Pocket GM 20: Football Manager for Positive User Reviews

Must have!Excellent game, well worth it.Version: 1.0

Best Football Sim Out ThereI have been looking for a Football Sim for a long time and finally found one worth keeping! I would like to see one thing though that is not available...I would like to see the ability to take over another team somewhere down the line within the same sim so that your GM stats stay intact but you get to take on a fresh team and take them to the promise land as well..Version: 1.3.2

Amazing StartI own every sim there is on iOS, and none have been this complete upon release. There is plenty of room for improvement but I am enjoying it quite a bit. I have noticed quite a few suggestions and I don’t disagree with most of them, more content would be amazing, maybe the ability to customize some stuff (ie team names, players etc.). The only real issues I have seen so far are as follows: not sure if it’s a bug or not, but I seem to constantly lose to winless teams.. when I’m 5-2 and the opponent is 0-7, or 9-3 v 0-12 and I’m higher statistically, I tend to always lose this should be cupcake matchup. Also, maintaining the salary cap can be difficult at times, due to the nature of a larger (53 man) roster and no true breakdown of the cap without scrolling and literally writing them down. Overall I am extremely pleased with this app and as others have stated, it is a great game that fills the need in the manager genre. Baseball and basketball would great also (would purchase without second thought)..Version: 1.2.1

ZOMG!!People this game is a ton of fun! I don’t even like American football haha. If you make more sports games like this I would definitely purchase them just to further support you! Basketball next?? :) hockey, baseball, rugby, quidditch, soccer, boxing, cycling, esports MOBA, esports FPS, golf if that can even be fun, then go college themed, I’m sure I’m missing some sports, but you get the idea. In fact hire me and let’s blow this up to full time and make it a moderately good living making games together hahaha. Excellent product and fun..Version: 1.3.2

Awesome!Love the game and everything about it! One bug I’ve noticed you cant initiate a trade after clicking on teams draft picks that are on the trade block and can’t put your own picks up for grabs! Another is a mode where salary cap is off after all is a video game sometimes building the god squad can be fun! Coach’s too need more variety I seem to never get a hybrid zone def cor. But always get the others maybe just some more schemes would be cool. But the coach’s is nit picky, Awesome game and love it can’t wait to see the additions to come.Version: 1.3.1

Very promisingI anticipate a lot in the future from this game. Being that it only recently came out, I find it very well done, with great in-game features like being able to watch the game, see a players skill traits, and being able to hire/fire coaches. That said, I think future additions could really polish this game and make it more immersive; 1. While there is a ‘records’ page, adding a hall of fame would add a bit of world-building-feel to the game. 2. Ability to see who the ‘Champions’ lost to. 3. Player rewards such as MVP, DPOY, ROTY, etc. 4. A scouting combine (or more scouting stats). While the rating system suffices, I feel that it diminishes later round picks. While I’m not saying it should be easy to find late round steals, having the occasional would be great. 5. Further coach characteristics besides the offense and defense they run (I.e. strict and/or players coach) Ultimately, this game is great though. I’m extremely excited to see what comes in the future! Great job..Version: 1.2.1

Really Great GameThis game is amazing. Can you please make a NBA game just like this one? Some feedback for the game though. You should be able to leave the team that you are currently on and go sign with a different team in the same franchise. That would make it more exciting because if you do really bad then you can get fired and go sign with a different team. A really good game overall though..Version: 1.3.2

Great game + suggestionsI love team management sims and this is the best football one I’ve found. Really fun to manage a team year over year, and you’re forced to make tough decisions with the realistic cap management system. Great job! I also wanted to add some suggestions for future updates: 1) More stats. Part of the fun of dynasty and team management games is to track your players among league leaders each season and all time. A big part of the replay value for me is trying to draft and keep a player who can break records (like career passing TDs, etc). 2) More realistic defensive stats. These seem particularly depressed. It’s common to have a star DE who has like 2 sacks in a season. 3) More pronounced career progression. A lot of guys who are drafted high don’t improve at all over the course of their careers (or only change by a point or two), which I don’t think is super common in real life. I think it’s tied to the work ethic grade, but it makes it less exciting to draft young players with pretty limited variation. It also means there are very few players in the game who ever achieve a rating in the 90s. More movement in general makes it more fun and unpredictable. 4) minor, but there could be easier navigation around trade. Would be helpful to see someone’s trade capital on their player profile, and there could also be a button within the draft to try to trade for a pick instead of going through a bunch of screens to try to trade with that team..Version: 1.3.1

