the chance of people coming? It could be gained by going further into the dungeons, trading [if you do add the trading feature] and how much trading requests you get [again, if If you do add the trading feature.] • Make monsters not have certain HP, but a small selection. Like for the rats, 2-4 HP. Small difference, but it makes more use of the HP seeing stone, and makes fights a little more better. This doesn’t include bosses because, they’re, well, bosses. [this may be a hard one, as you’d need to update your bestiary completely if you did add it, so I wouldn’t expect it to be added.] • And last but DEFIANTLY not least, once you defeat the final boss, and he goes away to a higher floor, you should face a different boss, a little weaker, but still capable of doing some damage, once you reach that floor. That makes it so getting to level 101 again doesn’t feel so...empty. Sorry for talking up a bunch of your time just by making you read this. ✓ Major soft lock problemSo far the game as a whole feels good. However, it gets to a point we’re it feels to much like a daunting grind to make progress, specifically level 600. The boss has too much hp and attacks twice. I don’t know how much more I need to prepare until I can finally progress to the next dimension. Even if I paid real money on additional deals, it still wouldn’t be enough to get anywhere. This has sort of been problem in the first game were you do the same thing over and over and aren’t getting anywhere further because your stuck in 1 spot and it will take ages before you can get anywhere. Last thing I want to say to the developers as a piece of advice. Don’t look for solutions, look for problems that can be adjusted to improve the game as a whole..Version: 1.0.4
✓ Amazing mobile game, great time waster!Soda Dungeon 1 was one of my most played mobile games. It was addictive, fun, and it didn’t feel as “cashgrabby” as 95% of other mobile games. I haven’t even gotten that far into this and can already tell it’s a worthy sequel. The gameplay is simple, but rewarding, the visuals look great, and the ads/in-app purchases are very unintrusive. And the music too it suits the theme of the video game. You can interact with characters, do quests and level up your characters as you raid dungeons and fight bosses. The in game dialogue is nice too each character plays their part in conversations adding more dimension to the game. For an idle, casual gameplay experience to burn time while you’re bored and wanna play a small game this one is worth it! Ads are very minimal and you can skip them too, nothing annoying like an ad after completing a level. This game is solid and well made, a good balance of content. ✓ Great gameI’ve really enjoyed playing this game. I played number one a few years ago, and I feel that this game is more; funny, fleshed out, balanced and enjoyable overall. There’s only one little pet peeve, the back attack 1.5x damage bonus only applies to basic attacks, but I don’t think the AI considers this when it selects a move, often wasting ever valuable mana on nurses using their toxic attack (1.2x multiplier) rather than the more damaging and conservative basic attack. Although this has led me to lose to some important bosses and set me back very few times, it’s irritating to see. I would much appreciate the implementation of scripts (as in the arena) or even something simpler, into the main game. <3.Version: 1.0.3

✓ I love this gameThis is an amazing sequel to the first soda dungeon, me and a friend used to leave that game running for hours upon hours while we played basketball or something. about 2 weeks ago I was scrolling through the AppStore and saw THIS, I texted a screenshot to my friend and we both instantly got it. I was so freaking exited and when I launched it... it lived up to every possible expectation I could think of, I beat the story in a week. My only problem is the lack of content once you reach the WD. There is nothing to strive for other than an endless grind, could we have events or PvP in the arena? maybe a leaderboard? ✓ THIS GAMEThis game is amazing overall everything you can do in it but I had 2 problems. First of all the problems is the saves. Sometimes when you log out of the game after selecting a party when you come back in it goes back to the original way it was before you got the party. The other way is that there isn’t much of a variety of stages. I mean we mostly only have the same 5 stages, we need a ice or fire stage like soda dungeon 1 had. ✓ Just a suggestionHello! I’ve been playing soda dungeon 2 for a week or 2, and I think the game could use some sort of global auction house. A place we’re people can put up resources, weapons, armor, etc. They can price it how every they want, I think this would give gold a bit more of a meaning after you unlock all of the cheaper upgrades like the buildings and the tavern stuff. After those the only use is the 500 mil upgrades which will take a long time to get, so in the mean time, you can buy and sell gear on the auction house. ✓ Great game but…The dark lord doesn’t seem that dark. From the 2 letters I got from him, he seems pretty nice because he politely asked us to stop raiding his dungeon.
