✓ Good Graphing App ...Avery good app for writing down an equation by hand and getting a quick solution and a graph. However, when the graph is displayed it’s very basic - all you can do is zoom in/out and pan around (or if there’s anything else you can do I can’t find it). Also - too many “adverts’ and links to other web-sites..Version: 1.0.13

✓ How the mighty have fallenI’ve used this app for a few years on my iPad. This app was great and could easily identify hand written equations and it would solve them instantly. Ever since iPad os 14 it can’t recognise any of my handwriting and when I type out a simple fraction, it takes a few seconds then it should to calculate its decimal form..Version: 1.0.23
✓ Very much still in betaAs an equation solver it’s really good but there is no denying the bugs present. Graphs wiggle around when you zoom on them, the screen flickers in dark mode, and many more bugs are present which overall hinder this apps ability. The handwriting is also VERY hit or miss where you have to be extra intention about what you’re writing or else the software interprets it in a very different way. Overall great concept but it needs a heavy coat of polish.Version: 1.4.0
✓ Free but uselessWhile its free unlike photomath, the “steps” it gives are just the fully solved problems. It just says “use this law to do that”. You cant actually learn how to do anything. If I were trapped on an island and had this app and some paper, id be better off trying out different numbers in variables and brute forcing how to solve it and re invent laws myself..Version: 1.0.23
✓ It’s okSo it’s a great app but sometimes I feel that the results they give really don’t help. I typed in 25x20 (just testing it to see if it works) and obviously it’s 500 but then I scroll down and it showed resources from khan academy like I get they probably thought it was useful but it showed work for different problems. So it’s a great app and all but I feel they can’t use khan academy for every single problem ever. If you see this I suggest when you read that you think long and hard about it. P. S. ✓ Needs a lot of workThis app is not the best. First of all, the handwriting recognition is terrible. But more importantly, the app struggles with more advanced calculus and algebra. Usually when I try to use it, the app will either just display the answer (with no explanation/steps) or it will provide me with internet search results for the problem. Overall, I find this app to be helpful only with some specific questions. But if your problems are more advanced don’t even bother, try symbolab, cymath or wolfram alpha..Version: 1.4.1
✓ BadIt doesn’t show the answer for the questions that I took a photo of and it doesn’t let me draw. Also, when i go on the keyboard, it doesn’t show powers as in, it doesn’t let me type the small number and instead, it only shows an x with a 2 on top of it.Version: 1.0.23

✓ Only works for simple questionsSo when I was doing simple work, like simple algebra it was a pretty good app, I should me the answers but it also showed how to do it, which actually really helped me out, but now I’m doing some “harder/complex” math, but it stopped showing me answers and steps. I usually check answers to see if I’m doing in right and it doesn’t even show me that, it just glitches and freezes. I’d say it’s good until G6. After that probably not, maybe G7 idrk. Though, I’ll say it again, it did help me with math and how to understand it when it was simple..Version: 1.0.23

✓ Not greatIt literally doesn’t work. Every question I take a picture of, it always says it can’t answer that question. What’s the point of a math app if it can’t ensure the question. Also it’s not like the questions I’m doing are super hard. I’m only in grace 10..Version: 1.4.0

✓ Promising, Pencil support needs workI just got a new Apple Pencil for my birthday, and this was one of the first apps I installed to test it out. It’s really a fun, useful, and exciting project. But even when I am very careful with my penmanship, the handwriting recognition is unreliable and buggy. Support for systems of equations (simultaneous equations) is great, but completely broken with the Pencil input. The curly bracket is recognized, but when it renders the math problem from my input, it makes the bracket smaller than it should be, and outputs the equations as the solution..Version: 1.4.0
✓ Stopped workingThis app used to be great, but it has stopped working on both my iOS devices. Deleting and reinstalling it does not fix it, and nor does updating the iOS. ✓ Can’t useI was hoping this would be as free, even if simple, but: scanner doesn’t work, just keeps going back and forth Importing a photo kind of works, but the most clearly written “b” gets scanned as a “6”, and other errors Trying to edit the scanned formula is very difficult, with the cursor randomly jumping around, almost impossible to type in the indice to turn the 6 back to b After that I gave up and went back to Math Solver..Version: 1.0.23

✓ DreadfulI used to rely on this app to do almost all of my quick calculations, until recently where the app is absolutely awful. I am not sure whether it uses AI algorithms to auto detect handwriting, but now the application translates a simple 7 to _/3 _/3 x. And this is just one example never mind the graduate jobs I have now completely been disregarded for, due to the once rare, yet appalling technical issues to a standard which is now impossible to use..Version: 1.0.22
✓ Yellow circle covers the answer !!There’s always a yellow circle with a white tick in it covering the answer, so I can’t read the answer !… Come on this is basic stuff ! Also I tried 3x + 7 = 17 and it says it can’t be solved !!!!! WHAT ??.Version: 1.0.23
