✓ Good game just freezes everytime it loadsWas good until I made a purchase then game crashed constantly. I really like the game unfortunately. Would change rating if gets fixed. Update game not fixed just made worse. And I screen recorded the game glitching so you can’t win. Once you win to many fights in a row the enemies life will not move at all. Making you lose until you either BUY something or wait. They tried giving coins to make up for the broken game but it’s not even close to enough to make up for it. Update again. Game is back to doing what it did before and it really slow down your game especially after you paid for a season pass like I did. I think I will be contacting Apple fir a refund of all purchases I have made. And after a new season slash won’t hit anyone with his special move. ✓ Data Deleted & RetrievedUpdate: I was able to log in to my Kongregate account & retrieve my lost data. So be sure to log into Kongregate before progressing through the game, especially if you’re going to make purchases. To upgrade characters, it would be helpful if they allowed you to play old adventure missions. You get to a certain point where you can’t get pass a level & have to wait til you collect enough ooze to make your characters stronger. I have found it a little helpful if you reposition characters before a battle like having characters with distance attacks & less health in the back. I’ve been able to defeat enemy squads much stronger than my squad by doing some repositioning..Version: 1.24.2

✓ Not really a game so much as a “who can spend more” simulator.I’ve been playing this game since launch. Since then, because of consistent bugs during every update cycle, I’ve wasted countless hours of play in terms of the bit currency (used to obtain new heroes) and other currencies. People exploit the system regularly both thru cheats and some bugs and will absolutely decimate any hope of progress you might have. To top it off, their rng method for obtaining those luscious, hard to get characters is absolutely abysmal. As I said, I’ve been playing since launch and because of this rng and system abuse, I have lost every chance to obtain good 4&5 star rated characters. My roster consists of the absolute worst tier possible in the game and no amount of hoarding resources outside of dropping hundreds of dollars will get me to where that “loot” is. Avoid this game if you’re looking for a fun and engaging experience. You literally just idle matches in real time and collect characters. That’s it. Oh, and there is no endgame content. There’s nothing to do at all late game other than log in once a day and watch a handful of ads. Kongregate his really dropped the ball with this game..Version: 1.34.2
✓ More fun than I expected, but…When I realized this is more of a rpg and not a fighting game, I thought I’d tire of it quickly. But I really enjoy it and have played it pretty consistently. However, you quickly get to a point in the game where progress basically stops or is dependent on watching tons of advertisements, or spending absurd amounts of money on characters and upgrades. You can progress in the game by watching the ads, when they’re available, but for some reason the ads are frequently not available. Which means you’re basically stuck in the game until someone turns the ads back on and you can get enough upgrades to progress. There are so many fixes for this. Upgrades get exponentially more expensive. Can take 24 hours to get enough to upgrade one character a tiny amount after you get to a certain point, with multiple upgrades needed to progress even one level. They should either make the upgrades cheaper, and/or increase the amount of game currency you get, and/or just make those super annoying ads always available which increase your game currency to a reasonable level. Also, the actual money costs is totally absurd, $50 to not even cover one 4 star hero? The game was super fun, but it needs to be improved for it to continue to be fun. If the ads or anything else ever gets fixed, I’ll come back and add more stars..Version: 1.48.0
✓ Season pass not worth itIt say 120% increase but you only get 1.2% increases not getting enough scraps to get lair level up need to fix it been playing since it started back in September so and that need to lower the cost it takes to upgrade shouldn’t need to gems when most people can’t afford it.Version: 1.35.0