Absolutely the best Football Sim on the marketThis game is just SO close to perfect, things that I would suggest to add would be player personality traits/ scenarios off the field. Trading in my opinion needs to be tweaked, or instead of a this thing is worth this many points, make it so they would accept a trade if they needed a certain position of player, or they got rid of there 1st round they ick so they need a new one. My BIGGEST request would be to be able to change players names. But other than that this game is almost perfect..Version: 1.3.0

Very impressed!Honestly, I was a bit skeptical when I first downloaded the game... but I can say that it is a great game and very addicting! I love that they update the rosters so frequently so you can play out different scenarios. I do wish it could be slightly even more realistic than it already is and have you start your game with free agency/draft since new GM’s are usually hired before a season starts. I don’t like having to go through a whole season first prior to drafting the first time. I also would love to see them keep track of your overall record as GM. All in all, this app and game are beyond worth the money and I haven’t found a single game as good as this one for the concept!!.Version: 1.3.0

Lovely little game for the priceAlmost exactly what I was looking for in a iOS football sim. Intuitive interface, nice game view and good overall simulation with player development handled nicely. This is absolutely worth the low price and I have already got a good number of hours play out of it. Edit: I listed some suggestions here but switched them to the subreddit... this game still has a few small issues but the developer is working on them and continues to improve this gem!.Version: 1.2.1

Freakin FootballThis is by far the best football game on a mobile device, I don’t know what can compete with it. A college version of this or MLB would be awesome as well...just some idea’s. But also if we could edit the players names and numbers, also if there was a trade have the “media” cover it, maybe after the offseason have the newspaper cover what happen to each or just your team in an article. This game is awesome but these would be awesome touches as well..Version: 1.3.4

Fun, realistic, and addictingI love this game! It’s immersive, and doesn’t coddle you. You have to make tough decisions regarding who you’ll keep/cut/trade, and it won’t just hand out 16 wins every season, which makes it more competitive and fun. That being said, I don’t like how little teams value their future picks. A first from a bad team next year could be worth like 1/2-1/3 of one of a decent team this year. Eventually, you can rack up a bunch of first round picks, and it kind of feels unfair. Also, there isn’t enough salary cap space to accommodate them (which is ok on its own, as people don’t want unlimited space to make the game too easy) when you do draft them. I’m all for a few teams maybe throwing around their picks, but when it’s half the league, and they’re all fine with giving you a first an a second for your 83 safety with only a year left on his deal, the game kind of feels unfair. Other than that, fantastic game!.Version: 1.3.0

Good game but a few things need to be addedI have played almost every sim football game out there and this is so far the best, most realistic one. The only thing is, there are several things left out. First of all it would be cool if we could see players stats in previous years before we start and what team they were drafted by. It would also be cool if we could customize our players and change their names and ratings and maybe even see what college a player went to. Also it would be great if there was player personality’s. Maybe some players have a mean sort of personality and don’t get along with others on the team. Maybe others are just looking for money, and maybe some players are looking to win or stay loyal to a team. Maybe others are looking for playing time and might demand a trade or won’t resign with you. That would be very realistic. Also to increase the realism maybe if your team is up big at the end of a game maybe they sub in the backups. Team morale could also effect whether your team goes up or down overalls based on how good your team is doing. Anyway, hope you have a good day and bye..Version: 1.3.2

