Hope 3.1.4 will fix issuesRunning 3.1.3 (9). Charts can’t display in landscape, cannot scroll through time axis, most recent data on time axis hidden. Events do not update as required and often not reported, event filtering doesn’t work. App Dev needs prioritization, investment and QC to become useful and dependable. Unacceptable that their still is no level of application maturity on 3.1.3..Version: 3.1.3

Cute ideaApp lacks the functionality to control any devices. Was hoping I could replace my SCP with an in wall iPad running the app, no such luck. Seems like a relatively simple idea hopefully future versions will be able to accommodate..Version: 3.4.3

Hard to use, frustrating, does not in any way work consistentlyTitle says it all. Get it together Schneider. This thing has too many problems to count and they all seem incredibly easy to fix. Major PITA please get over yourselves and fix Edit: I received the response from Schneider, vaguely attempting to pawn the responsibility off on me by insinuating I am using an outdated version of the software, however I have always been using 3.1.1, which is incredibly buggy and inconsistent, despite being the latest version. Also, contacting Schneider support is not something that I can just easily do. Your tech support department is not reachable by phone. You have to fill out a form and wait an undisclosed period of time, atleast a few days, for them to get back to you. This, in my opinion, is a Totally inappropriate way to handle technical assistance for this kind of equipment, because it is the lifeline for people living off grid. If I ever have a serious problem with my inverter that requires tech support to fix, I will be out of power for a few days, waiting for a Schneider tech to get back to me. Hope it never happens on a Friday!.Version: 3.1.1

Problem in the App InsightMobileWell, in the App section Analyze, Production when selecting from Solar appear 0 Wh of production. This message is wrong. Another situation is in the section of settings, GW Firmware Version shows the old version when in the insightLocal and InsightCloud the Firmware is updated with the current version. The interfaz of this application has problems. It needs a update to fix bugs and issues. Thanks.Version: 3.4.4

Right idea but!!!!Stop working after a couple of days. Screen went totally black. And that’s it. And when it did work it really wasn’t to accurate and not enough info..Version: 3.4.3

One word: UNRELIABLEEverything form The information shown in “live” mode to the information in the “analyze” section and “history” section are completely unreliable. It would be great this company took its customers serious since their products are so expensive.Version: 3.4.3

Odd place for feedbackI wanted to give feedback to the app developers, but their feedback option links to here. So, here goes: I like that I can see my battery charge state and power generation, although I would prefer if it didn’t take up to ten minutes to update (live mode fails). This is what makes the app worth having. Probably the biggest failure of the app is that it graphs “energy” (kWh) per time. Since energy is not an instantaneous value, you know that the graph is fundamentally incorrect. The vertical axis has to be power, but it is clearly not in kW either. My app is currently “refreshing “ (spinning green circle) but my memory suggests that 300 W is recorded as 0.05 kWh so when it says kWh it means kWh/10 min or thereabouts. Another inconvenience is that the graph is for the day running from midnight to midnight. It would be more useful if you could see the past 24 hours..Version: 3.3

Good intention appSame problem here... can’t connect to the gateway through the app. No problem accesing through Insight 2 web page. The app show me an authentication error to the gateway.Version: 2.0.0

Data MissingLove the concept but it doesn’t show all that data available. There is much more data available when you connect directly to your Insight Manager directly. The dashboard doesn’t even show your battery bank voltage. SE makes great products but this one needs a bit of work. Should be able to customize the data you want displayed..Version: 3.4.3

Still needs workThis app still needs lots of work to show relevant information for an off grid user. It it very biased to grid users. It doesn’t show % SOC of the battery without a couple of clicks and it is not graphed at all in the dashboard. It is the main thing you look at to decide if you can uses discretionary loads..Version: 3.4.3

This would be a good place to start a mobile appI have to concur with the majority… it would be nice if this thing worked. It does, however, line up perfectly with Schneider’s customer service group. Matching set..Version: 3.2.1

Absolutely unreliableTo sell something as a connection to a critical energy system (and not a cheap system at all) with the poor reliability this thing has causes more problems than it helps at all. It has been absolutely out all day and their “support” is as reliable…. On hold for 30 to 60 plus minutes each try to only have to give up and the canned replies to emails saying to go the the website (which is a real rabbit hole of dead ends) speaks volumes about how little they care for their customers, they’re the people that have sunk substantial amounts money into their projects and aren’t getting what they paid for.Version: 3.4.3

