✓ Delete immediatelyHonestly, can’t you just give me a Bluetooth connection without trying to capture my personal information? Don’t need personal information for me to connect to a toothbrush. Do not give these people your personal information. Why in the world would they need your location?!!! They must be up to no good. We will not sign up and sign in. ✓ Doesn't pair BluetoothMy wife and I purchased a set of these from Costco. I downloaded the app. Instructions are numbered with diagrams that don't have any corresponding descriptions for features. The app can find my toothbrush but hangs at the setup step of "looking for smart charger". Apparently the regular charger isn't enough to use this much lauded feature. I have it a 1 star review for covering this already expensive tooth appliance with Bluetooth iconography when it's clearly a useless feature without buying an, I'm assuming, optional device. ✓ App is 100% defectiveI have been spending many many hours today trying to get V1.0.7 of this App to work and can now certify that it is 100% defective, just like other reviewers have reported. Although I can see clearly that my Toothbrush does have an Internet connection (which was surprisingly easy to setup) but the App simply refuses to show any kind of brushing data. This kind of crap should never have been allowed for download by unsuspecting innocent users who have plunked down $200+ for this product. Oral-B customer support is basically non-existent, since all they do is “write down your data” and then tell you to either reset it or return the product. Another surprise was that they insisted that v1.0.7 is OLD version and I should be using v1.2.x GO FIGURE! SHAME ON THEM for subjecting customers to this kind of torture!!.Version: 1.0.7

✓ Alexa registration issuesEverything worked fine and then all of a sudden the base ‘isn’t registered’. The Alexa says to register use the companion app. Unfortunately the button in the app to add Alexa doesn’t do anything. The Alexa app can’t find the new device either. Once again it has failed, it freezes and records or shows no time movement. I’ve deleted the app and reopened it many times. It will work for a while and then dies. However, I used a previous Oral B app where you could see the quadrants of your mouth while brushing and I felt that was more informative that just the circles. ✓ Brush head reminder changedThis reminder apparently is now based on calendar days. It used to be based on minutes used which I feel is a much better indicator of wear. The calendar period may be too short for those who brush once a day. It may be too long for those who brush multiple times per day and/or for longer than 2 minutes. ✓ STOP!! This is not the app you need!This doesn’t work with newer Oral-B toothbrushes. I just purchased my Oral-B Genius X and this app does not work with this toothbrush. There is a another Oral-B app that does. That app shows your upper and lower teeth and where your bushing at the same time your using your Oral-B toothbrush. With a timer that counts how long you need to bush and the app also rates your quality of how good your bushing teeth. Pretty slick!! Smart phones, smart TVs and now smart toothbrushes.