No depthGreat addictive game.. would be awsome to see a HOF feature and a club HOF to remeber the greatest players. And maybe to see some of the best players come back as coaches ? My only real issue is that it seems like just about every draft the top 10 players seem to be defensive , it’s very rare to see a QB, RB or WR to be a top prospect and it’s really not accurate.. offensive players are usually the top prospects.. and it’s also extreamly difficult to retain top players.. especially QB if you want to have a good QB amd afford tin keep him all nearly all your other players will be cheap trash. Also if we could see the draft players before the end of the year so we can plan accordingly on who we can go for Other then that great game :).Version: 1.3.1

Great gameReally good game, runs perfectly without any issues or glitches. The interface is fantastic, very simple and clean - easy to use. Not being a huge NFL fan, I’ve still been able to play the game easily without confusion. The only thing I would like to see added would be when your going to make a trade, under the player section it comes up in the same format as the team section (eg. Players in there position and by rating). It can become quite repetitive in the end, but excited to see what update will be added. I would absolutely love to see an NBA version of this game!!!.Version: 1.3.0

This Game is Really GoodThis game is so incredible in lots of ways and I’m so happy somebody though of this idea. I have noticed that this game has some issues with saving. Sometimes I’ll be in the middle of a game and if I leave and my phone cuts of for any reason all my progress is lost. Same thing with trades. Also you should have the option of letting the game go through free agency and re signing for you because everybody that plays this game is not a real life general manager and sometimes it’s hard to do the right things and make the right moves in free agency which causes the team to suffer which makes the game way less fun. Those are just a few little things that I don’t like about the game. I do have a couple of request though. One is that we should be able to watch other teams play as well. Like with the Super Bowl. I wanna be able to see what goes on. Also a player creation mode would be really cool or if you could edit the players. Also you should be able to be more than just one team so you can do cool stuff like simulation leagues. And also PLEASE MAKE A NBA GAME LIKE THIS. But anyways this game is really good and much love to the creators..Version: 1.3.0

Great game with potential but needs some polishingLove what I’ve seen so far, but there are some unsettling things that I’ve noticed. First, injuries are ridiculously high. I’m in my second season with Miami just doing a rebuild, and within a 5 week span I had at least 7 players go down to injuries two of which happened in one game. Second, trading values are extremely hard to gauge as some I feel over value the player immensely. An 82 overall normal dev player shouldn’t be worth 4 or five 70 overall players plus a pick but that’s what I end up having to do if I want to get the deal done. Other than those two things it is a good pastime game and easy to get sucked into..Version: 1.2.6

Could you make the flip screen a optionCould you make it so we could flip the phone around to make it bigger or when I got my earbuds in while laying down this game is great just need a couple more things like a dark mode and the new nfl playoff format I think they added one team in more team in the playoffs for each conference also add news and last I feel like qbs should have a little bit of higher but just fix it a little I’m not trying to make it where qbs are just overpowered in value ight👍🏼 oh and also some times the reorder dep chart don’t work plus add the the ability to change a player position like a tight end to wide receiver nothing crazy like moving a qb to rb also could you increase the cap.Version: 1.3.0

This is the best NFL games out thereThis game is the best I have played ever and I like to be a football manager you play less then a dollar and get to take ur team to the super bowl with ur own players and coaching staff you choose all I would say that I want more of is MORE MODES because I am so hooked on this game this is the best time to play when you have nothing to do when ur at home or anywhere.Version: 1.3.2

UPDATED: good but has potential to be amazingThe game is fun as is but there is not enough to it... Things that have to be added -Coach stats not just playstyle -Player styles ex: QB-West coast off CB- Man defense Style -Ability to trade players -Option to start players above one another New review so turns out there is trading lol its just harder to find but i’ve gathered some more ideas while playing the game more Things you should add -Season awards: Coach of the season, MVP, Rookie of the year -Pro Bowl/ Pro Bowl voting -Hall of fame selections -Rookie scouting -Training camps so that players with quick/super dev can develop quicker *the dev system is kind of flawed because my super dev players aren’t getting any better This game has A LOT of potential as i said and it’s a really fun game but i’d love to see more added to it to make it an amazing game.Version: 1.0

