✓ Amazing, but super glitchyI have been playing this game for several months now and it is a great soothing game. It’s almost meditation for me. The problem is, this game is constantly glitching. There have been days where I can’t even open it because it glitches and shuts itself down. I’m constantly losing progress within the app. I just purchased a dog, and suddenly, after 2 days my dog is gone, but so is the ‘money’ that I used to buy it. My phone gets really, really hot while playing this game too. I can not say why, as this is the only app it happens with, but after maybe 5 or so minutes my phone gets noticeably hotter in my hand. This has been happening since I’ve started using the app, and now my phone case looks... discoloured and almost melted in places. It’s a great game and I do love it, I just can’t play it anymore due to the utter frustration after losing my progress and the glitches, and the safety of my phone!.Version: 1.13.4
✓ Great game, but no developer support.I have to give three stars here. The Trail gets five stars for entertainment and visuals (I've poured countless hours into this game), but it gets 1 star for developer effort. I would love to continue playing this game if the developers showed any inclination that they intended to add new features beyond gear packs that cost $30. It's clear that the developers only care about making money and not about creating a fun, expanding adventure. Hopefully this changes sometime in the future, but until then I'm putting this game on the back burner. Edit: months later, there is still no expansion in the features of the game beyond new areas to explore. Very disappointed because this is such a great game, but because the developers seemingly have no interest in doing anything more, I still can’t play this game. Final Edit: I was excited to see this game in my update list, but of course it’s just compatibility and bug fixes. There hasn’t been a significant update to the game since I first started playing and I feel that there never will. The developers have seemingly abandoned their game. ✓ Game crashes, resets my progress, and lagsI love this game and I’ve played it ever since it first came out. I downloaded it again this week and it’s just as fun as I remember, but I also forgot just how bad the game lags. Not only that, but every once in a while, the game randomly crashes mid-trail walking, and sets my journey back A LOT. I was very well past Winter’s Crossing where you need to pay the ferry man chits to pass over the river to get to the mountain range. My game crashed, and set me back to before the Winter Crossing and I saw that my progress had reset. I had to recollect pine cones for a recipe, lost over 4000 chits that I’d collected, and it was just a bummer altogether, I almost didn’t feel like playing again. The lagging also irks me, but otherwise tolerable. Simple things like collecting delays and whatnot. At least it’s not as bad as restarting all that hard work. It’s a very fun game, it’s just those bugs and crashes that really ruin the mood. I had been playing for a good hour and I was in the zone, and crashed, and lost all my hour’s worth of progress..Version: 1.92.54
✓ My thoughtsThe game is selfish, u can just plop over on the ground and 400 bucks?!?!?!?!? What is that!? JUST FOR A BOAT RIDE!!!!!!!! Im always running out of energy and then just when i can get up somehow if all my stuff hasn’t dropped then it all goes out of my bag including my clothes and i just go to the first camp with nothin. ✓ Great Game but...This game is great, from the Art to the Story Line. I was really excited about you introducing dogs into the game. I put about a Months work into gathering the money I needed to build the pet shop since my Town Members were online but wouldn't help. After I was able to afford the Pet Shop, I waited about a day. I was Very disappointed to find out that one Dog costs 75... Favors. I was REALLY REALLY disappointed. They only give you One favor every day. It would then take me another 2 months and a half to get a Dog unless I bought some. I didn't buy any. Another thing that the game should add are shops. Every player can open their own shop for maybe 5 favors. The owner could choose what to sell for how much. Other then that, its a great game. I was just really disappointed about the dogs. A player that's active with less then 2 other players active in that same town should be able to go to another town for free. They should be able to bump around towns if there are less then other 2 players active in that town for free..Version: 1.6

✓ Would be better if it didn’t have so many bugsSome may get better mileage from this game. However, the game has multiple bugs: - entering the hunting mini game and there is no way to reorient the view to target the game literally in front of you - crafting items that get ‘stuck’ on the screen and don’t drop into your inventory - quests rapidly become unachievable without buying expensive gear - which then wears out soon enough, so you have to buy it again with RL cash - npcs pick up thing that get dropped incredibly fast whereas it takes you a while to orient correctly and to manage your pack Basically the game gets annoying rather than be enjoyable.Version: 1.13.4
