"Attention" I wrote the above review before I realised that through avarice; Apple and App developers moved from one-off payments to yearly subscriptions in what seems to me to be collusion. I say 'collusion' because this happened in near unison with almost identical payment format information etc. What both parties do not appreciate is that a user like myself might have say, 20 Apps that he uses on a regular basis and thereby if he goes along with this greed of yearly subscriptions; he is paying 20 payments every year and many Apps are charging very high subscriptions rates. On principle alone; I will not pay yearly subscriptions and if it gets to the point where I can no longer do without those regular Apps after they also have moved to yearly subscription; I will leave Apples platform..Version: 11.33.70

✓ Nearly Perfect…I was in need of a new word processor and decided to give WPS a shot. All of my documents from both Word and Pages exported perfectly and look great! The interface is user-friendly and intuitive, and the free option offers all the features I need for my day-to-day writing. The glaring issue is the ballooning of my word counts. Short stories with 3k words suddenly have 3.5k. A 75k novel now has nearly 100k words. Contractions like “don’t” and “can’t” register as 3 words each. Quotation marks are also considered separate words. Because of this, a 3 word dialog of “I don’t care” appears as a whopping 7 words. This issue alone isn’t a dealbreaker but it will require me to constantly copy and paste my work into a separate word counter. I’ll also have to constantly check myself before submitting stories to publications that have a word count requirement. If the devs could fix this, I would gladly give this a 5-star rating..Version: 11.33.81

They also included 1GB of free cloud for sync across devices. You can use your own however it will be mouth more work importing from your file to the app and at the end export out to the file itself through the file management and save to one of the cloud storage like google drive, iCloud, OneDrive, and more. ✓ Great for SIMPLE notes onlyAs a nurse, I was looking for a”simple” word processing app that would let me create a table with information related to my duties (not anything that is personal identifying violating HIPPA.) Yes I already pay for MSWord and iOS apps. I liked the clean appearance of the blank document page of this app. The controls are at the bottom. After some trial and error I was able to use the icons. My disappointment came when I used a premade table template offered by this software. I saw no easy way to edit the template. After many wasted hours trying to edit the template, I created a document that was printable but useless for my needs because there is no way to move or change the table lines. I could not see a way to create a new table and start over. All of my typing with two thumbs was wasted. I have concluded that this word processor is just fine for class notes. It has a highlighting feature and draws shapes making note taking enjoyable. I think it would be good for writers who are writing on the spot or for writing ideas. Because I needed more features, this word processor would not work for my needs. Wish they had a more detailed tutorial as I couldn’t find one. This may be the perfect note taking word processor for you. It’s great for simple note taking. Little kids might enjoy it for typing too.