Problem is updateThis is a great game, but update forces you to keep over $100 million in cap space for rookies, so you can’t resign any players. This must be an error. The rest of the update is excellent. I love playing, so hope to see it resolved soon. Game could also use a hall of fame and and weekly updates on who is in the lead for player of the year, all pro, and all conference. Lastly, it seems like it won’t allow my o-linemen to get awards. Seems like a glitch, and this has been there since before the recent update..Version: 1.3.2

2nd Quarter LogicLike the new additions, but can we get changes to end of 2nd quarter logic? Teams are within field goal range and “go for it” while the clock expires instead of putting 3 points on the board when they’re 25 yards out..Version: 1.2.3

OtherGreat game possibly get a baseball version?.Version: 1.2.6

Amazing gameI absolutely love this game. A few things I would add to make it a little better would be your teams all time leader in passing, rushing, receiving, sacks, ints etc. also when you go and look at the leaderboard for the “all time” rusher, receiver, passer you don’t get to see who that player actually played for which would be cool to see. So like it will say “Charles Webb all time 82,000 yards” but it doesn’t say what teams he played for. I’d also love to see more coach variety rather than 3 offensive schemes and 3 defensive schemes. Overall this is one of the best GM games I’ve ever played. If you like franchise mode in madden you’ll love this game. What I said above are just recommendations that I think would make the game have some more depth..Version: 1.3.0

Good Simulation gameI love pretty much everything in the game, I love the development of players and drafting. A couple suggestions to make this a 5 star game. The main problem is the AI does not understand the game situation, it won’t kick field goals to win the game late or chew clock. Also if we could see player history, like what team they were on in the past, maybe some sort of all-pro or pro bowl feature would also be really nice.Version: 1.2.1

Fun - Load time is a problemI really enjoy playing this game but find it frustrating how long it seems to take to transition from one week to another. It would be great if, somehow, the load time was cut in half, or reduced significantly. Navigating between positions, during free agency and the draft, is really cumbersome. Improving that would a long way too. It would be great if I could simulate multiple weeks at once and the playoffs if I don’t make it/are eliminated. It would also be nice if the career stats tab on the player screen had a row at the bottom that summed up the stats. I would like to see how many yards by receiver has in their career (etc.). Overall, the game is a lot of fun and is well made. Keep up the good work!! I personally know how challenging making a sports game is..Version: 1.3.0

Room for improvementI’m assuming this is a new game, and so far i’m really enjoying being able to rebuild a bad team and win a championship! However for a game that isn’t free, I feel that there is much more depth required. (more control over gameplan, more staff positions to hire/fire, player interactions, team facilities, player development, etc) keep up the good work! Hoping to see big things from this game!.Version: 1.1

Best iOS gm gameThis is the best gm game on iOS easy to play and very addictive.Version: 1.3.2

Good startLooks good to start with it would be great if the stats were more substantial so you can see top 10 all time in each position and their careers, teams etc. A player edit option would be great too..Version: 1.1

Great gameReally enjoyable game. I think there should be longer simulation periods, maybe 3 games/half the season for longer team builds..Version: 1.3.0

Almost perfectThis is as good a GM sim as there could be. Would love however to see a little more in the way of trade logic with values based on need (my back up QB with a 78 rating is worth as much to a team with a 99 QB as he is to a team who’s best QB is rated 73) although I understand how difficult that is to manufacture and how big that would make the game. Secondly I’d love to see more emphasis on coach ability and scheme - for example 49ers and Ravens both have “smashmouth” run heavy offences, but are designed on totally different things, Ravens being reliant on athleticism and their O-line as opposed to SF being based on route running and scheming players open. If we could see more diversity in coaching systems, that would be a massive value add. I’d be happy to pay another $2/3 at least for additions like this to create a sim as in-depth as say motorsport manager is for F1.Version: 1.2.6

