Command Browser for Negative User Reviews

No support for MacSeems like a great app, but Inwoild need to have it across devices and it does not work on any but the newest Macs with M1 chips. Crazy. Bummer..Version: 3.5.0

Why is there no “Delete” optionWhy is there no option to delete highlights and entire journals?? The entire time i’ve had this browser, i’ve always felt annoyed with the knowledge that still have to see particular journals that i don’t wish to see anymore in my “journals” section. I really believe that this browser is one of the best browsers since the user can store any sort of info from the web and have access to it whenever they feel like it. But sometimes maybe users, like myself, may think that the information they considered “valuable” probably isn’t so much anymore. So why can’t we have the option to delete that info?? Please add this 𝐁𝐀𝐒𝐈𝐂 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 asap!!.Version: 3.8.3

Google search engineI have given this app | browser a one star. Conceptually, Command has potential. Being relegated to the Google ecosystem is not an option! A user should be able to use other browsers | search engines and keep the same if not improved functionality..Version: 3.6.0

Great potential but locks upI love what this app's intention is but I have had it lock up completely while adding tags to a highlight - two of the first three highlights in fact. I had to force the app to quit because it was completely unresponsive. This behavior is a deal-breaker. No what great productivity tools it has they can not make up for the loss of time and concentration. I'll give it another try after the next update. I'm using an M1 12 inch iPad Pro running iPadOS 15.0.2.Version: 3.5.8

Ipad pro does not respond to apple pencilThe display does not work at all with pencil or my finger .. goodness .. i have requested this over and over again .. please get this fixed .. now .. please ...Version: 3.5.8

Fails to do the 1 thing it’s meant forIt actually doesn’t highlight anything after the first save, and no matter how many times its reloaded, it wouldn’t work..Version: 3.7.4

Why?Benefits aren’t clear, seems very expensive..Version: 2.5.11

“Open in Command” on Safari stopped working since last updateI like to use Safari in conjunction with Command, because Safari feels faster for general browsing. That said, Command’s highlighting features are unmatched. I’ve tried using different extensions and apps for web highlighting, but none feel as good as Command. I love that Command will still show the highlight on the screen, even after reloading the page. The Readwise integration is also very nice, and I like that tags added in Command carry over to Readwise. Not even Readwise’s own app lets you add tags right from the web page on mobile — you have to manually open the app and add tags later. Unfortunately, I’ve been using Command less and less lately because the Share -> Open in Command button in Safari hasn’t been working since the last update two months ago. Pressing Open in Command just takes me to a blank white web page, and it has to do with how Command has been automatically formatting web links. Links sent from Safari to Command will open as https// instead of https://. It’s been super inconvenient to have to manually edit every link myself just so the page will open. Please fix this..Version: 3.9.6

3.9.6 crashes. Notion sync and Chrome extension please??I ❤️ you Command but ... Please, please address the crashes that occur every time I long-press a piece of highlighted text, choose Journal, then OK it. Thanks! Also ... 1⃣ Notion integration needs reworking IMO so that tags made in Command stay attached to specific highlights (as they are when they are created in Command) . Currently, when sent to Notion, tags get rolled up into a bundle as a property of a URL and as a result information (that tag X was attached to highlight Y) is LOST. To fix this, I think the Highlights table needs to have each *highlight* as its entity/row/granularity, rather than URL. Ideally a related "Pages" table with URL as base would store page title and page-scope comments. If that's hard (or not possible to auto-populate related fields?) then URL and page title could just be properties of each highlight in the Highlight table, with those values repeated for each highlight in a page. 2⃣ I really miss being able to highlight also from my laptop and to see highlights I've made in the past A Chrome extension would be perfect. (Diigo implements this nicely ... but seems abandoned) 3⃣ Data protection: I'd love to know that my Notion data isn't being exposed to accidental sharing or even erasing. Maybe Notion limitations make that impossible to guarantee but I suggest you at least warn of what could happen by giving you the keys to my data there..Version: 3.9.6

Buggy messThe app freezes in journal creation and other places, requiring a full restart of the app. Test your app before asking for money from users! Especially this much. Ridiculous..Version: 3.4.5

Please contact meThis app I keep getting shut out on and the error message how do you contact support about this app????.Version: 3.5.4

Deletes highlightsThis browser is okay, but it could be better. When I first started using it worked well. I was able to highlight webpages, leave, come back, and the highlights would still be there. Recently, however, the app has started to delete my highlights and on some webpages I can’t even highlight the text. I’m gonna look for an alternative to this browser because it’s just been getting worse.Version: 3.9

Missing Basic FunctionsPremium users are unable to complete or even just do in general, basic functionality tasks such as: Sort Journals. I’ve notified the Developers through iMessage and they just didn’t seem to care, by not even responding. Well then, here’s your 1 Star out of 5 (1/5)..Version: 3.5.2

CrashesThe app is unusable every time I submit a journal entry it crashes..Version: 3.9.6

Crashes too MuchLiterally crashes on both devices 5 times every session.. a minute hardly passes and it doesn’t crash.Version: 3.7.4

Craft Docs Integration Please. Two things, to thing about: 1.) If you could add Craft Integration that would be amazing, and 2.) —Not to beat a dead horse But….—If we could get Command running on Macs that would be awesome.Version: 3.7.9

Not very intuitiveThis is difficult to figure out how to use. It would be nice if there was some sort of on screen text that showed what the various buttons did. A tutorial or walk-through would definitely be helpful. Maybe do a quick video to describe the interface?.Version: 3.7.9
