✓ Waste of money; do not buy!I loved the full lock feature in the old app. It really was a game changer for how I managed my time. I was so excited to see the feature brought back! However, I had to re-pay my premium account from the old app, and then I only got 5 free locks? What did I even pay for? Plus the app is glitchy. No matter what I do I keep getting an error to even use the feature. Deleting today and hopefully someone comes out with a better product soon. Horrible company for making this move..Version: 1.0

✓ Rearranged all my appsThe concept of this app is great. It does what it sets out to do. But having it rearrange all my downloaded apps to alphabetical order when it came back online is a major deal breaker for me. I keep my apps in a specific order for ease of access. Having to rearrange them all again was a total pain and there’s no way in hades am I doing that every time I need to disconnect for work. Concept is a 4 or 5 star idea. ✓ Apps don’t reappearI’ve used Flipd Before, I know how useful/good it can be - but so far it’s not the same as it once was. Charging to use the full lock, okay fair enough (It is a bit pricey). And I can even accept the alphabetical order as I know it’s a limitation of working on iOS (it’s been like this for years they still haven’t worked out how to get round it) But what I can’t accept is when the time is up, the apps don’t reappear. It’s happened on multiple occasions now - and the only solution is to uninstall the permissions and reinstall them every time you want to use the full lock, which quite frankly is just idiotic. To pay £30 (year subscription) and for the basic feature to not work/stay working, it’s inexcusable. It worked before, why I can’t get it to work now is beyond me. And for some reason Safari is still available too, whereas on the old version it wasn’t. But to have to keep changing the permissions every time is just not on. Sort it out.Version: 1.0

✓ Amazing app, however...When I heard that Flipd was offering an app lock feature again, I was really happy because that was the main purpose I had for Flipd. I have no self control, so forcing myself out of my phone is my best option to get myself to work. Flipd’s option for this is probably the best out there, as there’s nothing sketchy about it and it’s made specifically for people who need to force themselves off their phone, while most apps like this are for parents restricting their child’s screen time. Based off of my great past experiences with this feature, you can imagine my disappointment when I opened this app to find that I have to pay to have more than 4 locks. That defeats the entire purpose.. I’m in high school and therefore can’t pay for that. Now instead of locking my phone whenever I need to work or study, I have to be wise about when and why I use my phone locks, which just encourages me to be on my phone more! I have to find a new app to lock my phone now. I’ve looked a lot of places in the past, but none are of the quality of Flipd. I highly recommend Flipd if you can afford the subscription, but otherwise it’s pretty much useless and not paying for the subscription defeats the point of the whole app..Version: 1.0

✓ Good app, for only 5 sessionsThis option used to be free on the previous app, which helped tremendously. But now with the new app, there’s a monthly subscription! Not to mention how expensive it actually is as well. I think it should be cheaper since your using the same system, just on a different app to pull of the focus lock. ✓ TerribleI thought this would be an amazing app but quite frankly, it was horrible. In theory this app does the job by eliminating distractions but it does it in a very unproductive way. The app was very unenjoyable to use and only gives you three free sessions. It removed all my app from the App Library once the timer was done and rearranged my Home Screen which I do not appreciate. Until I did a trial and I was like “oh wow.” I didn’t realize that I personalized my phone so much. But that didn’t annoy me and I was warned about it. What I didn’t see or read was that all of my apps setting would be changed back to default. So all my notification settings, signing back in to apps, so forth. That was way beyond annoying. However for the one minute I did a trial run, I immediately did something productive. The app works but is it worth losing all your settings? That’s up to you. I was of the belief, eh it’s settings, how bad could it be? But then I saw and realized that the app isn’t for me. I’m going to spend a ton of time just getting my phone back to where it was. ✓ Used to be free and now it’s not.You could always fully lock your phone for free but the new update now forces you to pay for the feature. Seems like Flipd got shamefully greedy. ✓ Bad...What once was an okay app is now two apps, both not very good. The full lock feature has been taken off the usual flipd app and only on downloading the update did I see this. I now need to download the new app, and email the company to ask them to merge the accounts so I don’t have to pay twice (?!). And the features are hit and miss. More than once now, having set full lock for 3 hours, my apps have not reappeared after 8, so I have had to uninstall the permissions. ✓ Just one (big) flawThis app is the best thing I’ve got in a long time to help me focus when studying, it’s well designed and super easy to use... it’s only a shame that once the lock is taken off all your apps are shuffled into random spots. I’m new to this app and within the first hour I realized I couldn’t start locking my phone because it would remove all my apps, including Zoom that I needed for a meeting and also removes Kindle and Audible which I need for learning. Please add a feature to let us decide which apps we would like removed. Plus this would be a huge help for the dizzying experience of the alphabetized apps that reappear. My mine focus to using this app is to lock social media. Most of my other apps, besides what I use for work and learning, I never touch anyway so there’s no need for them to disappear or for me to choose to lock them. This app is a great start but I’m very hesitant to pay the subscription. Is this option coming soon?.Version: 1.0
✓ Useless appI purchased the app and after a few days it went for a consecutive 3 days lock over the weekend. Then I email the company that my phone is lock from 3 days please unlock it for me. They asked me to delete the MDM in your settings and reinstall the app again. Now I know how to remove the unlock every time I need to use the phone. ✓ Help! Apps won’t come back!Normally I love this app but for whatever reason my apps aren’t coming back on my phone! ✓ App doesn’t workI ran one lock that went normally, I understand the iOS restrictions so my issue is not with that. The second time I tried a lock I set a custom time on it and the lock just never ended, and I had to uninstall the media manager in order to get my apps back. I saw a review from a year ago that said the same thing so I hoped this had been fixed but it hasn’t. ✓ TerribleThe one thing it advertises is the one thing it does - it blocks you from using apps. BUT that’s because it removes them (in some fashion) from your phone. All of your downloaded apps disappear during the allotted time, and then come back afterward. However, every app is re-arranged and requires you to adjust the notification settings again. Every app you open asks you, regardless of how often you have used it, whether you want to receive notifications again. Great that it is effective in eliminating app usage - but at what cost?.Version: 1.0