Not Up To StandardThe apps for trending have not kept up with todays standards and it’s ridiculous that you cannot see trends in kW. Who looks are trends of power generation in 10 min kWh blocks?.Version: 3.3

App needs improvementsThe apps looks good and give you the sensation that will work. But in reality the app crash a lot the information do not update. You can see information that you saw 2 days before. In the other site the web application works excellent. The mobile app will need to refresh the data on realtime. Fix the issue that crash app when you click on the battery, grid or between the menu. I’m giving 2 stars because looks nices, usuabillity and user experience seems to be on rigth place. Me as a user and developer, realtime data and faster communication between DB is one of the key to have a great experience otherwise the app is not worst it. Update: 09/06/2022 Pros: The app looks fresh and user friendly. Cons: The solar power generate and use is not divide. You can se only you are generating X quantity, and sent to power grid same amount and same happend with house consuming. Example: In the web site you can see house solar is generating 890w and received by power company 891w. In the app only you can see is 0.9kw and same amount is distribute in power company and house. Also I believe both web site and app should have same conversion. Both should be Kw..Version: 3.4.3

This app works like we are on the 90’sIt is ridiculous that they haven’t taken this app seriously, specially when to use it you need to buy a very expensive communication box. The biggest problem is the synchronization, although they added a tab for live, the data is not really live, so if you are outside, it is useless to look at this. In addition this lack many functions that could have been incorporated at the time of reviewing the daily power cycle. For what this offer, they should integrate (insighthome) for free in all inverters..Version: 3.4.3

History analytics app version 3.4.4 (2)Several reviews have suggested improved history analytics but in my opinion little has been done to satisfy customer requests. Many reviews listed multiple issues, perhaps baby steps will yield results. I currently show no data from July 2023 to October 2023 in History / Battery Charge for kWh. I’ve one request; change History / Battery Charge from kWh to State of Charge % (SoC%). Perhaps adding a drop-down option so customers can choose between kWh or SoC% would be beneficial..Version: 3.4.4

Serious syncing issuesApp doesn’t sync reliably and data doesn’t refresh. It is clearly an app issue because the insighthome web version works properly. Please fix this finally, the app is worthless if I can’t rely on it to check on my system quickly and reliably. It is also seriously light on features and needs to have features added. It just feels like an early beta that you just started creating. Your app dev team is probably one underpaid employee. You can do better..Version: 3.1.3

No Data*Update: the app is not connected. You may want to add that instead of showing data as unavailable. Worked one day then quit. Every day it shows “Data not available”. There’s no Reset to the app. Pretty worthless if it doesn’t show the info..Version: 3.4.4

Horrid Customer ServiceI bought my first Gateway 2 years ago with intermittent service during that period requiring physical reboots. My off the grid installation is remote and difficult to get to. Calls and emails to Schneider tech service never resolved. Then it quits working all together and zero warranty from Schneider. How can you sell an electronic product for $700 and then. It stand behind it? Forced to purchase another gateway because of the remote location. A very very poor customer experience with no options but to have to continue to do business with them. If you have a choice do not work with this company.Version: 3.4.4

A step in the right directionGood for a quick view of a remote system. Had to set up a user account on the web site ver. first. Also I don’t need to know anything about the grid interactive part of the system installed. Would be great to be able to decide which input to monitor. Maybe in the future version there will be an admin level login and a gen trigger switch..Version: 1.4.1

If I could give 0 I wouldThe app does not function. The “live” option is delayed by many minutes. Although I have experienced no power the event history always shows no events. I can’t get real updates on how much battery I’m using during an outage because it takes a very long time (more than 5 minutes) to update. You call and you get the hold music, you hear a ring then back to hold. It took me over an hour to talk to someone for them to tell me there is nothing they can do and can’t tell me how to find out how much battery life I have in an outage. Complete waste of an app, time and my money. I regret getting this system..Version: 3.4.4

Application needs improvementThis application needs some changes or updates. The data shown from the PV is not correct and why if the house is consuming less that the PV is producing the battery shows that is discharging as well. It looks like a good application but is not showing correct information although I have installed version 3.4.4.(2) and firmware 1.17.Version: 3.4.4