✓ Good game but i hate thisI love this game, i remember having it as a small child and decided to play again. I managed to get stuff that my child self could only imagine getting i was so happy and proud of myself. I realised i was running low on stamina so i tried to stop walking so i could eat. My character didnt stop. I was confused and my stamina started dropping rapidly and i collasped. I watched in horror as the people around me took all of my stuff and taunted me at the next campsite. What. The. Heck. Why didnt i stop? Why did my stamina drop so quick? Why where the people so nasty? Im still not sure if the people are npc’s or not and if they are, is there some way to put then on a kinder setting or some way TO GET ALL MY STUFF BACK!!!!!!! ✓ Fun game, but the worst customer serviceI enjoyed playing this game on and off for a while. I hadn’t played for ages, then rediscovered it and went on to the game. It offered me a “welcome back gift” of favours, but instead of receiving any, I instead lost all of the ones I had spent all my time playing saving up. So I wrote to customer support, no reply. I waited a month, and wrote again. Same story. I asked for help again, and 2 months later still haven’t heard back. I would say play the game, but hope to heck nothing goes wrong with it because you’ll never get any help..Version: 1.92.54

✓ I love this game, but……the developers have not well, developed this game, which has so much potential btw. The last time this game was updated was a year back. If they’ve given up on this project, might as well sell it to a company that would maintain it better. I am the founder of my town and it’s fairly well developed with lots of town gold, so I don’t want to leave. The developers need to allow founders to be able to kick out inactive players to keep the game from dying as it’s one of the most obvious things on any MMO clan..Version: 1.92.54
✓ Good but needs improvementIts a really good game and i have had it for about a year now. Its super fun at the beginning (when youre walking to EdenFalls) but after that there isnt anything to do. I used to play the game daily, but realised no changes (such as finding a partner, starting a family, ect.) were possible due to the developers not including it yet. I stopped playing the game for a couple of months (like, 6) and have only recently gone on it again, and still, no changes, no new goals to achieve. which is why the town im in is completly inactive now... so, a good game, it just needs some attention, instead of only adding things that you need to use real money for....Version: 1.7

✓ Built to make money, not for game playI understand that games wouldn't exist if people don't get paid. However, to make the game auto spend your gold so you can't unlock the function you need to upgrade is really annoying and makes the game unplayable. I've been working for a week to save up the gold and now it's gone on some useless chat function. The game itself has become boring completing repetitive tasks while I wait for the certain actions as a refuse to spend money to speed things up. I wish I could just give you £20-30 to buy the game outright and just get on with it rather than be mislead by the activities..Version: 1.6
✓ Would have been five stars BUT...Ever since I updated my game for the Easter egg hunting event my game has NOT been the same. I was paying for my next fair to cross the water when my game not only crashed but also stopped working. I tried rebooting the game by clearing all my app history but it still was not working. So I tried deleting the app and re-downloading the app which sucked because even though I had my data saved to my iCloud the Easter event was no longer available to me even though before the re-download I still had four more days to collect Easter eggs :( Besides the event my game was working again however after downloading it again I found that I could no longer make my person run. I no longer had the running meter on the left part of my screen and it was a feature I used a lot. I am disappointed by how my game was affected. It is my favorite game that I play everyday when I wake up or have free time. ✓ Brilliant, yet dysfunctional.This is my second time downloading the game. The first was almost 2 years ago. I originally deleted the game due to the frustration of repeatedly losing my saved progress. I’d quit the game and all items gathered, quests completed, items crafted would be lost. This ruined my experience for would have otherwise been one of my favourite games. Now, in 2020, I decided to give this game another go. The starting point is different to what I remember which is promising. Effort has been put into this game since the last time I played. Undoubtedly, basic bugs such as lost progress would’ve been squashed. This was very much a false sense of security because once reaching Eden Falls. I’ve been stuck in a loop returning me to the same point repeatedly. I’ve now completed the same “collect the beaver hide” and “collect the tracker skirts” quest 4 times. I just wish to progress through the game. Until this is fixed and I get a developer response, my review remains two stars. It’s a shame that the frustration masks the beauty of the game..Version: 1.13.4