Great game with great developer supportFirst of all, the game is one of the most addicting there is. I find myself enthralled with my GM position of a team for hours at a time. Once I start, I’m not putting my phone down for at least another hour. There’s definitely room to improve the application (CPU trading, stat calculations, weekly/annual awards, etc.) but the game is already well worth its 0.99 USD price tag as it is. The developer really cares about the community surrounding their application, going so far as to start his own subreddit, r/PocketGM, for people to submit bug reports and future suggestions for the dev to include. Overall I love the game and the community surrounding it and I can never seem to wait for the newest update! If I could rate it more than 5 stars, I would..Version: 1.2.4

Best GM everWowww do one for basket hockey and soccer and for baseball i’ll buy everything need those plz.Version: 1.3.1

Great game, but need to fix CoachesI love this game. It’s entertaining and keeps you occupied for hours on end. My only complaint so far after about a week of playing it is that the coaching system is just off. Every coach is the same except for their schemes. That just doesn’t make any sense in my opinion. In the NFL every coach is different and has strengths and weaknesses and some coaches are better than others; and the same should be the case for this game. Coaches should have ratings just like the players, that way if your team is underperforming you can choose to fire your coach in exchange for a better one. Other than that I love the game..Version: 1.3.0

Anytime I’m going for a record my players seem to chokeIt seems like something is keeping things “in check” per se. I’m not sure of the simulation engine but i’ve played hundreds of seasons and have found this to be very consistent. I’ve had teams in the mid 90s overall and still only hold a couple league records. Only a few champs bowls as well. It seems like whatever is keeping this game “challenging” is also making it unrewarding once you do achieve dominance. It’s frustrating to go all in with my cap space on a season because my team is so good just to start 12-0, drop 4 of the last 5 and lose in the champs bowl. It happens literally every other season almost. I know it’s supposed to be challenging but what about when I beat the challenge? Is it just not possible to achieve league dominance then simply due to the randomness of the simulation? I have yet to win more than 4 champ bowls in a decade even though I retain the same roster the whole time. It’s just too random but otherwise it’s an enjoyable waste of time. I understand an 84-85 overall dropping a game here and there, but my 90+ overall teams play no differently!.Version: 1.3.4

Great start, but salary cap is quite low.I’ve played this game for quite some time now, and I love it. It’s great for passing time when you have a few hours to kill. My only problem is the salary cap. Every year I always run into problems with my team being above the cap and the cap being too low, and this season I just lost my star DE because I couldn’t afford him. I suggest you give us an option to either set it wherever we want before you start a new game or have the option to turn it off entirely, because I’m tired of going over every single year..Version: 1.3.2

Love the game, but a few tweaks to how stats are shown would be niceLike I said, this game is awesome. I’ve yet to find anything like it in the App Store, and my suggestions are mainly just nit-picky stuff in terms to how to stats are visualized to increase immersion. It’d be really cool to see the name of the team next to career stats, as opposed to just the year and then the stats, so you can see the career trajectory in terms of teams when it comes to players. Whether you’re signing them in free agency or looking to trade, it would be nice for immersion (Madden stopped doing this a few years ago too, super annoying imo). Additionally, it would be nice to separate regular season stats and playoff stats, because without that the stats start to become really bloated and unrealistic when you’re looking back at the career of a player. That’s it, other than that this game is top notch. Thanks Devs!!.Version: 1.2.5

Better than MaddenAbsolutely great game, more in-depth GM features than any other game I’ve found apart from maybe NFL Head Coach (which EA stopped making). You’ve done a great job..Version: 1.3.4

Great start and huge potentialI was shocked to stumble upon this game. It’s really great as is. With time this could really flesh out to something really special. Pros: Fast and responsive Nice UI Great imagery Good team building Trade point system is good Potential for growth: There should be more risk with contract offers. If you meet the expected offer then it always works. Seems to make it so high rated players never hit FA. The simulation QB stats seem way high. One QB tossed 69 touchdowns. Sack numbers seem really low. These are the two biggest for me. If the sim stats could be toned back a bit at QB and allow for higher rated players hit FA and a bit more struggle with contract negotiations. Can wait to see were this goes from here! Update: This game is amazing. The feedback to the dev is heard and the Reddit group is amazing. The game has evolved so much in just a couple of months. Well worth the money. I almost feel bad for how cheap it is and how much I play it..Version: 1.2.6

