✓ Boring and over pricedAnother boring cooking app which uses all of the ingredients and restaurants as many other apps.. The boosters are so expensive it’s an absolute joke. ✓ Very important readTargeted advertising even when you opt out. And when I tried to complain they brushed over it by ignoring me. I will be reporting them. Plus it deliberately tries to get you to spend money. Trying to rip you off. Just stop playing for a day or two then you find the level doable. DO NOT spend a penny wait for the boosters to become free. Every level is doable just takes time. Level 242 can’t be done without gems you need so save 100 gems which will buy you an extra 30 seconds for the 2nd star then it’s easy from there on. ✓ Have to pay $ to winSo I have been playing this game for quite a while. I have really enjoyed it and have found it to be really relaxing up until recently. While playing certain levels, I have found them to be impossible to win, even with a booster. For instance, level 185: star 2, even with instant cook, you cannot win it. There just isn’t enough time or customers for the amount of coins you need. Therefore, you HAVE to spend money to add time to win. I have played multiple levels like this. ✓ Fun but sometimes impossibleLet me start by saying I’ve had a lot of fun playing this game. However, there are some issues. Mainly that certain levels are impossible without boosts. For example, some of the timed levels requires you to cook a certain number of meals. But the duration of the timer is not long enough for enough guests to come in and order the number of meals required for you to pass. In addition there are levels that require you to make a certain amount of money. But even with upgrades and serving as fast as humanly possible you can’t make the money required without using a boost. These levels did not start becoming prevalent till later in the game when you’ve already sunk a lot of time into it. Makes beating the game without spending money impossible, which makes it feel less like a free to play game and more like a pay to win game. All in all, I would give it a try but don’t expect to win unless you are willing to spend some cash..Version: 1.0.50

✓ A Few Major FlawsOverall, this game is a lot of fun. However, there are a few issues. The higher levels have way too many sub levels that take forever to complete. Moreover, the only way to complete certain levels is to spend cash to buy boosters. Otherwise, it’s nearly impossible to finish. This brings me to another major problem. Towards the end of the round, if you haven’t met your goal, a screen pops up asking if you want to spend 100 diamonds to continue trying. Unfortunately, this screen appears while you’re in the middle of playing the game and clicking on food. Subsequently, I’ve lost 100s of diamonds on rounds that I would not have chosen to continue because of the sudden appearance of that screen. I wrote to the company about the issue, and they refuse to move the pop up screen or return the diamonds. The company obviously places these screens in such a way that players will unintentionally click on it without even realizing what they pressed. Therefore, I won’t spend more money on the game until that issue is addressed..Version: 1.0.50
✓ Love this game BUTI love this game BUT when you a timed level as soon as the person starts walking it starts counting down and they walk down to the end of the counter so you’ve lost 3-5 seconds and you just about beat the timer with 15/16 and now they want 100 diamonds to play on so you have to buy diamonds if the timer started when they reached the end of the counter and the order popped up that would allow the extra few seconds and you’d win without having to constantly buy diamonds. I’ve spend a lot of money buying diamonds and so I’ll probably quit if they don’t fix that problem or change it cause that’s aggravating..Version: 1.0.33

✓ Inappropriate Ads ruin a good game not ok for young childrenThis is a fun game, I enjoy it, however it’s rated 4+ but the ads that appear include violent shootings, soap opera drama with kissing/making out. It’s not offensive to me personally but I don’t allow my young child to play solely due to the ads. I can’t find a way to report the ads to Apple to change your age rating but it’s really not ok to list a game as ok for 4 year olds and then have ads I’ve only previously encountered on 12+ or 17+ games. 4 year olds don’t need to see people getting shot in the back. :). ✓ Fun game...but too many issuesOn level 216 of the Sushi Restaurant, the customers cannot receive the food therefore cannot pass the level. Sent error to tech support...no response. In the Bbq restaurant, the game ends and the pop-up to use 100 diamonds to continue pops up so quickly, it will cause you to accidentally spend your diamonds while you think you’re still serving dishes (need a confirmation pop-up when spending that many diamonds). Saw it was updated a day ago, but no fix for these issues. In addition, you will constantly need to finish almost every level with all 3 stars just to be able to pass harder levels as they won’t give you enough customers to win without doing so..Version: 1.0.36