✓ A Disappointing Mixed Bag....I really wanted to give this five stars but the glitches are so bad. The game strategy is fun and could keep me playing for hours but every 15 minutes I get automatically backed out of the game. Also, the developers changed the stamina so your character immediately runs out of life. Like, two steps away from camp and your already in need of food. Finally, making your customers pay for game favors with real money cheapens the game. It's like I am playing one of those lame Facebook games or at a video gaming cafe. The dev team should allow people to tap into their screen money. I have nearly 86,000 chits accrued but can't purchase food in town or buy "favors" or gold with the game money. UPDATE: After a few months of playing and really attempting to develop my town (nearly single-handedly, I might add), I finally accepted that this game is so poorly programmed, it isn't worth my time. I now get bumped out at each trail, about every 8 minutes, sometimes without completing the trail so I do the same trail over and over without going anywhere. Items have regularly disappear from my backpack and you still have to purchase gold with real dollars, not game money. In the end, it's an original and fun concept, just poorly designed in some ways and definitely poorly programmed that it's full of glitches. It has become exhausting and boring to play..Version: 1.6
✓ Fun, but...This game is super fun, I play it almost every day. However! There are so many problems I have with the game. First, it glitches a LOT. The graphics are very choppy sometimes (my main concern, as it interferes immensely with the gameplay) and occasionally my items disappear. Second, the stamina is horrible. I don’t know how many times I’ve been LITERALLY one step away from waking into a camp and I fall over! ONE STEP. This is extremely frustrating because not only do I have to choose between 1) having all my items stolen or 2) eating a ridiculous amount of food just to be able to stand up and walk one step to the camp entry point (where I no longer need to rest at because my stamina is full again), I also have to eat SO much food on the trail. I shouldn’t be down an entire heart, walking as slow as possible, and still be able to see the camp behind me. Third and finally, the way we compete with other towns bothers me. My town is currently competing with a town that has traveled 200+ camps ahead of where we have, and can generate 100,000 “chits” more than my town is capable of. It makes filling the warehouse almost completely pointless. Long story short: the graphics need major fixing, the stamina needs adjusted to be realistic, and the “competition” makes no sense. Also my phone gets extremely hot while playing the game, so that’s lame too. I have a lot of fun with the game, but could have so much more if there was a better version of it..Version: 1.7
✓ Do not spend any real money!!!!!!!I was having a great time playing this game, decided to splurge on and offered package with some clothing and chits. I played for a couple days, closing the game, reopening it etc, getting further, making new better toolsthen I open it one day and it reverted to right before I purchased the tropical explorer offer ($27.99) and there is no ‘restore purchases’ button that I can find and I did email support and they did not respond either. ✓ Needs to be updated, this game is really fun!Hasn’t had an update in 3 years and it needs bug fixes, desperately, but otherwise I really enjoy this game. I like how currency works and I really like the different sceneries all the materials and cute food and things you can craft, as well as the tactical side of things. On another note, there are a lot of bugs to take advantage of and on the flip side glitches that might reset a days progress of travel progress and purchases that aren’t refunded :( There probably hasn’t been an event in 3 years either idk i took a huge break from the game and just came back, I haven’t seen an event in all my time playing. ✓ Love it... buts needs some fixes!First and foremost, I’m loving this game! If you have ever wanted to dive deep into what life was like decades ago, this is the game for you! For some it may be slow, as you are walking so progress takes a while, but I think that there is a more satisfactory payoff for finally gathering everything you need. On the downside, I’m finding that the game doesn’t fit on my phone screen (iPhone XR), and therefore half of the time I can’t read, see, or grab things that I need to. Please fix this game developers! I am addicted already but am getting quickly frustrated by the game sizing problem! Another thing that I can personally would like to see changed is that when you are trying to gather a certain number of items for a quest, let’s say the feather quest for example, I am finding that there are very few quest items in sight and so I am having to go through 3+ camps, along with