A cool gameThis game is pretty cool. I really like the way you show the skills of the players. It goes more in depth than I thought. I thought this game would just be the typical oh draft someone they might or might not be good, “sign” other players and either you go to the championship or you don’t. But it’s more than that in terms of finances and picks and that you can trade players. I think my biggest things to recommend are 1. Allow for a side by side comparison of players. For example, I like looking at how a running back overall and skill set compares to another running back to help me determine which one is better or if I need to make a trade. 2. Having other teams come to you for a trade would be pretty cool. Being the one to initiate the trade every time is fine, but just would add some cool depth to the game if the AI came to you also. Keep up the great work! I just got here, but I can tell other people really like it and that you take their criticism or advice to heart. Awesome!.Version: 1.1

Best Football GM Game outGame plays great and harks back to the old days of playing FPS Football Pro ‘98. There are a few changes however that I would love to see implemented. 1. Being able to decide who starts sometimes I would like to start a younger player with slightly lower stats to the older counterpart. 2. Towards the end of games I also notice that my team may be down by 2 or 3 points and be well within files goal range but a play is still run like a normal 2nd and 5 or whatever. Dunno how hard it would be to fix, But that would be much appreciated. 3. It would also be nice to have the starts randomized a bit. This may be a personal problem but I just can’t get myself to not play as the browns which means every new game I play I get the same players and start. 4. Having set colors for each team may be a nice addition too. Cause every once in a while I catch myself watching the red team when I’m the blue team..Version: 1.2.3

Additions for future Updates1 major thing I found that should be changed is if I don’t have picks going to the draft and look to resign players because I have money left the game won’t let me by saying I need to save $15 mil for rookies if I do have picks that’s understandable but I traded them all away even future ones and still got the same response. Another thing is allowing teams to go past the cap room because at times teams in the NFL do go over the salary cap to get or resign players they want. Box Scores is another huge thing it makes it quicker than selecting each player individually. I love the trading system in the game the only thing needed to add to make it more interesting is the ability to do 3 team trades. Going deeper into coaching schemes could also help establish which teams offense or defense works better against others and adding more variety rather than everyone having the same offense and defense. Also add coach age, accolades, W-L records, and history to see who is more qualified for a job. Also a little thing could be assigning 3 offensive and 3 defensive captains to highlight key players on a team..Version: 1.1

My Favorite GameI don’t typically do reviews, but for this game, I had to. I’ve been playing for a few months now, and I’ve mastered the game. It’s the best sim sports game you can play, and it’s cheap. There are three changes I would make to the game to make it even better. Immersion is key with sim games.. we aren’t actually playing, but we wanna feel like we are a part of the teams story. 1. I would make draft/league stories. Make a few lil stories, even if they repeat every couple years, talking about this player winning the heisman, or that player being injury prone. Or a specific player wants to play for a new team. 2. I think it’s a little too easy to draft, maybe make the scouts sometimes fail depending on their level, and you’ll have some busts. 3. I think editing players, names, coaches, teams, jerseys. and colors would be awesome. Maybe add customizable “names” so that we could change it in game so you wouldn’t be held accountable. Just some feedback, love y’all!.Version: 1.3.2

Best sim on the marketI imagine this was already a great game at launch, but the updates and enhancements so far make this game the best of its kind. The sim engine will only get more realistic as the game gets updated, but it is already the most realistic in terms of stats. I almost feel like I’m stealing it at its 99 cent price point. One suggestion I have is to allow team names to be edited beyond the abbreviations so players can actually label their teams the “Patriots” or the “Buccaneers” free of any copyright controversy. Keep up the good work..Version: 1.3.1

Better than MaddenI’m a huge fan of GM type sports games, and have been looking for a great football sim for years. I finally found it, on my phone of all places. For a mobile game it has a pretty solid football features. Salary cap, HOF, contracts, free agents, draft, and more. Since I’ve downloaded it they’ve updated it a few times with new features, which is awesome. Seriously, skip Madden and just buy this. You’ll save money and disappointment..Version: 1.3.2

