I purchased Pack 2 (of course) but, like another reviewer, the third game (Temple) keeps crashing. I note that this bug will be fixed in the next release. Great Escapes is not an exception, it’s an excellent way to introduce yourself to Glitch Games and the kind of quality you can expect in other games, it’s almost like a little sampler platter. I am often in hospital for long periods of time, and am currently shielding as am extremely vulnerable to Covid-19. These games are a complete lifeline as they help me literally 'escape' my circumstances! ✓ Glitch Gold!I love all the Glitch games I’ve played so far. Absolutely love this variety pack game because you get your Glitch fix without committing to a long term game. I’m only gearing up to play Veritas lol after completing Forever Lost I was so pleased to find this variety pack game. There are a few that are pretty easy, but I’ve gotten so used to the layout and gameplay with Glitch games that I can breeze through the easy ones in 10-15 min. The hard ones are challenging enough and I was surprised to see how complex the bunker one is. Haven’t finished that one yet. I love all the Easter eggs and the connections with the other games. The jokes are also very funny and sarcastic which I love. I’m on the third pack and just finished the toy room one. That was definitely a fave. Very fun. I would have given 5 stars, but for some reason all my progress is lost. All the way up till the temple one, the games would say “complete” and then stopped saving my progress. I opened the app this morning and none of the games say “complete”. Not that I’ve lost anything, but it was nice to see my progress. I hope the developer sees this. Anyways, thanks Glitch Games! ✓ Enjoyable!I enjoy puzzle games but there are few of quality out there. This was definitely one of them. I did have two problems that bothered me. The first isn’t really an actual problem with the game but they say you can buy packs 3 and 4 in the description but I can’t figure out how to buy them in the game. I only see pack 2 which I already bought! SPOILER: The real problem I had in the game was in the temple. I was solving the pyramid and thought since the sides were upside down you had to think of them as upside down instead of reordering the rows. I finally had to resort to the clues to figure out the south side because I kept using 3-4 instead of 2-6. Very frustrating..Version: 1.0.6
✓ Realized the Duh moment.Fun and humorous game. Previously marked 2 star because the pyramid solution wouldn’t work. Tried everything including deleting and reinstalling the game. At first it wanted me to pay again, but I kept tapping and it allowed me to continue. Finally the Duh solution presented itself. The lights on the floor around the pyramid are reflections. That means they’re reversed, which matters not with the symmetrical 3 sides, but one side is not symmetrical. When I just reversed the lights on that side it worked. Just one slight issue: I’m running version 1.0.1 on iPadOS and can’t get past the Glyph puzzle. Worked out the correct glyphs and entered them, but nothing happened. Checked I was correct with the solution in the hint system and I had got them right, but the glyphs can still be selected so it isn’t accepting that the solution is correct! ✓ Great escapes, quite fun but...Fun and requiring quite a bit of lateral thinking without being too demanding. After playing a few levels, it becomes a bit too easy as you get into the way of thinking of the compiler. Still fun, though but is it worth the £3 spent? Not sure it does as you don’t get many levels for your bucks. One thing is annoying, though: the blooming suitcase of tools. Having to open it continuously is a real bore especially when your mind is ahead of the actions and you have not zoomed in far enough to the object you want to interact with.. anyhow, small grizzle, I am being fussy..Version: 1.1.0

I enjoyed the games more when places of interest were turned off and difficulty was moved up. ✓ Great games except for bug in Temple roomI love these games and am totally hooked. But…in the Temple room, the Pillars and Stones puzzle seems to have a bug. The pillars are all supposed to be at different heights in the solution but two of the stones are the same “weight”, ie they push their pillars down an equal amount, so there’s no way to get the pillars into the correct height pattern. ✓ Escape with a sense of humorI really enjoyed this collection and look forward to trying out more of their titles. Really appreciate that they take time to give you information on just about every object in each scene, even the stuff that's peripheral to the objective...along with a healthy dose of humor and irony. I'm finding that I prefer these down-to-earth real world settings as opposed to more fantasy-based scenarios. Great navigation, except I get caught accidentally taking a picture when I just want to look at the album (probably more used to the setup in Meridian 157). Kudos, developers!.Version: 1.1.0
✓ Great game, one caveatAbsolutely love this game. Extra levels are cheap and every one I’ve played has been enjoyable. All I ask is PLEASE make it so I can listen to music while I play. ✓ Great challengesThe puzzles vary quite a lot and they’re all a good level of difficulty. I think there were only 2-3 puzzles that didn’t make sense to me, but I think that’s because they’re just not my forte. Definitely recommend this, especially the paid for packs, they’re more complex and interesting. I particularly enjoyed the final game in pack 3..Version: 1.1.0

✓ Good, but not as good as usual.A sampler pack of various Glitch game environments, downsized and with new puzzles. Most rooms took 30-90 minutes for me to complete, but there were a couple of fairly obscure puzzles that stumped me for a bit. Glitch is one of my favorite devs, but the quality of the puzzles here was not quite as consistent as in their other titles, and there are a few bugs and at least one spelling error. I would compare it to a buffet of leftovers hastily re-prepared. A tasty buffet to be sure, but not the best representation of what Glitch can do..Version: 1.0.8

✓ Good game with witty quipsI do like this game. Puzzles are set just right with no ambiguity. Artwork is good although some scenes are very dark even with brightness on full. I got round this by setting my iPad’s brightness to max too, just had a bit of a shock when I switched to another app..Version: 1.0.5