watching ads, in order to gain enough of the quest items to complete the quest. I would like to see either a rise in numbers of quest items you come across, or another way of gaining these items, outside of buying from the other travelers. ✓ Frustrating and pointlessPlayed this game for a few days, it's pretty though repetitive. I was starting to get annoyed with the extremely frequent request to watch ads. 3-4 times between each camp is far too many. But I made it to Eden Falls, had a tier 3 house, was merrily trucking along turning the sound off every time annoying billboard girl showed up and the game updated. My game is gone, I'm back to the start. I delegated the game but ended up redownloading because a patch said they'd solved the save issue. They haven't. ✓ Hmmm... needs bug fixesIt’s okay, maybe a little repetitive. Very pretty and nice idea. I got all the way to the town and it froze, which took me right back to about 2km into the trail. Really needs that fixed, I probably won’t bother continuing now and I imagine a lot of others would do the same. Also, the freemium aspect is outrageous. I get that you can pretty easily play the game without it, but at the moment, it’s near impossible to obtain and everything is really expensive. ✓ Good but bugsIt’s a great game, honestly I love it, however there are many bugs like beartrice (the quest giver) not going off in our screen, when you craft an item it is stuck and doesn’t move nor can you move it, not having the option to go into the trading thing and some others however if I did not find a fix this would be lower, to fix these issues just close down the game and reopen it, I’ve not lost saved progress doing this and I can re-move items, beartrice isn’t menacing staring at me 24/7 and I can make stonks.Version: 1.92.54

✓ Good game, very buggy (for me?)So, I've been playing this game for a while now (maybe a month or two?) and despite the amount of bugs I've encountered I still find it pretty engaging. It's definitely my current time-sink and the game progression keeps me engaged enough to continue playing. I've had issues with the game crashing (both from regular play and watching the ads), throwing away items for me, and this weird issue of it heating up my phone to the point where I have to worry bc I can feel it through my fairly thick case. I felt prompted to write a review when I was forced (the camera wouldn't look away) to watch a raccoon walk the length of the trail I was on before it got to the edge of the map and continued to walk off into a white abyss. While the premium items are kind of "pay-to-win", the game basically functions like a single-player game anyway (outside of the town mechanics, which are cooperative) so it doesn't affect anyone else. So they're more "pay to spend less time gathering stuff" And while they would be vastly more convenient, you don't have to buy them to enjoy the game (tho, do it if you can afford it since it keeps the game running, I assume lol)..Version: 1.6

✓ So much potential - if the devs cared!Played this game for several months now. The last update was a big let down. The bug fixes didn't work and they added nothing new other than the premium Dino outfit. Had they added new quests, maps or even a house update it wouldn't have been so bad. It's really addictive to start but it feels like they don't care once you've spent a few quid. The lag is terrible and it takes up a lot of space due to the way their storage coding is set up. It kills battery and phone gets super hot because it's trying to process way too much. There are loads of ways they could improve it mentioned on their forum but will they listen? ✓ I love the game but hate the lagThis game if it simply worked properly would be a 5 Star game, I love it but it’s extremely frustrating when it feels like I’m playing on dial up. The lags often get so bad that I have to delete and redownload the app which will give me 5-10 minutes of smooth gameplay. Also within an hour it’ll drain my battery from 100% to 20% and it makes my phone get really hot. It’s addictive and fun but you’ll want to throw your phone against the wall if you get this lag. Please! For the love of god, give us an update to fix this!! I’m getting to the point where I’m going to have to pull the plug if it isn’t fixed very soon. Update: so with all the overheating of my phone when I play this game I believe it has degraded my phone battery, nothing at all that I use besides this game makes my phone get hot. I used to go all day without having to charge my phone but after deleting the game and using my phone less than ever I have to charge my phone midday. ✓ Dear god please fix itThe fact that i'm here, years after downloading this game, begging for ACTUAL fixes, should communicate the potential for this game. it is fun and cute, until you try to craft things. any things. i opened the app for the first time in months about two minutes ago, after seeing there were some recent "bug fixes". i enter my home, making sure to swipe into the house quickly to avoid the bug that makes you stuck on the porch and unable to go any further back into your home, and try