Just an ideaThis is by far the best game I’ve played, saying that I’d really like to see a basketball version. Also I’d like to see more in terms of the draft and players, like possibly a team chemistry type of thing or maybe certain players improve in a certain offense while some regress. Frankly I think developing players need to be better. I’ve seen people say other things that I’d also agree but either way it’s a great game..Version: 1.3.1

Where’d you go??The once a month updates were amazing, but it’s been half a year. Do you think the games perfected??.Version: 1.3.2

My wish list for this genius football sim masterpieceFirst & foremost, thank you for creating this game. You have saved my sanity during the COVID-19 quarantine epidemic. Secondly, I would like to share my wishlist 1.Salary cap increase annual basis (1%-2%) 2. During the draft you can see all the draft picks for your team. (You currently have to exit the draft and go to the trade screen to see all of the picks your team has) 3. Player morale indicator- affects the chances of resigning at the end of contract or requesting a trade 4. Accurate development 5. Ability to award captain patches 6. Draft reports on draft prospects. 7. Injury prone icon for the fragile players. 8. Ability to see the players who will be in the upcoming draft during the regular season. I would like to know if should tank the season for a good draft pick or trade away and stack up draft picks for a better draft class in the following year. Lastly, Can you please make a basketball and baseball GM game. It would be an honor to open my wallet and throw money at you for adding #s 1-8 on my wish list as well as blessing us with a baseball and basketball GM sim..Version: 1.3.0

Love It!My brother and I still simulate Madden 2003 seasons together (my all-time favorite football sim) and this is the closest thing i’ve found to it in app form. Really love how each player is assigned a value based on their age/skill/position combo. Makes trading waaaay easier as opposed to trying every combo hoping for an “accept”. Also dig how each player has a development speed. Couple things i would love to see in the next iteration: 1, Ability to sim through a season with a friend using the same phone (basically just add functionality to control multiple teams at once so that you can pass the phone back and forth). My brother and i would play this all the time if this was added (taking turns at signing the best free agents to keep things fair) 2. Ability to view all league players in a single table that is sortable by things like salary, age, overall, development speed. Would make finding trade targets way easier. 3. Ability to switch injuries off. I know they’re realistic but when you put a ton of time into crafting your team, it’s real frustrating to lose your best guy for the season. It’s hard enough winning without injuries and if no team has injuries, it’s all the same anyway minus the potential frustration. 4. Summary of your players’ progressions at the end if the season so you don’t have to tap into each one individually. 5. Option to not view a play by play of the game simulations. (One-tap simulation).Version: 1.0

Great potential but needs more explanationReally enjoying the game format but can’t work out the ratings at all. My starting Offence averages 81 and my Defence 84 but the ratings are both shown as 75 and I’m getting walked over!.Version: 1.3.1

Amazing gameEasily my favorite game on the whole appstore. the only addition i’d add is more info on the players, like do a player type so it’s easier to build a good scheme that suits the coaches. and add weight and height. easier to understand attributes would be cool too. another cool idea would be to make a nba version of this game. i’d pay to download that too..Version: 1.3.2

A great start to be built uponThis is exactly the game I was looking for, giving you the chance to draft and develop players whilst managing the budget. It’s addictive, but starts to suffer when you’re a few seasons in as at present, you can’t see forecasts of next seasons budget, so you very easily get stuck having to make major cuts to be able to continue financially. Can’t wait for updates to come to improve what’s a really fun game though..Version: 1.3.0

Very AddictiveUnique football management game that is very addictive, challenging and rewarding. Great work by the developer and wish he could design a rugby league or union type of game. Thanks.Version: 1.3.2

The Best App EverThis game is outstanding. I can’t put my phone down as this game is extremely addictive. The developer is constantly adding updates and is always looking for ways to improve gameplay. Some may disagree with my next comment but I will say in all honesty that I haven’t had any desire to play Madden since I downloaded Pocket GM. One request that I have is that the player’s college be added to their profile. In conclusion this game is a football fan’s dream come true. Download Pocket GM today!!.Version: 1.3.2

