I am not paying £175 per year!!!As I mace paid for the camera and now I am being asked to pay £175 per year for add free!!!! This is what is wrong with apps now!!!.Version: 1.1.2

Scam!Originally starting out working and worked decently. Got new phone and phone apple account showed active subscription. I was able to log into digit cam app; however subscription disappeared on the app on my new phone. No help desk or anyone to reach to reverse the charge I paid for an annual subscription that only lasted 5 months. Complete rip off. Don’t get..Version: 1.1.7

Not worth itI’ve had this thing for over a year and every time I use it, the log on to the camera chimes in my daughters room and wakes her every time. It’s also constantly going offline even when our WiFi works. 👎🏻 fix the bugs. I would not recommend this camera for anyone unless it’s for pets..Version: 1.1.7

Cloud Service ScamI have been paying $10 monthly for the last few months for the CVR service but have only been receiving the $2 motion only service. I have tried fixing it to no luck. I have tried to find a way to reach the company but there is nothing. Horrible Camera SystemI wanted to try the camera before paying monthly or yearly and with the last up date it went from free 10 second recording to 6 seconds....which in my opinion is the developers trying to get you to buy subscription. No!!!! The camera is not even good. It sometimes will see movement outside but continue to rotate 360 for no reason and I don’t have the sound option on. The 6 second recording doesn’t give you enough time to see anything. It also freezes for no reason and has distortion. Night time camera is even worse. Picture quality for what the 6 second recording shows is horrible. The app is crapy too. Buy a better camera because you will regret purchasing this one. I just bought an iPhone 14And no longer have connection to my digitcam. I’ve disconnected and reconnected the camera and app and installed the latest software update and nothing works. Which is unfortunate as I have had this camera and app since my first born was 1 yr old. Nothing works. It says it’s loading at 90% but then it says it failed to connect. I am at a loss. Cameras fine, cloud is uselessCamera works fine no issues. But the one time I want to go back and see more from an alert I buy the subscription thinking it’ll let me. Which was total bs I buy it and try and it says I don’t have a subscription. I let time go by and then it says I can’t because I don’t have an SD card in the camera. So the “cloud” they advertise is a complete lie. Don’t waste your money on the services they are offering. Very bad cameraHonestly at the start this camera was good but soon it decided to just not work how its suppose to. Now all of a sudden you cannot connect to the camera from your phone using normal phone data. It will not notify me if my baby is crying and just simply barely picks anything up. Ads?! Really?!I have had this app since December and it is mediocre at best. There is a lag, it glitches, but it works most of the time. It works but I wish it was better. BUTTTTTTT here is the reason I am writing this review. With the most recent update, there are now ads!!! I have to watch ads every time I open the camera to check on my baby. WHY?! Keeps making noises!Keeps making the really loud start up noises just out of the blue and is really slow and laggy even when the internet is super fast. When you open the app it pastes from your phone (my phone alerts me at the top of the screen) which is pretty weird. Wishing I’d just paid extra for a more reliable one that actually works! The privacy policy seems very slack aswell saying they share your data etc with third parties!.Version: 1.1.7

Won’t workIt worked fine for a few days, today it quit connecting, I reset several times, deleted camera, added it again and still won’t load past the 30% mark and gives an error about “can’t connect, try again later”; terrible support, worthless camera at this point, fix issue, otherwise it’s just a paperweight.Version: 1.1.7

RubbishAt first it was great and it was so handy being able to check on the house whilst at work but after awhile its just went downhill! Obnoxious Ads!I had purchased one of the cameras in December to use as a baby monitor. I didn’t like having to have the app open to hear the sound. However, I decided to keep it and use it as a camera since instead of using it as a monitor. After getting used to using the camera to check on my baby and moving the baby to his own room we ordered another one. Having two cameras was working just fine until the last update. Woke up early and got on the app to check on the baby when an ad popped up. Mind you I have the sound on my apps muted so that I don’t wake anyone up when the house is silent. The ad that popped up was so loud and it was a scream. Talk about obnoxious. I’m hoping with enough bad reviews and comments they will fix this otherwise I’ll be finding something else to use. Avoid these CCTsWorked ok to start off with. But had a tendency to disconnect now and then. Now they no longer connect to the wifi network while cameras of a different make connect fine. AdsWe have had this app for awhile now and have never dealt with a single ad for anything. Today I had to sign back in for the first time since we got this and now I have been bombarded with ad after ad. Completely ridiculous that there are any ads at all. A lot of people use this as a baby monitor, as that is one thing it’s advertised as. Also the motion of my son moving is not detected but a small piece of dust flying by the camera is. When my son cries in his room where the monitor is it’s not detected but if he is down they hall making any kind of noise that’s detected. This camera and app are pretty pointless since it just filed with ads and doesn’t do what it’s suppose to. Very disappointed..Version: 1.1.2

