✓ Good idle/tower defence mix, (summary of gameplay included)Gameplay Summary of sorts A nice variation of tower defence, with some idle play mixed in as well. There are lots of different characters that you can unlock and upgrade to maximum (I think) level 500. You can play classic waves, conquer castles, and do boss battles. You can make money over time over your mine and conquered castles , both of which are upgradable. The rolling tower you attack from can be upgraded in the forms of itself, it’s units, it’s modules, turrets… even a statue you can equip with artifacts YOU craft to buff your units in various ways. Micro transactions (*NOT PAY TO WIN*) The only issue is that some of the prices for the packs and such you can buy are WAAAAAAY to expensive. Is it pay to win? No. You can win and get good without buying your way there, I haven’t bought a single thing and don’t plan to. Ads Ads aren’t forced on you, but you’ll choose to watch them for the rewards you get. You can choose to watch them to double your collected gold for just about everything, castles, mine and games. For watching these, not only do you get your reward but you also get 1 step closer to the ads chest, a chest you get when you watch around 7 ads. ✓ Great game overall with room to improveStarted playing yesterday and am thoroughly enjoying it. Fun to play or wait for resources, though I’ve been plowing through it no problem. Lots of units to use and upgrades to be unlocked. Plenty of opportunity to buy upgrades and premiums but you aren’t forced to or penalized for it. F2P gives you options to watch ads for more resources (which I don’t mind and do frequently). Only complaint would be that it’s crashed on me about 4 times in about as many hours, but it reloads and plays fine after that. Great game overall and the crashes are the only thing preventing me from making it 5 stars. Everything else looks and plays great for a free download. However pvp battles are broken - game crashes occasionally when loading pvp and the opponents offered for pvp battle are unbalanced and impossible. ✓ Short & SweetI love the game and think it is an amazing spin on the “Tower Defense” Genre. Easy to play if you’ve just got a minute or two to spare. I’ve only got 1 real complaint and a suggestion. When upgrading units it switches the “Use Gold” to upgrade button with the “Spend Crystals” to upgrade button, which is a really cheap way to make the user waste crystals (a.k.a. the money maker). This applies if you’re someone upgrading a unit 5 or 10 levels in one go. By far a disgusting (and highly profitable for you I’m sure) tactic. You said the last release put in a safeguard against “Accidentally” spending crystals? Definitely didn’t see any of that 10 minutes ago. My suggestion is add the ability to sort the clan members differently. When doing the Triumph Challenge and I’m trying to drop some members with 0 keys, I have no clue how it’s sorted and have to bounce between different screens. All said, I still love the game and spent $10 for the Pro this month.... if there’s a few changes, I’ll give it a few more..Version: 1.7

The range of units, tower mods, and turrets are pretty awesome! The progression of difficulty has been superb! Just right to make you grind a little if you want to or just sit back and afk save! A couple visual bugs where monsters that are dead stay in the field or spell effects linger on certain hordes when they spawn, but nothing major. Advice? Throw in some events! Make little side islands pop up with extra gold drop or maybe a powerful unit if you make it all the way thru it! The timed caravans are great but I’m talking like a weekend event or something. It’s so annoying that we have all these units but cannot fill that tower. Or allow drummer to be on that tower, as he fits the arrow theme. ... fix the ability to see unit range, as this often does not work ... also with range, units special abilities do not activate until a much more closer range (unless manually moved EVERY time) than their shooting (throw, cast etc) ability. If unit goes up higher in tower, their special ability should activate sooner too, esp summoning ground forces, etc. ... any cash spent on game should boost our bonus tiers. Gameplay is fun, and they do not nickel and dime you. There are options you can buy, but only extras if you want them, not needed for the game play. The only problem I have is they changed the way you can upgrade your military units. It had been, you pay gold you won in battles to increase the training ground to increase the unit levels. Now you still pay the gold for the increase in training level, but you also have to reach a certain wave level in battle before you can raise training ground levels. It’s too high of wave levels. Let us decide how we build our tower defenses, and when we want to raise levels without creating another obstacle to overcome. Please remove the wave restrictions, let us raise whatever levels we would like if we win the gold to do so. Thank you..Version: 1.11.3

Those who like quant-based strategy optimization games should enjoy this. Note to developer: Most of the game is well-polished, but there are a few elements that don’t work as intended. One of the Mad Archmage’s skills that should mimic the Warlock’s demon summon does not work as described (meteor lands but no demon is summoned). ✓ Solid game that needs a bit of work.Special skills are a huge part of the game, but the targeting for the special skills is very finicky and just doesn’t feel very fluid. Auto play negates this problem, but you have to pay for the $10/month subscription to get unlimited auto play. Also, this is a newer sort of game but that should be a 1 time fee rather than a monthly subscription, I’m not sure where they get off charging $120 a year to be able to play the game how it should be played. Using the special skills is also difficult because the button to click to initiate the targeting, which is bad too, is so small sometimes it’s easy to misclick, putting larger buttons across the bottom would definitely solve this and I feel like there’s plenty of screen real estate for that..Version: 1.5.2