to craft a bag of flour in an attempt to free up space in my bag, which is overflowing from all the wood and bits from the last time i played where it glitched out and undid all the crafting i had spent the previous 20 minutes doing. and whataya know, the first thing i try to craft, that bag of flour, and then glitch: the bag is stuck in the middle of the screen, none of the info about the crafted item pops up, just... stuck. i should not be getting glitched out of a game within a minute of opening it. that is legit stupid. i don't understand how something so fundamentally flawed is an "editor's choice". to say nothing about how the lack of special events within the last year or so to allow newer players a chance to acquire the special gear and dyes. ✓ Marriage update pleaseWhen I started playing this game, I enjoyed exploring the scenery, trading, and settling down in a new town to start a small business of my own. I also enjoyed writing the letters to my “family”. But on the character’s goal list was to find a partner and get married. I’ve been waiting for a long time for that, and I am disappointed that after all these years, you actually haven’t placed a marriage feature in your updates. You should do something about those goals. If you wrote those down as goals, they should be fulfilled eventually. If you at least add the marriage feature, then this game would be a lot more fun. And even when raising a family, you can still hike the trails, maybe move and settle into greener pastures. Perhaps your partner or kids can aid you in some little way on the journey, or they can stay at home, help with the business and such. Actually, I got this game in the first place because of the potential in playing a character who could get married and raise a family. When I kept going on with this tedious game without any prospect of marriage or advancement, I lost patience in it and deleted it. ✓ Fixing requiredRecently stopped the game as every time I go back home as in Eden falls it doesn't take me back to where I was originally, instead it takes me far back on the trail. The maps don't work properly cuz I can't click on the the camp I want, instead I have to walk on the same trail so the map will allow me to skip the other trails I have done already and go back to where I was which is bloody pointless. I'm spending the food and the clothing I have made and collected on trails I have done already so this needs to be fixed also this drains the battery of the phone so baddddd.Version: 1.7

✓ Bugs?I love this game and I play it quite a lot, although I’ve started to notice that I will walk through a whole section of the map, the travel back home, to then find that I cannot go back to where I was on the map previously and I have to start further back to continue tracking in that area, I even paid 1700c to travel across a lake and now that area isn’t even visible on the map, but all my money is gone? Would be great if you could fix this, as it’s quite annoying and I’m finding not much point to continue the game as I cannot progress along the map...Version: 1.13.4

Then one day my ‘own’ town loaded complete with the house that I left behind in the very first town you join. Trail progress had gone back in time, lost most of my permanent items etc etc!! After re-starting the game it loaded as if it was the first time I’d played (crossing the sea etc). Uninstalled and reinstalled only to find that the ‘1’ backup restored my ‘stripped down’ town…… So frustrating!! ✓ OkConcept: great! Graphics: wonderful! Inventory management: could use some work... The game looks great at first, but soon becomes repetitive and boring. It’s essentially just walking along a path for several hours until you reach a town and find you have to walk the path again. The inventory system is a nice idea, but fails in the execution. Supplies constantly fall out of the pack, even though they shouldn’t because the bag seems to push them upwards. I was doing just fine with several logs and stones near the top of my bag, but when I reached a camp they all fell out the top and were picked up by another person. Similar to that, is when you pass out from exhaustion. Unless you want to spend money to get back up, odds are half your inventory you spent 2 hours building is going to be stolen by someone else. Even cutting down trees is an ordeal, as the wood can be stolen and the tutorial was extremely confusing. I went through (no joke) 35 axes before the game would recognise I had even touched the tree. I do however, like the skill system, as it creates a sense of individuality in your character. The skill system, graphics and concept bump the star rating up, but I deleted the game after reaching the first town, thinking “that’s what all that was for?” If you’re a dedicated gamer who has long durations of time to spare, give it a go. I understand glitches, but add that massive amount of loss to the fact that there is no way to report it to the devs- ingame or otherwise, and it’s just shoddy. Also quite annoying that recipes only show the perks of the item when you’re being offered them for selection. ✓ A great game - unbalanced, in