HorriblePurchased “subscription” for $180 that was supposed to allow me to store to a cloud and connect multiple cameras. Didn’t work so I tried to redownload it. Useless on iPhone!Switched to iPhone from Samsung, notifications worked perfectly on Samsung but nothing on iPhone. Reading through previous feedback, I decided to turn on my old Samsung on to see if it was an app issue or if it was something else, the notifications are coming through as they should on the Samsung but nothing on iPhone. This is obviously an apple issue but needs sorting asap. Given there’s not even any feedback on any reviews, the company obviously aren’t bothered. There is a new app which I have downloaded, this doesn’t send notifications either, they obviously know there’s an issue as when you click on download app from the App Store, it doesn’t do anything but Google play goes right to it. Not as a baby monitor!!!Picture quality is great however the whole app is very unreliable! Not greatI have a few cameras that I bought to check my home when I'm away. The programming seems outdated now. No update in over 2 years while the iPhone OS is updated all the time, it can't keep up. The cameras are always going crazy and making noise and moving or restarting on their own. Super creepy. I know there is a risk of hacking as with any and all electronic devices but it's uncomfortable. I disconnect them quite often. The microphone doesn't work that well either and it takes forever to load when I click to view one of the rooms..Version: 1.1.7

Slow and laggyThis app is slow and laggy even on SD, when opening the app it takes a while to connect and then trying to control the camera it lags behind the camera moving even whilst sat in front of it. The WiFi is fine too so there is no issues with the speed. I had this app on a Samsung and it worked a little better with less lag so has to be the app..Version: 1.1.7

Was good but now some features not workingWhen I first started using Digit Cam app for the IPhone I would get screen notifications when the camera detected motion, but since the last update the notifications have stopped working but all the settings are turned on. They need to fix this. AnnoyingI use this camera as a baby monitor, I’m not trying to download whatever game you’re advertising or apply for a credit card when I open the app to see my child, I’m trying to see my child. The camera itself is aggravating as well, constantly disconnects and reconnects to my WiFi for no reason and has this loud annoying jingle when it turns on back on/reconnects and often wakes my child up. Doesn’t deserve one star!So after purchasing security cameras. This app was the only one in which I can connect them to. At the start everything seemed great. Then a week later, cameras would not connect to the app, I’ve had to reset the cameras to the app numerous times. I even paid for a subscription to record 24/7. It doesn’t not do what it says. I auto renewed just in case the app started working a bit better and hoping I’d get better service. It costs £19.49 a month, I was greeted this month with payment taken and NO ClOUD STORAGE!! I think it is extremely expensive for the lack of service you get. If someone invested a bit more time into make this app as great as it possibly could be. Then there wouldn't be any issues. But I’d avoid at all cost. Better apps out there who actually give you a service you pay for. The app developer clearly is only concerned about profit rather than providing a decent service. Ads before viewing!When we first got this camera it was brilliant - alerts for any noise or movement. I can see my daughter from work which is nice (partner at home with baby!) HOWEVER....they’ve recently added the fact you have to watch an ad before you can see the alert - meaning there’s a delay in seeing if anything’s wrong with your baby. Disgraceful decision. Don’t update - App now has Ads!They updated the app claiming “bug fixes” but they added a ton of ads! Now the app has full screen ads and if you want to get rid of them you need to subscribe to their cloud services. I have 4 of these cameras so I feel stuck with them but if I had known about the ads I would have never bought these cameras. I use them for baby cams and to have to click through ads to use your own property is absurd. Imagine if Garmin had ads in their app that you had to click through to use their product. Camera quality is good but video feed cuts outThis camera is great in terms of video quality and I love that I can use the app to move the camera to look where I want it to without having to go into the room and manually reset the position. However. Every single night at exactly 1:04am, the camera goes offline and stays offline until around 8am. I thought that it was my internet at first but I restarted my modem and it didn’t help a tiny bit. I went to reset the camera and same thing, didn’t help even a little. The camera still shuts off every night at 1:04am. This is entirely inconvenient as I use this camera as a baby monitor. I even deleted the camera from my app and re-connected it to my phone app and still nothing. I don’t know if it has to do with the software or hardware in the camera but this is getting ridiculous and I’m about to send the camera back and ask for a refund..Version: 1.1.1