✓ Good when it worksWhen you pay 50$ yearly for a service you expect it to work. It does 1/5 times, i often have to redownload and resetup the app and even then it works 1 out of 2 times. ✓ Should do so much more...For the price of the subscription, this app really should do more. For one thing, it’s super frustrating that apps don’t come back to their same spot/folder on my home screen. I like to have my apps in a specific order, so this on its own is *almost* a deal breaker for me. I really hope the developers are working on figuring out a way to fix this issue. The other thing is, I’d like to be able to block certain specific apps instead of having to block everything. For example, I normally listen to Audible on my way to/from work or n the shower. This app in no way affects my productivity. In fact, it allows me to “read” while performing other tasks. But I don’t have a way to continue using this app while blocking just those that pose a distraction. Also, I should be able to schedule future blocks so that they happen automatically. For example, if I want to allow myself to use these apps at a certain time each day I should be able to do this. And finally, I should be able to block time-sucking apps (in my case Facebook or Instagram) for days at a time if I really wanted a reset. This app simply does not do why it should be able to do and is not worth the cost of the subscription. Super disappointing..Version: 1.0
✓ It completely changes your Home Screen layout!I tested this app out for 5 minutes to see what it could do and when the timer was done it had completely rearranged my entire Home Screen layout! It moved all the apps I had in my library out into the Home Screen. This is absolutely infuriating especially since it doesn’t tell you it’ll do that! I had just assumed it would put things back as is, but nope! Every time you use it you’d have to put your Home Screen back the way you want it. This app is supposed to save time but the 5 minutes I used it caused me 30 minutes of Home Screen reorganization. What a complete joke..Version: 1.0.1

It does not return your apps in order once you use it. So if you have your Home Screen organized in a way you like, prepare for it to be reset every time 2. The 8 hour lock. Does. Not. Lift. I put it on when I go to sleep and when I wake up like 10 hours later it’s still locked. Have to install and uninstall full lock permissions everytime and it’s incredibly annoying. I don’t disconnect from WiFi or go out or anything because it’s at night when I sleep. Until these two are fixed I suggest just trying to stay off your phone with your power of will. ✓ Deletes and dumps appsIt does the job of stopping you getting distracted, so I guess it does the job, but when it says ‘removes distracting apps’ it literally means it deletes them from your Home Screen and then when the time is up dumps them at random back onto the screen. My apps are either in my App Library or in folders so I didn’t appreciate going through and reorganising my apps back into the library and folders, really inconvenient and poor design. Why anyone would want their apps deleted and dumped back onto their Home Screen every time they want to get work done is beyond me. ✓ DisappointedWanted to like this app but it was a total pain. When I downloaded it I was aware that my apps would be “alphabetically rearranged” after the time was up since its not entirely compatible with iOS; however, I was willing to give it a try. That was until along with it rearranging my phone ALL of my notification settings were reset/turned off which wasn’t stated as an issue in the ‘disclaimer’ and I ended up missing a ton of things because of it.