Crappy app but good hardwareIs a shame that Schneider solar product has great hardware and this crappy app. They should put the software engineers to fix it and improve it accordingly with the product. Lack of functionality. But Germans are stingy, liars in many of their products. Same happened with Volkswagen, Lufthansa is the same. Put software engineers to work!!!.Version: 3.4.4

Helps monitoring the system with some shortcomingsAll in all the app is good for monitoring our off grid solar system. The app is generally reliable and you can trust to get the basic info you are after, as long as the setup is done and you go through some extra steps..Version: 3.3.1

Problems with appI'm on current version. Zero stars for the app!!! Too many problems for off grid use! (1-1/2 yrs) I know I can log directly into my unit if I want real time. I get really tired of walking to the garage to physically look at the manual display because that's so much better than your app. That does me absolutely no good when I'm away from home and its critical whether I can add loads or need to remove them. A time stamp would help, but when it's 'just now' for maybe 10 minutes at a time, it leaves me blind. The goal is to reduce loss late afternoon to top off the batteries before sundown. If there was a way to see if the 12V output signal to my panel relay was on or off, that would also make life easier. Is it possible to get a manual describing exactly how reporting to your server works? Maybe just allow us to connect directly to the unit by WiFi instead of going thru your server or having to be home. Seems you threw an app out there and we're left to struggle with it every day. Even direct connect at home is a real pain. It means logging out of my Wi-Fi, then logging into the unit, then going back to WiFi. Is this the best you can do for a product that has so much capability? I've had the same problem as others getting connected to your tech dept and don't always get any answers. I got lucky during initial setup and found an independent tech for $500 who answered some simple questions that your tech dept should have easily supplied. At this point, I'm about to start researching other brands and just eat the loss on your equipment simply because of the lack of a decent app or a decent tech support. Please don't leave a fluff reply, give me something of a solution. When all software is current, there are no excuses or 'try this' ways to correct it. The ball is in your court, do you want our business or not? I hate to switch to different equipment when the basic inverter is SO good, but if something is not done, I'll eat the $5K loss and move on..Version: 3.4.4

UselessUseless app, it supposed to monitor your system in real time but isn’t, the only use for the insight home is for updates, other than this. Too expensive for the operation.Version: 3.4.4

Nice app but…The app works fine but it is missing an important component, the battery charge level..Version: 3.4.4

Limited functionalityThis app has such a small subset of the functionality of the InsightLocal interface that it’s pretty much useless. No ability to drill down to the individual devices for status. I have only the Gateway, XW6848 Inverter, and AGS so I can’t tell anything about state of charge from voltage levels, or whether power flow is from the battery or the solar panels. They could do much more with this app to make it useful. Not worth taking up memory on my phone the way it is..Version: 3.4.4

Just not there…Little things like the graphics not fitting on my iPhone SE screen. Inability to get alerts or notifications when solar production cuts-out or the generator kicks-in. Would be lovely if the app was just for quick system checks but there was a web interface to go deeper..Version: 3.4.4

Broken Solar Power Generation GraphsThis program is now broken. The cloud is not returning the correct data to display solar power generation for any month or year. It correctly displays the data for any single day. It displays nothing if you select the current month or any previous month or year. This problem also exists in the browser computer interface for InsightCloud. The management needs to fix the server that is providing the data to the mobile and computer platforms..Version: 3.4.4

Not good for timely monitoringThis should be a great idea however, I can’t get any information until six minutes later and sometimes longer. I insisted on a display with my installer, but it turns out Schneider stopped selling them, which was a big mistake. It seems to be the only way to get real time information. I was advised that I could purchase another name brand monitor. It will cost me $1000. Schneiders was apparently $600 when I got my system installed but they were suddenly no longer available. After spending $30,000 on my system I’m not very happy about this. I have tried to call and rarely get through. If I do get through, I leave a message and don’t get a call back. I feel kind of sick after spending that kind of money and not being able to monitor my system properly. What really amazes me is the lack of response to resolve the problem. I am absolutely sure that I’m not the only one.Version: 3.4.4

Service unavailableThis is new: service unavailable appears since a few days ago ! Combine that with slooowww updates, if any, graphing energy instead of power, real time data not so real!!! Well thanks it is the latest version 3.3.1(19) Update: service unavailable again with latest update 3.4.3 !!! Please be serious.Version: 3.4.3