Don’t do it.Camera was great for the first week then the app stopped notifying of my baby being awake. By this time she’s wide awake rather than just stirring! Won’t let two different phones use same cameraI bought this camera and downloaded this app a little over a year ago when my son was born. For the first year it was fine where my wife and both could download the app and use it to see him in his room. Then about a week or so ago the app now only lets just one phone see thru the camera. Started off OK but no longer working properlyIn the beginning I praised this baby monitor and the app but we’ve only had it a couple of months and recently the app just stopped giving me notifications even when i’m very actively moving in front of the monitor. AnnoyedI don’t usually write reviews but this I have to. I have a 13 week old baby and I bought my Victure camera which I found out linked to this app. At first it was great. It was easy to use. Connected well but since the last update I physically cannot use the app properly. First off, ads. Its annoying. It’s a delay in being able to see what my baby is up to. This could mean a huge problem for me. Second, I can no longer look at my alerts from motion sensor because it just won’t let me. I don’t know if it’s now a premium feature but it’s annoying because I like the alerts. Staying on the alerts, it now takes atleast 10 minutes on average for the alerts to come through on my phone. By this time o have already sorted everything out and I don’t need the alert. Next, the connection. What on earth is going on there? I mean, it’ll load and then it won’t load and then it’ll tell me there is a network problem and then it sends me to the test bot to test my connection which tells me is excellent but it still won’t load and so I am video-less. What’s even worse is that the camera is still working! The camera is not the issue it’s friggin app and I am really annoyed at the developers for making updates that are just ruining the app. The premium service also is a sham and a con. Why should I pay for the service when I haven’t needed to in the past and even though I would like the premium service I am not willing to pay almost £10 a month to use it. I’d rather go buy another camera that works with another app. All I can say is I am glad I have an audio monitor as well as the camera or I would be stuffed..Version: 1.1.3

Privacy and Security IssuesI've started noticing that every time I open the app it pastes whatever is in my clipboard. It will say "Digit Cam has pasted from Lyndsi's MacBookPro" What purpose could this possibly have?? Also, the camera constantly disconnects and when it reconnects it makes a very loud chime that wakes up my baby. The alerts are useless because they are so far behind. Mostly TerribleSince buying a indoor camera from this company, sometimes it works perfectly but mostly it lags and freezes and often says “camera offline” even wen theres nothing wrong with the wifi. Scary privacy issuesI'm deleting this app and throwing away my camera. When you open the app, it takes anything you have copied and sends it to their servers (e.g. if you copy something from somewhere like a password or email address they will take that information). If the developers are bold enough to try to get whatever is in my clipboard, then I do not trust them with a video feed of my child. I'm very surprised Apple allowed this app on the app store. P.S. I'm a software engineer so trust me on this one - I recommend getting your camera refunded if you have that option.Version: 1.1.7

Would use only as a supplemental cameraThe camera quality is good and responds pretty well; there is the issue of WiFi reliability—I sometimes wont get motion alerts until 10 minutes after I’ve taken the baby out of the room (so if I was depending on this as my only baby monitor, that could have disastrous results)—but it is nice to use as a supplemental camera where I can check in on things at home when I’m out and about. One other issue is the most recent update where they’ve really began to push their ads in the app—you can’t get rid of them unless you go to premium—but as I’ve already paid for the camera, I don’t see why I should have to pay additional to use it hassle free. The ads will actually block the alerts at the bottom of the page with no way to close them, so it’s a bit of a nuisance..Version: 1.1.2

Horrendous baby monitor. Do not buy!Unfortunately if you are looking at the app it probably means you’ve already bought the camera, if so, return it. If you’re not flooded with adds keeping you from seeing your child, then it’s disconnecting every 5 min and going offline. Additionally, the adjustable decibel detection is a joke. It either hears a fly fart and sends you an alert or you get nothing. Just an overall aweful app and system. The only reason it’s not one star is because the camera quality is decent and the mount is good..Version: 1.1.5

Was really goodI’ve had these for over a year and they were great until I’ve had to change the internet now it’s asking me to take out a subscription when I’m already subscribing. Not happy at all..Version: 1.1.7

TrashI can’t use the camera I just purchased. It’s always having issues “connecting to WiFi” or loses signal and I have to uninstall the camera from the app and reinstall it in order to reconnect the camera. Then it only works a few more minutes before it loses connection again. My WiFi signal is “excellent“ so I don’t get how it keeps loosing signal. Trash app and wasted money on the camera since I can’t use it without this stupid app..Version: 1.1.5

Useless unless you subscribeBought a Victure PTZ camera that will only work with this app, ok that’s fine as long as the app works which it does, all the functions are working on my app, so decided I would get another camera, before I bought a second had a look at how to connect multiple cameras, imagine my surprise when it will only allow you to connect and view ONE camera, to “Unlock” the other screens you have to subscribe to the cloud service at a cost of nearly £100 a year to have my videos stored somewhere outside of UK, I asked the seller about this who replied you can add cameras. YOU CANNOT add another camera unless you pay, so totally useless in my opinion unless you only want it for ONE camera.Version: 1.1.7
