✓ Great, exceptI love these pixel remasters. The only issue I am having is multitasking. If you minimize these games to check email, you come back to the game and it has restarted. Annoying bug. Also, I really just want to play these on ps4 and switch. And one more thing, to the review complaining about the sound, you probably have your phone in silent mode. Disable that..Version: 1.0.1
✓ Great Remaster, but It’s buggy.The new remaster is faithful to the original, and the new rearranged BGM is well worth the price. The problem is there are many bugs in the current states of the game, some can be game breaking. Examples ☆1. Submarine can accidentally dive onto the undersea land block, which will requires you reload the game, so save before you dive. ☆2. Boss Necrophobe doesn’t show up last floor in many players game, currently cause unknown. I hope those will be fix soon without needing to reload early save, I really hate to abandon so much progress..Version: 1.0.2

✓ Not on par with other versionsI LOVE the original Final Fantasy games so you can only imagine how happy I was to learn about these new versions. In good faith I bought the whole FF Pixel Remaster bundle. I was immediately upset to see there was no controller support. When I went online to see if an update was pending, I was dismayed to find out that not only has there NOT been an update in ages, but the PS4 and Switch versions have alternate music tracks, no encounter mode, and an EXP boost mode! As a family man with a rather busy schedule, those last two features would have been extremely welcome. I’m unfortunately going to issue request for a refund. Hopefully someday Square will find it in there hearts to make all versions have the same feature set..Version: 1.0.8
✓ Great gameMy favorite final fantasy that wasn’t originally released in the US. If I complete the game without issue will up to 5 stars. For those of you having problems catching the black chocobo, switch movement from the cross pad to tap and you will get him easy..Version: 1.0.3

✓ Had a great time!Surprisingly great, polished-looking return to the original. It feels like it keeps everything good about the SNES version and makes it better. As of April 2022, I only encouraged a handful of minor bugs, like insta-escaping certain battles when I was supposed to attack, or a few oddly long delays for an action to execute..Version: 1.0.5

✓ Pretty good gameThis game (like 6 and 9) haven’t had much added in terms of new additional content. Even Final Fantasy 2 got Dawn of Souls. However, I really liked how this game approached things. It really impressed me and the overall way to grind (after the update) let me grease through that rough patch and get straight to doing the story. The story was actually very nice, and was pretty complex. The characters also seemed to get more time to be fleshed out better which was something I didn’t experience in FF4. I also thought there was a lot of creativity oozing out of this game. Especially when it came to the small cutscenes or moments you fight against different enemies. The ending was also very nice and was refreshing. I can understand why (when asked) the FF7R director said if he had a choice he’d love to remake this game. I’d be excited for something like that. This game is definitely worth a play through..Version: 1.1.0

✓ 5/5 If Sealed Temple Was PresentNear perfect remaster. Unlike other pixel remasters like FF3 where the bonus content from later games didn’t add much in FF5’s case it added 4 additional jobs and a slew of new superbosses. Without the Sealed Temple in this version it is not the best FF5 version available which is the GBA version. Though the remastered music and sound is top notch I would pay extra if the Sealed Temple bonus content was added to this version..Version: 1.0.2

✓ A faithful and stunning remasterAn amazing game brought back to life. you might be put off by the games 16 bit pixel art style and npc looking main characters, but rest assured this is a great adventure from squares golden age - an often overlooked gem. Now the story isn't as classic as ff4 or amazing as ff6, but it holds it own and its main charm is the job system. If money is no issue then buy it as the soundtrack is worth it alone and is even better with an actual orchestral score instead of early 90’s bleeping..Version: 1.0.5

✓ One of my favorites in the series! Bugs fixed!If you’re already familiar then you know the class system in FF5 is one of the best out there, next to FFTactics. Love the game! ✓ Final fantasy V epic nostalgiaBig fan of this particular instalment.the first to cross mix the job classes with super abilities at the end of each job what it lacks in story it more then made up for in ,game mechanics.I personally have had no problem with the lack of controller support as the on screen mechanics work just fine and I knew that going into it thanks again square for a beautiful well balanced game can’t wait for final fantasy 6.Version: 1.0.1
