✓ BrickwallFun game till you get the near the endgame then the essences you need to upgrade become basically nonexistant and when they do appear its always for a bottom tier bot so its like you have this low chance of getting the item you need then when you do get it youve gotta hope it just HAPPENS to be for a bot youre actually using. ✓ Enemy DensityHonestly Botworld is a wonderful and fun game to play, I’ve had a blast playing as long as i have so far. What kills it for me is how densely packed all the enemies are. I get that it has “Pokémon” type game mechanics where walking in front of someone or a bot with initiate a battle. My problem is that in trying to do quests, you can run into (no joke, i counted) 22 fights between one quest and another. These would be great if the bots and bandits didn’t chase you down and force a fight. I’d like to actually adventure and experience the world, however, it seems like every two seconds of open world i get is followed by a mundane battle the barely gives any exp. For it’s trouble. Then once you finish that battle and take two more steps, you agro another fight. It really just kills it for me. ✓ Found the fix for loading into the gameI’m sure the game is great and I really want to try it out but everytime I’ve tried I just can’t seem to load into the game, I’ve restarted my device and closed the app and reopened it multiple times. No matter what I do it doesn’t let me pass the loading screen. Please fix this! Edit: So when you first download the game it asks to track. I clicked no at first and got stuck on the loading screen. ✓ Grindy and repetitive after a certain pointYou really need to increase the drop rate for rare bot materials. It’s very tedious and Grindy to level up bots past 20. I mean the only way to do so is to hope and pray you find one specific bot essence for one type of bot SOMEWHERE, that’s horrible. and when I go to specific areas to find the rare upgrade mats (I.e chaser cores) they don’t drop making it take forever to upgrade bots, especially if your trying to upgrade multiple bots of the same type. Please add some quality of life updates to improve this, or some type of new mode that we can get bot essence from. Other than that, the areas are all different looking but feel the same, there needs to be bit more content added to these areas so they don’t feel so similar. gameplay, story and characters are fun the bots are all unique but the game needs improvement in some areas.Fifty hug rugVersion: 1.6.5

✓ AnnoyingI am not having a very fun time in the game anymore. I have been playing while now and honestly overall it’s been a lovely game, but I have been stuck with this boat upgrade stuff for a while now and it’s frustrating that I have to go to the danger zone to find something in a cat but I’m never even able to fight cats, maybe one per visit because there are always blockages to certain pathways so by the time I get to where cats are I’m just about out of juice in my botpack. I reached out asking for an addition of an ad watch to reduce wait time for the danger zone and the response was less that helpful unfortunately. I’m not really enjoying playing anymore because of this, I’m just sort of waiting a day to go try and fail to find stuff. Probably done playing soon because of this reason. Months of watching the devs ignore good advice from an engaged community and choosing instead to do almost the opposite of what folks were begging for, months of trying to hold a demoralised and (worse) bored guild together while the devs do everything in their power to make things worse, has revised my opinion. ✓ Good game but severe gating is a major drawbackGreat game, fun, grindy, graphics, and gameplay are all good. However it’s very clear in the arena that you are not playing against other players or even other players bots, they are created accounts that have set bots. To which it is clear that you are being gated to not pass a certain point. I would go so far as to say the bots eventually have stats that are inaccurate to what they are for you. It gets to the point where no matter how you handle your game or bot setup you will lose. I found this around the 1750 mark. All lvl 10 bots. Playing against all lvl 10 bots and in circumstances where you should be guaranteed the win however magically the opposition is dealing significantly more damage than even the same bot on my team. Same level. Gating is to me hands down the biggest killer of any game and any game developer that uses it is simply cutting corners and being lazy. ✓ Too much issuesI enjoyed playing the game first honestly it was fun but so many issues raised as the game progressed. The boat upgrade is so annoying it gets harder and harder to find the objects in order to upgrade, second there are just way too many bandits and robots to fight in each location, like let me explore stop chasing me with fight they are clustered everywhere with these bots and bandits and even higher level ones (it’s annoying), third why does it cost so much coins to upgrade a robot seriously it just keeps increasing, fourth why can’t my team members upgrade their robots on their own I have to upgrade it for them, fifth it’s time consuming really especially waiting for scraps and the recruits to finish the job their assigned to. The fact that you are automatically warped to town on a single loss, no options, even if you still have full stamina/health/repair points, this is dumb and infuriating. Especially so in the danger zone, even if you forfeit, no, you have no choice, you must fully escape and start over. ✓ Has potential but buggy and repetitiveThe game has potential but it is very buggy. It has a ladder reward and arena system so you have to play daily(which some won’t like). As much as I like the ‘open-world’ concept, you need energy to explore the outer world and the number of fights you can do is limited every run so it is restrictive and isn’t entirely free roaming. Also, the game will get repetitive fast as you pretty much just do arena, explore the world, farm materials, do quests and battle constant enemies then the cycle repeats. ✓ Great game but so boringIt’s a great game but there is no way to speed up battles and the game forces battles on you so you have to sit through the entire time……it gets boring quick. ✓ Pay to win?Once you get to boat upgrade level 7 progression gets pretty cringe. 