✓ Interesting game but all about the money.Like most who’ll try this I’m a Fan of the Turtles and have been since the 90’s. The graphics and art work are cool. It has very simple ‘lair’ building mechanics. Story seems fine but I’ve deleted this game that’s designed to gouge you for money. There is a very solid time and pay as well. Having tested this on a few devices I’ve pulled the same hero (duplicates) 3times! Either my luck is very very bad or there’s something a miss. ✓ BlandThe only note worthy thing about this game are the ninja turtle characters. First the game takes you through the campaign levels. You’re rewarded with very little ooze, which is the only way to level up your characters. When you get to higher campaign levels it’s nearly impossible to beat the enemies because you get stuck level 5 different characters to complete milestone objective (like have 5 characters at level 50). So you can’t spend it all on one character. And you can’t even go back to previous missions to earn rewards. So you’re basically at a wall, waiting for your ooze to generate from your base, you can get your team to a high enough level. The combat is dull. You even if it’s not on auto, the only thing you can do is choose WHEN to do your super moves. There’s no choosing who to cast it on, no strategy whatsoever. no ingame world chat or clan chat at all. Seems like very little importance for joining a clan. Other than having an increase in production for your lair. some clanmates stopped logging in after a couple days due to a bogged down progression. In game purchases seem not worth it. I bought the $5 pack with splinter but the rewards for it seemed middling. There’s one with 8 hour production of exp but trust me. That’s probably not gonna get you far..Version: 1.24.1

So i closed and reopened the application. 2. And then when i was loading in, the loading bar wouldn't move from 89% of downloading assets. So i deleted and reinstalled and still had the same bugs. The only thing there really is to do in this game is the adventure which you will hit many brick walls where you have to farm for a week to pass one level. ✓ Horrible gameI’ve been playing this game religiously for three months maybe more. If I can give it a zero star I would! Once you reach a level 200 for your characters it jumps from 10,000,000 to 60,000,000 units to give them a level so it goes up 50 million units when before it was going up to hundred thousanddish to make your levels. So once you get to that 200 level mark it takes so much more to level up your players if feels like they are trying to put a halt or slow down the production because they cannot keep up! I have also written them because temptress doesn’t get her final upgrade of the dragon picture I’ve had her and I’ve written the writers of this game and it is still under production after two months of me asking where it is! AlsoWhen I got to level 200 I got to the Leonardo that upgrades to a super Leonardo I have tried to beat him now for three weeks straight with zero success. ✓ How to play?What am I doing wrong? I have followed all the quests and keep my team leveled as high as I can, but I keep getting stuck where I can’t play because I can’t pass a level. Have to wait hours for the “ooze” to replenish. Why can’t I go back and replay lower level battles? When I lose a battle I get nothing and I don’t see any other way to level up my characters other than log off the game and wait. ✓ Could be amazing10/10 for gameplay and graphics 10/10 for characters and setup 1/10 for fun after hitting about stage 9 I’m dying to play more or actually have something to do at all. Wait 8 hours to get on and it’s one click to get my idle rewards and still nothing to do. So disappointing. No reason to even spend now as the paywall is so tall that you will never reach the top. It’s not enough content to keep everyone happy and no matter how much you spend it will just go back to an idle game waiting to do something. Plus they cap the idle part. Sad. ✓ Fun until you hit the wall.This game brought back some nostalgia for me since I loved watching this cartoon when I was a kid. But now I’m at a wall in the game and unless I pay I can’t move on further. All my toons are maxed out at 3 stars and lvl 150. I can not go past unless I pay to get a 4 or 5 star character. The other negative thing is the clans do not do anything but boost your ooze production, no clan wars or anything like that. The PvP scoring is meh since it’s based on your power and if you have high power you are always fighting people that are like 20k-30k below you and it’s to easy you just auto attack..Version: 1.25.0

✓ Wanted to give 5 starsAfter playing this game for a few months, I would like to warn other potential players. The developers worked hard on this project and in many respects have a great product just looking to be administered well. With that said, the glitches of not being able to watch ads for bonus resource production that have been going on for weeks now has put an end to my time with the game. You can’t advance past player level 100. You will only access 2/3 of the possible characters, the others seem to only be available through large purchases. No way to message the developers to make them aware of the issues. No way to communicate with other players or even the players in your same clan. All glaring issues that need to be addressed. However it is ridiculously unstable. The screen goes blank after battles, game needs rebooting. Can’t open prize crates, it’s just a loading screen no reward. Only works in 1 orientation, portrait. Not good enough when playing on an iPad Pro with a big screen. No cross device compatibility. I managed to get this working on iPhone, had to start again from the beginning. ✓ DisappointedI have played this game for a while now, I believed I can give an honest and sincere review about it. I love TMNT, I have many