✓ Heavy sadness.I began playing and spent maybe an hour passing levels and being so happy. Happiest I’ve been in a while. I’m only on the second restaurant and I’ve now given up hope. The levels became insanely hard FAST. too fast. It’s like they want you to be hooked so they trick you into spending money. Once you get to building 3 (donuts and waffles) there are a lot of timed levels and I go as fast as I possibly can and still can’t beat some of levels unless I add time with gems but I don’t have enough gems so I just get stuck on one level. I’m almost prepared to delete the game if I can’t pass the level that I’m on within the next couple of days. ✓ Read the reviews. It’s true.I liked the game when I first downloaded it but when I got to the bakery, I noticed the levels were drawn out and too long. I almost stopped playing because it was boring. Then moving to another restaurant, it’s nearly impossible to pass these levels without using boots or diamonds. They have the additional 10 seconds if you watch the commercials but it doesn’t help. I know what they are doing, I understand you need to make your money but I refuse to spend money on this game to get ahead if it is rigged. I thought it was just me at first but I see a lot of us have the issue of the customers not coming fast enough to even finish the level! Even now, I just had an issue to where I actually paused the game and the customers were steadily coming and using up all my candy to keep them satisfied! I’ll check back later to see if there is an update but for now, I think I’ll give this game a rest. Do not get into the habit of spending your money on this game. ✓ Fun and challenging but...This game is challenging, it is fun, but they don’t have enough ways for you to earn boosters as rewards. Some levels can’t be passed without a booster. As far as I know there are only three ways to get more boosters: 1. Buy them with diamonds (you earn minimal diamonds when you pass a level and boosters are expensive so this is not a great option), 2. Get them gifted by friends (in order to add friends in the game you have to add friends on Facebook, sorry not adding a bunch of random people to my FB to get boosters), 3. Buy boosters through in app purchases (this is not a good strategy either as most people do this as a last resort, and it makes it seem like the game company really just wants your money, the ridiculous amount of ads they force you to watch after playing each level should cover the cost of rewarding you with boosters on occasion like pretty much every other major game on the market). Although the game is fun the company that produces it has some serious work to do in order to retain players without making you buy the items you need in order to play the game. I’d be more likely to spend money if I knew there were other non-paying ways to earn boosters..Version: 1.0.33