1 danger fuel a day is ridiculous and the fact that it requires you do those missions to upgrade your boat is ridiculous. If you pay enough money you can keep up with the story. It’s the classic bait and switch. First few levels are easy to progress but once you get to higher levels forget about it unless you want to spend money. Reply: you’re right you can play without spending money, but your tactics are very gotcha. For the 3% like myself who are addicted to spending on games, this game is like a poison. ✓ Needs workI had a long review touching on all the issues I have with this game almost fully typed out before the App Store sent me to my phones home page randomly and when I went back in the AppStore was just on the explore page and my whole review was gone... but to make a long story short this game needs some serious polish, my character constantly stops running on its own forcing me into unwanted fights, the self heal system is absolute garbage (maybe just way to slow ???) and half the time I “lose” on runs because I think I full healed in between fights just to find out I barely got to heal halfway, and don’t even get me started on how ridiculously rigged the squad cup is, I go 3/0 for the qualifiers and semi final (all opponents were around my and my teams level maybe up or down by 1 or 2 but the final match I (lvl13) get put against a lvl 5 Ai team.... I think okay I guess they’re just giving me a free win ? nope. Cause then my ai team has to vs a lvl 12 and then a lvl 13... my team both being like 6/7 for some reason obviously hard lost, why wouldn’t I THE HIGHEST LEVEL ON THE TEAM VS THE OTHER HIGHEST LEVEL ???? ✓ KELVINI have been trying for weeks to beat Kelvin Arena Boss. I’ve tried many different bot teams. Mixes of brawlers, snipers, evaders, and slashers. Also tried different types of abilities to keep the frosty’s at bay. Reaching my team to over level 10 made me think I could have a chance. Then I noticed Kelvin difficulty scaled with my team. I don’t have boys that I have to pay for. It seems like I need to pay to beat this boss. I’ve tried looking up guides to beat him. No success. I feel it is pointless to level up bots even more cuz Kelvin will just scale up to my level. Maybe I’m just bad at the game too. I’m not sure what to do at this point. ✓ Updated review 11/25For the season journey, I think battle chests needs to be upgraded. You earn 100 tokens and get a battle chests that gives you 3 of one scrap when you end 50 plus to upgrade. I just think time spent playing and items received balance is off. When you then go to team battles in the arena, say your level 20. You and your first recruit may have bots level 20 but your third recruit will most likely not due to scrap scaling. But all three opponent recruits will have max level 20 bots. For one I love the character and setting design, I think they did a great job in that department, but gameplay wise I think they dropped the ball. First of all the lack of zones required them to make getting to each one extremely grindy which makes it pretty boring which is compounded by the fairly uninvolved battle system. Even just something simple like tapping on a bot to use its ult when you want it to would go a long way. Implementing actual multiplayer instead of the glorified bot battles they have now would also be great. ✓ Fun game until lvl 20Really enjoyed the game, and spent a bit of money ($50) to thank the devs. But by time you start getting to level 20 and above the game gets too grindy. No easy ways to farm and at a disadvantage in every arena match. You never get the initiative in arena. So you place bots and always get countered. It’s never the other way around. Maybe if I had spent more to over level all my bots it’d be easier, but I ain’t about that. Great game off the hop, but fails by the time you get to lvl 20. I don’t want to be stuck doing desert runs for the next two months hoping I get a random drop. Thanks for the good start to the game though! ✓ Gameplay mechanics need serious reconsiderationLet me start my saying that this game, for me, was hands down one of the most enjoyable games I’ve played. I was instantly hooked; from the graphics, story, quests, battling to resource collection, upgrades and discovering new botframes (characters). Just beautiful! There was much to explore. I got a wonderful 2-3 weeks of gameplay out of this before encountering a crucial gameplay/battle mechanics flaw, that’s too big for me to continue playing. See, as you level up your bots through accumulated resources, it turns out the wild/enemy bots and bandits also level up with you which pretty much kills the point of levelling. In previously discovered/completed map areas, where the bot levels should ideally remain the same because you have ‘beaten’ that area, in a sense, the bots keep getting stronger. You literally spend hours and hours collecting and spending hundreds of different kind of resources and gold to make your bots stronger only to have everything become harder with it. It doesn’t make sense. Player should be given an advantage in the game for levelling! Not penalized! It’s pointless and you hit a plateau pretty quick. This, coupled with the scarce resources in relation to the exponential resource demands for upgrades is preposterous. You realize that it’s not worth putting in the time and effort anymore because there’s no pay-off. Suggestion: Keep the level of wild bots and bandits specific to the map areas and independent of player bot levels..Huzzy J.Version: 1.0.0