favor of favoursA lovely time, I'm just frustrated by some things. My clothes frequently wear out, and I see that about other people, too, walking around naked. Every trip im saving up for pants, a shirt, a slinghsot, etc, and by the time I've got that something else has worn out. The This makes the whole stat-boosts-come-from-clothes thing really frustrating. Yes, I gradually unlock better clothes, but I'm always making an effort to just keep my stats the same, and I'm not leveling up at all. Not to mention I can only do so much in one trip, because my bag is tiny - and whenever I unlock a new bag, it wears out before I know it....leaving me with no storage again! Just giving clothes a longer wear time, or JUST making storage expansions permanent. That one thing would help a lot. It's a really intriguing system, but the balance is off, and it's not fulfilling. Clearly, they want you to pay for favors, and the playstyle is clearly worse off for a free player. All that said, this is a fun game. It hasn't been very buggy for me so far, and all this ^ would be a lot of fun to handle. ✓ This game is good…..This game is so unforgiving in the worst ways possible. The game is fun, yeah, for like 15 minutes before everything is locked behind a price tag. The game is that classic repetitive nonsense game where you find it good for like the intro before you realize how bad it is, the game is filled with bots that spawn the moment you run out of stamina and takes all of your stuff, and no, none of these “people” are actual players, its just ridiculed with bots that steal stuff, the farming in this game is gross, and the only thing that this has going for it is the graphics. ✓ Lost so much grinding...When I played this game, I was deciding to go back to a grinding game that I sucked in because I was dumb. So now that I knew ideas to get a lot of money, I decided to grind this game for fun. The few problems I had with this game was that they don’t seem to configure the screen size to fit in the iPhone 11, or the fact that any item I create glitches out and just sits where it’s created until I reset the app. But those two issues weren’t really a problem for me. The main problem is the fact that I lost so much data for no reason. I just moved to a town that was actually active and was really helpful for me. I stayed and grinded the game for a good 5 hours straight, making over 20k$ and having lots of good items. When I was done, I got off the app and went about my way. When I got back, it took be back to the setup I had 5 hours before I grinded hard. At this point, the game just made me want to quit after losing so much valuable items and money. I’m no longer getting back on since it seems the developers gave up on updating their game anyways. To those who do want to play, play at your own risk. ✓ Why is Kongregate like this?? UGHThis game is legitimately one of the few apps I’ve kept on my phone and stayed active on, and it’s so gorgeous. Everything about this game scratches a brain itch I didn’t know I had: aesthetics, sound track, gathering, crafting, the town community, all of the different locations, EVERYTHING. It’s truly wonderful. However, it’s very disappointing as a consumer that this developer has other apps they actively update (rather regularly, I will add) and this isn’t one of them. I completely empathize with having to make certain games priority, but I just feel like The Trail is a gem of an app and it deserves to be prioritized too. There are ppl in my town in game that have been playing since this game first came out, and have restarted multiple times just to enjoy it over and over again. THAT says something! Additionally, if you - the developers - are still going to accept in-app purchases, you should be updating the game. If people are paying money in the app, it should be continued to be improved upon (which there is SO much potential for, this game is - again - a GEM of a game!!) ✓ A game of patient grindingI love this game and I have been actively playing it for over 2 years but its honestly a mixed bag. I have yet to find another app game like this, its as if John Muir made Minecraft. But the game’s content hasn’t been updated in over 3.5 years and they occasionally come out with a bug patch but there are still tons of glitches (most prominent one is an item craft freeze). This game is calming, with stunning graphics and peaceful bgm. Its a super simple game that slowly builds complexity the more you play. It only needs an internet connection for free-item ads or community play in guilds which I love. I’ve played this on the plane, before settling into bed, during lunch-breaks, etc. The slingshot mini-game isn’t intuitive and doesn’t offer a tutorial which is a little disappointing but nothing an online walkthrough couldn’t fix. This app is all about the patient grind. It looks like a game of world-building but its not really that and people may find it unnecessarily tedious. However, this is my cup of tea and I am the type to stay repeating the low levels until I max things before proceeding. There’s a lot of room for scaling this game to higher levels and content, but I think the developer got bored and has shelved the game, allowing it to slowly build ad-revenue without having to put more effort into it. Yes you you go on the top of mountains but there are others around you that have way more than you, are going faster and they seem to have a never ending stamina. 