memories from my childhood and this is the reason why I started playing this game, all the characters look exactly as I remember them. So far I have spent $40 on this game, this is how much I really love TMNT but not to say this game in particular. It has way so many issues for me to keep wasting my money on it. For example; Playing Dimension Clash there are many times when the characters fighting get stuck and do nothing, the only way to to fix it is getting out therefore losing the battle. There are other times that it just doesn’t even works so you loose your energy as you only have 10 each day. Also playing the channel 6 rush, you are supposed to play as far as you can go with your team and then each day it will go down 10 levels for you to try again and I am guessing so you can at least get something from playing the “channel 6 rush” but there are times, many times I should say that I am stuck in there and I can’t even play my daily 10 levels from the reset. I am really sorry to say that these issues are enough for me to not recommend this game to anyone. ✓ It’s fun, until it’s not.This game has spurts of being really fun, but the more I play it the more it seems like a money-grab. It’s no different than a game like “Star Wars: Galaxy of Heros”, really. There’s no strategy involved in the game, so it’s not necessary to play a certain way to get by a certain enemy. The part that makes this so unfun is that you fly through battles/quests and then you hit a wall. There’s no solution but to upgrade your characters. You’re not going to win by making a conscious decision to do something different. So you can wait to gather resources or you can spend actual currency.. See what I mean about a money-grab? Granted, the game gives you plenty of opportunity to upgrade characters and equipment in the BEGINNING. but none of these upgrades feel like they “do” anything and the further along you get, the more it costs to upgrade. Eventually, you upgrade your characters to a level they can get past the metaphorical “wall”. But until then, you’re either putting out real money or you’re ignoring the game until you’ve acquired the resources necessary. ✓ Fun game Horrible supportI created a clan early on and was always the Master of the clan. One day I noticed I was no longer the Master so I contacted support since there is no Clan chat to ask for it back. A bit recommended related topics and one of them was a link to a one time promotion fix if you got demoted in a Clan you created. I submitted that ticket and they replied saying “that but has been fixed and we cannot promote you. The current Master must be offline for 14 days before he’s demoted”. That does me no good because he always plays. Why would that topic still be up on their website if they can’t do the fix? Seems more like if they could do it in the past they could do it now they are just too lazy to do it and don’t care about their customers..Version: 1.34.2

✓ Account Gone - UpdatePlayed the game for a little over a week. Login today and I’m back to the tutorial. Luckily I didn’t spend any money on a game that randomly deletes your account. I didn’t login with Kongregate, so I have no idea if anything can be done. Not sure if I want to start over again. If I do I guess I’ll have to login with Kongregate and make a copy of my new player ID offline so I can ask them to recreate my account the next time it gets deleted for no reason. Update - I did restart, and to echo other comments the offline ooze production is pretty terrible. Replacing one of your starting characters is at least a week long process, as you can’t continue to progress through the boards if you aren’t actively updating your starters. Do you basically login to collect a tiny bit of ooze, upgrade, then log off for the day..Version: 1.24.2

If you like banging your head against the wall hoping to get an ad to trigger so you can get material to level up with, and if you love the same false advertising ads that take you to the App Store without your permission so you can see their falsely inflated star ratings from click farms in Asia, then this is the game for you. 2 stars for nostalgia and really good music. Adding: Ads are becoming increasingly aggressive, forcing interactions, and one even forced me to log into Walmart so they could put their products into my cart (it failed), but I couldn’t get the reward otherwise even after watching the video. These type of ads indicate poor breeding by the parents (probably at least one being four-legged) of the losers who come up with these ideas, and if the devs don’t take action instead of being driven by greed, I will begin to think the same of them. ✓ My son loves it BUT...While at the beginning the pace and progression are relatively well paced and balanced as you get deeper into the game it doesn’t just slow down, it begins to move at a glacial pace. It becomes so laborious that if you don't spend money it begins to feel like work. Especially considering that there are caps on how much your ”refineries” can produce if you don't log in often. While I know that these games are meant to be predatory in a sense, the fact that you