✓ Getting better all the timeWell, well, worth the price, and a promising improvement on episode 1, which was already good ... I'm only holding back on star 5 to leave myself room for it, should the next episode get even better! I'm trying to work out why it's not *quite* as immersive as Myst was, in its day. While the scenes are often witty, ( I love the games within games, ) the problems and their solutions sometimes aren't quite as 'aha'. I feel it would be an improvement if the puzzles were more tightly woven into a coherent (even if hidden ) narrative, so the logic of the narrative and its characters could help guide you to the solutions. I would also like more problems which were not simply of the type: find the combination for a lock. Having said all that, the episodes show every sign of growing in that direction... I'll certainly be going for episode 3, and more power to the Glitch elbow!.Version: 1.1

✓ Great and very meaty!This felt like a big adventure. With the walkthrough it's a breeze but DON'T do it! It feels much bigger and more epic if you don't "scratch that itch". Much much bigger than episode one and even has a short animated cut scene at the end :) music had me on edge thinking something was lurking around the corner so much so that the doll and blackboard actually freaked me out (the tension had been implied all through the game up till then). I still get sad thinking of that "welcome home" sign and an equally depressing kids door and arcade set- like a parent who desperately loves their kids - felt so sad (it's great that the game evoked these emotions in me- or maybe it's just my issues).Version: 1.1

✓ Must have Episode 3 NOW!Hurry and get us Episode 3! I'm ready! Episode 2 was almost more thrilling (and freaky - in an exciting, on-the-edge-of-your-chair way!) than Episode 1. The story from the first one continues. You learn more about some of what's taking place in the story. And you want to know what happens next. One of the things I like about this game is that it IS a story. You're finding clues to learn more of what kind of eerie things are happening in this place. Some of the puzzles are easier than others. But I get such a great feeling when I figure something out. I feel like I'm using my brain in these games and feel like I'm not just having fun (lots of it!) but also using logic and other concepts that stretch my brain. Only two problems I've found with this game, though. 1) it's highly addictive! I get so into it that I don't want to go to bed! 2) It's so hard to sit still and wait for the next episode! (Perhaps those aren't, exactly, "problems - but they're still true!) So, Glitch, how much longer ''til the next one's out?.Version: 1.2

✓ 2022 bugHeads up to anyone who hasn’t played Forever Lost 2 since its last update. A new bug has developed. Issue: When placing the wooden pieces on the “Draughts” game in the canteen room, the game will instantly freeze. I’ve tested this issue with an iPad Air 2, iPad Air 4, and iPad 6th Generation all running the newest iOS 15.4.1. Force quitting the app and reopening it, restarting the iPads, deleting and reinstalling the app — none of these common troubleshooting steps resolves the issue. I’ve reported the bug to Glitch. Hopefully it can be resolved soon. I still gave the game a 5 star rating as it’s so good..Version: 1.6.4

✓ Best game experience yetWorth every dollar. No cheats needed and took a few days. What I love most though is the story that revealed itself through the puzzles and clues and that I had became firmly attached to the characters by the end of the board game. I think that attachment helped by playing Alices Story first and then playing game 1. Please give me a ‘happy ending’ payoff before you end the series. Going on to game 3 now ....Version: 1.6

✓ BrilliantI am a fan of 'The Room' and like 'The Room', Forever Lost Episodes 1 AND 2 are worth spending money on. ✓ Excellent mysteryOk, I'm a point-and-click-Myst-type-gamaholic. I've played quite a few of them on my iPad, basically any thing that grabs my attention and looks like it would be fun and mind stimulating. I have to say, Forever Lost (1&2) is one of the best that I've played. I find myself not only enjoying the puzzles, but intrigued by the story that's unfolding. The music is perfect for the environment, just eerie and creepy enough to make me prepare for what may be lurking behind a door before opening it up. The only disappointment was finishing the 2nd game and realizing that the story is still going on...and so now I'm hoping for Glitch to hurry up with game 3!.Version: 1.1