✓ Good game but could use tweaks here and thereThis is a fairly unique game and I find it really fun to play. However certain things are frustrating. For example, the upgrade times for the units are tolerable but once you reach level 200 with most units, they no longer receive abilities or significant upgrades, so you’re effectively waiting 24hrs or longer for no reason other than to be able to continue upgrading them. Another issue is that the portal of bandits only allows archer units, which is a problem since there isn't a wide enough selection to be able to fill all the slots in the tower. This could be fixed by simply allowing thrower units to be used in on that portal (thrower units feel a little neglected in my opinion, compared to archers and especially mages. Plus it makes sense, given that arrows and thrown projectiles are similar in nature). I do have great hopes for this game and look forward to seeing what else will be added..Version: 1.7.1

The best units are behind a paywall which is understandable, but if someone has paid for Pro version shouldn’t they at least get to choose one unit for free? You could make the waves easier a little for people who don’t want to pay, upgrades a little cheaper and access too a little more gems. If your constantly getting rewarded then you won’t quit and possibly spend more. Failing a wave 40 times because an ability didn’t act correctly is annoying too lol. ✓ Fun time waster with one major drawback.This is one of the few idle games I’ve enjoyed. However there is one major annoyance. The gem currency is extremely limited, so it might take weeks to save enough to buy special towers or units with it. That wouldn’t be a problem were it not for the TERRIBLE UI design. You can be clicking the gold upgrade button for your tower and then all of a sudden in the SAME exact place as the gold button was, it’ll change out and place the gem upgrade button in the same place. This is either a terrible design mistake, or if intentional, it’s an extremely shady and deceptive way to get people to accidentally waste their gems so they’re more likely to pay real money for more. ✓ Well Balanced!I got this game today and have played it for about 3 hours now. I love how balanced the game is! How you can still earn money when you lose and you can earn gems without having to pay, how there’s an afk aspect as well as the active aspect, and so far it doesn’t seem to be very pay-to-win either. ✓ My favorite game so farThis game has so many characters and you can get more and more the longer you play so you don’t have to worry about running out and being bored. This strategy game has you playing for so long and I don’t leave or delete the game even after being on the 124 wave. You can switch out the characters you’re using and can get different characters for different types of attacks. It has a great backstory and you can play with friends and challenge each other. ✓ Great mix of TD & PRPG!As the title suggests, this game is honestly a great time killer! Mixing your classic medieval Tower Defense with a simple {but pleasing} PRPG. The only gripe I have about the game so far (Lvl 32) is just how much the Developers push for micro-transaction purchases. I understand you have to make money to continue Developing the game, but having to click out of multiple forced “Special Deal” type pop-ups within 10-15 minutes is just absurd. That’s every play session as well not just a rare occurrence. All in all great job so far! ✓ Great game but lots of bugsFirst of I would like to say I love this game it is probably my favourite game on iTunes at this moment in time. This is a great game with tons of potential however there is lot of bugs here is a list •horse-men push back summons so they can’t fight. •some times the earth mage earthquake leaves bodies on screen I’ve found you can get rid of these by quitting and reloading the game. •some times the enemy troops spawn with effects already in place such a slow,burn,freeze •when looking at the range of your heroes and they go off screen you can’t see how far the range is, making it useless. •I some how ended up with the pro mode without paying for it I was able to reset it by using restore purchases, I have since bought it in full. •my last and largest complaint is I am unable to join a clan nor create a profile, it says I already have one but when I go on clan it says I don’t and have to create one but I’m unable to as I already have one but when I go the edit my profile it say there is an issue with the internet but all other options work fine I have done everything I can think off to fix this. With the complaints out of the way I would like to say again how much I enjoy playing this game. It has great variation in possible styles of play. Nice simple graphics, enjoyable gameplay, no need to dump tons of money in to complete the game (but worth it if you do decide to) and lastly you can play it for hours on end without getting bored..Version: 1.5.1
✓ Really fun!!I play tons of phone games. Some look good but aren’t. Some are fun for the first 5 minutes but quickly become boring. But this one is a truly fun game that I have been playing for a while now. You can upgrade literally everything in all sorts of ways. It so far seems to have tons of different units to use and go against. It is challenging without being being too ridiculous. (ahhm Dark Souls). It is also not a pay to play type of game. ✓ In game experienceThe experience in game is too high for me and I think I speak for most players to continue playing up to high levels, instead I’ve been just passive farming and losing everyday bc of the lack of even number of archers which makes the first In map archer challenge the hardest and stops me from continuing to level up and get experience and keep playing, it’s almost like a lock on the game since the chest has the only experience that’s matters, I’d change the games experience back to the original and reward players with two level up points when they can open the chest, this will allow players to continue to want to play levels and at the same time have the eager ness to continue to upgrade to get the extra points on the side for the difficulty of the levels of the unit challenge missions.Version: 1.7