Awesome game but,I got a trade offer for someone on my trade block, and when I click on it to see more details and accept it it says the other team isn’t interested anymore even though they offered me the trade. Anyways this game is awesome and currently my favorite game to play on the App Store. I love the amount of details you guys put in, hoping you can address that issue in the next update..Version: 1.3.2

Amazing Game- Would love to see more FeaturesI love everything about the game! However, I was wondering if you could have more of an in-depth stat system? It would be nice to see the stats of your franchise leaders for passing, running, receiving, defensive, and kicking so you know who your best all time players were. It would also be awesome to have a Hall of Fame to see the leagues all-time best players! It would also be pretty fun to have the option to retire the jersey of retired players so you can honor your franchise’s best players. I definitely feel like these features would enhance my game playing experience!.Version: 1.2.6

Love the game and conceptMaking it simple and easy to play during my downtime and particularly like the game speed feature. The slider of down and distance is awesome too..Version: 1.0

Great start, much needed game typeOne suggestion in addition to what others have posted: player contract valuations are too skewed. For example, I had a sim where a 28 year old 99-rated QB was left unsigned for years because he wanted too much money. That should never happen. The dollars demanded should better sync up with value provided; for example, you could take the best 53x32 players, subtract out cap holds for draft picks / those on rookie contracts, then allocate the remainder for salary demands based on skill level. That way l, as the mix of player skills at each position changes as players improve/decline, the salary demands adjust as well..Version: 1.0

Awesome Game! This game is already really awesome and has so much more potential if you add a couple of items to the game would be awesome. 1: Scouting: during the season could you add a scouting section for upcoming draft picks so we can see the overall’s, possibly something similar to a certain point system, a certain amount of points each week can be allowed to use on the draft picks. 2: Player Progression: I would really like to see a part of the screen where we could progress the players. It seems like the First round picks hardly progress at all in the game. 3: Coaching Staff: Have position coaches for each position plus a scouting team. 4: Overall’s for the coaching staff: Would like to see more in the coaching staff to where you can see how they impact the game with there overall’s and to also progress them each season to improve there abilities..Version: 1.3.2

WowHonestly been looking for a game like this forever! It’s a great start. 2 major changes I would like to see sooner than others. 1) option to sort players by contract length so I can see who is expiring during the season without clicking on each player individually. 2) option to start a rookie who has a lower rating over a vet with a expiring contract who I am not going to resign. Some additional feedback: A game log that breaks down stats would be nice as well. Especially to know how many drops a WR has had and so on. Player stats for the entire league to see where your player ranks. Ability to start a franchise with bad players so I can build a championship team. I could go on but I’ll leave it there. This game has endless potential! Add a donate button as you update it ;) Update to 5 stars. Listening to all the feedback and making some great changes. So excited for this games future..Version: 1.1

Great Game! This is I would say the best GM game in the App Store right now. It is very in depth and the newest update is great. There is one bug I found with the new trade block, which is not being able to select draft picks to trade for. I would also suggest adding animations for when a team scores a touchdown or field goal, to make the watch game feature even better. I would totally recommend this game, keep up the great work!.Version: 1.3.0

Love It but...This really has just about everything you could want from a gm game. Big ups to the creators fr. Just a few things that may be worth adding that I haven’t seen mentioned yet... 1) A player accolades screen to tell how many mvps a player has, how many pro bowls, DPOY, all that. 2) A bidding system in offseason free agency (similar to madden). Part of the thrill of free agency is battling other teams for a certain player and I’d love to see that aspect implemented in this game. And 3) News Headlines/Player storylines. This would add a whole new feel to the game and at least I would enjoy seeing headlines about standout players, blockbuster trades, big free agency moves, big injuries, coaching changes, and maybe even some players occasionally getting into legal trouble. Just some ideas, but this game is amazing and keep up the great work y’all do on this..Version: 1.3.0