2. ✓ Amazing concept but so buggy and glitchy!I love how his game works, you gather resources with which you craft things and make money. You join a town and enter the crate filling contest. However this game is so buggy and so glitchy it’s unreal! Please fix this as it makes the game a pain to play. One other concern is the stealing from players factor. It’s not nice and it would be great if there was the option to help them out rather than watch other people steal from them! UPDATE: Today my hat gave out on me whilst I was walking, one despicable player stole all the wood I was collecting with which I was going to use to make birds to fill the town crates with! Not spending any money on this game when other players are going to practically steal the money put in it! ✓ Great game but sizing makes it unplayableI love this game, it really is a addicting once you get into it and you find yourself trading and finding other players to let you know you’re not the only one, the graphics and quality is definitely 5 stars. The only reason I gave it a three is playing on a iPhone XS and above (I’m playing on the iPhone 11 pro max ) the game is not sized to fit the screen and writing is cut off by the camera up the top, I also can’t access materials on the bottom of my bag as when I go to grab them it swipes my screen up and there’s no way around it. ✓ It was fun, but . . .I downloaded this game when it first came out & fell in love with it. It was challenging & the resources needed to advance were plentiful. However, I ended up in a dead town. I was the only person doing anything & there was no one to share with. THEN the developers sold the game to some entity that took it to the gaming console level and they completely stopped updating the app. By this time, I was finished & deleted the app. About a year later, I realized how much I missed the game, so I reloaded the app & started all over again. The first thing I noticed was the resources were not as plentiful & it took FOREVER to complete a quest. The good thing was I was in a town where folks actually shared! Then, scavengers started hopping in & out of town, stealing from shelves, blocking warehouse crates with 1 or 2 items, & leaving, so the town died. ✓ Losing my progressI had previously gotten to Frozen Peaks, and was on possibly camp 6 out of the 9 camps. I crafted something and it glitched, which happens quite regularly to me when I craft items. The item was frozen in the middle of my screen, and wouldn’t drop into my pack, so I restarted my phone 🙄 and then my item dropped into my back. However, I had previously spent 30 favours on gentleperson’s pants, and that was then GONE. I also lost my favours I spent and ALL of my progress from Frozen Peak and the materials I had gathered, AND the progress I had made in trying to level up my house to level 8. I had finished collecting most of the items needed, except for the woven cloth, which I still needed 7 of (if I recall correctly) and the planks. First of all, my house never finished upgrading, meaning I couldn’t enter it. After about a week, it fixed itself. The town I was put in was doomed, because we didn’t have a certain type of profession, so when my house was broken, I tried to move town to se if it would fix it. It didn't. After the house was finally fixed, I wanted to move to a decent town where there would hopefully be a few active bots. When I tried to move, the game glitched out. When I went back in, I was still in the same town. If i tried pressing on any of the buildings, it would come up with <$SID_PendingHouseMove> if I tried clicking on any of the houses, including my own, it would come up with <Please check your connection and try again> while I was at the new town, I tried upgrading my house again, now that there were the professions, but it has just been stuck on a infinite upgrade with no end this time. But to my surprise you have ZERO control in your own town. Every night I’d log in after the warehouse cleared. (which I was the only person stocking)and the gold would be used toward a building I didn’t want, because I knew other buildings were better to obtain first. As a town founder you have absolutely NO control and it’s really annoying and you can’t kick ppl from your town or enforce the rules. I don’t see the point in spending your own gold to make a town. You’re better off joining an established town and just using stuff to build yourself up. For example the back pack could be organised into slots instead of just an open space for things to go flying free. ✓ Awesome! If you’re a millionaire...So, at first I saw the (meh) reviews. But I thought of giving it a chance. The game is adventurous and fun. However, it gets harder by the second to earn chits (the in-game currency). There is a point where you are stuck at a campsite and can’t leave