None of new items are likely to make it on to your tower, the expanded map is great but the cap on the number of ads chests you can open a day is far worse. ✓ Great game, although 2 problems.Ads, the problem with the ads in this game is it feels like it forces you to watch ads to get better rewards… with out the ads it feels less rewarding to a terrible extent. There is one thing that solves the issue and it’s buying an in-game subscription which I see is pay to win. Gems, now the problem with gems is that it’s also extremely pay to win… there aren’t much ways to get gems other than buying them for real money straight up in the shop. ✓ A few ideas for improvements.I would give this game five stars in all honesty, however there are a few things I would like to see change. The first being the music, I wish I could play my music in the background. Second the targeting, this is one thing that does frustrate me about the game. I think that a part of the upgrade interface should include what a unit should focus on. For example the archers they can attack all units, but you could make it so they prioritize flying over ground units. Third is just another hero idea. This one would send out little mechanized attackers. Like in Skyrim the dwarvine ruins have those robots that are enemies. A hero that could send out that kind of fighter would be neat. The last thing I would like to see is a collect all button for the castles and strongholds that gather loot. It is kind of tedious to press each one individually. This game is really good and I am interested to see where it goes. I hope for a reply and I can always think of more ideas for the developers..Version: 1.5.1
✓ Good game, some bugsThe game is pretty good and I have a lot of fun and there’s only one glitch that I’m having big problems with right now is that when I go to place a unit on the tower sometimes it doesn’t place it at all or places a different unit which is super annoying, I’ve noticed that after I train a troop this happens (puts different troop down compared to what I wanted) like I trained my crossbow man and when I go to place my archer on the tower it puts the crossbow man on it, I hope this gets fixed soon but still a great game and that’s the only bug I’ve ran across Edit: the game won’t open for me now after the last update don’t know if it’s my phone or the game.Version: 1.9.1
✓ Fun and addicting game until it brokeGame was fun and addicting! Unfortunately the game broke after I reached level 1046. I dont know if this is a game limit but pressing the battle start does nothing. Also, I cannot select units and upgrade them as the tower tab is completely broken. Please help! Update 3.27: I understand that I’ve reached the max level for now but can you fix the bug? All players that reach 1046 cannot access are towers to change units or upgrade. Please fix asap so we can participate in the event. Update 3.28 I have spoken to them via fb and addressed the issue. However, the game broke again at 1058. ✓ Surprising ObsessionI love this game so much. Started playing yesterday and now I can’t stop. Lol. I also love the fact that you have unlimited lives and still earn money and experience even when you lose a round. I’m not sure how that will work in the long run, if it’ll make it too easy or not. But so far there seems to be enough content to keep me playing for a long time! The only thing that frustrates me is the fact that the game isn’t linked between my iPhone and my iPad. ✓ Surprisingly addictive !!I've always enjoyed tower defence games but usually lose interest when it gets to hard to upgrade... Towerlands has a nice balance of battles/ upgrades with no forced ads... however as a F2P if you want to progress more rapidly watching a ad will double your gold haul... the new 48 hr clan war is strategic and fun but in my opinion too long... maybe 24hrs would be a better fit... also could we have a promotion option for the leader so others can kick as if leader is inactive the clan is stuck with deadwood... however keep mixing it up black bear you have kept my interest so far... such fun 😀.Version: 1.8

✓ Great game, addictingAmazing game, which can become very addicting! A lot of variation with towers / units / and spending skill points on different skill “trees. Rewards you for being active, and watching sd’s to give you more rewards and gems. An active clan adds to the enjoyment of The game, to further increase rewards you gain and resources needed to increase your power against PVP, waves, and castles located on the map. PVP events reward you with units / towers for participating, these units can be very nice for your personal builds! Game looks nice, and runs smoothly and doesn’t put any sort of strain on my phone. Developers are also very useful in resolving any queries you have, and fixing them promptly. Great help they were for myself and could not fault them at all. My general rule is if i’ve put more than 5 hours into a mobile game, i’ll toss them 5 bucks regardless. Since this is a great game, I purchased a tower unit to support the dev. Having said that, you can absolutely play this game casually without paying a dime, and that’s really rare with builder style games. This is due to the mine collecting coins. Play for a bit, do some battles, then set it aside and let the mine collect coins. Keep the mine upgraded and you’ll never need to pay for coins or gems.
