Crashing after last updateThe app is amazing. However, it’s crashing after the last update, app doesn’t open at all. It’s really frustrating because I rely heavily on the app for my trainings. Also, the fact that I can’t see upcoming training days in details is bad in these situations where I don’t know my next workouts and I can’t open the app at all. Changing the gameAbsolute game changer. The developer did an outstanding job meshing the training ideologies of Boris himself with the data capabilities of a smart app (as well as a great user experience). The biggest pro for this app is how closely tied the developer is with the users’ feedback. He takes the time to respond meaningfully to multiple posts daily to the forum pages, which gives the users a better understanding of the app AND means that each version is better than the next. Pricing is beyond fair. And not gonna give away any spoilers but BIG THINGS ARE COMING with Sheiko Gold! Only caveat is that this is an app for powerlifters or for individuals looking to train squat, bench, and deadlift. This is very clear from the app description. Use Robert’s other app, Strongur, for other lifting related goals..Version: 1.1.0

It's a great app exceptLoving the app so far. Only thing that I didn't like is that I was in the middle of Sheiko AML to use for observation time. In fact I have 16 days of observation. Before subscribing was able to pick the AML template but after you subscribe you have to manually put it in. I intend to use sheiko for AI after the template is run but hate having to put the AML in manually. Also would love to be able for the timer to run even after you dismiss and also that after the last set you could see what the next exercise is. It just says. Next exercise. Edit: I see that you updated that. Thanks for listening to your consumers. It would be good if the timer started right when you clicked the new weight though during rpe screen. I have pressed it but not chosen rpe and then when I do the timer starts. Minor detail. Also if you could be able to go in and out of the recovery screen and have that timer independent of that screen that would be good too. update 10/22/2021 - Still a great app , would hope that you could see what workout will be next before choosing Sheiko AI workout as well. In the regular Sheiko app you can see a preview of what your next workout is going to be without opening the training section. Edit: love the updates , small request. Amazing app and more amazing devThis is truly one of the best fitness apps that Ive used and if you are into powerlifting you owe it to yourself to at least give this a shot. Sheiko is one of the few training methodologies I had yet to try and the results so far have been phenomenal. I feel like the app is pushing me just hard enough to make progress but not too hard that I burn out and injure myself. I always leave the gym feeling accomplished. The developer is quite possibly one of the best around. Always active on the Facebook group and pretty much pushing out weekly updates for bug fixes and new features. During the observation period Boris would chime in to advise load changes, or even give me a complete routine - until today, when I updated the app. Those features have been removed it appears. Really usefulI have been getting back into powerlifting after a 25 year hiatus. Unfortunately, the program I was using back then (H/L DUP) is no longer tenable. Obviously now that I’m much older my recovery is not what it used to be. I have been trying all sorts of programs, varying the intensity and volumes, but always ending up feeling either underdone or overtrained. I had used the regular Sheiko programs before and got some reasonable results before burning out. I find the Sheiko Gold more responsive to my daily situation (work, family, stress etc) and it allows me to train consistently while making strength gains..Version: 1.17.4

Easily the best training app I’ve usedI really love this app. Quick background, I’m an amateur power lifter who was looking for a program that adjusted for me and was easy to use. I was already familiar with the Sheiko style of programming (focus on the big lifts in the 65%-85% range with frequent training) so gravitate to this app. I’ve used it for two months now. The first month is an observation period where you enter what you’re already doing and it learns from you. Once that is through then it programs for you. It will adjust mid session if things are too hard or too easy so each time you train it’s based off how you are feeling. The app is well done and is really simple to use. Besides giving you your daily training it will track your readiness and fatigue level. It’s simple to use and very intuitive. It’s continually updated and you can tell that the author really cares about it. Highly recommended..Version: 1.2.7

The best program I've ever usedI've tried many programs over the last five years but none compare even close to this. On other programs, I always ended up overtraining and either hit previous plateaus like a brick wall or get minor injuries setting me back. However, the Sheiko program is different. I was afraid it would result in overtraining again because of the high volume and frequency. But this never happened because it’s AI keeps you two or three reps away from failure. It also monitors your recovery and will add or remove workload accordingly. This has stopped me from overtraining whilst working hard enough to make gains. I got a bench press PB just before the gyms got closed and my squat and deadlift we're feeling strong. Unfortunately, it was not possible to test those before COVID-19 brought the lockdown. Although I have not used all the training stages yet, I'm confident they will work great. I couldn't recommend this App more highly. It's been very reliable and is updated frequently. So far, I've subscribed for six months but intend to take out the lifetime option next. Even if you put your own program in, the recovery monitor is invaluable..Version: 1.0.23

My schedule varies and so following a rigid, x-day per week program where you get everything a week or a month ahead of time just doesn’t work, or works poorly at best. Really good all roundApp is great for getting a good program. My lifts have spiked in this last month alone. Some thing can be improved in this app such as seeing what’s left in your workout while in the rest period and stopping the AI from moving the weight down when i want to do a set of really heavy all out lifts. Really good, just a few adjustments imoI really like this app a lot, was my first dive into anything sheiko related as I previously stuck to Jim Wendler’s 5/3/1 for a long time. I have seen really good improvements with this app in terms of my maxes, but to be honest I hated the peak. It seemed tough to be programmed 80-100% of my 1RM 2 weeks before comp, and it didn’t seem too helpful in actually making me peak but this could just be me. If I were to fix anything at all, it would be the peak phase. Other than that, the only other thing I would fix is to look at the amount of weight I’ll be doing later in the day without starting the timer for the workout. This app has been great for upping my numbers though! I seriously love it, was just a little disappointed in the peak phase but that’s something that can be easily fixed by yourself if you know your body or have done your reading on how to peak.