because you don’t have enough money to pay the ferry. Now, it gives you the option to go backwards in order to earn money, but I can’t because I don’t want to lose all my progress as I am constantly collapsing. There is little food, and at this point, you just start losing money. If you want to pay the ferry with another currency (not chits) there are Favours. This is extremely hard to get. The only way to get it is by daily login, and paying with your real life hard-earned money. Obviously, I’m not going to pay real dollars for a mobile game. So I’m deciding to remove the app from my phone, because as of right now, I see no further enjoyment from it. Please consider making this game less expensive. ✓ No support?Would give this game a 4 or5 but it seems to be no longer officially supported ( they may say differently) but check forums, see how many people have unanswered bug reports. I’ve had one in for over a month with not even an acknowledgement. The bugs range from the annoying ( mine) to making the game unplayable. There are also quite a few dead story lines, last general announcement on forums was over a year ago. Makeup your own mind, but this all suggests no support to me. ✓ Fun but needs improvementThis game is a lot of fun, but it needs some improvements with glitches and gameplay. Unfortunately, glitches happen often. I’ve fallen through the floor and some items I craft don’t go into my bag and just float in the air and I have the close the app. There could also be some gameplay improvements. One thing I really like about this app is it’s so relaxing and fun, but it’s sometimes the exact opposite because of the energy hearts. They are SO frustrating. I have a lot- 6! I should be able to get all the way through a trail just fine at a normal speed, but even going at the lowest speed I still need to eat a bunch of food to make it. The hearts go way too fast even on the slowest speed, I’ve lost count of how much I’ve passed out. And so many times I’ll be so close to the end so I’ll just eat a few foods and go the slowest speed but then end up passing out anyways, right before I make it. And I can’t wait because it takes FOREVER for all 6 hearts to refill and all my stuff will be gone. That’s my only complaint, all of the other mechanics are fun!.Version: 1.92.54
✓ It’s really good but...Yeah I like this game and i had good time playing it but there’s a few things I do not like. firstly if you run out of stamina (which you might/will) some guy pops up out of nowhere and asked you if you want to wait of use a favour, if you wait half of your stuff will be dropped and most of it will be stolen which is really annoying if you trying to craft something but if you use your favours (which cost MONEY) you will be teleported to the next camp and I don’t like spending money on mobile games. All I’m trying to say is that they made it so that you have to pay to not get your stuff stole of get dropped which is stressful and annoying but it’s still a really cool game.Version: 1.13.4

✓ Love the game but hate the bugs!I recently bought a dog using my favours but whenever I go into my house and it tells me that I have a new ‘catalogue’ for my dog, it shows me where it’s meant to be but nothing is there on my screen. My app is up to date and I’ve powered off my phone several times. I love playing this and this bug has ruined it for me. This probably won’t be seen but please help..Version: 1.13.4
✓ Crashing all the timeI played this game a lot and even settled at the town but then I got bored and deleted it then decided to play it again so I downloaded it again and went to my previous save then it crashed so I went on it again but it just crashed over and over again all that progress for nothing :(.Version: 1.13.4
✓ It’s fun but it loses its charmI honestly loved this game. It’s unique, fun and charming. I love the feeling of being alone she exploring with paradise (Eden Falls) up ahead. You’ll have a good 6 hours of gameplay at least before you reach Eden Falls. But Eden Falls is where the game fell short for me. Becuase now it’s a multiplayer game. You have to work with complete strangers who can steal your resources as much as they like. It’s a 1 in 10 chance you become mayor of the town and have any control. I thought that when your reached Eden falls it would act as a base of operations, that you could improve by exploring more at your own pace. But that’s not the case. Instead it’s a town of 10 random players who have to work together to make there town amazing. It’s sounds great on paper, but it just doesn't work. In my opinion when you reach Eden falls the game changes. It’s no longer fun. You no longer have that sense of pleasant isolation. It ruined the game for me..Version: 1.13.4
✓ Lost hopeI love this game. It's the only game i play because it relaxes me after a long day. I love the music, the graphics. The swipe, trading, crafting, warehouse, lumberyard, racoons, everything! But the game lags big time, and it heats up my phone crazily (iphone6) :/ I'm pretty far into the game, and then all of a sudden, all of it is gone now, it just didn't load my game. :(.Version: 1.6