It has taken me 20 tries entering the right pattern but I can’t get it to work. ✓ Really terrificI loved the Room and Room 2, and thought that was as good as it got for point and clock puzzlers. Then I stumbled on Forever Lost and it was so enjoyable I bought this sequel immediately. Not disappointed. The puzzles are really nicely graded to be challenging but solvable with a bit of attention, memory and lateral thinking. On the rare occasion I did use the hint feature, I kind of regretted it ("doh, why didn't I think of that!"). And the art and sound design are excellent. Well done the two guys who produced this. ✓ Fantastic!Just to start, since the other reviews made me hesitate before downloading, I'm using an iPad 4, and I have no difficulties loading the game. Works fine! :) I've played quite a few hidden object games and this one is fantastic. Wonderful music, creepy atmosphere, and better yet, clever puzzles that are really, not overly difficult to solve, but do require some thought. Often enough, the answer is in plain sight, but is ingeniously disguised. I thought the first episode was too short, but this one more than made up for that. I did not use any hints and it took me a long while to complete. One thing I do find somewhat frustrating is the player is able to miss entire areas to explore if he or she does not tap on just the right area on screen. I'm QUITE certain I tapped many times around the kitchen table, but only at the end of the game did I find out it was a playable area. Otherwise great game! Keep them coming!.Version: 1.1
✓ Excellent adventure - not an HOS in sight!If you're here, I probably don't need to sell the game to you, presumably you've bought part 1 and were left wanting more so you've sought out part 2. If not, make sure you play part 1 first, and perhaps the prequel Alice's Cabin or whatever it's called before that if you have an issue with this sequence: VI, V, VI, I, II, III. This game is at least as good as part 1, if you enjoyed that game, you'll definitely enjoy this one. This game gives a little more information on characters in the game, adding to what you had from before, which wasn't much. Love that there are no hidden object scenes, they've made a lot of "adventure" games on iOS kind of tiresome for me. I don't really enjoy them much, unless there's a point of difference, which lets face it most of the time there isn't. Loved the pie charts, by the way. ✓ SuperbWow glitch games have done it again. Fantastic. I am not a fan of these games but tried one and it genuinely made me feel clever, this one has made feel stupid on occasions as i get stuck for a long long time. The puzzles are so clever, that i did struggle on a few, but all it takes is a couple hours out and coming back to it feels like "ah how did i not put 2 and 2 together there" Anyways, only issue is i have to close all apps on my iphone to play it. Both this and the first episode were very well made, pretty challenging, and took hours to compete. There is a built-in hint system (which I admit I used) but most of the puzzles were designed in a way that made sense in relation to your inventory and in-game clues. The developer also responded quickly to an issue hat prevented completion of a specific puzzle, which was greatly appreciated! ✓ Absolutely brilliantThese games are so well thought out. This is far beyond your basic “find the key and unlock the door to escape” game. The puzzles are challenging, but thoroughly rooted in logic. If you get stuck, their hint system is just enough to give you the exact nudge you need without giving anything away. The graphics are beautiful and the music is perfectly creepy. I haven’t started the third game in the series yet, and I am already lamenting when it will be over and I will be done. ✓ Better than the firstThis sequel to Episode 1 is equally unnerving, the puzzles are well thought out and non-linear (as any good adventure game should be), and the subtle clues and references to idioms and pop culture throughout game make you feel foolish for not recognizing their importance sooner! It's just to bad that the game is very unstable on the first generation iPad (app quits continuously and hints function crashes the game when you tap on it). The artwork is rendered beautifully, but there is one area where I think the game fell short visually and thematically-the handwritten text. Using handwriting fonts to simulate this looks fake and unpolished. Scanning and mapping real handwritten content would have been a stellar choice over what comes off feeling like a shortcut. But that's my only gripe and in the overall scheme of things, it is quite minor-thus by 5-star rating. Bravo..Version: 1.0

✓ Totally awesomeAfter struggling with the first game in this series and deleting it after an hour or so before reinstalling it a year later this second one was an instant hit with me. I am not saying it is better than the first, maybe it was because I understood the way it works more but I literally could not put my iPad down the whole day other than the odd visit to the bathroom. I have become a real puzzle mad fan over the last year or so and this trilogy is up there with the best of them. I get scared really easily and that doll freaks me out dude! ✓ Equally good and challengingCracked most puzzles wit no help at all and only had to resort to help on four occasions, which i’m relatively pleased with. Bit short for the money, but there ya go. Slight bug in the soundtrack when you enter school (?) after leaving the well, whereby it often continues playing the dripping water sound. Doesn’t happen all the time though. ✓ Fun, challenging, and really good successionThis is an awesome succession to the first game. The puzzles were all unique and challenging in their own way, if you do not like solving same type of puzzle over and over this game is awesome for you. As someone who played through both the first one and the second one, the second episode did even better in its puzzles! Great job! I was hoping to get a bit more story but I guess it's building for the third one. I really hope to see a bit more story similar to how much story text was in the first one (the diaries, profiles, and so on) in the next episode. Looking forward to it..Version: 1.0

✓ A step up from the first one, really fun and challengingI thought the first Forever Lost was fun, but a little linear and formulaic. Forever Lost 2 is much improved in that respect! There are many puzzles thrown at you at once, and several are quite tricky. One was a little too obscure, but I prefer that to too easy. I wish their hints were more like hints, and less like telling you what to do. It's also impossible to use them to get help with a specific puzzle, as they're not categorized in any way. The checkmarks help, but once I needed a hint for one puzzle and ended up getting a bit of a spoiler for a different one. Overall, really fun and more mature than the first one. ✓ Couldn't stop playingAs the title says, i couldn't stop playing. I found the puzzles to be a little trickier than the first part, but that's a good thing, meant the game lasted longer. There is nothing to fault with this and the previous game. I never experienced any crashes and played flawlessly on my iphone 6. Thumbs up to you guys, and to think i live just a 10 minute drive from you in Oxford, great to have such talented folk in my area. Look forward to Part 3..Version: 1.2
✓ Bigger and BetterAs the heading says, this game is bigger and better than Episode 1 in every way. From the variety of puzzles, the imaginative settings and size of the game, it shows how well Simon and Graham have progressed in their work. Only annoying thing was that it kept on crashing on my ancient iPad 1, but it wasn't bad enough to prevent me from playing the game. Also, a couple of the puzzles I would've never been able to complete without the hints, but that just adds to the enjoyment of the game. Cracking work lads, I expect Episode 3 to be even better! ✓ Almost perfectThis was almost perfect, I love the puzzles, they are truly wonderful. My only complaint has to do with the letter tiles. I set the tiles down onto the puzzle, and then I left them to to solve another puzzle, when I came back the tiles were missing and I couldn’t get them back.