can't take a rest from it for a couple of days and still accrue the ”materials” is very unfair to the kids who's parents don't let them spend 24hrs on the tablet and spend copious amounts of money on in-game things. I am one of those parents... You guys would still make money if you gave kids the ability to reach the ”goals” in a reasonable amount of time rather than having to pay for it. So many characters, a lot of things to upgrade, a fun story to play through..... until you get to the point where you HAVE to spend money in order to progress in the game. ✓ Ads brokenI like the game alot. I have played it to the point where I have been grinding for a good bit. The ads do not load for a while when the game boots. And some of the ads (state of survival) are well over a minute. It has been persistent enough and annoyed me to the point of writing this review. I have bought the season 11 and season 12 passes, but refuse to spend the ridiculous amount for the heroes I don’t have yet. IF the prices for the heroes that only drop in the 4 star gacha were lower, I MIGHT consider spending money to acquire them. As it is, this is now a game I play occasionally instead of an hour a day. It must have been that the license period was expiring and they just had to push something out, no matter how junky it was. The game is full of bugs, it crashes and/or freezes constantly, and the main mechanic (combat) did not even work correctly until a recent release. Furthermore, the skills of the toons are meaningless (X skill reduces Will by 25, but the game doesn’t tell me what Will is, what it does, or what Will my toons even have). There are rooms that require leveling in the base that are meaningless. The good toons (4*+) seem to be impossible to get. The only reason I gave it 2* even was because it’s the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Otherwise, I would have given it negative stars if I could..Version: 1.28.0

✓ Does not run properlyI downloaded this game two days ago excitedly. Upon initial startup the game worked beautifully. My issue started while still in the training stage after completing stage 1-7. I was prompted to click the heroes tab after earning enough hero disk to recruit. I clicked the tab which then brought up the list of heroes I had already recruited. From here I am prompted to tap the bottom button to move to the next screen. Instead of taking me to the next screen as the game intends I am just given a ninja star that never stops spinning. I can’t progress. I uninstalled the game and reinstalled to see if this would correct the issue and again the same problem. I recently installed the new update in hope that I can finally progress in the game but I encountered the same issue. The problem is if you live somewhere more remote where internet speeds are still really slow then every time a big update goes through you can’t play the game until you have 30-60 minutes to just stare at the loading screen and make sure your phone or tablet doesn’t go into sleep mode. If it doesn’t stay on then it starts the “downloading assets” all over again. It puts you in a round with teams that are not 5k attack points higher than you but 10k+ which is wildly out of balance and rigged to lose since those teams are at the top. I don’t even understand the point of the board when you’re not even battling the person in the spot above to climb upwards or placed in the same league. The board is to climb upwards but this makes you lose round after round cause the system fails to pair up with teams that give a proper and fair challenge. ✓ The nostalgia factor is great, but...Like many “idle” games, you quickly cap out anything and everything there is to do in a matter of minutes. At a certain point each day (or worse, each week at some point knowing these games) you will hit a wall where there’s nothing to do but wait until you’ve collected enough XP (ooze, in this case) to level up heroes enough to continue for another 5 minutes worth of battles until you hit the next wall. The character designs are great, the classic TMNT feel is excellent, and the graphics are polished well enough. The abilities are cool, and fit the characters personalities, giving the animations a nice flair. The upgrade system and items are not explained well, and they’re kinda meh. The ability to go backwards and replay older battles as a way to grind out some basic resources would easily add another star, and the option to customize or level up items would add depth and possibly a fifth star. ✓ Fun at first...I really enjoy ninja turtle games and I tried hard with this one. If you approach this game as an idle game it’s not as disappointing. Like all free games you eventually hit a wall. The downside is that this game doesn’t give you a viable path around said walls. Progression 1 You cannot farm gear and you only get upgrades from quests 2 You cannot replay levels 3 It is unclear how you upgrade characters I have 5 dimension levels of several characters it still locked. 