✓ Timed Games & Rigged AdsThe game is fun, but when it comes to the timed games, it’s near impossible. The game offers 10 extra seconds if you watch a video, but as the ad is ticking down, the game time behind the ad is ticking down as well. By the time you exit the ad, you don’t have the 10 seconds anymore. Developers get paid off of the watched ads I presume, but this is absurd to trick people into watching the ad and not giving them the incentive reward (10 more seconds). ✓ Racist references/ stereotypesI started playing this game because I love cooking games, but as the game got harder I noticed that there is only one character of color, but what really bothered me is that as the game became harder the only character that would get angry right away was the character of color. As a person of color there is always the stereotype that we are angry and easily frustrated, specially man color of that as 2021 has proved to us has been proof of the racism and the issues we experience on a day to day. ✓ Good gameI really enjoy the game. It’s challenging which makes for a good game but when you get to the higher levels it is impossible to beat without spending money. The customers don’t come in fast enough to actually win. Even when you spend diamonds, use the powerups and use the extra 10 seconds 2 times and still can’t beat the level. When you buy the diamonds they don’t last long. I can understand making a game challenging but it’s more than challenging it’s impossible. The game is made to make you buy to win. And even then it’s still almost impossible. Also I have recently lost all my friends in the game, which means I don’t get to use the small amount of extra lives I get daily. I’ve messaged in the game and I have had nobody do anything about it. They just tell me to invite friends. I did they disappeared. It’s been like this for about 2 weeks. Also when someone sends diamonds in the messager they don’t show up in the game. The coins wouldn’t show up from the game mail either. I play daily and I have spent money on this game. Like the other reviews I read, the customers come out slowly and waste a good 10 seconds so you’re always short customers which requires you to spend money. I also noticed that if the target is 17 thumbs up, I get the 17 or more and it won’t give me the key. And when I go to play that level again, the 17 thumbs up is now 24. Same with money... if it says the goals is 250 and I pass it, I don’t get the key and now the goal is 375. I messaged the game team through the app and I got the same canned response that’s in the reviews. “You keep with it champ and you’ll get there”. It’s condescending because I’ve beat the level and you’re not giving me the key. I’ve spent money because I do like the game and I get so frustrated but now I’m aggravated that it seems to be every level now. ✓ MehOnce you get to the second level after exhausting try after try to get enough keys, your fingers won’t be quick enough, unless you watch videos to get another 10 seconds which only lets you serve 2 customers if you’re quick enough. ✓ “No ads” is a jokeIt’s fun to play but them ads are long and annoying, so I bought some packs to have it to go away but it didn’t! For example, play free with ads after every game play or buy somethings in game that show “NO ADS” and it still give you ads not after every game play but after every third time playing. So much for false advertising...if I knew this, I would have just play free with ads better than to spend to get nothing achieved. It’s a joke and fooled me ridiculously. I had to deleted the app...very annoying ads and you can’t mute the sound from the ads that were playing..Version: 1.0.25
✓ Game is good but totally rigged for many levelsThe game has the potential to be awesome, except for the fact that it’s literally rigged on several levels in various scenarios: each level has goals you have to meet to beat it, like serve a certain amount of customers in say 60 seconds. Levels like these are rigged to the point they don’t even give you enough customers or enough time to meet the goal, so they force you to use purple crystals (which are handed out skimpily to begin with), and if you don’t have crystals, then you have an option to watch a 30-90 second ad to continue, and sometimes you don’t even have that option so you lose the round entirely. There are also levels where all your food is upgraded entirely so you have maximum coin earning potential for the round without boosts, you serve all the customers perfectly and on time, and you still don’t meet the level’s goal of earning a certain amount of coins to win the level, even when all food is upgraded. In cases like this, it means you must either pay for the combo boost or randomly earn it using coins or ad watching. The whole system is frustrating because they don’t allow you to play on your own skill for many levels; it’s rigged to get you to spend money..Version: 1.0.94

They will reply only to whom they want to reply too. This game is a good game and would love to continue playing but the developers must realize that a customer should get a response back to a question so they can inform all of there customers. ✓ Difficult to earn diamondsThe boosts that you can earn (using the diamonds when you pass the levels) are very outrageously expensive. You only get 1-3 diamonds at a time but to purchase boosts cost 200 OR 100 if you don’t want to lose your progress for that round. And there’s no other way to get diamonds other than to 1) pass the levels earning just 1-3 at a time OR 2) purchase. I have lost about 300 diamonds by accidentally clicking on the 100 diamond for an “extra” 30 secs or people or whatever. This is not the developer issue but still...there should be other methods to earn diamonds for boosts. I’m slowly losing my drive to play this since the levels are quite difficult to beat..Version: 1.0.22

✓ Honesty is keyI’m going to be as honest as possible. I do love this game a lot but that could also have to do with my POV. The game looks great and how everything works, it’s an amazing game. What I found frustrating is it seems when you get to the Bakery world, the novelty wears off quickly. Even with time boosts and instant cook, I still couldn’t seem to beat the time. The options on many of the “30 or 40 levels” in that get so ridiculous, it’s almost discouraging to continue. I saw myself running out of time much more often than before and just so I wouldn’t lose my instant cooks, I have to spend money just to beat a level. It’s FRUSTRATING! Not only that, the boosts are stupid expensive, the additional features like cards and fragments is a little extra. And often they recommend you upgrade items before you actually have enough xp to do so. I dunno, I love this game but I don’t see me playing very long..Version: 1.0.23