4 My 3 star character is objectively worse than most 2 star characters So I’m stuck at 10-10. I can’t upgrade to three star, my characters are maxed (level 100), and I can’t get new gear. My current “quest” requires a level 110 character. Meaning I have to dump ooze into a 3 star character I am not going to use. Events aren’t balanced First place in the scrap event has spend over 1 million scrap, second through 6th haven’t spent that much combined. This seems fishy to me. The soundtrack is one song. ✓ I really wanted to like this game.Like the title says “I really wanted to like this game.” There is a decent story and most of the main players are here but there are a couple of issues that don’t allow this game to recommendable to anybody. The battles are pretty simplistic. Find a team and press begin battle. The heroes go on autopilot and hope they are strong enough to win. I can look past that. What I can’t look past is the fact that the game crashed and all my data was gone. Nada, nothing was saved all the hard work and lucky pulls were gone. I spent $5 for a 3 Star hero and all gone. ✓ Fun game with lots of glitchesI’ve been playing this game for almost 2 years and have had lots of fun during the entire time. There have been several bugs, and the dev team has acknowledged these by giving in-game rewards as an apology. The most recent glitch that is causing this review to be 3 stars is the hero drive contents. Supposedly each drive has an equal chance of getting each hero. But in the last few weeks, I keep getting the same hero 5-10 times in a row. Mathematically this is astronomically low. But I still got like 7 Mikey’s in a row from 2 star drive, and for 3 AND 4 star drives I’ve gotten like 7 Genghis in a row. Whatever algorithm is determining which hero we get is totally busted. If I open 7 hero drives I should realistically expect 5 different heroes and maybe 1-2 repeats. Not the same hero EVERY time. I almost don’t want to open any more hero drives. Yesterday, my 2 star drive contents went from all Mikey to all Baxter. There is no variance or diversity. Please fix this!! Otherwise this is easily a 4.5 star game.Version: 1.48.0

The new players can gain the most levels and complete more- since they have more left to complete. The paid players buy each new character since they’re always better than the last. They never update the equipment or other aspects of the game and there has only been 2 clan sieges in a year and a half, yet they advertise it as if it’s active. A lot of trolls with multiple accounts in clans with numbers after them. Turtle cobra Kai 1-8, havoc 1-6, exquisite 1-8, come on sheep, run your own clans. None of the developers have addressed the last review (2 stars) and it seems like they aren’t close to making an upgrade to this game to make it more enjoyable. Give us a chance to go back in previous levels to help us level up our other characters and give us an opportunity to beat the AI or others in clash modes. I used to be able to reach level 828 in the “Channel 6 Rush” section of the game. Then several weeks ago I started not being able to beat a single level on a given day. So I started using the reduce 10 levels button…. Today I tried starting at 535 and got stuck at level 537, and tomorrow I get to try from 527. (You should be able to get 10 wins per day.) ✓ Game killing bugsI like TMNT so I tried it out. The game works so poorly I eventually gave up and uninstalled it. I played for about a week and in that time, the game disconnected me from my account (even while logged into Kongregate) 3 days right after reset. Meaning at reset the game crashes and starts new. When the game comes back up it starts a completely new account. This means you lose access to all the items you purchased until it gets fixed. This also happened twice in the same day after they reported they fixed the issue. During that week I also received a lower tier item for something I purchased and was double charged for another item. Their response was that due to privacy issues they couldn’t see anything and I need to contact Apple for a refund. From what I could tell about the gameplay the game is very highly stacked against players that don’t spend money. The premium currency (gems) is extremely out of balance. There are only a few ways to get small amounts of gems for players that don’t pay. $9.99 gets you more gems than you can earn in weeks as FTP so after spending a relatively small amount on the game I was 10x past the next person on the leaderboards. ✓ Great potential- some game killer bugsReally fun game. Decent graphics, decent music. I experienced, however, some game killing bugs. 1st bug- around level 70ish I stopped receiving materials from various sources. The green cubes not only stopped being rewarded from quests, but the lair stopped generating them. This resource is used to advance and unlock new characters. 2nd bug- I tried doing the partnered tasks to earn green cubes, despite being completed they all were stuck in unfinished. 3rd bug- I deleted the app and reinstalled it and it won’t collect quests to advance (won’t collect new characters). Deleted the app again. No real place ingame to contact the developers and report these bugs so hopefully they can fix these issues as the game has a lot of potential!
